I’ve been thinking long and hard about writing this article, but concluded that it is sadly needful.
It isn’t about the “terrorist attack” on the Finsbury Mosque, it’s about how the MSM have gone full-on ‘appease and submit’ – and never mind the facts. It’s about how they, our government, our luvvies on Twitter have created a ‘narrative’. That narrative (how I loathe that expression!) has to be maintained at all cost.
First up is of course the actual event. The MSM described this immediately as a ‘terrorist attack’ on ‘muslim worshippers’ at a mosque. It doesn’t matter that the graphics of the street lay-out they published themselves show clearly that this white van wasn’t anywhere near a mosque. No matter. Police, MSM and politicians declared, within minutes, that it was a ‘terrorist attack’ on muslim worshippers and that’s that. Shut up, you islamophobes!
Compare and contrast this with their ‘narrative’ on the Manchester terrorist attack, shredding our children, or London Bridge, attacking and killing innocent people. For a couple of days they were described as ‘incidents’, as if they somehow just happened to happen, no connection to the Religion of Peace, can’t judge a whole religion etc etc etc.
Then we got to read about that ‘Hero Imam’ who saved the driver’s life by asking his compatriots to stop kicking him. The luvvies on Twitter adored it: see how compassionate the RoP is! Not one of them asked why that was even necessary – how compassionate is it to shout ‘kill him, kill him’ and kicking the bejasus out of him? There were videos of that, but they have of course now been ‘vanished’.
Now ponder this: Ms May immediately called for more surveillance of the internet – because that driver was obviously radicalised by all those bad islamophobes out there. Unlike the terrorists of Manchester and London Bridge who were ‘known’ to the security services – this driver was unknown to MI5 and had no police record. So what ‘radicalised’ him then?
People from the pub he last visited on Saturday June 17th, told the MSM that he was thrown out of that pub for being drunk, that he’d sat in a corner mumbling to himself, making notes, and that he had been railing against muslims. A muslim neighbour told that he’d been nice to her, but after London Bridge he said something bad to her 12-year-old son.
That’s the process of ‘radicalisation’ then: his personal reaction to London Bridge. But the MSM and Twitter went into overdrive to blame …. Katie Hopkins, Tommy Robinson and of course Nigel Farage! For the more intellectually inclined, Douglas Murray also is to blame … They’re the ‘radicalisers’ – not that islamic terrorist attack.
I note in passing that the MSM describe those muslim terrorists as ‘having been triggered’ by something the UK government did – perfectly reasonable, of course, and they wouldn’t have been ‘triggered’, obviously, if they had more safe spaces. One drunk, single white man however means that all white people who dare criticise the RoP must have been radicalised by the evil ‘alt-right’ islamophobes.
Christopher Hitchens once said:
No matter – our thoughts, our freedom not just of speech but of reading and watching what we want, that must be curtailed. After all, didn’t our own PM tell us that “islamophobia” is as bad as islamic extremism?
Of course, the TV stations and news programmes were full of muslim spokespeople, exclusively, while Tommy Robinson was labelled as ‘ex- EDL Leader’ in that epic ITV interview with Piers Morgan (that video has now been taken down by ITV).
Meanwhile, later that day there was an “incident” on the Champs Elysees (see here), where a known-to-the-securities islamist rammed a police vehicle. His car exploded because there was a gas bottle in it (perfectly innocent, and never mind the AK 47s also found there). That got barely a mention. Another “incident” yesterday in Brussels (read this) also never made the headlines: islamic business as usual, it’s just normal, ‘part and parcel’, get used to it as politicians keep telling us …
And then, on Tuesday evening, we learned that the Met Police were given more time to interrogate that driver. They used the word ‘incident’. So the police now regard this no longer as terrorist attack because under terrorism law they can hold him without charge for up to 14 day. A poignant comment said:
“The moment history will record Britain officially moving from a democracy to a fascist regime was when the Prime Minister and Chief of Police publicly declared a man guilty of terrorism before any investigation had begun and not a single journalist or legal expert dared challenge them.”
Do you remember that after Manchester and London Bridge MSM, luvvies and politicians told us not to tar a whole community of peace-loving muslims with the brush of terrorism, and that we must all love each other – ‘don’t look back in anger’? Compare that with the instant outpouring of rage and incrimination after that ‘terrorist attack’ now downgraded to ‘incident’ on Monday night: tarring the whole “white community” (yes, that expression was used!) as islamophobic racists is perfectly all right, muslim ‘rage’ is totally acceptable.
It doesn’t seem to occur to all those who have abandoned their professional duty to report objectively that what they are doing is worse than appeasement. They are promoting the submission of us, the ‘white British’, to islam. Criticising that ‘religion’, never mind being angry about their terrorist attacks, and above all never mind being angry about their child grooming gangs and gang rapes over decades: that must be prohibited in the name of ‘peace and love’.
