In Sharia, the worst crime a Muslim can commit is to leave Islam. No ifs or buts – death is the sentence and that is why eight countries at that feted institution, the UN, treat apostasy from Islam as a capital crime. Not something much mentioned at their Human Rights conflabs, but there it is. Better to pass another resolution against the Israelis for shooting violent Hamas agitators than address the genocidal threat against 1.6 billion Muslims contained in the Sharia and reflected in these national statutes.
So, if you are unfortunate enough to be a Muslim in Afghanistan, Brunei, Mauretania, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, the UAE or Yemen, then don’t dare mention you kinda prefer that Jesus guy, or Buddha, or you think you could happily wash your hands of all religion. Best you hold on to that thought before going public. Which, come to think of it, is probably why practically none do. Last time one did in Afghanistan, he was quietly extracted and re-settled in the West. Too embarrassing for us to deal with and demand reform. Reform is not a word the Ulema (Islamic scholars) and the Qadis (judges and lawyers of the Sharia) like to hear. No whiff of innovation need be wafted in the general direction of their favoured 7th century practices.
Nonetheless, doubters there are. How many tens and hundreds of millions we can never know until they have that option to choose – without the fear of finding themselves in some dust-blown square with crowds containing silent fellow sufferers looking on as their head is severed from the rest of their heretical self. Not the way many of us would choose to go.
The Iron Veil of Islam confines its “willing” slaves as covetously as the Soviets once corralled theirs behind their Iron Curtain, as suspiciously as a Dixie plantation owner watched over his, and as profitably as nineteenth century Arab slavers “migrated” tens of thousands of African infidel slaves down the Nile each year. These slave-holders were eventually humbled by the patient, enlightened peoples of the West who attacked the ideology of these barbarous states and fought only where necessary to contain and then squeeze the scheming shacklers.
Leaders today need to understand the ideology driving the apostate-killers and attack that rather than bomb some poor hill peoples’ huts up some remote valley – at prodigious expense. The offensive has to be based on superior thought, not impersonal unconvincing technology. Islam arms its adherents with a terrible fervour and unearthly commitment and can outstay the rest of us as long as its ideology, most comprehensively spelled out in the Sharia, retains its death grip on all Muslims who have reached the age of reason.
The West has a vision, a noble vision of free peoples; free to choose their religion, their politics, their sexuality, but has apparently forgotten how to defend itself from the truly intolerant as it has itself become intolerant of free speech. We must understand how truly great is our society, a culture that evolved over millennia and was handed down to us by bloodied hands for us to improve upon, not to throw away over some lefty dystopian chimera. We have to fight to defend those rights earned over centuries or continue the coward’s slouch towards the civilizational abyss.
And what is the West doing about it right now? What are we doing to defend the first and greatest liberty wrung by Luther from the grasping hands of the masters as he stood alone before them and declared, “Here I stand, I can do no other”?
Who stands now for the terrified apostates of Islam in this supposedly free state? Who hears their cry? No Luther, no Latimer and Ridley, no Cromwell, no Wilberforce. Not a peep from the elite. But down in the ‘burbs there are stirrings. The Tommies of this world are forgotten but have not forgotten, and from within their ranks they are finding a voice and their own Tommy to lead the way.
O it’s Tommy this, an’ Tommy that, an’ “Tommy, go away”;
But it’s “Thank you, Mister Atkins”, when the band begins to play
Tommy will battle, Tommy will fight for his sacred rights. His efforts will be disparaged when victory is won and the bands play, but he knows, he knows with unerring certainty that without him his country and our civilization is lost. The bomber boys and the merchant marine took the blows, saved European civilization and, though slighted, went back to their Jerusalems to build something better in our bomb-scarred but still free land. When we have won this one too, as we certainly will, our Tommies will again turn quietly for home and wring what they can from fate.
The forces have been arrayed and the keep which the more wild-eyed products of the madrassas will defend to the death is the Sharia, the foundation of the faith. And within their keep, in the great hall hangs their black flag, their most venerated object. And stitched into this dark banner is the law which guarantees their commitment and their numbers – kill apostates.
