Dear All,
Our street stalls are continuing apace. Chalk Farm was very good last weekend and we had a gorgeous sunny day too! Our new Camden Local newsletter – also attached – went down a storm and we will have the Harrow version with us this weekend.
With the dreadful debacle in Parliament over the last 2 days we now cannot wait to get out there again next weekend. As well as leaflets we will also have some handouts encouraging people to contact their MPs with the message that we want a WTO Brexit now!
Details:
Sunday 3rd March at 12 noon
Sainsburys, 1 The Broadway, Stanmore HA7 4DA
Turn left out of Stanmore tube station and walk towards Stanmore village – crossing the road at the lights. Sainsburys is on the same side of the road (the left) and just round the bend.
Stanmore tube station is on the Jubilee Line and there are a few buses as well. As it’s a Sunday there should be some free parking on the residential side streets.
Please wear whatever Brexit insignia you have – UKIP, Leave Means Leave, GO, WTO badges etc.
We work hard but it’s always a friendly, sociable day – a chance to meet fellow Ukippers from nearby areas too!
Come along and help spread the message of WTO BREXIT NOW and NO to an Article 50 extension!
I would especially love to see some Harrow members as Stanmore is in the Harrow East constituency – now’s your chance to campaign in your area!
See you on Sunday, please call me on the number below if you need to.
Thankyou
Janice

~~~ OOO ~~~
The events over the past week have proven beyond all doubt that the Westminster elite are in the process of betraying Brexit. Westminster needs to wake up to the fact that failing to deliver a true Brexit will permanently damage the British people’s faith in democracy and trust in politicians.
All of us who want a proper Brexit must be prepared to stand up for what we believe in and fight for our independence.
That’s why we are excited to announce our epic plan: the March to Leave.
How to Become a Marcher.
So join us as we walk across the nation braving the rain, wind and snow to take our simple message to Parliament that Leave Means Leave.
Be sure to follow us on social media throughout the campaign and use the hashtag #March2Leave and spread the news by sharing our launch video and forwarding on this email.
So leavers, what are you waiting for? It’s time to dust off your walking boots and join us on our once in a lifetime March to Leave.
Kind regards,
Richard Tice & John Longworth
Leave Means Leave
The March is a tremendous initiative. I am seriously thinking of joining it but have to work out my personal details.
As for the fifty pounds, I believe it is a sensible plan. First what the organisers are offering far exceeds the fifty pounds cost. For example it will cost me nearly three times that just to get to Sunderland. Accommodation and food will then be organised saving so much individual effort and cost. Discipline will be maintained with daily start times and marcher cohesion. Enough said.
I would struggle with the costs so would probably, to some degree, be looking for my own funding but haven’t worked that out.
The point is ‘What can we Do’. This at least gives an outlet to frustration, forget party and individual petty politics. It is doing something!
Oh damn it, I will cover up my tattoos, adopt a posh accent, swallow my pride and crop up for the march!
We need a General Election before any further voting on this by parliment
Interesting, I didn’t think Nigel Farage approved of “street activism”, which is basically what any march or public rally is.
Does anyone who wants to join the march have to pay £50 for the privilege? How very elitist, perhaps this will put off the ‘skin-heads and tattooed thugs’ from taking part! 😉
Just what I was thinking, will Tommy be allowed to join or any of his supporters because they all voted leave, or is it as you say just for the posh leavers?
