Winston’s quote captures not only a great truth, it shows why Trump and many other statesmen measure themselves against The Titan. His hard-earned wisdom, his humour and his doggedness gifted us with many apposite sayings, but at this moment maybe none more so than this one. With the publics’ world view largely dependent on what is fed to them by the powerful owners and influencers of the channels of communication, the import of his truism could not be greater than in this age of big data.
The billionaire silicon kids and the three-letter agencies are in the process of locking down all means by which knowledge can be transferred out-with their illicit control. Dystopia has arrived and we had better begin resisting or accept the knee on the neck. The scale of the problem was publicly demonstrated in Trump’s evisceration by the billionaire byte-boys, credited by the liberal former editor of Psychology Today, Dr Robert Epstein, with stripping away 6 million votes from the President, even before the fateful 3rd of November steal.
However, the massive preparatory barrage laid down by the information artillerists still proved inadequate to hold Trump’s whooping and hollering forces at bay, so the left’s reserve of cunning old fighting dogs was let slip in the wee hours onto the battleground states to carry the day. Counting stopped, observers, already hassled and thin on the ground, were told to come back in the morning when work would resume. What the digital boys could not achieve, the gnarled dirty-tricks veterans with countless fiddled elections under their belts could. Pressing on to victory, the now invisible operatives worked furiously in voter-production engine rooms, stoking their devices with re-usable Biden votes by the bag, the box and the suitcase – sometimes recorded, mainly ignored, never investigated. Trump lost.
In corner offices around the country, smiling directors must have sat back in their ergonomic chairs and chuckled at the TV as the rubes were fed the news. Biden, the most popular President in history. Really? Check the White House video channel and explain why videos have comments scrubbed and show dislikes outnumbering likes by many orders. And the dislikes’ numbers go down as time passes – how is that? Well, in the same magical way it happened on live TV on election night as Trump’s totals dropped in front of our eyes.
However, nothing to see here, the media mannequins trotted out the same scripted phrases, reading Democrat handouts as though they were the Gospel. And to question the result, to support the use of the Constitution’s procedural methodology – as Democrats in recent elections had, or to query the countless anomalies, who are you? You are one of those tinfoil-hat conspiracy nuts, uttering The Big Lie, stating that which cannot be stated – certainly not if you want to remain in your cushy woke-industry job. Goebbels and Riefenstahl are looking down in approval at their attentive apprentices, maybe even scribbling down a few notes.
Voters and the world have been played, with a flood to distract here (a leaky loo), a memory stick surreptitiously plonked in a pocket there. We are talking old hands with the revolutionists’ knowledge of the dark arts and dirty tricks. Forget bombing when you know it is who is counting that counts. The boys at the top have your back in this trillion-dollar business, judges, even supreme ones, no bother – no standing, you see. Conscience? We are ridding the world of the horrid orange man and his cult, could we do any other? And the ones with no conscience, they have power and the purse strings to open.
So, that battle was lost but the campaign is not over, the internet’s masters are not its only beneficiaries. Whilst they did sway many millions of votes with their finagling and their algorithms, they also host the YouTube bacteria and the podcast insurgents. These forces are gathering momentum, with figures outstripping CNN and the aged anchors. The race now on between the Democrat’s woke backers and the internet insurrectionists is about who can guide the serfs onto, or off, the road to the new gulag: who can get into their heads “firstest, with the mostest.”
The maelstrom of new executive orders and voter regulations are already shooting through wifi systems. Change, you ask, yes, we can! We can also treat the National Guard as they should be, parking their sorry butts on freezing car park floors. Who needs patriots when you have power? By the way, did you see the reception Trump received when he showed up at West Point just before the election? Worth a gander, Joe.
The China virus and its source are also being scrubbed, forgotten, un-investigated a year after closing down the world. If they can get away with it, why not the Yanks? What sources do you trust now? How do you grade the information you receive from your rag of choice? Don’t think, just absorb. This is what they want, cyphers into which they can pour their chosen line, their narrative and their control.
In the actual professionals’ intelligence trade, each source is graded on their proven reliability in the past. Even then, each report they deliver is assessed based on its own standing, and corroboration is vital if the information is to be graded highly. Several sources might be used without one knowing of the other, and thus greater clarity and veracity will result. Such a system seems to have passed the press by, long ago.
If the “greatest” US newspaper, The New York Times, famously lied to its readers back in the 1930s, with Walter Duranty’s whitewash of the Ukrainian genocide, one has to say that the controllers and their mouthpieces have not actually tumbled that far.
I’ll end at the beginning, looping back to Winston by way of Freud’s nephew, Edward Bernays, the father of Public Relations blather, and author of a classic on the dark arts, Propaganda, published back in 1928 – just before Walter ensured and welcomed Stalin’s Soviet Union’s recognition by FDR. The first lines of the book make plain the thinking and the actions of many of the dark triad rich and powerful:
“The conscious and intelligent manipulation of the organised habits and opinions of the masses is an important element in democratic society. Those who manipulate this unseen mechanism of society constitute an invisible government which is the true ruling power of our country.”
Nuff said.
Only one extremely effective way that the individual can do to fight back against the powerful, monopolist, media empires – don’t buy or use their products. Maybe it is our duty to stop buying their products?

Cant see any way out of all this though. The sheeple are truly brainwashed and appear to love their servitude and never question anything. Incredible. And there appears to be nobody in authority to help us push back; the authorities all over the world are corrupt without exception.
