One has to laugh when one sees the latest the covid propaganda machinery has come up with. There’s the campaign to make the under-30 cohort to get the ‘clotshot’, with appeals on social meejah like “Don’t miss out on club-going”. At the same time they appeal to national pride and competitiveness when pointing out that the youth in France (!) and Belgium (!) have out-clotshotted our youth (paywalled link). This comes under ‘shameless’.
Then there are all the ‘news’ coming under ‘you couldn’t make it up’. Suddenly, ‘herd immunity’ isn’t a dirty word any longer. Suddenly, BJ won’t self-isolate after having been pinged yet again after having been on a flight to Scotland with an ‘infected’ civil serpent (link).
Suddenly, some MPs are really cross with the jet-setting ‘climate tsar’, Mr Sharma, demanding that he must self-isolate and do so in one of the ‘quarantine hotels’ like everybody else, not in his lovely rural home (link).
If that’s not a populist demand I don’t know what is – especially when we read in the same paper that MPs, planning to go their holiday junkets for which we pay, ought not to claim the cost for the many PCR tests they’ve got to take:
“MPs will be able to claim the cost of coronavirus tests on expenses for their taxpayer-funded junkets. But they were warned last night that doing so ‘doesn’t look good’ when families are having to pay hundreds of pounds on swabs to go abroad this summer. Travel chiefs said it meant there would be different rules for the ‘Westminster elite’ while ordinary travellers ‘bear the brunt of extreme’ testing requirements.” (link)
Ah, but where would we be if our ’Great and Green Covid Good’ would have to comply with the covid rules they themselves have inflicted on us! That surely is unacceptable!
Here’s another little piece making up the utterly disjointed picture the government is presenting. It comes under ‘What The Fluff?’. It’s an intriguing little report about how ‘teh vaccine’ protects against that delta variant – apparently, it doesn’t:
“People who are fully vaccinated have a similar viral load to the unvaccinated, suggesting both can transmit Covid. New analysis by Public Health England (PHE) found little difference in how much virus was present in people who had been jabbed, leading to fears that the vaccines will not suppress spread as much as hoped.” (paywalled link)
Oh dear. But fear not – this doesn’t mean that having got the jab was unnecessary. The scientific explanations from ‘experts’ are extremely reassuring (not!), refuting PHE’s explanation:
“This means that whilst vaccination may reduce an individual’s overall risk of becoming infected, once they are infected there is limited difference in viral load (and Ct values) between those who are vaccinated and unvaccinated,” said the PHE report. However, other experts said that the same viral load in unvaccinated and vaccinated individuals did not necessarily mean that they were equally infections.” (paywalled link)
Good gawd – must we now distinguish between ‘infectious jabbees’ and ‘infectious non-jabbees’? Moreover, even if the jabbed are ‘less infectious’ than unjabbed – they’re still ‘infectious’, right? In consequence, all the lockdown torture instruments must be kept in place, right?
I hesitate to point out to all those learned experts, in government and especially in the covid MSM, that the jabs were never meant to ‘protect’ against infection, like a proper vaccine does, but were only meant to protect against serious covid illness once one’s caught the virus. Confusion happens when words are used incorrectly … Oddly enough, nobody asks why we need ‘jab passports’ when jabbed can transmit covid as well as the unjabbed.
Meanwhile, BJ and the SAGEs are happy with the sort-of freedom they’ve given us, some even don’t expect more restrictions to come in September. It’s because “we” have been good little muzzled lemmings, according to one anonymous minister:
“The overwhelming majority of people are still risk-averse, they’re still wearing facemasks and social distancing, which is playing into the government’s strategy,” one minister said.” […] Even scientific advisers are now confident that the rest of the summer will be far less risky than feared.” (link, paywalled)
How can that be when jabbed and unjabbed can spread the virus? Never mind – instead compare our ‘patriotic’ attitude with what is happening in Japan. In a ‘foreign news’ report from Tokyo we read with proper shudders that there’s a huge increase in covid cases in the country.
Rest assured, this isn’t due to the Olympic Games. The athletes and their support staff are all protected in a ‘bubble’. It’s the poor japanese staff – the cleaners, the cooks and all who go back home every night who are becoming infected (link, paywalled). What the Times Tokyo correspondent is reporting is quite amazing:
“There is a growing expert consensus that the Games are one of the biggest factors in the current crisis — not as a direct source of disease, but in the way they have corroded what was formerly the Japanese population’s most powerful defence against the coronavirus: its impressive discipline and cohesion.” (link, paywalled)
What ‘experts’ are these? A bunch of foreign correspondents sat in some bar in Tokyo? But why is this ‘powerful defence’ not working any longer? Here’s the stunning explanation:
“Some of this is the pandemic fatigue that has occurred naturally in many societies, as sheer weariness and boredom overpower the sense of obligation and responsibility. But in Tokyo’s case it has much to do with the Games, which have bred what the Japanese media refer to as Olympic complacency. Before the Games began, a large majority of Japanese were opposed to them going ahead. Now, having been forced on them unwillingly by the government, the Olympics are serving as a licence and an encouragement to ignore pandemic strictures — and even as a drug that numbs people to the health crisis bearing down upon them.” (link, paywalled)
Amazing, isn’t it: even the ever so disciplined Japanese are suffering from ’pandemic fatigue’ and have had enough of all the restrictions. Perhaps they’ve also cottoned on to the fact that there’s nothing as ridiculous as watching unmuzzled athletes compete in front of muzzled coaches and support staff – and then see them all muzzle up as soon as they’ve finished. Muzzles down for TV interviews – muzzles up for the medal ceremony – muzzles down for ‘pictures’ – muzzles up again. Perhaps they’ve spread that virus, breathing while competing, thus infesting the Tokyo air?
In any case – this jamboree will be over, done and dusted by Monday and we can go back to ‘enjoy’ other covid news, for example about the Army and police patrolling Sydney, to enforce the lockdown rules. Only, we read that it’s the poorer districts where police and Army roam – the better-off quarters in their leafy surroundings are apparently nicely compliant (link, paywalled). Shades of Audi Avenue …
I leave you with the latest idiocy perpetrated by our overbearing bureaucracy. Whitehall civil serpents – those 20% who do go to their offices – seem to believe that there are no circumstances all permitting that rules should be set aside. Thus, “we” are now paying nearly £500,000 to ‘store’ all those dinghies beached around our coast. After all, someone might claim their dinghy, or they might be needed as ‘evidence’ (link, paywalled). You couldn’t make it up!
Laughter is all we have left after this foray into the covid-infested mindset prevailing in Westminster Village. Why not quarantine the lot for the remaining months of this year and forbid them to utter one more word, in speech or print, for the sake of our health!

