Boris Johnson last night goaded his Tory critics by vowing to seek a third term as Prime Minister and lead his party into the mid-2030s.
As plotting by Ministers, MPs and party donors intensified in the wake of the PM’s drubbing in two by-elections on Thursday, Mr Johnson said he was ‘thinking actively’ about a third term in office – potentially taking him past Margaret Thatcher’s 11 years in Downing Street.
His defiance came as one of the candidates to succeed him told The Mail on Sunday that they expected the PM to face a challenge ‘within weeks or even days’.
Mr Johnson insisted to reporters at a Commonwealth summit in Kigali, Rwanda, that questions of his leadership were ‘settled’ after he won a vote of confidence earlier this month, and pledged he would not undergo any ‘psychological transformation’ in order to win over unsupportive MPs.

Boris Johnson has said he is “actively thinking” about a third term, amid criticism of his leadership.
The prime minister was asked if he would like to serve a full second term in office – to 2028 or 2029.
“At the moment I’m thinking actively about the third term and what could happen then, but I will review that when I get to it,” he told reporters.
One Tory MP has said he wants the rules changed so Mr Johnson could face another confidence vote.
Speaking to reporters in Kigali, Rwanda, where he has been at the Commonwealth Heads of Government meeting, the prime minister was asked to elaborate on his comment, replying that he was thinking “about a third term – mid 2030s”.
No 10 later suggested he was joking, but it points to Boris Johnson’s bullish mood despite two bruising by-election defeats in the past week in Wakefield, and Tiverton and Honiton.
Following the results, party co-chairman Oliver Dowden resigned, saying “someone must take responsibility”.
The Lib Dems overturned a huge Tory majority in Tiverton and Honiton – their third by-election victory over Boris Johnson’s party in a year.
And Labour retook the seat of Wakefield, West Yorkshire, which it lost at the 2019 general election.
Guardian
Senior Conservatives accused Boris Johnson of increasingly “delusional” behaviour on Saturday night after he said he was already planning for his third term as prime minister, just two days after the Tories suffered a catastrophic double byelection defeat at the hands of the Liberal Democrats and Labour.
As talk of replacing Johnson intensified, several senior MPs questioned why the prime minister had been allowed to give interviews in which he said he would refuse to change his ways, and then, in even more defiant terms, told journalists at the Commonwealth summit in Rwanda that he was planning to be in Downing Street until well into the 2030s.
In a series of interventions that angered MPs, the prime minister suggested that he would not change his behaviour in office, regarded issues around his leadership as settled and saw his premiership extending into the distant future.
Asked by reporters in the Rwandan capital, Kigali, about whether he would like to serve a full second term as prime minister, Johnson said: “At the moment I am thinking actively about the third term and you know, what could happen then,” adding, “But I will review that when I get to it.”

Boris Johnson has said he is “thinking actively” about a third term as prime minister and that he is planning on still be PM in the 2030s, as pressure piles on his leadership following the Tories’ double by-election defeat and the partygate scandal.
Should the PM fight the next two general elections he would become the longest-serving post-war leader.Despite Mr Johnson’s apparent optimism, Conservative critics are reportedly plotting to oust him after voters rejected the Tories in both the Wakefield, and Tiverton and Honiton by-elections on Thursday.
He urged Tory MPs plotting to oust him not to focus on the issues he has “stuffed up” after his authority was further diminished by a Cabinet resignation.
And he insisted questions over his leadership were now settled after the loss of Wakefield to Labour and former stronghold Tiverton and Honiton to the Lib Dems.

RUSSIA WILL supply Belarus with missiles capable of carrying nuclear warheads after their president complained about nuclear-armed NATO flights coming close to the Belarusian border.
The announcement was made by President Vladimir Putin on Saturday as he received Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko in Moscow. Putin offered to upgrade Belarusian warplanes to make them capable of carrying nuclear weapons amid soaring tensions with the West over Ukraine.
Putin said in a broadcast on Russian television at the start of his meeting with Lukashenko in St Petersburg: “In the coming months, we will transfer to Belarus Iskander-M tactical missile systems, which can use ballistic or cruise missiles, in their conventional and nuclear versions.”
At the meeting, Lukashenko expressed concern about the “aggressive”, “confrontational”, and “repulsive” policies of Belarus’s neighbours Lithuania and Poland.
He asked Putin to help his country mount a “symmetrical response” to what he said were nuclear-armed flights by the US-led NATO alliance near Belarus’s borders.
Last month, Lukashenko said his country had bought Iskander nuclear-capable missiles and S-400 anti-aircraft anti-missile systems from Russia.

