The squirrels are big and nasty enough, but there are even bigger nastier beasties in the background, scarcely mentioned if at all, by the mainstream. Here’s a random round-up of some of them:
EU Security Treaty:
I am totally certain that the Government will shortly sign a Security Treaty with the EU. I maintain this would have been so even in the event of “No Deal”. Government maintains that this is necessary in the interests of effective cooperation with the EU over crime etc, but it will in reality subjugate us. I recommend Torquil Dick-Erikson’s articles generally but particularly this one!
In particular, the abominable EU Arrest Warrant will be maintained, providing a “grappling iron” for the EU Public Prosecutor to grab any one of us for no reason, kidnap and incarcerate us without due process for years. Even if this were not so, Torquil Dick-Erikson says that the 2003 Extradition Treaty needs amending to ensure that due process is observed in extradition cases.
EU Global Compact for Migration:
Everyone knows about the migrant dinghy arrivals. But the real biggie, this Compact, will kick in after “Brexit” is “finalised.”
It will doubtless open the floodgates on a scale never seen before, and further curtail European citizens’ rights particularly re free speech. No provision appears to have been made for the funding of this invasion, and no thought given as to the impact on employment and national resources. All first world countries were invited to sign but not all did. The US refused. But TMay bless her cotton socks, signed (needless to say). She who promised Brexit would mean Brexit, which would include control of borders and sovereignty! So much for that!
Former Independent MEP Janice Atkinson says here that the EU aim to migrate 59 million people from the 3rd world to Europe by 2025, and says that it will be legally binding.
My MP and others assured us the Compact wasn’t legally binding; but in this footage Janice Atkinson shows us a document dated 1/2/2019 by EU Commission Legal Service. Section 46 concludes that the Compact “has legal effects and will decisively influence control of legislation adopted by the EU”. Also, here is Vivian Evans’ two-part article re the Marrakesh Agreement, including the text.
Military:
This has been cleverly omitted from Brexit negotiations. Perhaps the Powers that Be were hoping we wouldn’t notice? Meanwhile the military- security spider’s web spreads its tentacles round us. UK Column has for some time been showing how this operates. E.g, the UK is still tied to the EU, Brexit or not, on the issue of defence procurement and operational cooperation. UK Column’s military spokesman David Ellis calls this the EU “Boobytrap”. The ultimate aim is to unite all EU states’ military capacity under single EU control. And the military is becoming “fused,”or embedded, in civilian affairs. Eg the 77th brigade snoops on UK citizens, and troops are being used to Test and Trace. The Powers that Be obviously regard us UK Citizens, as the enemy.
Brexit Withdrawal Agreement:
Here Richard Braine details some of the nasties contained therein. In particular, I draw attention to our £500billion liability in the event of EU investment banks’ failure. Ralph Protheroe’s article here details another consequence of the Withdrawal Agreement – the EU Joint Committee. UK Column frequently refers to the Government of Occupation that we now suffer from, although they don’t mention the Joint Committee by name. They show also how the Cabinet Office plays a central part and how power is gravitating to the Cabinet Office.
And finally …
Most people are aware of some of the past 9 months’ colossal assaults on civil liberties. But less publicised are: only one instead of two doctors’ signatures are now required on a death certificate, or to section people on mental health grounds. And the State now has power to grab us or our children on “Covid” grounds and send us to a “quarantining” centre. Big Brother Watch details the various outrages and the action they’ve taken to fight them. The Covert Human Intelligence Sources (Criminal Conduct) Bill , aka License to Kill Bill, ends the Rule of Law. It allows security and health officials and other authorities to commit criminal acts unpunished.
In conclusion, Covid 19 was a “beneficial crisis” providing a smokescreen for an unprecedented power grab and hemorrhaging of power to the globalists and EU.
The Government’s own statistics show no evidence of a “2nd wave” and therefore suggest that the current lockdowns and draconian restrictions are totally disproportionate and unjustified.
But of course the health of the nation is not the real agenda here …
Well done Mary, a bit more than a random round up – you’ve hit the nail firmly on the head of a number of aspects of a “clean” Brexit which are essential to replacing the Great in Great Brittain.
I use the word clean advisedly as it seems we are constantly wading in a sea of muck, every aspect of the national purpose is covered deliberately in filth and slime of neglect and obfuscation.
I agree with your views on all the issues you raise Mary .keep up the good fight and the inspiration.
WITHDRAWAL AGREEMENT
Thank you Mary Curran, for citing my article in Independence Daily of 25th January 2019 about the Joint Committee. In it I said that Article 132 in the Withdrawal Agreement allowed the Joint Committee to extend the transition period until “31st December 20XX”, so allowing the transition period to be extended until 31st December 2099.
Since then a reader’s comment pointed out that although that “20XX” clause was in Article 132 in the Draft Withdrawal Agreement published on 14th November 2018, it was not in Article 132 in the Withdrawal Agreement published on the 25th November 2018.
