One of Hampshire’s summer 2014 highlights is the inaugural South Downs Show which is being held over the three days of the August Bank Holiday weekend at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park.
The East Hampshire Branch of UKIP will be out in force with its own stand at the Show and will be using the UKIP’s double decker “battlebus” as the centrepiece of its presence.
Everyone is welcome to drop by for a chat, a discussion or just to pick up information on our policies and our common sense approach to politics.
The Branch will also be trialling an innovative attraction for potential new members. If they decide to join during the show they will have their entrance fee of £7 refunded.
Local Parliamentary Candidate Peter Baillie who will be fighting next year’s General Election on behalf of UKIP will be “on duty” with other activists from the East Hampshire Branch.
Branch Chairman David Alexander, Parliamentary Candidate for the neighbouring Meon Valley constituency, said: “UKIP has a very active presence in East Hampshire and throughout the rest of the County.
“Our stand at the South Downs Show will give visitors a great opportunity to come and meet us in person. We’re particularly pleased that our membership secretary Scott Cross has acquired the UKIP bus which will make the UKIP presence difficult to overlook. So, if you plan to be at the show why not make a date with UKIP.”