A SECRET plot to overthrow Vladimir Putin could already be in the works, according to a CIA-insider.
The “hammer blow” to topple the Russian leader could be set up by Putin’s own inner-circle in a surprise coup to catch him off guard.
Former-CIA Moscow station chief Daniel Hoffman claimed Putin’s cronies will look to secretly overthrow the president if his invasion of Ukraine starts to go south.
“These guys that are going to do it are going to be so secret about it so that Putin doesn’t find them and kill them first,” Hoffman said.
“It’ll happen all of a sudden. And he’ll be dead.”
The former intelligence chief said that Putin’s invasion of Ukraine could lead to his own undoing, and members of his inner-circle could be set for a mutiny to seize control of the conflict.
“Nobody’s gonna ask, ‘Hey Vladimir, would you like to leave?’ No. It’s a f**king hammer to the head and he’s dead. Or it’s time to go to the sanatorium,” Hoffman told The Daily Beast.
“They schwack him for it. That’s what they’ll do.”
Prince Charles

The Prince of Wales was facing questions last night after a report claimed that he had accepted €1m (£860,000) cash in a suitcase from a Qatari sheikh.
According to The Sunday Times, Prince Charles was personally handed the suitcase by Qatari politician Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani.
It was one of three lots of cash, which totalled €3m, that Prince Charles reportedly personally received as charitable donations. On another occasion Sheikh Hamad gave the prince €1m in Fortnum & Mason carrier bags, the paper reported.
There is no suggestion that Prince Charles did anything illegal in receiving the money.

The Prince of Wales accepted bags containing millions of euros in cash during meetings with a senior Qatari politician, according to a report.
Prince Charles was said to have been given a total of €3m (£2.6m) during meetings with Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al-Thani, the former prime minister of Qatar.
The cash was handed to the heir to the British throne in a suitcase on one occasion, a holdall on another, as well as in Fortnum & Mason carrier bags, the up-market department store which holds a Royal Warrant to supply the prince’s household with groceries.
The handovers are alleged to have occurred during meetings between the two men, including a private one-to-one meeting at Clarence House in 2015, it was claimed.

The Prince of Wales accepted a suitcase containing €1 million in cash from a controversial Qatari politician, The Sunday Times can reveal.
It was one of three lots of cash, totalling €3 million, which Prince Charles personally received from Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, the former prime minister of Qatar who is nicknamed “HBJ”, between 2011 and 2015.
On one occasion, Sheikh Hamad, 62, presented the prince with €1 million, which was reportedly stuffed into carrier bags from Fortnum & Mason, the luxury department store that has a royal charter to provide the prince’s groceries and tea.

