North Devon fisheries: It’s hard to express the lip-curling contempt for a government that does nothing to protect our seas and fishermen while marauding foreign boats take what they like. How far Britain has fallen from its proud tradition of ruling the waves, deciding our own destiny and standing against oppression. It’s disturbing and heart-breaking.
Let’s hope that the unions do succeed in having their candidate stand in Oldham; it can only help UKIP.
