Appeal for the National Alliance Against Lockdowns
The recent actions of the government have shown that their policies of lockdown restrictions will continue until March and beyond.
Their lockdown policies have wreaked havoc on the economy, destroyed thousands of businesses and millions of jobs. Billions in unnecessary expenditure have been spent, creating a massive national debt.
The health of the nation has suffered too, with other conditions and diseases being considered not as important as covid-19.
The government has essentially treated the British public with huge contempt, and has ridden roughshod over any consideration for their feelings.
Unless something is done, the situation will become worse and yet worse for the citizens of this country.
The time has now come for the British public to rise up and insist on no more deplorable treatment.
No more being taken for granted. No more being duped by the government propaganda machine which somehow manages to influence virtually every media outlet in the country.
There are over 70 organisations, a number of small political parties, and numerous individuals, who, since the imposition of the first lockdown in March, have been valiantly campaigning against lockdowns.
They have achieved a little, but nowhere near enough to stop the onslaught of the government’s lockdown restrictions.
The only way that this can be stopped in its tracks and reversed, is for all those who have been campaigning against lockdowns to work together to achieve this objective.
When the country has had single issues such as those decided by referenda, it is common for different groups to work together under one banner.
The same must be done on the issue of lockdowns, and thus the National Alliance ( for freedom from lockdowns) has been set up.
This body aims to provide coordination for all those involved in the anti-lockdown movement, the organisations, the parties, the MP’s, the medical and other professionals, the media, and of course a huge proportion of the British public.
The National Alliance has already been proactive and been contacting many interested parties and individuals, and the initiative is seen as both well overdue and popular.
This process continues and the coordinators have asked for organisations and individuals to contact them directly, rather than wait to be contacted, as time is of the essence.
The National Alliance intends to be supportive of the activities of existing organisations, as well as to organise its own, where it is seen as advantageous to do so.
The spirit of working together will increase the strength and effectiveness of the campaign.
The government will find itself under pressure on all fronts.
The tables will be turned. The government will be on defensive and will have to retreat on their lockdown policies.
Any opposition politicians who support them will be called to account.
The same will apply to those at local authority and police level who have effectively suppressed local businesses and communities.
The National Alliance, by working together, will ensure no stone is left unturned in this fight.
It will be bristling with campaign initiatives and will be aspirational, forging the best of the British public, all ages, all races, all backgrounds, all united for a common cause, that of freedom.
There will also be the insistence of equal media coverage to that given to the pro-lockdown side.
We are building up a panel of people able to speak on all the covid-19 and lockdown subjects, so that we can offer them for all media contributions.
Yes, there are two sides in this, as in a referendum, and so far those who believe in freedom from lockdowns have not had their fair and proper say.
In order to be successful this campaign needs funds, as we need to build up a professional and politically credible organisation. So if you are able to make a donation, please say so when you get in touch.
So please, contact National Alliance, and stand proud under the banner for freedom.
You will be standing up for the whole of the UK.

I am against lockdown for many reasons. Not all of them !00% rational. But lets’s list them.United Nations were too quick off the mark. Just one Chinese city was sacrified,The shape of the effects was too convenient. Test and Trace was obviously a diversion. The obvious responses to the statistical response to it was not rational. The medical proffession response was wrong. Boris and others initial response was rational, but once infected was erratic. and irrational. Something changed.. Right thats the early days thought about.
Since.
Hospital. One cannot fail to notice hospital wards are not busy.. Why the chaotic and clearly intentional distraction of destroying the statistical bases to Testing, Cases, Tiny irrational statical foolishnesses.and other tricks to destroy the map. There is clearly no intention of releasing any useful information at all.Dissenting voices are not publicised and the media is clearly discouraged from divergence.
There are many smaller and large inconsistencies that i have noted but take too long to list. Find your own.
Conclusion.
We are being managed. Why or by whom orfor when, or even how, I don’t know. But the evidence is clear .. It cannot be accidental.and is being fed.
The anti lockdown brigade have done themselves no favours over the months. The movements have attracted the fools who believe the virus is a hoax as well as those who have insisted it is no worse than flu. And the anti- vaxxer crew, the mask refusniks.
It makes it all the more difficult for those who would argue that we must pull out all the stops to avoid more lockdowns, with the devastating effect on the economy and the jobs in hospitality and various other services.
