Apathy is the word that comes most often to mind at present when I consider the attitude displayed by people in general as I view them on my daily round.
As with most words in regular use, I thought I had better check out the meaning and ensure that it actually does mean what I think it means.
The dictionary defines apathy as:- 1) absence of interest or enthusiasm for things generally considered to be interesting or moving; 2) absence of emotion- from the Greek apatheia.
So I’ve come up with an acronym to prove the point: Apatheia:
A Passive Attitude To How Everything Is Arranged
That is how I see the way so many people in Britain seem to view the government activities that have caused so much angst. Mental pain of the most acute kind has taken a hold on the general psyche. The resilience that used to characterise the British people seems to have waned to almost the thinnest sliver possible (like the moon) before it becomes invisible.
Where has the backbone gone that kept the hearts and souls of people alive during the war years. Where is the refusal to accept the defeat that seemed almost possible when the enemy was threatening at the gates of Britain!
We have a new enemy at the gates of Britain now. An army of illegal aliens posing as asylum seekers fleeing from (supposed) tyranny and persecution! Having crossed most of Europe to arrive upon our shores, it would have been possible for them to claim ‘asylum’ in any one of the EU countries through which they have traversed. But, their avowed intention was to reach Britain. Why should that be? The only answer that seems credible is that the news of the land of milk and honey that Britain represents has reached the far corners of the wider European and African land masses and the call of free money, housing and healthcare has proved irresistible. The knowledge passed on from mouth to mouth that it will be virtually impossible to be dislodged from Britain once here has proved too good to miss.
The apathy of the people whose Country is being ‘invaded’ and whose largesse is being spread amongst the new hangers-on (without due care that it is deserved or needed) is astounding. The fact that so many people actually believe that this immigration is acceptable or even desirable (never mind affordable!) is truly incredible. The indifference is utterly stupefying. Where is the outcry! Where is the protest! Where is the will to protect the Country from the unwanted numbers entering this land who may yet prove to be inimical!
Think back three generations or so, to the time when most ordinary citizens would have been ready with pitchforks and clubs to ‘repel boarders’ if the Germans had come calling and it is hard to imagine that the apathetic specimens that pass for Britons are born from the same stock.
All this immigration is taking place under cover of the pseudo pandemic of Covid – that strain of influenza that has been manipulated (whether in the laboratory or by natural mutation remains inconclusive) to pose as a deadly virus equivalent to the Black Death. Apart from the first few weeks when most people did believe in the message that a new and fearful disease was in our midst, the ensuing 21 months have been a travesty of psychological warfare waged upon us all by our own government and ‘opposition’ politicians.
Throughout it all there has been a stalwart band of miscreants (as the Government would have us all believe) who – being sceptic – has refused to succumb to the hysteria and hype. But the vast majority seem to have become so fatalistic and apathetic in their outlook that the war was over for them without much sign of struggle. Government has cruelly and systematically closed down people’s lives. The real tragedy is that the apathetic and fearful have swallowed the ‘message’ hook line and sinker. Their lives have become little better that that of caged animals. They are not living, they are existing, courtesy of the crumbs that their ‘Masters’ choose to throw down from on high to keep the peasants quiet.
When the first ‘vaccines’ appeared on the horizon they were trumpeted into existence as though they were to be the ultimate saviours of humanity. There was an initial promise that life would return to ‘normal’ as soon as the vulnerable were vaccinated. That promise was soon shown to be a straw in the wind. The news of adverse reactions soon began to surface. Some did not take up the second dose. Many did and many have since regretted their decision to do so.
But throughout the ever increasing and frantic furore by Government to ‘vaccinate’ and ‘vaccinate’ until the whole population has been turned into human pin cushions, the phlegmatic, closed-minded and obedient have failed to recognise that the ‘message’ has been subtly changing. I remember vaccinations as being the means by which one protected oneself from disease. The ‘message’ now being peddled is that ‘vaccination’ using the new gene therapy is much more about protecting others.
The real truth is becoming ever more apparent. That truth is that the ‘vaccines’ are not living up to any of their much hyped credentials. They do not protect the individual from catching or spreading the virus at all. It is becoming more and more likely that the reverse is the case. Neither, it seems, does the ‘vaccines’ efficacy ‘last’. More and more ‘boosters’ will be required to keep up one’s ‘vaccinated’ status.
So where is the outcry? Where is the protest? A few voices are raised in the wilderness that is today’s apathetic Britain! Protest marches regularly show large numbers of marchers all crying out for ‘freedom’! But what will that freedom be? Without a complete change in the way that Britain is ‘governed’; without a complete change in the way that people are informed and encouraged to participate in political life; without a complete change of heart amongst the most apathetic and compliant population that Britain has ever seen, it is very hard to imagine that the tyrannical despots that have stolen away our freedoms and our individual wills can be dislodged.
The very recent incursions by Government into our personal privacy via the appalling proposal to peddle our health and personal histories via a ‘vaccine (soon to be ID and Social Credit) passport’ should have been the final wake up call for the masses. Instead, we are seeing a very real willingness to comply. This compliance has been all too evident amongst the apathetic and impassive in the population, purely for the sake of being ‘allowed’ to take foreign holidays and to go to leisure venues. The cult of ‘bread and circuses’ is a very hard habit to break.
What will it take to awaken the torpid, the slothful and the indifferent? Apathy stifles life!
APATHY. Well is it apathy, or is it a mixture of factors. I don’t mean just immigration. I mean all the evil ways this country is being run, or led into.
With some it is apathy. Others are frustrated because there seems nothing ‘I’ can do. Others are doing their best to survive, often keep on working whatever ‘they’ say to stop me, because the job needs doing and people rely on me.
People I have dealings with largely fall into the last group.
I am an expert. A special member of a special happy band.to which I believe the inventor of Covid 19 aspired… It canfers expertise upon he (she or it) who patents the unpatentable.. Who makes tests and markets and sells large quantities on the basis that it obviously works although it doesn’t, and because everyone believes it should work, but don’t care.
I’ve bought a couple of other examples this christmes.
Somewhere in there lies Covid.and its satellites. The vaccines.
I believe you are describing the traditional Snake Oil Salesmen! The only difference is that this brand is lethal!

