Excellent speech, Gerard Barron had me captivated for the whole twenty minutes. He is certainly grown into the job over the past six months, and this and other speeches I have heard are every bit as good as Nigel Farage’s efforts in the past. However, and isn’t there always a however, we or rather the general public out there in the wider world need to be hearing it as well, and all this needs to be said especially at this juncture with the EU negotiations in a state of flux. We need to be banging on about this on a daily basis. Whilst the mainstream media have successfully marginalised the party over the past couple of years as being a party of racists and bigots, which we obviously are not, extra effort needs to be placed on putting out our message on alternative forms of media. At the very least Gerard Battens speeches and those of his spokesman should be on the main UKIP website and on UKIP DAILY, and on You Tube. Some talk a couple of years of there being a possibility of a UKIP TV channel, or was it just Henry Bolton inspired hype. Any as I said at the beginning excellent speech by Gerard Batten, and lets sock it to the mainstream media at the conference later this month.

Good video, and glad I could see it here because I have deleted my facebook account in protest at Zuckerberg! More video on UKIP Daily please.
His speech was very good, as usual from the new leader. But unless we can reach out to the rest of the population, and influence them enough for them to vote for our party, Gerard will be merely preaching to the converted. At present, with the UK’s voter so set in their ways, Ukip can only influence government policy if we make them feel threatened, and to do that we must win votes.
That’s the problem !

Excellent.
With Gerard at the helm we now have the chance to survive and to grow.
I am really hopeful of seeing a continual growth of membership numbers.

I see now that that twerp Arron Banks has finally succeeded in gaining his membership of the conservative party. Only the most weak willed and un-principled Kipper will be tempted to go down that route. In my branch at least, there have have been none that I know of who have joined that moribund party bereft of any real idea. As I keep on saying if huge numbers of brexiteers joined the conservative party, it would be seen as a vote of confidence in the present regime led by quite the worst prime minister this country has had in living memory. Who in the right mind would want to be seen propping up Theresa May, I mean come on the whole concept is laughable………..
Well, he has been long gone from UKIP, so him going off to the conservatives will not affect the short or long term future of UKIP one iota. He did his own legs to be honest and that was before the fracas in the European Union. He could well have been another disaster along with all the other self inflicted catastrophes we have experienced in recent years.
