MEP Stuart Agnew has spoken up in the European Parliament about the €17.2 billion (yes, billion!) Erasmus program run by the EU.
It’s essentially a glorified student exchange program – which, as Mr Agnew points out, can be accomplished without the EU – but as he says, it’s real purpose is for propaganda. EU sponsored kit, teaching and furtherance of the open doors policy all adds up to some very committed young europhiles.
