SAVE LIVES – GIVE US BACK OUR FREEDOM AND DEMOCRACY AND SAVE OUR JOBS AND LIVELIHOODS!
We are writing to you on behalf of us, the ordinary people, who want to have our Democracy back and do not want to lose our jobs, livelihoods, businesses and ruin our economy based upon the fake and flawed propaganda on Coronavirus and Covid-19 by the World Health Organisation (WHO), Government ‘advisors’ and the MSM
Many lies and myths about Coronavirus are being manipulated by the MSM to create and spread a pandemic of fear and hysteria.
The FACTS are: tests are inaccurate, ‘confirmed cases’ do not include millions of mild cases (artificially boosting mortality statistics), mortality statistics are wrong as they do not differentiate between those who died OF Coronavirus or just WITH Coronavirus as one of many underlying health problems ,and there ARE treatments (HCQ, Chloroquine, plasma, Interferon-Alfa-2B, Favipiravir, Remdesivir, Lopinavir-Ritonavir etc.).
When you compare 1,408 UK deaths attributed to Coronavirus over 3.5 weeks with just an average 3.5 weeks of the 50,000+ additional ‘winter’ deaths of 2017-18 the figure is 6,730+. This is nearly five times the figure the entire country is in ‘Lockdown’ and under Martial Law over!
Over twenty of the World’s leading infectious disease Experts have criticised World Governments handling of the Coronavirus epidemic – see here and here. You must study these articles as they are unanimous in their opinion, that ‘lockdowns’ and ‘social distancing’ make everything worse. Also that Coronavirus mortality is not at alarming levels and has merely been fuelled by fake, flawed propaganda, lies and fear.
One of the experts, Dr Sucharit Bhakdi, a Specialist in Microbiology and one of the most cited research scientists in German history, criticised the draconian anti-corona measures saying, they
“…are grotesque, absurd and very dangerous …. The life expectancy of millions is being shortened. The horrifying impact on the world economy threatens the existence of countless people. The consequences on medical care are profound. Already services to patients in need are reduced, operations cancelled, practices empty, hospital personnel dwindling. All this will impact profoundly on our whole society. All these measures are leading to self-destruction and collective suicide based on nothing but a spook.”
Dr Bhakdi is so concerned and distressed by the lockdowns that he has written an open letter to Angela Merkel (link) in which he states “….the reason for my concern lies above all in the truly unforeseeable socio-economic consequences of the drastic containment measures…” He cites research that concludes that “The new virus is NOT different from traditional Corona viruses in terms of dangerousness.” He also states that Coronavirus has already widely spread, unnoticed, in the healthy population.
He discounts Italy and Spain being credible comparisons based upon the high percentage of elderly living with young potential ‘carriers’ of Coronavirus. He further discounts using Italy as comparable based upon the air pollution in Northern Italy which leads to thousands of additional deaths due to “viral lung disease”. He stresses that the population are not made aware of these and many other factors.
This air pollution fact is backed up by another excellent article (link) which also states that a massive 99% of the Italian dead had 1,2,3 or more health problems, stressing the fact that many deaths were misreported as dying from Coronavirus instead of with it.
When you put us under ‘lockdown’ you stole our Human Rights, including the Right to Liberty, Freedom of Assembly, Right to Democracy and Right to Education. The draconian legislation you passed does not pass any legal tests of these actions being ‘necessary and proportionate to a legitimate aim’, as World Experts on infectious diseases condemn these actions and consider you to be wrong and ‘lockdown’ to be “dangerous” and “destructive”. The legislation also did not receive sufficient scrutiny, according to the campaign group Liberty. The ‘lockdown’ model itself was described by WHO in January as “unprecedented in Public Health History” and as such has no scientific evidence of effectiveness.
Lockdown has been condemned by former Supreme Court Judge, Lord Sumption, who stated “depressions, stress, heart attacks, suicides and unbelievable stress inflicted on millions of people….” , with the “wrecking of our economy for an indefinite period, destroying businesses…..saddling future generations with debt.” He further condemned the actions of the police and branded it all “….the classic symptoms of collective hysteria”.
You as a Government do not ‘rule’, you merely ‘govern’ and this, in a Democracy, is by the consent of the People. You have stolen our Human Rights and you must now reverse the ‘lockdown’ and ‘social distancing’ policies and restore our Democracy immediately. Failure to do this will mean you personally will be vilified in history as the Tyrannical Prime Minister, who ruined our economy and cost people’s lives and businesses by ignoring the advice of World Infectious Disease Experts in favour of Government ‘advisors’ and their absurd ‘computer models’. You will also be punished at the Ballot Box and many more times before that.
You need to show real leadership guided by genuine Experts ignoring the hysteria and panic. Show the world how a Democratic leader and Democracy should behave, as Sweden is, which is NOT to become a Police State based on fake evidence.
By the time you read this letter (it will even be posted to you so there is no chance you can ignore us!) hopefully it will have been shared many thousands and even millions of times. To those reading this letter: please share it with everyone you can, including your MP, as the future of you, your children and grandchildren relies upon it along with your livelihood, job, health, sanity, Democracy, our society, NHS and even our lives!
We demand that you act upon these facts and immediately restore our lives, Democracy and society to normal before too much unrepairable damage is done.