It is that flag that must be wrested from the wizened hands of the Ulema, the barbaric law unpicked from the cloth and Article 18 of the UN Declaration of Human Rights guaranteeing freedom of conscience weaved in its place. It can then be rehung in the great hall of the keep to be venerated as it was of old. But by a reforming Islam, one in which its followers can call for innovation and come and go – as they please.
Until that day Islam remains a civilisation apart, a totalitarian relic.
The author of this disgustingly and deplorably accurate piece, and some of the commenters, are liable to be arrested for a hate crime.
Even where the wording is not criminal, if some “victim” or any other reader or other person perceives them (no justification is necessary) to have been motivated by racial or religious hatred, a hate incident *shall* be recorded, and – this is the “best” bit – that motivation may itself comprise a crime, irrespective of the first clause of this sentence.
The lunatics have been running the asylum for a while, and the above comes from the official guidance to police and prosecutors.
A further effect of such evil or craziness is that few good, intelligent people remain in either service. How could they hack it?
The Labour vote held up pretty well despite the anti-Semitism, except in the areas with a larger Jewish population.
In the long term the demographics are on the side of Labour. I notice that a Conservative candidate was suspended for “Islamophobic tweets”. The Conservatives are useless in the battle against Islam.

BTW I am still experiencing technical difficulties with UKIP Daily. It works fine on my new laptop with the latest Chrome 64 bits. However it does not work properly using Microsoft Edge on the same laptop. It also does not work properly on an old PC with Internet Explorer. The home page is OK, however about half the articles have formatting problems.
Thank you Poacher, personally I look forward to the “Legalise Apostasy” and imagine that UKIP will help in large numbers.
Not long to wait now, Margaret. Everything is ready but we are lining up some well-known folk to be the first to sign the petition to the government. Should be ready this month. By focusing on one matter, as UKIP really did with the EU, we can bring on another revolution and defend the freedoms we all love. Try locking people up or intimidating them for calling for freedom of conscience. Forget attacking Islam. The Sharia is a law code and as such is a free-fire zone. Keep the target in the cross-hairs and let rip.
Allah is so much greater than we humans, and his intentions are than we should live peacefully and co-exist at all times.
There should be no slaves, subjugated women, or second class citizens, and any warfare is is the instigation of Satan, the Devil, with both his intended or unintended followers.
Our motto shoyld be ‘Pax tecum – peace be with you’ and we should all act accordingly.
Allah is satan
I had a depressing experience last night, I’d been to a meeting and got chatting to an Eastern European that fled Europe at the time of the crisis there.
We got chatting about the situation in Europe and he said: “this situation is going to end in disaster, the smart people should get out now.”
Of course he’s been through this before and can see the writing on the wall. Any political solutions to what has happened is now far too late. It’s strange, I’ve heard the same thing from people all over the world that think we’re completely mad to allow this Muslim invasion, why can everybody around the world see this, yet our politicians can’t or simply refuse to see it.
I suppose that was the final confirmation I needed, I’m going to get my family in the UK out of there, even if I do return myself.
It’s not so much Islam I have a problem with, they’re just opportunists, they’re just doing what they do, the people I despise are a our mainstream politicians for selling us out like this, the blood of your families and loved ones will be on their hands.
Get them out, Flyer – and then come back yourself when, not if, we need you. Things are going downhill very rapidly now. It’s not good hoping for the best. We have Muslim mayors in almost all our major cities now, we have an enabling Government and an enabling opposition. Europe may have some chance. The UK. imo, has none, truthfully.
I know a lot of people who think moving will solve things for them. I suppose those who came here from hell-holes thought they would be fine here. Moving hasn’t helped them. Running away will not solve this. I was abroad for many years but understood I make my stand here, where my ancestors lived and earned our freedoms. So, let’s cut out the defeatist chatter and think about how we win. That’s it. Plan to win, then act. Everything else is superfluous. My thoughts, not necessarily easy, but facing the problem brings clarity and energy.
