The Police: only doing what they’re told to do and nothing more …
This morning the front pages again sing in unison: “Newspaper headlines: ‘You can rest now, Nikki’ and Biden’s Ukraine trip” wrote the BBC ‘staff’ who has to produce the usual early-morning compilation (link). If you check it out you’ll find that only the broadsheets have Biden’s ‘surprise’ visit on their front pages.
Only the Star dares to differ, referring on their front page to the ‘sensitivity editors’ mangling the children’s books by Roald Dahl. Isn’t it astonishing that those ‘sensitive’ souls aren’t campaigning for a boycott of those books rather than mangle them? After all it’s parents who buy childrens books, innit. Surely the sensitive woke brigade could provide ‘guidance’ to parents?
That begs another question: who are the editors in the publishing houses giving in to those ‘sensitivity’ demands? They used to be, by all accounts, fierce ladies who’d do battle with authors about their sloppy language. And now?
Perhaps they’re of the same caliber as the Detective Superintendent, a Ms Rebecca Smith, who is responsible for the police crash the investigation of that poor Ms Bulley has turned into. After all, she must have signed off on providing the ‘news’ about Ms Bulley’s personal difficulties which the MSM now lambast – after having spread thema cross their front pages, of course.
I’ll just say that, had a male Superintendent done this, he’d be told to take early retirement, now. Since it was a female, well … she’s only acted like “Duchess Whinge”, slyly undermining other females by talking about hormones. The wonderful thing is of course that feminists have been screaming for decades that the male description of females being prey to their hormones was a disgusting lie, perpetrated by the patriarchy. Of course, it’s all different when we do it, innit, laydees?
Speaking of the police, there were two intriguing reports in The Times yesterday. One comes under ‘serves you right’ as it reports on the woeful state of Whitehall – the actual area, that is, not the institution:
“Whitehall has declined into a “degree of squalor and disorder” with soaring rates of violent crime, according to a think tank.Violent crime has risen two and a half times faster in the streets around parliament than in London as a whole and three times faster than in the borough of Westminster as a whole. The report, published by the Policy Exchange think tank, has prompted fears for the safety of MPs, their staff, workers on the parliamentary estate and tourists visiting the area.” (link, paywalled)
Well, that’s what happens when nobody works there any more “because WFH!” and when there’s no police presence because most officers have to pursue hate crime online. Anyway, it surely would be a sign of ‘police brutality’ if they prevented these violent crimes! Furthermore, “we” have no money to tidy up that iconic area.
The other report referred to a waily ‘statistic’ about deaths after police restraints. The headline is the programme: “Black people held by police are more likely to die”. The whole thing was copied by The Times from the grauniad, but I’ll not go there. See this (my emphasis):
“Black people are seven times more likely to die after police restraint than white people in the UK, analysis has showed. The racial discrepancy is revealed in a report released by Inquest, a charity that helps families bereaved after contact with the police or state. […] Inquest said: “From 2012-13 to 2020-21, there have been 119 deaths involving restraint recorded by the [Independent Office for Police Conduct] ‘in or following police custody’ or recorded as ‘other deaths following police contact’. Of these 23 were of black people, 86 were white, five were Asian and four were mixed race.” The report, I Can’t Breathe: Race, Death and British Policing, said that taking the make-up of the population into account, black people were seven times more likely to die.” (link, paywalled)
There are no numbers given for the ‘make-up of the population’, never mind the make-up of prison inmates. Here’s the government statistic:
“Black, Black British, Caribbean or African” was 4.2% (2.4 million) “Mixed or Multiple ethnic groups” was 3.0% (1.7 million) “White” ethnic groups was 81.0% (45.8 million) (link).
Perhaps neither the grauniad nor the research group wanted to touch the numbers for this racial issue since it undermines the lefty drive in the MSM and in commerce of painting British society as black and coloured, whiteys being eradicated from those images.
I do wonder why they also didn’t tell us the make-up of prison inmates. After all, there’s a report in the grauniad, published in March 2022, giving just those numbers. Have a look if you must, especially since, in a subordinate clause, they write that ‘the pandemic’ began in late 2019’ (link). I don’t need to emphasise that this latest ‘report’ illustrates wonderfully how woefully ignorant of basic statistics all those researchers, reporters and writers are.