Yes Kim i echo MWT it is an excellent comment, although I wouldn’t be quite so caustic regarding Boris’s slow start handling of the situation and trying to appear to “go by the book”
While it depends on who’s book, retrospect will also ask what circumstances were obtaining politically at the time of incidence and first perception
If my recollection is correct we were deep into the machinations of Brexit, we were either just out or about to be out and there was great suspicion that Boris wouldn’t be held to his policy of completion of the process without giving in to blandishments of those who were still trying to push him into an extension .
That we had got to conclusion of Brexit at all was more or less due to Boris’s unexpected allies who had emerged from the hitherto opposition in the North and Midlands, he quite correctly acknowledged that his continued existence in the Prime office depended on his rigid attention to their requirements.
Fast forward a few weeks into the nascent Convic 19 debacle, probably not even declared a Pandemic yet, I was SHOUTED at by a member of my family when I even mentioned Brexit that “Corona virus comes first” and the phone virtually put down on me (I was promptly handed over to another member of my family)
Even Boris cannot serve two masters at the same time and I don’t blame him for sticking to his original support – you ignore the grass roots at your peril.
Regarding “things won’t be the same again”, I agree I have also had the same reaction from people I have discussed this with but will it be apparent to the bulk of the population that it will mean a cliff fall off the “consumer” provided society, that we don’t actually need the expensive Cruises and aeroplane driven holidays abroad, that we don’t need the gourmet style expensive restaurants and all the other indulgences that so fuel wage explosions where the poor just get further and further away from the supposed “all in it together Elite and betters”
For a start I don,t suppose there will be many fancy restaurants left and perhaps some will realise we can actually make meals cheaply from scratch at home
I will leave off now, but point out that this necessary change won’t happen without our planning and making it so I hope somebody is already organising it!!!!!!!
Whereas I can personally ride out this lockdown the damage it is doing to people’s livelihoods, families and sanity, can only be imagined. There are many just questions to ask and there had better be good answers.
Nevertheless, we are where we are, and there are also positive things to be drawn from the lockdown. It will allow the opportunity for people to reset their outlook, not only on their lifestyles, but also on their perception of society.
If Globalist conspiracies have any weight then I would say they have a ‘tiger by the tail’ as the outcomes may favour support for National and Local allegiances.
The present Government are also taking a huge risk and only time will provide the result. One thing I feel sure of is that we will not return to what was.
With regard to the Letter, my opinion is that a far more robust system should have been put in place. Many must thought that the Government must have had the situation sussed and was trying to control the flow of infection. That has been shown to be a false assumption. Had they acted sooner with immediate draconian action then they would be forgiven any overreaction. Now that opportunity for delaying infection is far gone.
Having belatedly taken that draconian action they should have specified a limit to the time. The testing has been a farce. The figures have been a farce. The police have not had joined up thinking. There has not been enough emphasis on preventative treatment or medication for the general public. The media have dramatized and panicked the people. Questions have not been asked and answers have not been given.
In short we have, yet again, been poorly led. The only rational and sane part in all this has come from the British Public, who on the whole have acted responsibly and compassionately despite the confused and poor leadership of our politicians.
I would say they our Leaders should get a grip and give a definite end date for this lockdown.