We need to “White Flight” back to our original places which will displace some that are against us. Moving into the countryside is destroying our agricultural land, green areas, the trees and the wildlife it supports. What they hope for is no longer available for our island but, in particular, overcrowded England.
It is a sobering thought that all the bible lands and beyond were populated by a wide diversity of tribes with a wealth of ancient cultures and religions before Islam made its appearance.
Just think; Jesus himself walked upon those very lands during his mission of spreading the word of love.
If today’s Muslims look far enough back, they will find, whether they like it or not, that they are the descendants of conquered non-muslim peoples. Islam was and is spread by the sword and coercion and is maintained today by fear, coercion and or indoctrination – as The Poacher so eloquently says.
Islam will continue to threaten our existence as a functioning Christian democracy unless it undergoes a reformation. This is unlikely to happen anytime soon, since most of its leaders are of the view that it is perfectly fit for purpose as it is, in that model has been devastatingly effective to date so why fix what’s not broken!
Yes, I do too have a smattering of pity for those who might be trapped in the faith (whether by accident of birth or otherwise); but my greatest concern is that we, in this country, acknowledge Islam’s age old ambitions and match them with determined and strategic measures to ensure the supremacy of our Western Christian heritage.
Thank you, The Poacher, for a very good essay and for stimulating thoughtful discussion on this matter.
I am glad also that Gerard Batten has a deep understanding and appreciation of the issues, and what’s more is prepared to articulate and disseminate them. It might be unpalatable to some – but then the truth often is.
There are a number of points which you draw attention to that in my opinion are good. Among them are:-
The recognition of our amazing past the struggle the sacrifice and perseverance that our ancestors have suffered to get us where we are today. Surely we cannot waste our cultural inheritance? There is more to be achieved we can’t afford to be going backwards.
An acceptance that there are many people trapped in an ideology that should not be allowed to exist in a civilized society. By pinpointing this one aspect of the cult in Apostasy you have found an Achilles heel. There are others in this deceitful ideology, gender discrimination for one example. But yours is such a good one.
The complicity of Labour and the Conservatives in this scandalous behaviour in our country of this rogue ideology. How could they be so bad, such betrayal, such treason. As though attempting to give our sovereignty away was not enough they have allowed an ideology to fester and provide the means to destroy our culture from within. Can we ever forgive them? I think not.
The way in which you have written the article. You have shown that it is possible to counter that harm with simple and straightforward common sense. The Left have been corrupting our language for some time with subtle changes to definitions. Half-truths and lies, gradually so as to bend the perception of the public. Infiltrating our institutions and perverting society for their own Fabian and Marxist Ideological ends.
But finally the few words you put in towards the end, “When we have won this one too, as we certainly will”. Yes we will!
Thank you, I think your article is great. A regret would be that the groups that oppose the destruction of our way of life, in various ways, seemingly cannot work together. If only they could get over their egotism and tribalism, I suspect they will have to eventually.
Kim the fact that such an article as this can be published on UKIPD and people not afraid to comment shows that people are stiffening that upper lip and joining the battle, albeit in spirit.
Hopefully such articles will become normal, at least within UKIP.
Parapets and tops of people’s heads, my friend.
A brilliant article and a great comment. Your final paragraph is so relevant, if we don’t defeat this ideology by any means necessary, we will have nothing. We must organise and work together.
Thanks for the compliments. The apostasy laws of Islam reflected in the Sharia are the most vulnerable point in their armour. They can be attacked in the UN by focusing on the 8 countries with such laws committing them to kill apostates from Islam. The left and the other apologists and fellow travelers cannot defend them. By attacking laws and not their holy book etc, we have a set of laws which cannot be defended with the usual trope of, “but the bible says this…”. This is the flank that is totally exposed to unremitting attack and which they cannot defend without exposing the truth about the religion of peace…
Which is exactly why the Government and Police turn a blind eye to apostates being threatened. They must be kept quiet, and the exponents of the peaceful religion are ideal tools.
