One of the British Army units set to join a new European Union (EU) battlegroup prayed at a radical Islamist mosque just weeks ago, Breitbart London can reveal. The 4th Infantry Brigade – otherwise known as the ‘Black Rats’ – were revealed by Breitbart London to have been part of an outreach project near their barracks in North Yorkshire which saw them praying at a mosque run by Tablighi Jamaat (TJ) operatives.
DAVID CAMERON is conducting such a cynical pro-EU campaign that he has all but guaranteed calls for another EU referendum should the Leave campaign lose by a narrow margin in June, said Lord Owen last night. The elder statesman, who was a Labour minster at the time of the last EU referendum in 1975, said the way the Prime Minister had used businesses who looked to the Government for contracts to back Remain would see this referendum viewed with “derision and contempt” by future generations. He warned that the people who were now warning about economic disaster in the event of Brexit were the same people who had urged Britain to join the Euro or watch The City “turn into a desert”.
In a further boost to the European Union (EU) referendum ‘Leave’ campaign, Great Britain’s key European ally, Poland, has not only been turning decisively Eurosceptic but has also found legal grounds to ban the EU flag. There have of course been the widely reported and exaggerated developments – such as Poland sending shockwaves through the Europhile parts of the EU by removing the Union’s flags from the Polish Prime Minister’s conference room last November.
DOWNING Street has refused to release any details of correspondence between David Cameron’s officials and business fat cats in which the PM reportedly cajoled top companies to oppose Brexit. Government bureaucrats ruled the public should not know what tactics the PM used to get senior directors to row in behind Project Fear, arguing doing so would hamper officials from lobbying on behalf of the EU in the future. The Brexit cover up follows a Freedom of Information (FOI) request from Express.co.uk to Mr Cameron’s office asking bureaucrats to disclose details of correspondence between the PM’s advisers and big business bosses.
David Cameron’s closest friend in politics today breaks ranks to say Britain must leave the ‘arrogant and unaccountable’ EU. In a shattering blow to the Prime Minister, Steve Hilton claims the UK is ‘literally ungovernable’ as a democracy while it remains in a club that has been ‘corruptly captured’ by a self-serving elite. And in an attack on Project Fear, the former No 10 adviser dismisses claims by Mr Cameron, the IMF and the Bank of England that being in the EU makes us more secure.
Jeremy Corbyn is wooing Ed Miliband to return to the shadow cabinet, in a move that will cause bitter divisions within the party. The former Labour leader, who presided over the party’s worst election result since 1987, is privately advising Mr Corbyn on how to lead the Labour party, paving the way for a return to frontline politics. Mr Miliband is offering regular “counsel and advice” to his successor, including how not to repeat his mistakes and ways to handle a hostile media, The Times has learnt.
The SNP has called on the Metropolitan Police to investigate whether the Conservatives fraudulently recorded local candidate spending as part of their national expenditure. SNP MP Pete Wishart wrote to the Met Police to call for an investigation into whether the Tories attempted to subvert the Representation of the People Act in the way they recorded their election spending. “Currently there are some 10 police forces investigating the electoral expenditure of some 28 Conservative candidates who contested the 2015 General Election,” he said in a letter disclosed to Channel 4 News.
EURO 2016 security plans were thrown into chaos when fights erupted and explosive devices were smuggled into France’s showpiece soccer stadium. Deafening firecrackers and smoke bombs sparked alarm inside the Stade de France. Police also used tear gas on fighting fans stuck in hour-long queues caused by a “ring of steel” on trial at the French Cup Final between Paris St-Germain and Marseille.
A MULTI-MILLION pound counter-terror base is being set up to protect isolated villages and holiday parks from Islamic State attacks in the countryside. The hub will have intelligence-gathering teams as well as a unit of specially-trained firearms officers. It will be located in south-west England and will cover vast tracts of Devon, Cornwall, Somerset and parts of Gloucestershire. The plan is part of a £143million boost to improve Britain’s armed policing capability over the next five years – which will see 1,500 firearms officers recruited.