And so to yon other ‘big issue’: the ongoing war in the Ukraine and Biden’s ‘surprise’ visit. I’m ‘surprised’ Washington was able to stop leaking this visit, with our own MSM also playing this game. After all, when the US President goes on a journey, there’s a whole entourage involved. On the Kiev side, streets had to be cleared for the proper theatre. Did no one notice anything? Really? Anyway – there were nice photo ops, splashed across today’s MSM. I was impressed by how Mr Biden looked like a rich American uncle visiting a scruffy relative …
Closer to home, there’s the DT underlining their position as premier warmongering paper by leading with the demand by Johnson and Truss:
“Boris Johnson and Liz Truss heap pressure on Rishi Sunak to send fighter jets to Ukraine – Former prime ministers unite in call for lethal weapons to be sent to Kyiv sooner” (paywalled link).
It looks as if they didn’t hear anything their own Minister of Defence, Mr Wallace, has been saying about the state of our Armed Forces. Pointing fingers at Sunak from the back benches, without responsibility, is easy. If they think that this war cry will give them a bonus with their constituents they better think again.
I leave you with an announcement which our wonderful MSM are so extremely relaxed about that they don’t mention it. President Putin will give a speech today where unbiased observers expect to learn more about the ongoing war. TASS is still accessible, methinks, so here’s the link to that announcement, in English.
And finally, another outstanding analyst has created his own site on substack where he/she/it looks at the situation in the Ukraine and related world news. Here’s his latest article – the earlier ones are also a must-read, long as they are.
That’s all I have for today. Every morning I think I couldn’t become more dissatisfied with our MSM , only to have eye expectations, low as they are, dashed again. At least the days are getting longer. We don’t need any ‘guidance’, especially ‘female’ guidance, to notice that. Have a good day.
I alway find it hard to understand why our Political Ministers and civil servants are do soft and always submit to the EU. They fail time and time again to get the correct outcome for Britain.
If thr Eu bull is not for turning open the gate an chase it away We do not need the trade.

Hopefully Sunak will be prevented from any deal which transfers any part of our sovereignty to the EU. Given the number of EU supporters in parliament and government office I am not confident.
Jack…….well, look at it this way. Sunak was reported last week that he was going to Belfast to speak with the various political parties there about the NI protocol and that there would be an announcement of deal between him and the European Commission the following day. Sunak was quite rightly told by the Democratic Unionist Party that they would not accept their sovereignty being given to the European Commission and that the province shouldn’t be treated any differently from the rest of the country. And following that it was reported that up to 100 Conservative MP’s would rebel against his plan as well. Almost a week has passed and there has been no announcement of a deal between the government and the Commission, and when he went to Germany Sunak wended up talking about Ukraine. Sunak will be toast if he agrees to judges of the European Court of Justice any say over the trade deal in Northern Ireland. The Conservatives are on the edge of a precipice here and the mass of problems that they have failed to sort out and act in the best interest of the citizens of this country are mounting. They will be on the road to electoral oblivion if they make the wrong decisions now as things are coming to a critical stage fourteen months off a general election. They will not be forgiven for the shambles they alone have created.
Harking back to yesterday – the U.N. monitor who buys what sort of mobile phone we buy. It is done via Amazon UK, under the pretence of the danger posed by transporting lithium batteries.
I am very disappointed that Truss has joined Bojo in wanting to send fighter jets to Ukraine. I thought she had more sense.
PB- Jets? What? Both of them?
Pauline…..very few Conservatives have got any sense. I don’t care much what anything of them say anymore, and Labour are just as dire They are a thoroughly discredited party and are heading for electoral oblivion. Johnson will lose his Uxbridge seat for sure come what may. They won’t be happy until we reach a point that this country will not be able to defend itself. It takes a long time to train pilots, and then if the jets were sent there, who would maintain them and where and with what tools. No thought goes into anything they come out with. In May when the local elections are held I will not vote as there is nobody worth voting for. The Conservative Party can go to hell……..
Off topic but very relevant now regarding low traffic neighbourhoods. https://petition.parliament.uk/petitions/632748
Also ‘re Flyer’s post last night on Ohio. I don’t believe in coincidences either.
Lisa, Flyer- I watched White Noise a couple of days ago. I would not recommend as it is oriented around a drug (undefined). The train crash was a very small part.
Such neighbourhoods are the thin end of the wedge. What’s next? Confining people to their own neighbourhoods where their every move will be controlled.
I’m reposting a comment I made on my article yesterday, it’s about the UN. We need to realise that this is an enemy organisation that is in the process of doing more damage to our country and the wider world than Adolf Hitler.
A video from Stop World Control: The Secrets of the United Nations.

Agreed flyer @8.36am. U.N. is an enemy organisation. Trump was right. Interesting that he failed to get re-elected.