The emotional blackmail works. It has worked on me 4 times. My children , who in spite of being clever, used the ” The grandchildren have to be protected “, threat ( THREAT ) on me. .So far . I have taken the pragmatic approach. It will not happen again.
Only the scum of the universe would actually cynically weaponise that approach. And the first time I heard it used, was by the UN spokesperson.
I am sorry that your children have been so unfeeling and have not recognised that you still have a right to be heard and to make your own decisions. My Mother found herself dominated by my sister. Such a thing should never happen! Parents give their lives raising their children. They deserve respect at the end of it!

We certainly have. But always always keep the spotlight firmly and squarely on the string pullers, the prime movers, behind this and all the general world- wide turmoil; make them sweat under the spotlight ! Dont let them skulk in the shadows laughing at the rest of us !
All of us -including the migrants themselves !- are their victims, sacrificed to their greed and power lust. The politicians and their string pullers Soros, the UN, GloboCap. For them this engineered invasion serves several purposes: it helps to destroy the West which they hate so much, not least through “Divide and Rule”. It also gets Africans for example away from African soil where the globalists want a free run to plunder Africa’s mineral riches without too many humans getting in the way (China now has got on this act , so things should get interesting).
The globalists’ ban on fossil fuels is also impoverishing Africa, so Africans are driven here as economic migrants.
I think the migrants will not be “illegal” for much longer as UN Global Compact for Migration will “legitimise” all immigration. People are really going to be shocked when this Compact kicks in in earnest. And never forget our politicians’ empty promises that it would not be legally binding, which were but another cynical smoke and mirrors promise.

Mary I agree with you entirely. What really riles me is that the people of his Country who do not seem to be able to take onboard the fact that ‘they’ (as are we all) are going to have to keep paying ever increasing taxes on an ever diminishing income (due to whatever cause be it hyperinflation; wage reductions or enforced poverty due to the Social Credit ID scheme) to finance all this ‘immigration’. Those who aspire to live in Britain and arrive by illegal means have no real intention of working hard and becoming real self-supporting citizens. Their intention is to live of the largesse of the host like parasites! Easy living is the real draw that brings them all to Britain!
The drivers of this iniquity will simply sit back and pull their strings ever more tightly around all our necks until we are reduced once more to abject poverty and serfdom to the State! The more people comply and facilitate these abominations, the faster our fate will be sealed. What poverty and starvation wont kill, adverse vaccine reactions and illnesses caused by total health neglect followed by anarchy amongst the mixed races and creeds will finish off! Education is already being so compromised that we shall shortly be back to the levels of illiteracy etc that were so prevalent in the 19th century amongst the poorer classes. Without education, how will people learn to recognise that their lives have been reduced to the levels of farmed animals!!! Indoctrination not education will be the order of the day!
Correct Mary. And Doris is just the man to roll out the UN Global Compact or as he has always wanted – an amnesty on illegals. Oh! how the Redwoods, Davis, Davies, Baker, Francoise et al will put on an extra special bit of theatre in a bid to keep the useful idiot members/supporters on side.