Edmund Burke said: “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”
Prohibiting us ordinary people from speaking out against evil allows that evil to flourish and triumph.
In response to LOOK FORWARD WITH ANGER by Citizen Cain: I have often wondered why, say, a platoon of ISIS combatants haven’t already invaded Britain; it would be quite easy. This week a container housing several ‘illegals’ was pulled over in the South of England. Some were dehydrated, so they made the journey at least partly under-prepared. If ISIS or their like were so minded they could equip themselves with the necessary rations and munitions and ship themselves over to any of our docks for onward transmission to absolutely anywhere. A similar group of civilian illegals made their way through Tilbury about 18 months ago. Unchecked when being unloaded they were only discovered after shouts for help could be heard from within the container as one of their number had died. An Irishman was arrested for arranging the journey. The ISIS scenario could be imagined from this incident and I wrote to one of our MEPs outlining it and asking for the situation to be at least mentioned by him/the Party to Westminster. Kudos for UKIP should such a cargo be discovered; or an “I told you so” accusation (a la Grenfell House)could be levelled at the PTB if an attack by container occupants was ever successful. Sadly I never even received an acknowledgement.
I am certain that we have been invaded already and the clock is ticking. There are many ways to enter the UK undetected and this includes boat to wild coast of Eire then by van with all your kit to Belfast and then to Liverpool – it is not rocket science. Some religious buildings were built for and operate as command and control centres. We will never be told the truth. Appeasement rules in Downing Street. Many many civilians are going to be killed in the name of multiculturalism/open door immigration/ cultural marxism cum common purpose/ antiwhite mental illness (“blancophobia)/ etc
I have come to the conclusion – and I know it sounds bonkers – that we have to resurrect the Gods & Myths of Norse Europe. We need the power and fighting spirit of Thor, the fecundity of Freya, the hard justice of Odin to combat the evil that has put to sleep 75% of the nation and of the rest 20% are the enemy.
It’s difficult to criticise the use of the word ‘terrorism’, since there’s no totally agreed objective definition. The extensive Wikipedia article suggests:
1. Terrorism is the use of violence or threat of violence especially against civilians in the pursuit of political aims, religious, or ideological change.
2. It can only be committed by non-state actors or undercover personnel serving on the behalf of their respective governments.
3. It reaches more than the immediate target victims and is also directed at targets consisting of a larger spectrum of society.
4. It is both mala prohibita (i.e., crime that is made illegal by legislation) and mala in se (i.e., crime that is inherently immoral or wrong).
Thus given the words of the perpetrator when asked why he had driven into the group of Muslims – that he wanted to kill Muslims – his actions satisfy the criteria above, as of course have all the Muslim Extremists’ attacks.
It was clearly not an attack on the Finsbury Mosque itself, since as Vivian rightly points out, that was well away. It was as I heard stated an attack on Muslims who were leaving the Mosque.
We have been informed that a man who was in the road, had collapsed from having a heart attack and was being helped. Given this could not have been planned, did the perpetrator change the manner of carrying out his original plan to kill Muslims when he happened to come across the group already in the road?
The facts will only be fully established following a court case.
I think there is a far bigger criticism to make of thee national mainstream media than any here: the BBC and other national media with their wall to wall coverage of terrorist incidents aid and abet the terrorising of the nation, giving the terrorists coverage and publicity which would would cost millions if they had to buy it. I can’t think of anything more encouraging to a potential terrorist group to commit their next outrage.
Given time devoted to repeating the same coverage and speculation over and over again was broadcast time and newspaper pages not able to be devoted to in-depth discussion of General Election Manifestos, the national media’s extensive coverage of the terrorist atrocities during the run-up to the General Election also aided and abetted the terrorists’ aim to diminish Western democracy.
The national media needs to wake up to having allowed themselves to become the terrorists’ mouthpiece. A daily quarter of a page with no photos and no more than three 3 minute broadcasts (which people can catch up on if required) purely to give the population information they need to go about their daily business – such as which roads and stations are still closed – and thereby minimise publicity for the terrorists is the only coverage of such outrages required. This is a case of democracy needing to protect itself from itself by those who have freedom exercising it responsibly for the greater good.
If the man in question is a terrorist in a van then he was particularly pathetic as he did not kill anyone and the 9 injured in the accident do not have life threatening injuries.
Of course he is guilty of something but what he did is not in the same category of the Manchester mass murderer etc.