Nor is it acceptable to argue that only the old and infirm die – yes, the numbers for whom it is fatal are lower in younger age groups but it’s not just about death, this virus has long term health inplications for a proportion of all age groups. We should also remember that medics have learned from earlier cases and are now able to save more lives – how many more would have died without the first lockdown. (And yes, I believe it could have been avoided with prompt action and better management of testing – but aviation and tourism were always going to take a massive hit)
So how do we avoid lockdown? The anti maskers and ‘herd immunity’ crew aren’t going to like it – because we need to control the opportunities for the virus to spread while minimising the restraints on people’s usual activities. Yes, it means wearing a mask in indoor public space, it means hand sanitising, it means minimising close contact. Do it voluntarily, as the Swedes did in the beginning, and we won’t need to be told to do it.
This still isn’t enough – cheap, readily available, rapid tests and ventilation are also essential risk management tools. One Surrey school is now employing a UV robot to patrol the corridors after school finishes for the day, airports have taken similar measures. The Government has, very belatedly, advised open windows for air circulation.
Can we do this? Yes, I believe we can but it won’t satisfy the zealots who still think the pandemic is all a hoax
The voice of reason.! Very worrying. Dangerous too Also,.Extremists do get things done.
TG Spokes Hee hee and hear hear. I don’t like the aggressive tone of her article.
How does she know what the “Anti Brigade” would or wouldn’t like? By all means do these things on a voluntary basis, we won’t mind. We’re not bullies like some.
Admittedly some of the “Anti brigade” could present their case better. Although in the light of all the Govt lies, fiddling, disproportionality and self interest they can be forgiven for thinking it may be a hoax.
But to balance things up a bit, why doesnt she mention that the proposed vaccine too could, will in many cases, cause serious longterm effects ? There’s evidence out there that the MHRA are actually expecting this and various parties are rushing to indemnify themselves.
Rather than dismiss as antivaxers those who are very justifiably concerned?
This is relevant you know, as I can’t accept that these recent “punishments” aren’t largely to soften us up for compulsory vaccination, to be eventually enforced with brutal methods .
And for balance’s sake, why not discuss the studies challenging efficacy of masks , or ask why these have been suppressed?
A group of selfish, idiot whingers. Lockdown is vitally necessary.
Sweden has had a lower death rate from Covid-19 without any lockdowns.
What we are really fighting – the 12 point plan to totalitarianism:
https://twitter.com/nwoarchive/status/1314285550409527297?lang=en
Covid-19 very rarely kills anyone who is not aged or infirm or both…….So why impose these lockdowns on the healthy majority?
Lockdowns are destroying the jobs of previously solid citizens in western countries, creating millions of destitute proletarians who can be exploited by corporate employers in the future……….Is that the true purpose of these lockdowns?
It seems to me that people are becoming distracted with arguments about how ”severe” a lockdown is, if it should be here and not there, if pubs should be exempt, if some people should be muzzled, etc.
We should just be hammering home the fact that THERE SHOULD BE NO LOCKDOWNS. Not at the moment, not ever. There is no need, there is no excuse, figures of ”positives” are possibly manipulated (and how would we know?) and hospitals are as normal for this time of year.
I do wish people would stop discussing the details of these measures rather than simply shouting about the outrage of the very existence of those unscrutinised and arbitrary ‘rules’.
The lockdowns are nothing to do with virus, but everything to do with the Reset.
I just read the story in Lockdown Sceptics today 28/11 about Helen Jeremy who has now gone blind because she couldnt get treatment because of lockdown? One of many doubtless.
Oh well she’s old and doesn’t matter I suppose. And I’m a selfish idiot whinger saying that………..
Yes heartbreaking isn’t it, so unnecessary and it will be just another ignored/forgotten statistic to the scum that run this country.
My reaction to it was to say to my wife ” we should ALL march on the HoC and hang them all from lamposts”. To her remark about the NHS that allowed it, my retort was “we’ll start with the top layer of management….”
This has got to stop.
Anyone who supports lockdowns or this government deserve what’s coming to them Getting rid of Bumbling joke Boris and Hancock should be a top goal https://www.remove-the-tory-government.org
Johnson and Hancock are no “joke”. For some years before I left the UNconservative Party, I noted too many at the top had no idea about individual liberty, the essential part in freedom played by free enterprise and now free speech.
These janus-faced usurpers of power are no joke. They must be expelled, preferably before the next election.
If the National Alliance Against Lockdowns can help in this, I shall be with them.
”The next election….” That phrase is becoming more and more like a whimper in the dark rather than a beacon of hope for the future.
