When freedom calls to us we must answer. So when today’s Freedom march was announced I was determined to go, having missed the last one.. And there is so much to protest about! We were beginning to wonder how much difference these protests make. But once I arrived, (having made my posters on the tube) you realise that every person counts – the more of us the better.
Every generation has to fight for freedom all over again – and this is our time. If we don’t we will end up in never-ending lockdowns, tracked and traced, socially credit scored, PCR tested, regularly vaccinated, not allowed to protest or use cash, bullied by the green agenda, and blocked by road closures and bike lanes everywhere (some of which is already happening). We must protest now while we still can.

I was late arriving and joined the back of the march, meandering out of Hyde Park Corner. I wasn’t sure how many were there today. Was it less? I walked faster for a while and then looked back. The crowd behind me was immense, as was that in front. We had done ourselves proud again!
We marched along to the beat of a drum. We sang, we chanted, some danced, some even carried icons and some played music. Most of us had posters including one I saw which simply said “I’ve got the Freedom Variant”.
The smell was heady – a mix of flare smoke, incense, and some err “herbal mixtures “?. Sometimes the air was blue from a flare giving it a surreal effect. Cars beeped in agreement. It was uplifting. I was glad to be there.
As we went under a bridge suddenly everyone broke into a freedom chant, I joined in, carried along by the feeling of the crowd. There was a comfort and familiarity – we have done this many times before now of course.

We were heading south. It was a warm day but as we walked over the river suddenly a breeze and freshness from the water wafted in and refreshed me. The sky and the river looked beautiful. I felt proud of my city. These marches are a lesson in appreciating our city as well for freedom -beautiful buildings everywhere, the river never far away, history at every turn. How wonderful to be a Londoner! My heart heaved with pride.
By now we were in Brixton. It has improved a lot. Been “hipsterised “ perhaps or regenerated – a word for the rich trying to make cash out of what was once a working-class area… sigh. People stared, some joined in, some not. Hey, perhaps we were the nearest thing to a carnival this year ?!
Some wandered to the pub by then but most of us marched on to Clapham. Once there the police made a show of force. You could say to stop people wandering on the road or maybe because there was now less of us they could push a few people around. Who knows. But the march was peaceful, colourful, positive, exuberant and wonderful. We are old hands at this now. The media may ignore us but the people SEE us!
Fight for our freedom we must!
See you at the next one!

No Jack Thomas – I am not claiming the climate crisis is genuine. The reverse!
Did you read the article? A virologist found his work being twisted and misrepresented by anti-vaxxers. Well this distortion and fake news is what we have come to expect from the MSM and the climate gaslighters. Every natural phenomenon is twisted and claimed to be evidence we are heading for a ‘climate crisis’. Never mind that in some cases like failure to dredge rivers or clear brushwood the flood or fire is our fault – but not through burning fossil fuel or eating a good steak.
My patience with the distortions of fact, the peddling of scientifically illiterate claptrap and yes – stoking project fear over the one success of the whole fiasco, the vaccines, is running out. And yet the same people wanted no lockdown (not unreasonable due to the effect on the economy) no masks, no testing. Harry may have gone over the top but boy is his patience tried too
Good!

That was so uplifting Janice thank you. Pity about the trolls but sticks and stones etc.
Thanks Janice. You’ve given me a little hope for the Freedom Variant.

You all should really watch this, we’ve been had.
This gives the fiscal background showing why TPTB are desperately racing against time to introduce the Vacpass, and showing how we might avert totalitarianism by resisting.
The current fiscal system will soon collapse and must inevitably be replaced by a digital currency. We are at a fork in the road with 2 possible outcomes; a totalitarian Central Bank Digital Currency controlled by Government (Britcoin): this necessitates a digital ID system. Or we could avoid this and have Bitcoin?

Mary – I agree. This was just sent to me from an NZ newspaper. It appears that NZ, up until recently one of the most free countries in the world, is now leading the charge into Communism and UN Agenda 2030, Britain is on the same path.
“NZ’s path to United Nations Agenda 2030”

Thanks for posting that flyer, I for one have never seen or heard such a far reaching history of and proposed implementation of UN agenda 30 before, nor had I known of the “17 positions of the Saints of Sustainability” which are obviously our new religion replacing the 10 commandments.
I will not criticise the intent of the whole policy, but I am well aware that it has been hijacked and “re-interpreted to the nth degree” by global self interested parties.
What I do wonder about is those members of the UN who were presumably consulted when this agenda was adopted and AGREED (?), how are they now handling it or even are now in opposition and have no intention of handling it at all, for instance perhaps it interferes with the rules of Islam, maybe not in the intentions, but the devil is always said to be in the detail.
And Islam has a lot of Devils
Knowing that some members are never going to implement it, it is crazy for NZ and the U.K. to get their feet wet first.
It’s the same as George Galloway’s call for nuclear free zone Dundee.
A tiny point about Fiat ( Government printed ) as opposed to digital currencies (third part y gamble ). Is that it does fluctuate but usually visibly. Although There are many signs ( Gold has not gone up, nor has FT , wheras Bitcoin is still South Seaing.Governments have many ponzi Schemes ( Financial term for Pyramid selling )
I have still managed to miss the point. Fiat currencies are useful and can easily be adjusted with pennies, or whatever etc. And not least, the fact that governments can play.
Besides which, Fiat is the gift which keeps on giving for the great , greedy, and the downright corrupt..
So, a while yet.
T G has a good point there about fiat currencies being useful to the greedy and TPTB. I hope he’s right.
The march of the selfish , stupid, cowardly. and spreaders of disease.
In times of emergency sensible behaviour is needed. Enforcement is needed for the stupid. I don’t want to be in the same room as these people.
Presumably you mean the unmasked Houses of Parliament?
(In the same vein as your last comment, who might want to be in the same room as you?)
Sorry Debbie Viv if it seems I playing the man rather than the ball. I’m just kicking it back that’s all.
Blimey, I had assumed Hairy was just being sarcastic ( a bit over egged but who cares ) and I was chuckling. Now you’ve got me baffled.
T G We knew his apparent change could not be trusted. His recent comment about immigration being the danger, was an obvious ‘oh look a squirrel’ diversion tactic.
Since no one on here is likely to agree with his comment today, it must be another squirrel I think.
What are we being diverted from? I wonder.
Harry, seems like the only place sanitised enough for you is err…….. outer space!
well said Harryagain. How fortunate we are that, even at this late stage, we can express our opinions. But I’m very wary of opinions which include ‘force’ or ‘enforcement’ to back them. IMHO, that is no different to “I’m right, you are wrong”, which is also a matter of opinion.
It’s a matter of science, not opinion.
These people are the equivalent of flat Earthers.
I wonder if they were ever educated? Did they pay attention at school?

This is disgraceful – right up there with the climate crisis scammers. No respect whatsoever for science and genuine scientists
Are you implying that the “climate crisis” is genuine? If so that really does imply a lack of respect for real scientists and statisticians who have exposed it as a scam.
Helena. Scientists are being ‘selected’ by TPTB. (That includes pharmaceutical companies.)
No one is suggesting that you personally have been corrupted away from doing genuine science.