That is correct. That is why the Legalise Apostasy campaign will focus on this one issue and be fronted by former Muslims who have been attacked and threatened for their apostasy. Doing nothing is not an option. Better gallons of sweat now, rather than pints of blood later. Time to march on the Embassies of the apostate-killers – educate the voters, attack the deceivers and don’t let up.
> retains its death grip on all Muslims who have reached the age of reason.
And what applies to those who aren’t equipped to ever reach such an age? 😐
Eh?
Not long after I was born, I was ‘christened’ by my parents into the Church Of England faith. Although my family wasn’t particularly religious, once I was old enough to make up my own mind, I decided that religion was a load of nonsense and became something of an atheist. While I have my own views on the absurdity of religions, I bear no ill-will to those who follow particular faiths, as long as they don’t try and force them on me.
In that first paragraph you’ll notice some key phrases. I was born as a Christian (decided by my parents). I made up my own mind (to leave the faith). I am no longer a Christian. I’ll respect and let others follow their beliefs as long as they don’t force them on me. My life has continued without fear.
That is the difference with Islam. None of the above apply. You’re born a Muslim (not your choice) and if you try to make up your own mind and leave that faith, you’re faced with a death sentence. Hardly freedom of choice.
I do indeed wonder just how many so-called Muslims would happily give it all up if they didn’t face being apostates to be punished. “Fear” is a very powerful weapon, especially when used in the wrong hands.
As commented below, religion should be a matter of choice, not a demand to obey.
Excellent excellent, well done “Poacher” (whoever you are!).
And I think that your singling out and focussing on the dreadful doctrine of “Death for Apostasy” is the best way of campaigning to turn back the tide of Islamisation of Britain.
One of the most worrying things about the way our society is (not) dealing with this awful problem is the (deliberate) confusion created in the minds of many between RACE and RELIGION. Unless this is sorted out and clarified in people’s minds, we risk a bloody and barbaric civil war.
Even Parliament perpetuated this confusion by passing an Act criminalising those who “foment racial-and-religious hatred”. So if you criticise Islam you are criminalised as a “racist”. EVEN BY PEOPLE ON OUR SIDE!
Tommy Robinson – (he seems a reincarnation of the Tommy Atkins of Kipling’s poem!) – who fights against the Islamisation of Britain, is called a “racist” by the authorities, when he is nothing of the sort, and has campaigned only against the worst practices of a religion – Islam. And I regret to say that the headline over Nigel’s article in the Telegraph supporting Bolton for leader of UKIP read “Racists nearly destroyed UKIP…” referring of course to Anne-Marie Waters’s bid for the leadership. A defamation of Waters, who has only ever campaigned against Islam, and has had people of other races among her supporters.
This confusion plays into the hands of our enemies:
– It helps the Islamists who can say that their critics are “racists” ie fascists, nazis or worse;
– It helps the real racists, those who wish to stir up trouble and turn it into a civil war along racial lines, of black and brown against white. They will point to the fact that most Muslims happen to be brown-skinned to make all people of colour into the “enemy”, the people who are threatening “white” civilisation.
I am afraid that it was Enoch Powell’s failure to make this clear distinction that led to his isolation and demonisation.
After all, it is manifestly unfair to discriminate against somebody because of the colour of his or her skin.
But it is perfectly fair to campaign against an ideology or a religion that kills those of its adherents who abandon it.
Anne Marie of course went on to form a party dedicated to helping people leave islam, who had no-one else to turn to. UKIP haven’t helped them and there’s no sign they ever will, despite the hesitant anti-islam comments by this month’s UKIP leader.
Rob Pearce, promoting ‘For Britain’ on UKIP Daily is tolerable, however slagging off Gerard Batten is a bit much.
Personally I say he is doing a great job for UKIP and the cause of an independent UK. I have not detected any hesitancy in his interviews with trapping media.
No one has yet, to any reasonable degree, answered my simple question as to why it was felt necessary to start another party with a similar name to “Britain First”. The closest answer I received was that there was a candidate for leader supporting video made by Anne Marie Waters called “For Britain” during her campaign.
