We need ‘moar equality’ for females!

Today I’ll present a few examples for ‘feminism’ in action. There’s the anti-Raab campaign, there’s Hague and the WI, again, and there’s the NHS because Starmer has apparently spoken out. Except for that last item you’ll not find any of them in this morning’s collection of the dead-tree press: “Newspaper headlines: Starmer’s NHS pledge and MPs’ anger over eco-protesters” (link).

Let’s take a quick look at this Starmer interview of which the DT is so proud that you can’t find the actual thing on their site. Well, perhaps it’ll come out later. Unsurprisingly, his verdict is that

“The NHS is “broken”, Sir Keir Starmer has declared, claiming that a fifth of A&E patients go to hospital because they cannot get a GP appointment. In an interview with The Telegraph, the Labour leader accused the Conservatives of presiding over a “cycle of decline” that could bring the NHS to an end. New research by Labour has suggested that around 4.5 million patients in England went to A&E last year because they could not get a GP appointment.” (paywalled link)

Well, it’s good to know that Starmer and Labour have noticed this state of affairs. It’s also good to know that he knows how to ‘save’ the NHS – by not voting Tory, of course:

“Sir Keir set out a case for “reform and rebuilding” of healthcare, with neighbourhood health services tailored to local communities instead of a centralised NHS. He claimed the future of the health service was in jeopardy under the Conservatives, saying: “If they carry on like this, it can’t survive – the biggest risk to the NHS is another Tory government.” (paywalled link)

‘Targeting local communities’: is that a hint that Labour is going to make the 15-minute-city a reality? Let’s not ask under which government the NHS became ‘centralised’ … Also, he and Labour will ‘protect women’s rights’ by keeping single-sex wards! Well, that’s a worthy aim because, as The Times reports,

“The number of NHS patients on mixed-sex wards hit a record high in January, according to health service figures. Some 4,938 patients were placed on wards with the opposite sex, the highest number since monitoring began in 2010. Figures reached a low of 110 in June 2014.” (link, paywalled)

You’ll not find a single word acknowledging the huge impact the covid & lockdown policies have had on the NHS – policies enthusiastically supported by Labour for which the government wasn’t hard enough. At least he now acknowledges that 99.9% of women don’t have a penis,’having previously vowed to change the law in favour of self-identification.’ (paywalled link). There must be an election coming … though it’s funny that he’s not getting flak from the usual suspects for this statement.

Meanwhile, a certain William Hague turns out to be behind the times by jumping on the transgender train, telling WI ‘activists’ that they “should “get over” their opposition to transgender people joining the organisation” and “get used” to the fact they want to join.” (link, paywalled).

I gather from that report that local WIs want local branches to have a vote. They haven’t taken kindly to Hague’s ‘advice’ and a Tory MP – female – said “that Hague should stay out of the argument, adding: “Why do men think they are entitled to tell women what they ought to do?” (link, paywalled). Not that I carry a torch for Hague or support his ludicrous advice, but yon MP ought to reflect on ‘sauce -goose -gander’ because women seem to think that it’s perfectly ok for them to tell men what they ought to do.

Moreover, professional females are entrenched in an anti-male warfare which is skewing our attitude towards justice. There were reports about the director of the CBI having been sacked summarily over complaints about his behaviour. Astonishingly, the Beeb has a report you might like to peruse (link). The important quote however is this:

“Sexual harassment is unwanted behaviour of a sexual nature, says Alison Loveday, an employment lawyer at Lockett Loveday McMahon Solicitors. “It must have either violated someone’s dignity, whether it was intended or not, or created an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for them, whether it was intended or not.” (link)

And there ye have it: a whole catalogue of ‘misdemeanours’ which are punishable by sacking. Just ‘creating an intimidating environment, intended or not’, is sufficient.  Keep this statement in mind – it’s important for the ‘Case of Bully Raab’. This is a campaign enthusiastically supported by The Times, with ‘insider help’ from Whitehall.

The actual report hasn’t even got into the hands of Sunak but ‘sources’ already told The Times that “Dominic Raab is likely to be replaced by a woman if he is forced to quit as justice secretary over claims that he bullied officials.” (link, paywalled). Moreover, in a clear attempt to force Sunak’s hands, ‘sources’ told The Times that:

“Sunak was most likely to appoint a woman to the role amid concerns about the gender imbalance in cabinet. Just a quarter of the seats are filled by women.” (link, paywalled)

And those ‘sources’ are already bandying about the names of those females who could replace Raab whose demise these ‘sources’ regard as a foregone conclusion

“Three female ministers — Victoria Atkins, financial secretary to the Treasury, Victoria Prentis, the attorney-general and Lucy Frazer, the culture secretary — are said to be in contention to succeed Raab. Alex Chalk, a defence minister, is also in the running.” (link, paywalled)

There ye go: have a campaign to get rid of Raab and replace him with a female minister because “we” need more than just a quarter of male ministers. We’ve come a long way in the fight for equality when gender and race are the criteria on which governments are supposed to be selected, not merit.

How this works out in practice is exemplified by the state of the much vaunted German Armed Forces which are even less than just a shadow of their former selves after having been ‘led’ by three female Ministers of defence in succession. One of them ended up as top honcho of the EU.

That’s all I have for today. Clearly, “we” must fight for ‘moar females’! They give us transmales in adverts and change the logo of a National Park because a logo of a burning brazier is detrimental for Net Zero. Have a good day.
