Good or bad – if it’s on social media it’s a success
I’m still shunning our MSM and so I have no newsie news to offer. For the record, here’s the front page compilation and just going there for a quick scan made me feel sick: the same faces, the same mental contortions by editors to make themselves look as relevant as the subjects they write about.
Instead, I’ll take a close look at a phenomenon which we’ve all seen and mentioned for some time: the wokery pushed unto us in various adverts run by Big Businesses like department stores, the fashion industry and tourism, especially here at home. Haven’t we all wondered why they do it when the evidence is piling up that to ‘go woke’ means ‘go broke’? Well – there’s a reason … let me explain.
There’s one particular issue which hasn’t yet been pushed in adverts by Big Business over here as hard as it has been in the USA: transgenderism. It has however led to peak insanity in a beer advert. Five days ago Paul Joseph Watson picked this up in his video which provides the background (link).
You might ask why we should worry about an advert by a US Mega Brewery, for their drink which only has the letters ‘b-e-e-r’ in common with what we like to drink here in the UK. It’s only another advert which we forget in the blink of an eye, right?
Wrong. A few days later in a little essay (link) Konstantin Kisin observes that most people who buy yon drink or stuff from Nike also advertised by yon transperson, don’t know who he is or what the fuss is about. It’s only thanks to the outrage people express in their social media accounts that the algorithms those marketing managers look at show them that using wokery ‘works’: people talk about the advertised product, negatively or not doesn’t matter.
There are many examples of businesses making huge losses after pushing a woke agenda onto their prospective customers who simply refuse to buy products advertised in that way. So why do they do it? Why do these huge businesses suddenly feel the need to show how woke they are?
Our cousins across the Big Pond have found out why. The New York Post reported:
“[Business Executives are] handing out lucrative deals to what were once considered fringe celebrities because they have to — or risk failing an all-important social credit score that could make or break their businesses. At stake is their Corporate Equality Index — or CEI — score, which is overseen by the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ+ political lobbying group in the world. HRC, which has received millions from George Soros’ Open Society Foundation among others, issues report cards for America’s biggest corporations via the CEI: awarding or subtracting points for how well companies adhere to what HRC calls its “rating criteria.” (link)
This pressure goes further, and it won’t come as a surprise when you next see this:
“The CEI is a lesser-known part of the burgeoning ESG (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) “ethical investing” movement increasingly pushed by the country’s top three investment firms. ESG funds invest in companies that oppose fossil fuels, push for unionization, and stress racial and gender equity over merit in hiring and board selection. As a result, some American CEOs are more concerned about pleasing BlackRock, Vanguard and State Street Bank — who are among the top shareholders of most American publicly-traded corporations — than they are about irritating conservatives, numerous sources told The Post.” (link)
In his article in PJ Media summarising the NYPost report, Robert Spencer observes:
“This is why corporations seem so unanimously woke and unafraid to offend patriots: they know that “Go woke, go broke” is just a slogan, and that patriots have no equivalent to the ESG movement. […] So expect to see much, much more of Dylan Mulvaney. And when the string-pullers finally get tired of watching him prance around, they’ll just get another puppet. The show will remain the same.” (link)
That’s why protest actions, reported in yesterday’s article in PJ Media under the headline “Buyer’s Remorse? Bud Light Goes Quiet, Hasn’t Posted on Social Media Since Making Dylan Mulvaney Its Spokestrans” (link) won’t change much at all.
That’s why Kisin’s proposal, not to give these adverts the attention of public outrage, is neither here nor there. After all, not to protest means you agree, correct? ‘Tis ‘win-win’ for the corporate pushers of ‘ESG’.
Anyway, public outcries are ‘priced in’, as a welcome theatre by the usual suspects who are permitted to bark while the caravan, driven by Blackrock and other global corporations, just moves on, steamrollering over facts, driving Net Zero, Trans and anything else sounding the death knell of our society.
I wonder if they really believe they can ‘transform’ the West into a Schwabian ‘paradise’ even as huge swathes of the globe are simply disregarding them? They must have heard of China, Russia, India, Brazil, or indeed Africa. Perhaps they have secret agreements with the one country already subjecting their people to life with ‘social contracts’?
That’s all I have for today. Tomorrow I’ll take a look at the ‘New Elites’, shunning the ‘newsie news’ concocted by our MSM. Have a good day.
Talking about Black Rock, I came across this article below with further snippets of information about the skulduggery whereby Larry Fink and Black Rock gained so much power. (Didn’t Fink, and Gates too, come to dinner here at no 10 the night before the Coronavirus Act was passed, getting their claws into Boris Johnson).
Lifesite News is a bit of a mixed bag. It is primarily a Catholic publication but it has some interesting articles about the corporatist attack on us all.