CK what he did was utterly dreadful and attempting murder is not the answer, ever. However, I will probably get slated for saying my heart goes out to this man. Here he was, the father of four children, watching what happened to other children in Manchester – not just that, watching life getting increasingly more dangerous for his children. He must have felt that nothing was being done to protect them – we can only guess at what was going on in his obviously tormented imagination, but I am sure he isn’t alone in worrying about his young family. People said he was seen muttering to himself, and I believe he had drunk quite a lot of alcohol before he undertook his dreadful, as he may have seen it, mission.
However, the children in Manchester, as well as these innocent Muslims, are not responsible, on the one hand, for Globalists bombing innocent people in the Middle East and on the other, the determination of many radical Muslims to engineer a world-wide Caliphate.
Our collective fight must be against those who are viciously trying to shape the World as they want it, never with innocent civilians.
Thank you Viv. Very well said.
I particularly liked the Christopher Hitchens quote.
I’m very disappointed with Jonathan Arnott’s recent comments.
He’s fond of asking people to read Surah 109 in the Qur’an.
I put a comment on his facebook about that:
“Perhaps you Jonathan should read Surah 9.29 which I hope you are aware is a later revelation than Surah 109 and therefore abrogates Surah 109. As I assume you know, the Surah numbers in the Qur’an do not relate to a chronological sequence and where there is a conflict in commands the later revelation abrogates the earlier revelation.”
I wonder whether he read it; and more importantly, whether he understood it.
We are looking at the basic building blocks of our country being restacked and rearranged to effectively destroy the once stable makeup of our being by our government.
Your can add your own building blocks but to start with:-
The Christian building block being replaced by a Muslim block-
Expected indigenous marriage building block replaced by communities with little to no indigenous population and a high foreign birth rate building block-
Police stability building block replaced by politically correct building block-
And on and on it goes, society manipulated rearrangement, the blocks arranged for our marginalisation and to what end?
Thank you Viv, I was sure the Finsbury mosque episode would be given your forensic treatment, and you have said it all in one article.
Like James, I felt as if I had been kicked in the stomach by a horse when I read the disgraceful article in the Mirror by Bill Etheridge suggesting that Anne Marie and her supporters should be kicked out of UKIP. I challenged him directly on Twitter, and he replied that he didn’t want those in UKIP who concentrated on a ‘single issue’. To which I replied, that’s all right because I don’t, and neither does Anne Marie. We didn’t hear from Mr Arnott again on Twitter (that I know of) after I had mentioned his support for a prison sentence for poor Mr. Crehan – we still don’t know the circumstances of his death – can you imagine if this had been a member of an ethnic minority group who had died – MSM would have been all over it. I still feel extremely angry about his particular case, we should not allow Kevin Crehan to be forgotten.
I’ve always thought that UKIP needed to be far more than a single issue Party, as we have agreed many times on here – but most of what is wrong with Britain has at it’s root two issues, the problems that arise from mass uncontrolled immigration – houses, schools, hospitals/doctors, roads, wages – as well as a patently obvious lack of law and order in society, as evidenced by the increase in stabbings, acid attacks, rape, child trafficking, FGM, and then we have the problems particular to the Muslim communities, lack of integration, Sharia Law, child trafficking and exploitation, child brides, so-called ‘honour’ murders, polygamy. breast ironing and the Burka come to mind. Hardly a single issue, Mr.cowardly Etheridge! In fact I was proud that our UKIP MEP Stuart Agnew addressed some of this yesterday on UKIP Daily – surely all our So-called representatives should be doing the same instead of cowering behind their comfortable mainstream sofas. Apparently all of the above, addressed by Anne Marie, aren’t considered worthy of UKIP attention by the limp-wristed Etheridge and Arnott. I would say more – that they have disgraced UKIP and neither of them are fit to wear a UKIP rosette – UKIP is the People’s Party – not a cheerleader for Piers Morgan and his ilk.
Spot on as usual, Viv. I watched, and timed the so-called ‘interview’ and the total amount of time that Tommy Robinson was allowed to speak without being interrupted or talked over was 5m 22s or in other words 23% of the entire interview time. Whether you like Tommy Robinson or not – that wasn’t a fair interview, just a finger-wagging diatribe. No not diatribe….. RANT, by Piers Morgan. Incidentally it’s still up on FB no matter what ITV have done: https://www.facebook.com/TRAVASTY88/videos/1432190813504356/?fref=mentions
Brilliant, Viv, keep it up because there are few writing as you do and there needs to be more.
LOOK FORWARD WITH ANGER
At best we can expect a doubling of terrorist attacks in the UK in the next 12 months. At the worst – you really dont want to know. I am basing this upon the likely defeat of ISIS in Raqqa and Mosul etc as they are slowly being dislodged by a Syrian Govnt – Russian – Persian alliance. At that juncture I would guess that the message would go out for some spectacular ‘events’ to demonstrate their continued strength.
