Apologies for having to inflict the photo of that sleaze bag on you again – but needs must!
There’s one story filling today’s pages after The Sun published ‘that’ image yesterday – you know the one: Hancock in a steamy clinch with his ‘aide’. The reactions of the various players inside the Westminster village are utterly amazing – and disturbing.
It’s as if the whole covid empire has gone into hiding. Of course Matt-the-Han (MtH) went into hiding – but so did the PM. So did MtH’s cabinet colleagues. It’s as if the whole cabal of them are incapable of uttering one word of condemnation. Apparently, BJ’s dictum, that he considers the matter ‘closed’, means they’ll now also keep their mouths shut. Perhaps they are all waiting for Mrs Carrie J. to sort out the party line?
In any case, MtH’s statement ought to be kept for the record – but please have a sickbag handy before reading:
“Mr Hancock […] said: ‘I accept that I breached the social distancing guidance in these circumstances. I have let people down and am very sorry. I remain focused on working to get the country out of this pandemic, and would be grateful for privacy for my family on this personal matter’.” (link)
Aww bless! He’s sorry he sinned against his own rules, but see: he’s working so hard to end covid, therefore this little steamy peccadillo is surely irrelevant! After all, he’s the covid emperor and who if not he himself might be permitted to transgress? Rules, especially covid rules, don’t apply to VIPs. Give the ‘poor man’ some privacy’!
The gullible might think he should be cut some slack, hard-working as he is. Perhaps he was just overcome in a moment of sexual madness. However, The Sun has now published the whole video (link) – it’s definitely ‘adult viewing’ only! – and it shows that MtH actually checks the corridor to see if they’ll be undisturbed before ‘steaming’ ahead. He clearly knew full well what he was doing, ahem: going to do.
As for the PM, well-known for his own extramarital affairs: he certainly couldn’t sack MtH for something he himself has done on so many occasions, could he! Never forget though that BJ is a political animal and knows how best to get out of sticky situations. So letting ‘a spokesman for BJ’ give the MSM a statement rather than doing so himself means he’s left a nice little escape route open, for himself:
“The Prime Minister has accepted the Health Secretary’s apology and considers the matter closed.’ He added ‘all the correct procedures were followed’ in hiring Gina Coladangelo, who is paid £15,000 for around 15 days work per year.” (link)
No, BJ won’t be so crude and sack MtH but, mark my words, he’ll get various ‘men in grey suits’ to work on yon Matt over the weekend, making him resign voluntarily. After all, the PM couldn’t possibly be seen to follow the outcry of the opposition, demanding that MtH must be fired. BJ could most certainly not be seen to give in to the demands of us plebs, with polls showing that 50% of us, give or take a handful, want him gone (link).
There’s one aspect which is agitating our MSM more than the covid lawbreaking by MtH. It’s the question of security, of how this video was leaked and how it was made in the first place. Apparently, there are ‘no cameras inside a minister’s office’ …:
“The Telegraph understands Mr Hancock had no idea the camera existed when it captured him kissing adviser Gina Coladangelo, and government sources said it was “unheard of” for cameras to be installed in ministers’ offices. It raises the possibility that the camera was deliberately placed by someone with access to his office with the intention of catching the pair cheating on their spouses and breaking Covid rules. It is the first time a Cabinet minister has been filmed in their own office without their knowledge.” (paywalled link)
Funny that. Somehow I cannot believe that in our CCTV-obsessed society ministers’ offices are ‘camera-free’. But if that is indeed the case – who did install that camera? A private detective, trying to get material for a divorce? Or was it China? And nobody noticed? Odd. But see this:
“In a further twist, the Department of Health and Social Care’s offices use CCTV cameras made by the Chinese company Hikvision, which is banned in the US because of national security concerns.” (paywalled link)
So all the material filmed inside MtH’s palace, the DHSC, could be accessed by Peking? It gets even better – and note that the date of that clinch is actually mentioned in passing:
“The DHSC’s security team is conducting an urgent review of security in the building in Victoria Street, central London, where Mr Hancock and Ms Coladangelo were filmed on May 6, the day of the local elections. It is also in charge of a leak investigation to discover who gave the footage to The Sun newspaper, described by Whitehall insiders as a “massive breach of security”. […] The leak has also triggered a red alert in the Government over who could be spying on the country’s most senior ministers.” (paywalled link)
I wonder if the official security verdict will be that “Xi!” or “Putin!” did it. I would humbly suggest though that there’s a more important inquiry which must be launched, namely into the securities services who clearly cannot have swept those Whitehall offices with sufficient diligence, having failed to discover such hidden cameras. Here’s a delicious thought though: perhaps they knew but didn’t warn ministers they’d be ‘on camera’. After all, one never knowns when some such juice material might come in handy.