It has been criticised for sometimes putting in clickbait videos about apparitions which they probably know are not true, but generate some income which they need to keep going. This to my mind doesn’t do them or their cause any good.

I`m with Viv regarding the collective headlines of the MSM being a load of tosh
and indeed I bought my Daily Telegraph today and there it was the headline
“GPs scrap services to cope with strikes”, apart from the fact that I wasn`t aware my GP ran any sort of “service”
There is a glimpse of actual news of (to me) importance, tucked away at the immediate bottom right hand side.
“Polish yards to help make British frigates”
It goes on to say
“Britain`s next generation warships are being partly made in Poland, despite a promise by ministers that the project would drive a renaissance in the UK shipbuilding, Polish yards are constructing blocks of hull for the new type 31 frigate………..Babcock sources said Poland was only responsible for a very small percentage of the work by value.
Page 17
Well turning to page 17, which turned out to be the Business section of the DT
there was the folowing headline
“Britain`s new frigates to be partly made in Polish yards”
“Babcock sources insisted that Poland was only responsible for a “very small” percentage of the work by value, with the aim of helping Warsaw prepare to build similar vessels for itself”
“When the competition to build the frigates was announced in 2017 as part of the country`s National Shipbuilding Strategy, the then, defence secretary Sir Michael Fallon described it as a huge opportunity for yards that would help to deliver a “renaissance” – he added “we have got to get back to making things”
“Admiral Lord West , a former Sea Lord and Chief of Naval Staff said
“………we want to get as much done in this country as you possibly can and we need to build our industry out. We need to build up our ship building industry and that was one of the things they declared in the Shipbuilding strategy”
Naval shipbuilding policy has been through various changes in recent years, with the National Shipbuilding strategy, produced by the industrialist Sir John Parker, suggesting work be given to a wider number of UK yards in order to break the dominance of BAE systems.
He called for a regular drumbeat of work to keep our yards operating.
Now I`m not going to trespass on Viv`s ground of the forensic analysis of “Betrayal”, but I have a couple of thoughts.
1) Why Poland – I remember back to the time I think it was Wilson when the building of “Standard” ships and order went to Poland for a dozen or so when our own shipyards were crying out for work – seem to remember Swan Hunters name!
2) Is this part of some secret defence deal we have done with the EU, whereby we standardise all equipment accross NATO and the EU.
3) Have we abandoned our own shipbuilding strategy because we cannot produce the power at the right price or provide enough steel for the hulls.
I think this “Betrayal” is important – what does anybody elese think
Oh and Sir John Parker really does know his stuff – read his book
The View from the Bridge, an Industrial Journey
Kindle 4.95?
“this “Betrayal” is important – what does anybody else think”
Highly likely I think
Generally speaking, its easier approach to looking at areas where we have NOT been betrayed as these would be so few. (I cant actually think of any).
Mary. I have been Managing Director of at least three Steel Companies. The three biggest being combinations of Rolling, Rerolling, Stockists, Founders, and huge varieties of offshoots such as tube, .Plate, Gas, flex and plated . Also running several using steel materials..
Harold WILSON an his tribe of political nincompoops. Did more damage to our country then ever the Nazis could have come close. to. Single handedly they disposed of 70 car firms… Also. Bus, utility , lorry, coaches Sector.. Shipbuilding,, Bearing and other common part producers. together with any other sectors that had a dominent market leader. ( They did this by taking over a sick market leader, then shovelling all the small companies into one big factory. ) thus magically according to their theorists, making them cheaper. ( Sad innit ) able to deal with a single union, and similar fairy tales.. They walked around with their pockets stuffed with Single orders which they were pleased to proudly announce to their constituents. All that was as well as a bit of gentle nationalisation.. Jollly
Then I fell out with about railways and the Midlands Loop.to revitalise the Midlands and the red wall.
Beats me, why posh women are still daft enough to wear very high stilletto heals!
Last para: I think that is very likely, maybe not aas a formal deal . The Chinese are very cunning. using the wretched Soros and the like.
I’m just reading this: their handbook maybe…https://suntzusaid.com/
Fiendish clever those orientals mary!
Fiendish clever those orientals, where-ever they walk, the ground is always beneath their feet (- Ref the Goons)
Soros in the background again. Who’d have thought? Amazing how such a small number of unsavoury (to say the least) creatures are driving this whole thing that none of us wants..
Kisin’s view about not givng the oxygen of publicity to the celebrities is a good one
Perhaps amazing too that those “creatures” have not been “dealt with”; I guess that their great wealth buys them some serious protection.
The wokest headline in today’s MSM.

Read and marvel at the madness!
As click bait is what they want HA, the are not going to get it. I’m done with the MSN. Mark Steyn online and Neil Oliver offer some respite.
Bloody thieves, these gestapo! We all have our gollies?