The liblabcon government has allowed the return of 500 hardened ISIS volunteers who together with their families and clan members (‘baradari’pushtu for clan like English word brotherhood German Brüderbund)
and recruits and sleepers give access to upwards of 5,000 jihadis. They are free to live off welfare and to go where they want and plan what they want notwithstanding GCHQ monitors some of them. That is the equivalent of The wartime coalition government of Churchill allowing two regiments of Waffen SS to infiltrate the big towns of the North of England and to go to ground to fight a guerrilla war. This is High Treason.
It cannot be made clearer that the government has no plan but appeasement and the punishing of people like Tommy Robinson who has the charisma and the cojones to speak the truth.
Both May and Corbyn; who between them captured 80% + of the popular vote; are part of the problem. There is at this moment nobody who is in a position to politically fight and replace them. All this makes me nostalgic for the defeat of Dunkirk (before I was born of course) if only to hear the resolve of the English Welsh Scots and Scotch-Irish saying unitedly NO SURRENDER.
Dear Readers prepare yourself for a bumpy ride.
Thoroughly depressing times Viv. Thank you for the article.
The UKIP MEP Bill Etheridge, who has aspirations of leading our Party, wrote a piece in the daily Mirror this week smearing many of the Party members as ‘Far Right’ (he was backed by Jonathan Arnott MEP). It is bad enough that our political elite and news media promote Islamisation and removal of our freedoms to express ourselves. However, when those who have the privilege of representing the people as UKIP MEPs refer to fellow membes who speak on behalf of the millions who have suffered at the hands of those who submit to Islam, we in UKIP have an existential problem.
Should Bill Etheridge, Jonathan Arnott or other like minded well remunerated, ill-informed cowards continue to hold positions of influence and attempt to stigmatise honourable UKIP members as ‘Far Right’ for standing up for decency and British culture in the face of Islamist barbarity – UKIP will become a destructive cancer in British politics rather than a force for good. We are at a tipping point. UKIP can flourish with outspoken leadership, or it will wither and die as brave moral leaders seek an uncorrupted political vehicle to express what needs to be expressed.
The Party needs a clear out at ‘the top’.
James, I can’t link (because I’m hopeless, there must be an iPad way but I can’t find it) but I sent you by DM what I thought was a wonderful utube piece by David Wood, which I though explains so well why Anne Marie is needed so desperately as UKIP Leader. Briefly, Mr Wood thinks that there are three ways attempted Islamization can go. Capitulation, Information or a bloody war. He says that uniquely, now, we have the Internet and technology tools to inform Muslims about the Koran – many have been kept deliberately uninformed since it’s beginning, and more and more are leaving Islam (at great personal cost, because they are given no help from Government – which tells us a great deal about the Globalist plan). Slowly, networks are building, information is spreading – and we Westerners can help by freeing Muslims in our countries from Sharia and all that goes with it.
Perhaps, if I managed to send it properly, James, you could post it here, for anyone interested.
And the Piers Morgan interview with Tommy Robinson shows the liberal response clearly. We should ‘show some Damn respect’for the islamic scripture raised above Tommy Robinsons head. And presumably the verses contained, as well as the ones Tommy was trying to quote while being shouted down. Gladstone and Churchill become ‘Islamophobic bigots’ viewed from the road that Piers has traveled down.
Spot on Fen.
Piers’ reaction, once his ignorance of Islam had been so graphically exposed, was to attempt to drown out the arguments he could not answer by hurling a barrage of prejudiced, intolerant, totally inaccurate and undeserved insults at Tommy.
Piers is by no means always wrong. But, on this occasion he was pitifully wrong.
Fortunately, as we saw, Tommy is an experienced old hand at dealing with this sort of bigotry.
I don’t believe for one moment the nonesense we are being told.
They, the elite’s wanted to take the focus off muslims,so the liberal fascists can bash us again.
Terrorist my backside…Fall guy ..more like?
We will never get the truth, left, media & islam are working together to destroy us.
All the left have in their locker is screaming those buzzwords, they have no commen sense argument against us.
Pier’s Morgan ,what a disgrace,Tommy came armed with the Koran and they freaked out they had no answers and eveybody saw that.
May is a puppet and a disgrace to the English,
another liberal fascist, masquerading as a con-.
These Dhimmi lunatic’s in power ,we must get them out somehow? We live in a de-facto communist state and any deviation from the narrative will be a thought crime.” George Orwell” We are living it!
We are ruled by “TRAITORS”.
Excellent as always Viv. The frothing at the mouth of the liberal cognoscenti has been excruciating to follow. That idiot of idiots Owen Jones described Finsbury Park as an atrocity.
Will he be censured, lose his job at the Grauniad or his fat ABBC pay packet? Will he hell.
Will Cressida Dick be censured? Will she hell.
We are led by idiots and I really don’t know how it has happened.