And so to the important point of that ‘clinch date’ which took place on the 6th of May. The various MSM commentators in their opinion pieces are fulminating about MtH’s breach not just of his rules but the covid law in place on that day which made ‘indoor gatherings between people from different households’ illegal while, if necessary for work, the 2 metre distance ought to have been observed.
However – the question which should be asked is why this video was released now? Why not at the time when the covid cabal was deciding that we couldn’t have our freedom bacK? Why not earlier, in May? Did the ‘video maker’ sit on it? Did The Sun? We surely deserve to know – not that our ever so diligent covid MSM will try to find out.
Hidden towards the end of their articles some MSM writers hint at a much more valid political reason for BJ to make MtH resign:
“It also emerged that Ms Coladangelo’s brother is an executive at a private healthcare company that has been awarded NHS contracts worth millions of pounds since she became an adviser to the Department of Health.” (paywalled link)
That’s a bit more serious than having an affair and breaking one’s own law. But it’s ‘only money’, after all. Perhaps some analysts might dig a bit deeper for tomorrow’s Sunday editions. However, as long as they are more concerned with speculating about who might replace MtH – the ‘vaccine tsar’, Mr Zahawi, is the front runner – not much will be heard about this.
While The Times editors rightly point out that this sordid affair might erode public trust in further covid measures (link, paywalled), Fraser Nelson in the DT is desperately trying to keep on the sunny side of both BJ and MtH should he be retained:
“The Hancock story is embarrassing, not devastating. But unless the Prime Minister can supplant this unfortunate affair with his own story – about how he’s going to use the vaccine success to deal with the web of Covid regulations that are no longer needed – then the affair may come to symbolise a government that is losing control.” (paywalled link)
Yeah right: breaking the covid law one has callously enforced – Allison Pearson had a great comment piece yesterday (paywalled link) – is only embarrassing, so move on, peasants! No, we won’t. We’ve lost trust in this government already and they are losing control over us, ever since those G7 images, reinforced by the decision to permit footie VIPs to come and go without needing to observe Hancock’s ‘laws’.
I close with a battle cry, paraphrasing a comment post I picked up yesterday: “Muzzle wearers are supporting Hancock-the-lawbreaker”. True – so: off with the muzzles and
KBO!

Could Hancock have been said to have. De-Matt-erialised?.
Never forget – whilst we are all distracted by squirrels rabbits and the odd snake, they are resolutely ignoring the PCR test. We need to keep the PCR test front and centre at all times – it’s a fraud, it spews false positives – and ram this message home constantly until the pandemic narrative collapses like a pack of cards.
This is the one issue that will do the job all by itself. Don’t waste it. Never let up.
The Freedom March and how we have all had a basinful of the restrictions imposed on our lives. Alex Belfield tells it as it is.
Well posted Ceri could we at last be on the way?
Never seen or heard of this chap before – he speaks well and perhaps inspiringly
Could he be the one to take the national helm of leadership?
Roger. Alex Belfield posts about 6 features a day on Voice of Reason You Tube.
He resigned! Matt-the-Han is gone, and he ‘resigned’ from his marriage as well – see this in the DM:
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9728531/Matt-Hancock-resigns-Health-Secretary-kissing-aide-scandal.html
Here’s a quote that shows he was the shifty bastard to the end:
“Now, it has come to light that the Health Secretary told his wife, Martha, that he would be leaving her on Thursday night – immediately after discovering that his affair with Gina Coladangelo was about to be laid bare.”
He knew on Thursday – did nothing on Friday, let BJ ‘support him’ anyway – and now, two days later, he’s gone. He did clearly hope he’d be able to sit it out.
What a … words don’t fail me but I’d have to ban myself if I were to use them here.
And….I’ve just read that the rotten, selfish, self centred little bu@@er woke up his kids to tell them he was leaving! Why couldn’t he just leave them to have their night’s sleep? No he had to spread the misery right down as far as his kids!!!!! For once I can’t think of anything bad enough to say that would cover my extreme disdain for this hateful apology for a man!!!!
Hi Viv glad to see you back
My theory this goes back to the Cummings “trial” he attempted a demolition job on Hancock, unfortunately Hancock had his jury fixed already “where’s the evidence?” Was the cry, apparently Cummings hadn’t provided it.
Of course he hadn’t he wasn’t allowed to access the stuff he had fed into his private lap top.
But it does sound to me that he had an ace up his sleeve, particularly as this video is said to go back to May 6, he must have had friends somewhere who fixed up a camera, could he have friends in intelligence? What about old Spedwell that he said he got on with,or what about all the alteration work which was being done inside, could have been slipped in when a bit of remedial work was being done.
I would take a bet it’s Cummings revenge.
