Over the past 18 months there have been many ideas going around about the Covid 19 Virus, mainly called ‘conspiracy theories’, so here’s mine.  Could the whole thing have been created by The Powers That Be  —  TPTB or just Them with a capital ‘T’  —  to get rid of a large part of the world’s population?

Let’s face it, look around the world and you’ll see that it’s rapidly reaching standing room only, even here in the UK.  In 1798 Thomas Malthus published his Essay on the Principle of Population, a theory which proposed that the world’s population would grow exponentially and outstrip the food supply.  But this growth, he felt, would be controlled by famine, war and natural catastrophes which would finally bring the population back to a sustainable level.  Except that this didn’t happen because Malthus was writing at the very beginning of the Industrial Revolution and he hadn’t made allowance for humanity’s inventiveness.
In 1900, the world’s population was about 1,500 billion;  by 1950 it had reached 2,500 billion;  by the year 2000 it had grown to over 6 billion and by last year, 2020, it was nearly 8 billion.   So Malthus was right about the exponential growth of the human race.  But as yet, he has not been right about a world famine.  In spite of the wars and catastrophes, both natural and political, which Malthus had predicted, the production of food increased to a remarkable extent over the past 100 years due to technology, the use of farm chemicals and the focus on crop genetics.  Also, countries are now willing and able to send surplus food supplies to those where there is a lack of food.  In addition, there have been medical advances that cured many diseases, eased disabilities and extended lives beyond a productive limit.  All very noble, but these advances do nothing to curb the world’s increasing population which might reach who-knows-what numbers by 2005.  And more people mean more use of the world’s natural resources  —  not only land but freshwater, forests and minerals but especially those rare earth minerals which are increasingly used by Industry these days.   The Earth is not a store cupboard that can be refilled by a trip to the local supermarket.  Once the store is emptied, that’s it.
Of course, They have been aware of this for some years, but what They have been able to put in motion to prevent population growth so far has not been very fast or effective.  The contraceptive Pill was a good start and also encouraging women to go to work so that there were fewer unwanted and unneeded babies. Abortions became normal, even up to birth. Homosexuality was freed from stigma, LGBT, etc. invented, and recently the new idea of transgenderism developed. But these ideas have not been entirely accepted, with some religions actively preaching against them.
Another World War might have been a quick way of reducing the population, but after the eradication of Hiroshima in 1945 by the first Atom Bomb and then the development of the hydrogen or H Bomb with its even more destructive power and which is now owned by no fewer of the world’s countries, this is unthinkable. They want a sustainable and controllable population, not an uninhabitable planet.  As it is, over the past 60 years there have been a number of worldwide mini-wars which if they get out of hand, might lead to a number of itchy fingers heading for the nuclear button.
So, with Famine not an immediate possibility and a full-blown War out of the question, the only thing left was Plague.  Thinking back to the Spanish Flu which, in 1918/19 killed approximately 100 million people worldwide, They set out to produce an even more fatal virus  —  Hong Kong Flu, Avian Flu, SARS, etc.  —  but none killed the billions they were hoping for.  Then they thought of vaccination.   If they could produce a virus that would at least kill a few million around the world, then They could terrify the billions into taking a vaccine that would kill them off gradually over the next few years  —  not all at once, of course, as it would become obvious before all the vaccines had been taken up and in any case, billions of bodies can’t be dealt with at one time.
A suitable virus was worked on at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China and, thinking that They had plenty of time for it to be developed, in October 2019 They held a high-level exercise on how society might respond to a severe pandemic in the future so as to deal with large-scale economic and other consequences. But then disaster struck.  At about the same time, the virus escaped from the Wuhan Laboratory in China, where it was being developed, possibly killing a Lab worker there.  It is doubtful if They had intended the virus to be let out in China and certainly not at this point, before it had reached its full strength.  But it was out and They had to deal with it.
As feared, the numbers actually dying from the Virus were not huge and in normal times it would have been passed off as little more than the usual flu, but the Governments and the world’s media were recruited and Wuhan Flu was declared a pandemic of enormous proportions and numbers of deaths were inflated. Those dying ‘with’ Covid were said to have died ‘of’ Covid and if they died within 28 days of testing positive were said to have died of Covid even if they had fallen under a bus.  People were controlled  —  be afraid, very afraid, work from home, don’t go out, close the schools, wear a mask, don’t hug, keep your distance, wash your hands and bad luck if you are a small business!
Then out came the vaccination and it was no surprise that at first people scrambled for their jabs without thinking.  But this vaccine was a rush job, just a couple of months of testing and authorised for emergency use only  —  presumably, They had already developed an effective vaccine for themselves.  Although the number of severe side effects and even deaths due to the vaccination, especially after the second dose, skyrocketed, this news was mainly found across the Internet, with the Media saying how well things were going.  But people began to notice, especially when there was talk about young children having to be vaccinated or for vaccinations having to become mandatory if ‘Covidiots’ and ‘Covid Deniers’ refused to accept them.  Then came the huge Marches in London and across the country, calling for Freedom and an end to the Lockdown and the Government seems to be backing down, saying that we shall have our Freedom Day on 19th July.  From all accounts, we shall make the most of it even though in the background new restrictive laws and control continue.  But what will happen if and when the vaccine deaths continue to rise, even if they are said to be a result of new ‘variants’ of the disease?   Will the people win or will They?  Will They give up their struggle to achieve a sustainable world population that can be controlled and used?   Or will just find a new way of bringing about that aim?
But of course, this is just a Conspiracy Theory, something the Government, the media and all sensible people dismiss.  Not a word of truth in it.   Is there?