So far the Mask does not work and Lockdown does not work and the Experimental RNA manipulation by injection does not work but the Fear does work – Lets hope the scientifically and completely unknown medium and long term effects of the Experimental Jab are not also frightening? – We have never jabbed entire nations with something experimental and never done mass RNA manipulation either and never done them both at the same time – What could possibly go wrong apart autoimmune self destruction, sterilisation and the already established blood clots of course?

At university (1950 ) in the effort to avoid going to lectures about stuff, I was forced to learn such boring masterpiese as ” Eskimo ( or esquimoux ) Nell “, ” 420 virgins came down from Inverness ” and ” The Bastard King of England ” to name but a selection.
Rently I have found singing a selection of these brilliant and inspirational and godlike masterpieces over the BBC News , Very soothing.
Viral load is another one of the pseudo scientific labels we now have to understand/swallow.
The tests will presumably include ‘dealt with’ viral particles within that ‘load’.
Strikes me, there are an awful lot of people deliberately ignoring the common sense understanding of our innate immune system.
As there has been from the start of the scamdemic of course.

The whole bleeding thing is a maze of conflicting stories – which will be the idea. Keep people confused and manipulable.
But Michael it’s a very clever virus. It knows not to infect Billy Bunter travelling on a small plane even if he is in close proximity to a viral laden civil serpent. It knows that it’s OK however to cause everyone flying home from a holiday in Majorca, such as Julia Hartley Brewer, to have to go into quarantine because they are less important than politicians and their entourage. It knew not to infect someone sitting in a pub drinking a pint of beer if there was an uneaten Scotch egg on the table. However it knew that it could attack that person if he stood up before putting his mask on to go to the gents loos. It’s darned tricky to outwit this virus.
That’s true Ceri. The virus is a damn sight more clever than the politicians, civil serpents and MSM anyway.
It must be the virus itself manipulating THEM towards the Great Reset.
