What struck me about this interview was how excited the BBC interviewer got, loud and indignant in defending May’s words with the kind of agitated body language that suggested he wanted to get out of his chair and thump the screen.
Maybe he did want to thump Batten, simply because he’s UKIP and UKIP are not showing sufficient gratitude in welcoming any bone thrown by May to Brexiteers. I do wish that Batten had removed that hateful flag in Strasbourg from our field of vision, or maybe it’s impossible because all their fraudulent flags are riveted down in the expectation of a bonfire one day in the near future.
Trust Theresa? – not on your nelly! She’s not worth the 7 out of 10 Paul Nuttall gave her, unless he was simply counting the number of months that have passed since the referendum while we’re still at the tail end of a snake.
Excellent comment, Ajax. Nothing really to add! (For once!)
When is mass migration from the 2nd & 3rd World into England & Wales being stopped by the Government, & when does it stop paying taxes to the eu’s Treasury?
I might have missed it yesterday, but I heard nothing clarifying these questions, just lots of talk about taking back “control” (no reference to how that control is to be actually used once it’s back), accompanied by a pathetic greek chorus from the conservative media as to how we should all be grateful & cheer this woman May for deigning to do what the Kingdom voted for on June 23, & trying to present it to us as her “vision”.
Keep pressing UKIP’s leadership to ask.
If it needs pressing to do it then something’s wrong with it. Yesterday was a good moment for a UKIP intervention amidst the Conservative media circus’ cynical cheering of May’s carefully worded statement – which was more of interest for what it avoided saying than what it did say – to steal the spotlight & reveal itself as a challenger to the Liblabcon/media order by pointing out its the statement’s inadequacies and potential disingenuous; instead all we got was Nuttall “I give it 7 out of 10”, & Farage (on another ego trip) saying “I can’t believe the PM is using MY WORDS!”. Batten sounded more of the right note above, but it was too elaborate & not dramatically worded enough, so got lost in the hub-bub.
A missed opportunity by UKIP’s leadership.
