We’ve been asked to publish the following invitation since it may be of interest to our readers:

After David Cameron announced the referendum would be held on 23rd June we decided to postpone our planned trip to Strasbourg in May this year so everyone could concentrate on helping UKIP win what is the most important vote in this country for 40 years and become an independent country once again.

We have re-arranged it for September, since, even in the increasingly likely event of a Leave vote, under the tortuous Article 50 provisions for leaving the EU we will still be members for some time – so why not join us for what may be your last chance to see the EU Parliament and enjoy a pleasant trip with congenial company to delightful Alsace?

These trips are open to all and everyone is welcome – so if you have non-UKIP friends or family who are interested, please encourage them to come along and see the EU Parliament ‘at work’ in all its vainglorious splendour!