Prince Charles was last night engulfed in a major controversy following claims he accepted a suitcase stuffed with €1 million in cash for his charity from a billionaire Qatari sheik.
On another occasion the controversial politician is said to have given the heir to the throne the same amount – equivalent to £820,000 – in wads of banknotes packed into carrier bags from royal grocer Fortnum & Mason.
In total, Charles reportedly received €3 million in cash for the Prince of Wales Charity Foundation from Sheik Hamad Bin Jassim Bin Jaber Al Thani, the former prime minister of Qatar, in payments made between 2011 and 2015.
The sheik personally handed €1 million in cash to Charles during a private meeting at Clarence House in 2015, it was reported last night.
The Prince immediately handed it to aides who arranged for the money to be passed in full to the charity.
The sheik is a contentious figure. He has conceded that under his premiership Qatar ‘maybe’ financed the Syrian branch of Al Qaeda without his knowledge. He has also been dubbed ‘the man who bought London’ after overseeing the Qatari purchase of Harrods, the Shard and the Olympic village.
Genders
Telegraph
BBC staff have been told there are more than 150 genders, and to develop their “trans brand” by declaring their pronouns on email signoffs.
The Telegraph has obtained material provided to radio staff by Global Butterflies, a transgender group that the BBC drafted in for training sessions last summer and autumn.
Emails were sent to radio producers and programme editors, some from heads of departments, urging them to attend the training.
During the sessions, leaked to The Telegraph, staff were shown an array of gender-neutral pronouns they should use including “xe, xem, xyrs”, and were told: “People can self-identify themselves in over 150 ways, and increasing!”
Staff were told they should include their pronouns in email signature boxes to be “part of your trans brand” as an “inclusive and welcoming… brilliant show of ally support”.
The Global Butterflies trainer told staff that “he/she” pronouns “can create “discomfort, stress and anxiety” for gender non-conforming people and “it has been shown that in young trans people, using correct pronouns and names reduces depression and suicide risks”.
The diversity training said: “If you overhear a colleague using the incorrect pronouns for someone, take them aside and remind them of the correct pronouns.”
Staff were shown a diagram of pronoun badges that they could wear around offices, and shown how to use gender pronouns on air. They were also urged to avoid the terms transsexual and transvestite, and told that “nudging” or “staring” are transphobic.
A whistleblower told The Telegraph the BBC was “suppressing stories” that challenge trans activism and claimed there is a “tight-knit cabal at the top of BBC News who give tacit approval to gender ideology”.

HEATHROW airport has descended into chaos with suitcases abandoned across terminals while fuming passengers have been forced to miss flight connections.
Ticked-off travellers are telling of pandemonium at the London airport where apologetic staff are saying “the whole industry is a mess”.
The travel industry has been plunged into turmoil in recent weeks due to staff shortages, staff strikes and a soaring demand for holidays.
Passengers have been devastated by last-minute flight cancellations, huge queues and lost baggage as airports struggle to cope.
Shocking snaps show the disarray passengers are attempting to navigate, with thousands of suitcases deserted at both arrivals and departures.
Piles of luggage are seen cordoned off in no particular order – making travellers fear they may not see their belongings again for weeks.
Meanwhile tens of vexed travellers were forced to miss connection flights over a bus blunder.
Passengers have claimed they were left waiting for over an hour for shuttle buses to take them from Terminal three to Terminal five.
White privilege
Times
The parents of a teenager who is quitting a school that teaches topics such as white privilege and being gender queer are seeking the right to see “secret” lessons.
The girl’s mother, Clare Page, said there were few problems when her daughter started in year 7 at Haberdashers’ Hatcham College in southeast London, which is rated “good” by Ofsted.
In the past three years, however, she and her husband have complained several times about lessons on race, sex and gender, fearing that children are being “indoctrinated” and white pupils have been made to feel they are “privileged” simply because of their skin colour.
Wasn’t Blair prosecuted for a “queer” offence before becoming PM?
Prince Charles: not fit to be King on many counts.
Well, stone me!
The craziest report has to be the Telegraph, about the BBC.
As for Prince Charles, well what is he being bribed to do? On the one hand he is an eco-loon and the Arabs have made their money selling oil, a fossil fuel. On the other hand our future king wants to be the defender of the faithS.
I can only suppose he is being bribed to let all the Muslims into our country.
The energy deficit deepens.