So as far as I can tell the “20XX” clause has disappeared from the Withdrawal Agreement, but I have not checked every page of the WA. The 14th November 2018 WA was 585 pages long, and the 25th November 2018 WA was 599 pages long. I believe the WA of October 2019 is 545 pages long.
However the “20XX” clause did show the ambition to extend the transition period until the end of this century. And that ambition could still be realised, if the EU side of the Joint Committee proposes extensions to the transition period, and the Court of Justice of the EU finds their favour, if those proposals are disputed by the UK side.
Jack Thomas. This was purely a typo, should be UN Global Compact. Many apologies.
It was pointed out by those in the know that this ‘Withdrawal Agreement’ was May’s in all but name.
On the website ‘Standup4brexit.com’ Johnson still gives his name to the PLEDGE to abandon May’s WA ”as dead”.
Is he forsworn, then? Is he dishonoured?
Another one from Breitbart:
‘Nail in the Coffin of Migration Target’: Tory Govt Cuts Salary Threshold for Migrants by £10k
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/10/26/tory-govt-abandons-salary-threshold-migrants-settle-uk-10k/
We’ll have long wait if we wait for our government to reduce migration, it looks more like that they are trying to encourage it.
I agree with every dot and comma..
It appears UKIP are slowly stirring under Hamilton and Walker.. Fingers crossed folks. It just remainsto be seen how the NEC will screw it up. I suppose they’ll follow the primeval system of Leading Lady and rutting spokespersons.
TG Spokes, did you not join the undemocratic Communist Party of China as I suggested a week or so ago, bearing in mind you don’t seem to like democratically run political parties. I just knew you would bring UKIP up yet again, it was written in the stars. Why you have a fixation on UKIP to the exclusion of any other party is beyond me. Neil Hamilton is however a far better leader and politician than all those who went before him since Nigel Farage resigned. He will make a far better fist of it that I am sure. However UKIP as a party has well and truly had its day. Its only salvation now is to undergo a radical rebranding exercise including a name change. To do otherwise would be utterly futile and pointless and they will just bump along at 0.1% in the opinion polls and getting nowhere fast.
Solid fact-filled interview here from UKIP members in Swansea. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JPYRg6R5Dgk
Ceri, I looked at the video, and no doubt two chaps doing their best, like I and many others did before the party was taken over by extremists and jokers. Also good video by Neil Hamilton, but until they go in for major reform and rebranding they are on a hiding to nothing. The present brand is so toxic that the vast majority of the electorate will simply not vote for it. The whole point to a political party is to gain representation on borough, district and county councils and to parliament. If they are not engaged in this and being successful, then it is a waste of time.
Look at this from Breitbart:
“How Do You Do, Fellow Kids: Parents Fearful After Balding Migrant Who ‘Looks 40’ Joins School”
https://www.breitbart.com/europe/2020/10/26/how-do-you-do-fellow-kids-parents-fearful-after-balding-migrant-who-looks-40-joins-school/
Good summary. Somehow I don’t think polite letters to our MPs are going to stop this. Maybe we could get a prominent black footballer on side to catch their attention? See the problem?
Matt up North ; I strongly recommend watching today’s UK Column broadcast. They suggest ways we can fight back. Its a question of many small battles fought with the pen.
Eg they and their readers research the connections and vested interests of say Government spokespeople aiming at making Covid look like a colossal current threat. Spread this information around far and wide if you can, to fight the lies.
They analyse and expose deceptive newspaper features, eg one re the Covid app, and the disgraceful smearing of Kate Shemirami using her own son.. Pass that on too.
Recently ordinary folk crowdfunded the defence of a gym owner who was fined and closed down. He’s now back in business !
And as far as I can glean, they challenged a wrongful conviction of someone who had his child taken away.. This resulted at least in the culpable Council bureaucrat stepping down.
Stuff like that. And they recommend keeping the “noise level” up ie writing to MPs and papers, even if nobody appears to be listening.
They also confirm foreign police are now already on our streets, eg at the Trafalgar Sq demo last Saturday.
PS Another weapon we can use is asking the authorities awkward questions , and embarrassing them with the answers; someone put a Freedom of Information request into Bucks NHS Trust as to how many Covid cases hospitalised in a recent month, Answer; none
EU Global Compact for Migration:
I thought his was the edict of the UN, not the EU but nevertheless it must stopped.
Military:
I still entertain a vain hope that the decent lads in the military might support their own people against a government seeking the oppression of all except themselves and their cronies. Unfortunately from experience and observation elsewhere it seems that they would have to double in number to succeed. If they are to remain subject to EU control then we are not an independent sovereign country.
I have thought for a long time that our escape from the EU would be best ensured by its destruction; maybe that is becoming our only way out, but we also need to be clear of the UN.
All of which will be ignored by the main stream media, local and central government , while the great mass are only interested in the next sound bite from Megan or Harry or some celebrity spouting nonsense on breakfast T.V which as most public service employees now ‘work’ from home’ is their main source of ‘information’ Will anything change here , most probably not. Fine succinct article Mary many thanks .