Why on earth would this bunch allow us to vote them out? Remember what Orwell said: ”We know that no one ever seizes power with the intention of relinquishing it. Power is not a means; it is an end.” They’re not going to go just because we don’t like them any more.
The unreformed EU Arrest Warrant will allow them to get anyone they don’t like arbitrarily extradited and jailed. Including politicians who are a real challenge to them. That’s why, doubtless, pleas to reform the EU Arrest Warrant arrangement (to observe due process) has always fallen on their deaf ears.
As I’ve told some of my relatives who think government is good and we should all obey and ‘stop making trouble’.
Agree, very true. Especially first sentence. Hope HA is listening. $$£%^ &^*$ .
David Frost said:
“We are working to get a deal, but the only one that’s possible is one that is compatible with our sovereignty and takes back control of our laws, our trade, and our waters. That has been our consistent position from the start and I (not we) will not be changing it,” he wrote.
But this article asks, “is this the Government’s position, or is it Lord Frost’s, which many suspect of being rather more hardline than that of the Prime Minister?”
Clause 38 of the WA requires that UK sovereignty shall not be compromised, but how much ground is BJ prepared to cede on sovereignty, in order to secure a free-trade deal with the EU?
This article attempts to make an economic case for accepting continued compliance with the E.U. rule book (level playing field). It proposes to trade off sovereignty for short term economic benefit.
But once again it neglects the cost of compliance – estimated at over £100bn pa (6 to 7% of GDP) by Gordon Brown and a few other reputable sources.
Yes there will be temporary teething problems from a WTO exit but they will be far outweighed by the long term potential benefits.
But regardless of that, many voted to leave as a free sovereign nation – not to be left half in half out of the E.U. Sovereignty is not negotiable.
So Boris, do not allow Frostie to be undermined by E.U. Quislings. Back him to the hilt and get Brexit done – properly.
Since the WA includes toxic clauses – which would undermine UK sovereignty – it will clearly have to be dumped.

“Take back control of our laws”. I hope this means that the extradition treaty that replaces the EU Arrest Warrant is reformed so that we can’t be arrested and extradited without evidence of wrongdoing?
Too much to ask of this %$&(£$ government, I suppose?
https://campaignforanindependentbritain.org.uk/civil-liberties-at-risk-in-forthcoming-uk-eu-security-deal/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=civil-liberties-at-risk-in-forthcoming-uk-eu-security-deal
Who among TPTB apart from Lord Pearson has raised this issue lately? Nigel Farage, whose former party UKIP once campaigned considerably on this issue? Steve Baker or Mogg, who have always “championed” civil liberties? I dont remember them saying anything about it at all.
Roger, the second paragraph of your comment above reads as follows :
… But this article asks, “is this the Government’s position, or is it Lord Frost’s, which many suspect of being rather more hardline than that of the Prime Minister?”….
Well no Roger, this article above (about the National Alliance Against Lockdowns) asks no such thing. Surely you meant this comment for a different article in Independence Daily. Which article was it?
OK Roger, you meant your comment to be about the Telegraph article, the link to which you gave at the end of your comment. But how is that Telegraph article relevant to the National Alliance Against Lockdowns?
All right Anthony, You are on a right track. But Nigel has already claimed that one..Anyway,. I think you have got it wrong. What the ordinary bloke like me is looking for ( In spite of, or maybe because of, UKIPs idiotic ambitions ), is a PROTEST PARTY to bring together and strengthen all the different strands of which Lockdown is but a single strand. So you have the name wrong for a start.. And for a manager ( Not leader ) you need someone to manage a bunch of individualists and their valid protests under a common flag, whilest giving each an individual income stream. Whilest making the “Gotcha ” interviewers work to do.under one invisible Managing stream whilest gaining experience and support for all with all the usual but visible bureaucratic crap with zero executive authority..
Just think about it. Batten saw it but chose wrong idea and name ( I ask you , A political party from scratch.with one leader ?, especially run by a committee )( Just like the nearly defunct Labour party.)( and to some exetent the crony party ) Which remain in power by buying the candidates. and footsoldiers.( Councillors ) UKIPs main step to success..
The Protest Leader Like Hookem and fish, was a perfect test. Battens next, was , I believe, going to be Islam ( In my view Tommy Robinson was OK but would have been much better as a help to a lady such as Jane Bishop ( I think ) or Anne Marie, pushing a Female Equality protest. (But as usual NEC blundering about ). A non controversial Managing Director for managing the umbrella company Organisation and bureaocracy and money ( Already exists ) could have easily avoided the nec nonsense.