HarryAgain- only the refuse-nicks to pay-nicks seem to have the problem.
The other day it was a very expensive tree house for a little boy who is not yet old enough to climb into it.To be built on property that Boris does not own, and for which he hoped someone else would pay.
Yesterday he vows, or is “actively thinking”, to seek a third term as Prime Minister and lead his party into the mid-2030s. Somewhat belatedly a No 10 spokesperson tries to say that perhaps he was joking.
No. He was NOT joking. Being the creature he is he really believes it and has to let us know. Remember the times he stood at a lectern with the words “Build Back Better” emblazoned across the front? Exactly the same as Joe Biden’s. THAT mantra is straight from the WEF and the “Great Reset”.
Why do we suffer uncontrolled immigration?
Why do we suffer the LGBT alpabet soup, trans-this-that-and-the-other perversions being rammed down our throats?
Why do we suffer the apparent immunity from prosecution of the likes of BLM, Antifa and the climate-change activists?
Why must we still suffer from the effects of the catastrophic reaction to the covid scam, like a ruined National Economy?
Because his masters will it.
Boris is, and always has been, a bully. There is only one way to deal with bullies… and it ain’t pleasant.
Richard Mawdsley. I think our economy has suffered more (and continues to suffer) from the carbon neutral scam, than it did from the Covid scam.
However, I agree with what you say about the WEF and the Great Reset.
Three terms in office as PM? Not quite as crazy as Hitler’s Thousand Year Reich !!
flyer- there are two genders. education, education, education.
And the bbc wonders why they are losing over 100,000 sheep paying into their coffers.
Let us not not forget it was El Supremo No 1 Blair who at every opportunity instigated a homosexual open house invitation to any (legal) No 10 booze-up.
At the same time half the tv presenters became overtly homo-sexual (coming out ducky) with the odd (male?) clown with pink hair and lipstick thrown in. There are many, many still about hosting weekend apparently humerous evening shows. And GBNews has several as presenters, vomitators and regular guests.
My reply above…
Re the tree house:
Vernon Coleman makes the interesting point that `TPTB seem to be making national prime ministers as odious as possible, like a red rag to a bull, so that we will be relieved and grateful to get Global Government instead. He might have a point.
In New Zealand I heard they are goading people by having huge posters of the execrable Jacinda Ardern by roadsides.
Re Heathrow (sarcasm alert) : How dare the “little people” presume to want a holiday ort o see relatives abroad? They should be put back in their place, walking to the local shops for their daily bugburger and no further.
mary- NZ – huge posters – little paintball guns
uSA – huge posters – shotgun pellets
mary. I’m glad to hear Vernon Coleman is still making his voice heard.
I’ve just re-read his 2011 book about all the damage Vaccines were then doing to us.
It is almost a prophesy about the Covid vaccinations we have now witnessed.
VC has been at the forefront of the campaign to warn the public throughout the entire horrible past 2 years. He has been warning about muzzles, compulsory jabs and Digital ID right from the get-go. and is still very active,

An interesting reflection on the real message to be understood from the By-election results this week.
This message requires deep thought and reflection on what is happening to this country. God help us —

George- let us not forget the hospitality trade laying off thousands after paying out for marquees and the like so punters were ‘outside’, sports stadia opening prohibited, shops closing never to open again (20+ pct of my high street), in a time when there were no other jobs to be had because of the scamdemic – nice, really nice. Thanks PM, thanks government. I’ll vote for you – right! . . . and tactical voting for some reason.
The whole complicit 650 need to be booted out.
God help us that are members of centre Right parties and thus at least doing something; as for the rest, they have only themselves to blame for the troubles ahead.
This gender lunacy is getting out of hand and is doing young people a lot of harm.
Today I went into a jewelers to look at a watch. The young man that served me, as I was talking to him, I couldn’t help nut notice that he was very effeminate, he was wearing jeweled ear studs and overall he just didn’t look right. I’ve seen this much too often recently, men wearing dresses and carrying a handbag while having a long beard; enough to make you throw up.
The people that did this to our young people need to be strung up.
I’ve gotten into watching old war movies lately, last night I watched ‘The Guns of Navarone,’ a brilliant movie made at a time when men were still men. We’re on the brink of World War Three and all we’ll be left with is the S GAY S, we’ll have no hope.
Indeed flyer; all with a sinister purpose, no doubt orchestrated by Boris’ globalist mates.
From GB News, I’ll let you all make up your own minds on this.

There’s a lot of barking mad people about. It’ beats me how the various perverts have so much influence. A plot to destroy Western civilisation is my suspicion.

For once I agree with you. but with me its not a suspicion; it is a fact.
Seconded Mary.