This sordid affair does not reflect well on Boris Johnson at all, and I feel will not bode well for the long term future of his premiership either. He and his ministers have expected the population at large in Britain to strictly adhere to the excessive restrictions placed on our lives, not being able to go where we like, and not being able to see whom we like, and we have had to endure this utter garbage for 16 months which has see the economy utterly trashed for no good reason, thousands of businesses go to the wall and several millions made unemployed. And if this wasn’t enough we have seen the spectacle of Johnson and other world leaders at the G7 conference acting as if nothing is happening, where they are not complying with the social distancing rules or wearing face masks that he and Hancock put in place, and now we have Matt Hancock himself, the cretinous creature that he always was, not only letting his wife and three children down, but seen snogging with a woman outside his immediate social bubble at his office and whilst he is on duty. And with all the evidence laid bare at his feet what does Johnson do……absolutely nothing but dither and make excuses, which just about sums up his performance to date. Hancock should have been dismissed, not allowed to resign because the press pressurised him to do so Not good enough, and not good enough by far. This country deserves better, and now is the time for Johnson to hand over the premiership of this country to someone who has got a bit of backbone, who is positive and upbeat and acts in the best interests of the citizens of this country. He is quite simply not up to the job.
I was just watching the Freedom March in London on Youtube, it looks to be a very big event. Another link here:
Anti Lockdown Protest – London | 26/6/21
https://youtu.be/hy7bmdDGKZ8
Yet the Telegraph and most other newspapers are wittering on about Hancock’s resignation, I’m glad that the hateful little man has resigned but you’d never guess that there was anything going on in London at all.
The demo was great! Wonderfully friendly.
I hope Hancock is ‘persuaded’ to resign though flyer’s link to youtube said he had refused.
Come on BJ, please, find someone honest and trustworthy to replace him. O.K., I realise that is highly unlikely.
As for blaming Russia for ‘bugging’ the office – for gawd’s sake how gullible do they think we are.
A great Betrayal article today Viv.
Thank you, Pauline!
😉
Seconded re Betrayal article
Not highly unlikely., impossible, that BoJo will replace this txxd with someone honest.
Nobody who isn’t rotten need apply for a job in the upper echelons of the Tory party.
Viv you always have a knack of selecting the right photo for every article. I remember one where a black and white collie (?) had chewed up a document or something and the caption was “Its the Russians wot done it!!!”
LOL – I remember that one vividly!
Maybe he set it up himself so he would get the sack at the right time so he doesnt end up being the scapegoat for this debarcle. Or maybe he has been set up by his lady friend. It looks very staged to me. Doris wont want him gone before the blame has been dolled out will he.
Hez. It looks like hammy acting and playing to the camera to me. What could their motive be?
HEZ Have you been reading about Watergate ?!?
Thats exactly what I thought, like everything else they do. All theatre.
According to one of the Cummings leaks, Our Boris described Handcock as “(expletive deleted) useless”.
If that is the case, why is he still a Cabinet Minister?
I suspect little Matty is unsackable on account of his recorded connections to the Davos/WEF set. You all know the ones… That German who looks like the villain from a James Bond movie, Dear Uncle George from Hungary and Lord William of Gates…
…and of course the silly man is only imitating his beloved leader, who has a head start on him when it comes to lying and cheating.
Methinks, you are not far wrong. This is no Bercow affair – a politico who went totally rogue. This lothario knows too much, is a yes man to the top of his boots and if he does walk, it may well be into a big NGO job.
Sadly Jake, I think you’re right! These slimy people never really pay the full price for their iniquities! Someone will take him on and pay him shedloads of money. It’s just like Osborne when he left government. And I see he has also dumped his wife for a newer model!!!!
dickatbarn. Yes I remembered that bit from Cummings. Perhaps Boris planted the bug !!
Yes quite so Dickatbarn. Johnson is in the ‘glasshouse’ situation. He durst not throw a stone! Any suggestion of censure from Johnson would be greeted with derision! He is scarcely in a position to criticise others!
Let’s hope this is the first link in the chain that will break. Keep the pressure on. Write to your MP, phone your local radio station. Write/email any media outlet.
Listen to Talk Radio, Julia Hartley Brewer is a more effective opposition to this a government than the Labour Party.
If the poisoned dwarf does get sacked or resigns, the next battle will be over who replaces him.
Johnson will want another traitor who is on the globalist payroll to replace him.
Gove, Schapps, Hunt or Zahawi for example.
Support any Government minister who makes anti covid noises.
Like those whose who spoke out against the ridiculous mask wearing last week.
(Sunak, Eustace & Rees-Mogg).
Make no mistake all this covid pandemic issue is cover for a war.
A war for the future of our Country.
Johnson, Gove, Hancock etc are our enemies.
They are on the side and the payroll of the globalist elite.
The World Economic Forum, the UN, the EU and WHO are not our allies.