If this lockdown is necessary, why are there hundreds of flights still landing in the UK from infected countries? Doesn’t seem to be any joined up thinking.
I believe I’m correct in saying that there is no drug that cures any viral diseases. The ones we have just inhibit it.
Hence it’s very unlikely that any existing drug will cure a person suffering from the current one.
Vaccines give immunity to a healthy person.

There are those of us who have had to live for a time in a disciplined environment. – Many more have never had that experience !
Arguments abound upon the facts of death being incorrect. – Some of those have merit and some are nonsense !
There is one fact that is absolute. – Get this wrong, and we will not have a NHS as before. – Please don’t argue this point !
Personal choice for me, is to self isolate. – No ! – I’m not a good little boy, far from it, but I am an absolute Democrat !

Mike I think you have put your finger on a very significant point. There are those of us who were brought up to be self-disciplined in our approach to life with its opportunities and problems, and there are others who approach life in a selfish, self-centred, undisciplined, anarchistic (with a small ‘a’) way. I am by no means uncritical of governments but at the end of the day they are there to organise and run society and if they get it wrong they will have to answer for their mistakes. If our country was being run by the kind of people currently writing most of the articles on this site and most of those who comment I dread to think of the utter mess they would make of things.
To criticise and want to reverse an insane, experimental and unproven regime that has been described by World Experts on infectious diseases (far more credible to go on the advice of people who have dedicated their careers to research on infectious diseases above the statisticians from Imperial College and their computers!) as “dangerous” and “destructed” is to be commended! It is also the opposite of selfish and self-centred and the other petty insults that you give, to be concerned and worried about other people and their jobs and their businesses and our economy!
The impact of this medieval policy of weeks or months of ‘lockdown’ and ‘social distancing’ will cause utter misery to many people and YOU are being selfish to not realise this. There is also the mental health and loneliness impact and added domestic violence and abuse for people under enforced house arrest. To say nothing of the bankruptcies, suicides and other problems that will follow.
Self-discipline is not what is needed now, compassion, democracy and freedom is! Observing a sensible Sweden style approach to this virus at the same time. We now need to lead other democratic countries back to sanity and avoid a world wide depression.

I have seen similar reports re Birmingham.
Last week’s jobless claims figures for the US just came out. Double what it was last week which itself was five times the previous record in 1982. That means in the last fortnight 10 million workers have lost their jobs temporarily or permanent due to the lockdown. Does Boris want to be the PM who put a million people on the dole fue to a media driven panic? That’s his future and ours.
More relevant, lockdown must -produce diminishing returns depending on incubation period- which is what anyway ?

What is the point of saving the NHS if there is no economy and society left to serve ?

I am truly disgusted with the general inanity of many of the articles and comments that appear. I am thankful for the few honourable exceptions such as yourself Mike Sterland. As you say, irresponsible is too weak a description. .
So what evidence do you have that this extreme policy is working then? Other than the usual MSM brainwashing that is! This is nothing but an experiment that we will all have to pay for in suffering when our economy is ruined. Sweden is not in lockdown and life is nearly normal for them. It is conveniently forgotten that China did not lockdown the WHOLE country and economy. It is also a communist regime and we are supposed to be a democracy and people should be able to be allowed to exercise common sense and not have a fascist police state enforced upon them. It is the Government not the people being irresponsible, but wait, they will still have their jobs to go back to!

Not for me. China with severe lockdown in Wuhan province with no democracy or human rights seem to be successful (so far). Taiwan and Singapore did well and South Korea with huge testing seem to work. Is that all fake and lies too? I will say no more in case I get into “trouble”.
