    North Devon fisheries: It’s hard to express the lip-curling contempt for a government that does nothing to protect our seas and fishermen while marauding foreign boats take what they like. How far Britain has fallen from its proud tradition of ruling the waves, deciding our own destiny and standing against oppression. It’s disturbing and heart-breaking.

    Let’s hope that the unions do succeed in having their candidate stand in Oldham; it can only help UKIP.

    All we then need to do is paint him as a waycist.

    This is a comment I was trying to post earlier ref Nigel`s appearance on Daily Politics.
    Nigel made a very valid point, equivalent to the West Lothian question.
    “How can the Scottish Nationalists have a vote on independence when they intend to surrender that independence gained to the EU?”