More funkyprepper, some up to date information about the migrant influx into B&Bs.
“UK B&B MIGRANT INFLUX”
Sorry to hijack Viv’s post but you should all see this and I suppose it does touch on the racial issue mentioned here.
I know for some of you he’s not your favourite Youtuber but here funkyprepper goes into depth about the migrant accommodation plan, it goes further than you could imagine. Here serco’s mission statements and objectives are put under scrutiny, this is an organisation that finds accommodation for migrants to the UK. serco is now offering lucrative long term contracts to landlords for all sorts of property from houses to community facilities and all on a massive scale.
This migrant crisis has only just started, they will get to live in fine style at our expense while we struggle with a cost of living crisis and will end up living on the streets. I’ve seen some of the UN and WEF strategic reports and it’s obvious that this migrant invasion is planned to continue for a long time.
The vast majority of these illegal migrants, apart from a few token women and children are all very fit military aged men, this is a carefully planned invasion to take our country away from us.
“THE UK MIGRANT ACCOMMODATION PLAN EXPOSED”
Well, the Lancashire police were right all along about the whereabouts of Ms. Bulley, they said early on they thought she was in the river. Still lots of much harder to answer questions about how she got there.
The specialised “search expert” was on the box making his excuses for saying she definitely wasn’t there.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4_bLSQ6Cig8
There’s a lot of wannabe celebrities these days makes an unlikely public pronouncement in the hopes they’d be right and able to broadcast “I told you so” later.
The old adage about “Lies, damned lies and statistics” still holds.
But she wasn’t ‘in the river’, was she! She was found in reeds where the police ‘wasn’t tasked to look’ according to one report in the MSM, somewhere yesterday.
Viv- what can I say…. Armitage as usual posted this for fun just to see if you can get the readership all worked up – but successful in as far as abusing and annoying not only posters, but the moderator also! And not for the first time.
You alone Viv have the ability to block this potteries punter. I’m sure if you took a straw poll of readership, he’d be long gone. And HFA has appeared on other sites where they have told him to fuzz off.
Forgive my London style comment – ‘do us a favour Viv’. And remember
DON’T FEED THE TROLL
Yes, I do have that power but I’m patient … and anyway, doesn’t a well-known troll spice things up a bit???
Amusing maybe. Humourless and antagonistic – no.
I fail to see what is wrong with Harold Armitage’s comment. The debate about where
Ms Bulley might be used the term ‘river’ as an alternative to her wandering off, being abducted etc. Reeds by the river are in effect the river in that sense. The specialised ‘search expert’ has made excuses, and the police were right that she was in the river, That their search appears to have been defective and the recent press conference a disaster, does not alter that bare fact. The autopsy may shed some light on how she ended up in the river (or its reeds if you wish to be pedantic) – fell, pushed etc. And there have been a lot of attention seekers peddling speculative theories.
One cannot infer from a factually accurate comment that Mr Armitage had any intention to “get the readership all worked up” on this occasion. Irrespective of fallacious mind reading, I fundamentally disagree with Biscotte’s wish to see him cancelled on this site. If she cannot cope with Mr Armitage’s comment then it is for her to leave the site and not try and censor what I and others may choose to read.
“DON’T FEED THE TROLL.”
i agree. But Biscotte you’re the worst offender !!!!! Practice what you preach !!!!!!!
I’m dumb and speechless about everything else that’s going on, sick to my stomach about it all. As Flyer says, supranational enemies like UN are trying to take total control ; d the only solution is for each and every one of us, the ordinary public and especially those in key jobs like the chief of SERCO ( seen here in Flyer’s Funkyprepper video) , to refuse to go along with any of it. I get white with rage when I hear that phrase “only doing my job.”
I didn’t open the Funkyprepper link but my own search suggested that serco is one of our ‘enemies within’.
Mary- the posts were about a missing woman not the UN.
Harry and the last word are all yours.
Harry F Armitrage:- What’s that old adage about ”Lies, damned lies and statistics”. Oh yeah I remember – ‘better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and to remove all doubt’.
Whatever the situation is with regard to this woman and the many thousands who go missing every year, the police should be left to do to carry out their investigations without outside interference including so called private specialist search teams, and other so called well intentioned people sticking their oar in. That private search team whatever way you want to look at it was a failure. Now that the woman in question has been found the whole matter should be left in the hands of the police and the Coroners Court to establish facts, and the findings explanation limited to those of her family. Our media, printed or otherwise are an absolute disgrace, and I am not not interested in anything they have to say about anything.
