In my wanderings through the byways of the internet I often come across interesting new people and youtube channels. Today I’ll introduce you to one such which has very quickly become indispensable to me. More on that below. First, a quick glance at our beloved MSM and their print edition headlines (link) which mostly scream about La Truss going to ‘rip up’ the NI protocol which the HoL will try to prevent.

Let’s leave it at that but let’s mention that President Biden doesn’t like it. Therefore, “A delegation of influential US congress representatives will fly to London within days amid growing concern in the White House about spiralling tensions over the Northern Ireland protocol” (link). A bit like the diplomatic ‘charm offensive’ the US bombarded India with in their attempt to get India to support the ‘sanctions’. We’ll see if our government will turn out to be as resilient as the Indian one.

Let’s now take a quick look at a few other bobs and bits regarding ‘our response’ to the war in Ukraine. The DT has an interview with Brigadier Nick Cowley, Commander of 16 Air Assault Brigade Combat Team:

“British troops are “ready to go and fight” Russia in a “lethal” way if called upon, the head of an elite unit has said. “It’s very present and I think it’s something we need to keep reminding ourselves about,” he said. In an interview with The Telegraph from North Macedonia, where Brig Cowley’s troops are leading the Nato Exercise Swift Response, he warned that the war in Ukraine represented the absence of “freedom”, which he said the West had “taken for granted” in recent years.” (paywalled link)

Well, I dunno where that Brigadier was in the last couple of years. The ’freedom we have taken for granted’ of which he speaks was conspicuously absent, if I remember correctly. That ‘freedom’ is also conspicuously absent in the Ukraine, where even before the war democratic parties were ‘forbidden’, with the last one now having been ‘liquidated’ on Thursday (link). Is that the ‘freedom’ our soldiers are happy to defend? Is that the ‘freedom’ we can expect to happen here in our country?

And so to the latest piece of propaganda news and to the youtube channel I mentioned above. The gentleman who runs it is very clever. Like many others he’s been clobbered by youtube censorship where ’community moderators’ remove anything which runs counter to the official russophobe party line. Unlike others who moved over to other video channel providers like Bitchute, Odysee or Rumble, he is fighting back. Being English, he does it with irony, mentioning that Russian sources are of course all propaganda while his voice and body language suggest the opposite.

He has published two hugely important videos in the last couple of days. The first one relates to the ‘shock-horror’ report which the DT and The Times have on their front pages. The headlines of both papers are that ‘Russian soldiers shoot Ukrainian civilians, the DT being a bit more lurid than that in the times:

“Russian soldiers seen shooting Ukrainian civilians dead in chilling CCTV footage – Two soldiers shown exchanging words, lifting rifles to their shoulders and firing at victims at bicycle shop outside Kyiv” (paywalled link)

Both papers acknowledge that they copied this report from the BBC which copied it from a video report by CNN. Well, here is the meticulous analysis by that youtuber, ‘iEarlGrey’ who only asks questions … have a look at the comments as well:

Two days ago he produced another video about the biolabs in the Ukraine. This video is based on the meticulous analysis of all the documents which fell into Russian hands. Mr ‘iEarlGrey’ simply gives chapter and verse and quotes from the official Russian report. One might have thought that our covid-obsessed government and our MSM might have taken notice – but no. And why should they – these documents have been presented to the UN where only ‘non-western’ countries took note. No worries, aye! See for yourselves:

I leave you with a rather upsetting essay in regard to the entry of Finland into NATO. Read it in full, even though it is upsetting. Obviously, the ‘diplomats’ populating the foreign ministries in ‘Teh West’ have become of such low educational standards that they are unaware of treaties and consequences. The same goes for governments such as Latvia where they now ‘fight Russia’ by removing war memorials for WWII Soviet soldiers (link).

And finally, one tiny sliver of silver lining: Sen Rand Paul  has single-handedly denied the passage of that $40bn aid bill for the Ukraine, demanding that

”the legislation be altered to require an inspector general to oversee spending on Ukraine. Without his agreement, the Senate must follow a lengthy process stipulated by the chamber’s arcane rules.” (link).

Seems reasonable to me! I wish we had similar ‘inspector generals’ overseeing the spending of our money, be it for ‘help the Ukraine’, be it for ‘funding refugees’, be it for the behemoth, sorry: the Sacred Cow, and that they ‘inspect’ or audit how our money is being spent while it is flowing out, not years later.

Didn’t a Tory MP complain that people don’t know how to budget and need to be taught? I suggest our Westminster swamp dwellers need such lessons in how to budget properly with great urgency. After all, if we can do it, if we can budget for tightening our belts because of inflation – why should they be let off the hook?