It still however does not explain the similarity of names with “Britain First” and why she and many others did not simply join “Britain First” rather than start up yet another party. Does AMW et al hold an opinion that “Britain First” is not PC enough for them ? Their commitment has led to their incarceration and now they have another overlapping party to deal with as well.
Gerard Batten has suddenly decided it’s ok to be seen with Tommy Robinson. This is the same Mr Batten who, during the UKIP leadership campaign, told Anne Marie NOT to be seen with him. Now it’s ok. Awesome. Better late than never.
Britain First are reputedly the people who inspired the murderer of Joe Cox, so let’s not get too nasty here shall we.
Religions that demand we obey are intrinsically wrong. Growing up with the Catholic Church where you can sin all week and your sins are forgiven on Sunday. The Church of England where the scented smoke from swinging sensors, and the wonderful singing of chants and hymns ringing in the lofty cloisters. Where superior beings in fancy dress and hats paraded slowly before you to take their exalted position over you.
Then there was my religious upbringing in Methodism, plain men in a plain church standing upright and acting as rightous pillars of a more enlightened but yet religious society. Combining mammon with godliness.
All have shown they are but attempts to control and direct their population into believing it is correct to follow their instructions and rules of living. Many of their instructors have been shown to have feet of clay and have taken advantage of an ignorant and fearing populace. The gift of religious belief is held by few these days and therefore I do not fear the attempts by Sharia law to suborn our secular society, I actually pity those that have fallen into the obvious misogynistic and self important roles of Imams or priests trying desperately to hold onto power through a primitive concept long since fallen into disrepute.
The dying man or woman may cry for god but I believe that your mother is the fount of life and the one we all in the end cry for.
As a veteran Tommy myself I can have sympathy with all religious views where they do no harm, but encouraging violence and threatening people for not believing is no way to behave in todays society.
Thank you for a splendid article !
Thank you for the compliment. I have been struggling to put my thoughts into the right words for some time, and this has definitely been the most satisfying piece of work that I have completed. The Legalise Apostasy campaign starts shortly and it will be fronted by a well-known apostate. The barricades lie before us and storm them we will. As we used to say – Wait, out.
Dear Poacher – what a truly wonderful article, both the sentiment and the words with which the sentiment is crafted. Thank you.
And you are right – just as the left enslaves black people in their perceived and useful ‘victimhood’ – so they enslave those unwilling servants of Allah born into the ‘faith’ – and I include of course the Tories in that. No help for apostates here in the UK – Sharia Law, it is hoped, will be far too useful in the future.
You are also right that the saving of the UK will come, if it comes at all, from our wonderful sons of England. But it won’t come easily.
Thanks for the compliment. Unfortunately it seems that there has never been a real time of ease in which mankind could just kick back and relax. If I remember correctly, the only year in which the British Army has not had soldiers on operations over the last 3 centuries, was the single year of 1968 or 69. So, we gird ourselves once more and head towards the sound of the guns. May and the rest of the numpties will be discarded soon enough, and those with steel in their spines will replace the cowards and do what needs done.
” Until that day Islam remains a civilisation apart, a totalitarian relic.”
Bravo Poacher, a sentiment wonderfully expressed.
Thank you too. I have nothing left in the tank with regards to addressing the evils of the apostasy-killers. This article says all I need to say. From here on in the targets are the Islamic lawyers in Al Azhar “university” in Cairo – if you can call an institute that supports killing apostates a seat of learning.
