UKIP Gloucestershire held a counter protest in the Regency Spa of Cheltenham on Saturday 14 th April against Cheltenham for Europe’s Action Day in the town. Despite Cheltenham having voted for Remain in the 2016 Referendum support for Brexit was amazing — the biggest complaint was that we ran out of bags in little over an hour — although we had brought over 500 of them! Cheltenham for Europe turned up late, had problems putting up their stand and were outraged that we had the temerity to campaign for the 17.4 million who voted for Leave to be heard, and that we had the cheek and audacity to campaign against a second Referendum —  now euphemistically branded as the “People’s Vote.”

We’re grateful to Lucian Aeris from UKIP Stroud to have given us permission to publish his photos and Brian Cooke for his video.