Nor are the tools of the 1%, Gates, Soros, Tedros, Blair, the Clintons, Biden & Obama etc.
They are the enemies of our world, our freedoms and our way of life.
Oppose the Government wherever you can.
Vote against the 4 main political parties whenever you get the chance.
(Cons, Lab., Lib-Dems & Greens). They are all the same or similar.
Burn your masks.
Refuse to comply.
Very well said and especially your last paragraph.
For more than 50 years we have seen the poltical establishment hollowed out as they withdrew into supranational institutions where the “horizontal” approval of other politicians and institutions has outweighed the “vertical” support of the electorate.
Jake – brilliant statement which I shall plagiarize without apology.
Ex President Trump, you know the one, erased from history, is available for running a country.
And dont tell me he’s not British. He has more right to represent us than many of the type of punters who are born of etheopian and sudanese parentage, brought up in nigeria and similar.
Under his Governance, I can see (on day one!)
– the Surrender Agreement Treaty torn up
– trade deals with other countries for the benefit of Britain
– fisheries reclaimed
– illegal immigration stopped dead – if necessary (with no wall reqd)
– no money to foreign Bruxxels based entities
– Northern Ireland back as part of Britain
And many other measures designed to sort the country out for the benefit of OUR country.
What’s not to like?
Oh I wish Biscotte! If only if only!
Agreed Frederica and Biscotte. I said, way back, if only we could have Trump as our P.M..
Way to go John! I’ve definitely stopped wearing a mask and feel so liberated by it. People are talking to me and smiling back when I smile at them. You can see the returned smiles in their eyes! No one has challenged me. It has been a revelation!
Video footage leak latest. A senior unnamed government official suspects it was the Russians wot dun it?
Well, of course – didn’t I say so? It was Putin wot dunnit, but how he got the video when it was recorded on a Chinese camera which surely must’ve allowed Xi to see the thole thing … perhaps both Xi and Putin know all about MtH’s erotic video?
Btw – that video, if it’s still available, is really something else! “Steamy” doesn’t even begin to describe it.
Here’s the video. He’s got his hands all over her bum and everything.
“Watch Matt Hancock affair video as he kisses Gina Coladangelo in his office after checking the coast”
https://youtu.be/7QFOWdZbVac
Excellent!!!! In any ‘normal’ time this would be enough to scupper not only the little weasel himself but also Johnson et al! There are so many stories about the highly questionable awarding of contracts to ‘family and friends’ throughout this appalling period that is should really be enough to bring down the government! Misuse of public money coupled with outright sleaze has been a government breaker many times (and not just in Britain!).
The fact that Johnson chose to consider the matter closed is predictable. His own record (as you said yourself Viv) is considerably less than’white’! If they do replace MtH with Zaharwi they will simply be replacing like for like. Mr Zahawi’s background would not bear too much scrutiny I suggest!
PS. We are glad to see you back today. We were all worried about you yesterday!
Thanks, Frederica. Yesterday I was only laid low by a vicious migraine … couldn’t be helped.
MIgraines are grim. I’m sorry to hear you were suffering. Look after yourself today!
Will do!
🙂
Glad to see you back again Viv, I missed being ‘daily betrayed’ yesterday.
Does anyone have a link for live footage of today’s rally in London, Ruptly seems to be concentrating on a Free Palestine rally and not the main event.
Thanks
Beth
Thanks,Beth – and sorry to’ve had to miss yesterday’s instalment.
I’ve got no video links to the London march, sorry.
Found a link:
Feverfew, but not on an empty stomach.
JF
Thank you for the link, after much searching I also found that Subject Access and Resistance GB, on their respective You Tube channels, were doing live streaming, so have saved the links for the next rally. I think both are on Twitter too so they will probably indicate on there where and when they will be streaming again. Subject Access is at @SubjectAccess and Resistance GB is at @GbResistance.
Pretty much all the political clique and SAGE have links with Big Pharma in one form or another; shares, donations, or as ex-employees. I seem to remember seeing that Zahawi worked for GSK. It may have been UK Column showing all their vested interests. I kick myself fo not saving the link. Search engines, once a boon, are useless now they are policed and scoured and weighted. I can find no references at all. Can anyone help?
I’m kicking myself too Phil. I had a really intensive expose of this man and kept it open for ages but like a fool I didn’t save the link. I expect it was the same one you saw. I remember thinking that he was not the right man to be allowed near positions of power!
Opposition to the dictatorship which has seized power is about to burst into the open at last – and big London demo today.
Michael I wish all those who are able to attend the very best day and a successful mission! Those of us who would like to be there but are unable to be so, are all with you in spirit and resolve! I look forward to a report of events and some wonderful heartening pictures! Excelsior!!
Not a lot to say except it was huge effective friendly and saw no arrests. Plenty on Youtube. Covered in the Mail this time.
