Voting in the European Parliament goes at breakneck speed, making it hard enough to keep up with the content of each motion. But when amendments to amendments are being proposed and then voted on – and those amendments aren’t listed in any obvious order, our MEPs have no chance of understanding the matter being put to the vote.