TG Spokes, as for the above diatribe, dear oh dear, there’s no hope. In short what a load of umbrellas……..
TG Spokes, you’ve been very good of late by not constantly mentioning UKIP and its connection to ‘committees’ and ‘NEC’s’ I ask why even mention UKIP at all, the party has had its day, its a busted flush and utterly irrelevant now, besides which it has been superseded by The Brexit Party/Reform UK, and that is the party which we all now need to get behind to have any hope of overturning the political charade that is being played out on the national stage. I was actually in agreeance with you in your first paragraph, but then I thought when I read on, not that old chestnut again……
I ‘m sorry Colin but I never supported a political party before. And, a lot of oldies like me are the same. I think there is a huge amount of recognition of UKIP and Nigel and a large rump of ex organisers and branches like ours angry and in the wilderness. Who would, if given ahint of dropping the NEC, which it is recognised caused ( for whatever reason ) it’s self destruction,, re-appear.
I believe a credible put together organisation to take over that base, which however small , is still there. But it has to be without all the destroyers that my researches say are still there. Brexit was largely Nigel the the voters and branches achievenment… Many many good people are still there to give backbone to the newer . And it is still there in Boris’s majority. They are not conservatives or Labour or lib dem. They are just not visible. But they are there for the proper carrot.
Any way, that’s what I believe. I don’t suppose it clarifies anything. And I also believe they would come out in billions given a valid Protest Party ( Nigel clearly feels the same with reforms ,)
TG Spokes, I think you have answered your own question here, it best to go along with The Brexit Party, which I am sure you must be aware is led by Nigel Farage, the same Nigel Farage who led UKIP. As a former branch chairman of UKIP and three times election candidate myself, I am afraid the party is beyond redemption, and will never return to how it was pre referendum days. Besides TBP will be up you street as it doesn’t have an NEC, so it would be a win win situation insofar as you are concerned. Hopefully that explains all, until next time……..
Until the next time the leader stands everybody down again? Even if you assume the withdrawal of candidates was a tactical master stroke to achieve Brexit (which I don’t) the virtual mothballing of TBP was not, look at the mess that’s ensued virtually unopposed, and is it now to be resurrected just as a single issue anti lockdown party? Lockdown is just the result of a much deeper malaise and needs much broader response.
Anyway I thought you were a Heritage man now?
It would be helpful if a link to contact the N.A. was provided now as the article says, time is of the essence. NAAL is already taken with the adult literacy organisation perhaps somthing different?
Are we going to have the usual “but” in the form of a proscribed organisation, persons list?
Jim R lets just say I am keeping my options open at this stage. I want to be backing the strongest voice on such important issues facing this country at the moment. Obviously Nigel Farage has the advantage over most in that he was an MEP and leader of UKIP, and was primarily responsible for getting us a referendum and then winning it, or at least UKIP and its activists were but led by him of course. I want to believe in him all over again, but there are nagging doubts at the back of my mind. I just want some form of positive, cohesive action which will cement all those on this side of the argument together. If he doesn’t deliver then at least I will have something else to fall back on. The Heritage Party has the advantage of being a democratically run party with members who will have a say on how the party is run and what policies it wants to project to the electorate, and more importantly will be a ‘grassroots’ party which is the only way forward really.
“I want to be backing the strongest voice on such important issues facing this country at the moment.”
Absolutely Colin, that is what I and many others are also crying out for (even TG). It also accounts for the fury I feel about Farage. He has the qualities you mention, he would have the backing of many and be a real force but all you get from him is the occasional soundbite about becoming an anti lockdown party or somesuch – not nearly enough!
As far as I am concerned his actions, or lack of could easily be ascribed to controlled opposition in which case things are progressing nicely. Only Farage by mobilising can dissuade me from that notion.
Heritage? I emailed them on the day they announced that they were in business with a few queries. The main one was about
proscribed persons and organisations, as I am fed up with divisions on the ‘right’ and was advised that there was a ‘comprehensive’ list. That didn’t instil much confidence. I asked about the constitution and rule book not mentioned on their website, but no comment was made, (and neither was a response to the elephant in the room query).
I really don’t see how it can be a grassroots party without these in place and I did mention that it looked like a one man band so far. (Farage-lite?).
Still if Kurten is the man to do it so be it, I would be in. But the continual division and lack of co-operation on the ‘right’ is frustrating and all because of what? Ego’s, Fear of criticism by the MSM? Wanting to be liked?