When all we hear is the mantra of “tolerance”, I saw how very intolerant and cruel that system is, how the wealthy Saudis do little work and regard the westerners and others who build, train and operate things, as dhimmi and the so-called “process of Saudi-isation” as a rather pointless exercise, since – as many said to me with an amused look – when the oil runs out and the western workers leave, “we will just return to the desert as bedouin as we have always been (or go and live in Europe or the States with our riches)”; how upon boarding an airline and leaving Saudi airspace the veils are torn off (by many) to reveal lavish adornings of jewellery, this is not to say that the vet is not promptly replaced on landing somewhere, after all, a woman is a man’s property; I saw how men walk a dozen paces ahead of their wives who struggle along in searing heat; how under Sharia, a woman can in reality be worth less than a camel (I had had a good friend who was killed by a grenade while working for the World Bank, I think it was in a hotel lobby in Jordan, which has Sharia courts with jurisdiction over Diya (blood money in cases of crime) and her parents were offered: reprieve, or execution for the malfeasant, or blood money. They did not want any of these. And much more. And find myself wondering, watching video footage of the happy Edwardians, or of the 50s and 60s, how that clueless Mrs May can think that this is “enriching” to British culture in any way at all.
Very interesting thank you; I worked in Saudi Arabia (not on a Western “compound” but in the centre of Riyadh, for a year, living alongside Arabs, Egyptians, Iranians and Iraqis, and got a good understanding of how Sharia feels and works in private and in public. Being lucky enough to be invited within the homes of one or two Saudis (an almost unheard-of act of openness towards much-envied/despised Westerners generally) I saw a great deal of their interactions; how the domestics are treated; how wives seem to be on permanent medication to stave off the madness of a permanent and intolerable isolation that makes the lot borne by the fairer sex in – say – Victorian times as lamented by our writers – seem positively joyful; how acts of generosity are always considered to be quid pro quo arrangements; how careless treatment of children that may lead to accidents or death (an instance was a hole-in-the-heart condition child who was left to go swimming totally without supervision – by wealthy parents – in a condo pool and eventually drowned in it) is regarded as “allahs’ will”; how the muttawah will scream at women in public and send them home if an ankle is showing, tapping at their legs as they go, like goatherds, or even pushing them; how a building that quite by accident displayed architectural designs resembling the shape of a cross, would be surrounded by outraged religious police who forced the authorities to tear it down; how practising Christians (naturally no Buddhists, Hindus, Pagans or Jews are even allowed to set foot in that supremely holy land!) are told to pray “away from where they can be seen by others”!
Possibly, one of the greatest obstacles of putting forward a united front against the Islamification of the UK is that there are still places for our middle classes to run to and still maintain their cultural and financial status. It is easier to stick your head in the sand and join the white flighters than commit time and energy to culture wars.
Tommy Atkins will only be called for when the middle classes comfort zone is threatened. Maybe this time around he will say, ……you. Could you blame him?
Still places for the middle class to run and hide – and don’t we know it in the villages in Green Belt areas threatened with huge new conurbations, with our distinct communities being swallowed into a suburbia, which in London will extend to the South coast in Essex, Kent & Sussex as the ‘middle class’ migrate out of their blighted cities to blight our countryside with concrete and traffic jams
Jake
It is the academics and elites ably supported by the middle classes that have led us to where we are. Where are they going to go and still maintain all that they hold dear (and it’s not their heritage, culture and descendants)? They will eventually be consumed with the rest of us if we don’t prevail. They will not form part of the solution unless they wake up soon, if ever and until that time will be regarded as part of the enemy to be fought if it comes to it. The solution will come from the bottom up and I think Tommy Atkins will be part of that solution. I am intrigued by the new Democrats and Veterans Party, the Veterans and Peoples Party and of course we have the Veterans Against Terrorism. We should be discussing common ground with them.
Coming from a family of Tommy Atkins I would agree that I would not step forward to support the current crop of leaders. However, this can all swivel on a sixpence when the right leader steps up – and when we are independent again. We must secure Brexit and break from the grasp of the EU and its disgraceful coterie of Clunkers. Merkel will go down in European history as one of its most monumental fools – and she is just one of the many recently added names on that roll-call…
Thank you Poacher; I hope that you post your article far and wide. As for the UN it has become the enemy and must be de-funded.
The UN is now under the control of Islamic nations, many of whom have Sharia law, and its present course of direction is not compatible with Western values of democracy and any reasonable form of government. We should close down our membership – apparently Trump is considering sending them somewhere else.
Thanks. I could not agree more.
