Black Lives Matter is Racist

If your first reaction to Black Lives Matter (BLM) is that they are out-and-out racists, you’re not wrong. BLM is obsessed with race and assigning characteristics to whole groups of people based purely on their race – which is the very definition of racism. As this article will show, social media is full of hate-filled posts by BLM leaders making racist comments about white people.

The Marxist co-founder of BLM Toronto, Yusra Khogali, is open about her hatred of white people, whom she described as subhuman. On Facebook she posted:

‘whiteness is not humxness. in fact, white skin is sub-humxn …. white people are a genetic defect of blackness …. white ppl are recessive genetic defects. this is factual …. Melanin directly communicates with cosmic energy. this is why the indegeniety [sic] of all humxnity comes from blackness. we are the first and strongest of all humxns and our genetics are the foundation of all humxnity …. white ppl need white supremacy as a mechanism to protect their survival as a people because all they can do is produce themselves. black ppl simply through their dominant genes can literally wipe out the white race if we had the power to. it is why white supremacy as an imperial system thrives. it tries to control, suppress, and destroy our existence in blackness because we are a threat to the genetic annihilation of white people.’

This is deeply disturbing on so many levels, but I will only focus on four key points here.

First, the language that Khogali uses is exceptionally violent. Political activists who believe in healthy and constructive democratic debate do not write about the ‘genetic annihilation’ of any group of people or of how something can ‘literally wipe out’ an entire race of people. She is a psychopath.

Second, to classify any group of people as ‘sub-humxn’ and a ‘genetic defect’ is undeniably racist. Indeed, this is exactly the kind of language that the Nazis used. Perhaps it is BLM who are the new Nazis.

And, just in case you were wondering, ‘humxn’ is used by intersectionalists to avoid perceived sexism in the standard spelling ‘human’ and to explicitly include transgender and non-binary people.

Third, any reasonable person can see that this is utter nonsense. Her claim that ‘Melanin directly communicates with cosmic energy’ is downright laughable. It is not even pseudoscience, just pure crackpot mumbo jumbo. No wonder BLM activists simply try to shout down anyone who disagrees with them. They cannot win a fair debate of ideas.

Fourth, what would the reaction have been if a white person had written this and simply swopped the words black and white around? As we all know, they would be roundly condemned by the mainstream media, the liberal establishment, and all decent people. And so they should be. To describe any race of people as ‘sub-humxn’ is reprehensible. This begs the obvious question ‘Why was Khogali not condemned and de-platformed’? Why do the mainstream media call any white person who talks about immigration a racist yet do nothing when BLM posts such hate-filled diatribes against white people? Surely, we can only have a reasonable and constructive political debate if all voices in that debate are held to the same standards.

We cannot dismiss Khogali’s Facebook post as a one-off and out-of-character moment-of-madness by an otherwise well-intentioned individual. Khogali, a Sudanese refugee accepted by Canada, also tweeted about her urge to kill white people:

‘Pla Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz.’

And, we cannot dismiss Khogali as a lone extremist within an otherwise well-meaning movement. She is far from alone. Many other leading BLM activists have expressed similarly reprehensible sentiments on social media.

The co-founder of BLM Los Angeles, Melina Abdullah – whose father was reportedly a self-proclaimed Trotskyist – has also called for violence against white people:

‘We’ve been very deliberate in saying that the violence and pain and hurt that’s experienced on a daily basis by black folks at the hands of a repressive system should also be visited upon, to a degree, to those who think they can just retreat to white affluence.’

Abdullah regularly lashes out at Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and other white officials whom she accuses of implementing anti-black policies ‘under the guise of liberalism’. She tweeted:

“As we talk about a white supremacist terrorist like Donald Trump remember that we live in a city that is largely liberal white supremacists. So, when you say “F[***] Donald Trump, make sure you say F[***] Eric Garcetti.”’

Abdullah has described blacks who cooperate with whites – including Condoleeza Rice, the first black woman to serve as Secretary of State, and Los Angeles District Attorney Jackie Lacey – as ‘a Black face on white supremacy.’

Abdullah’s daughter, the co-founder of the BLM Youth Vanguard, Thandiwe Abdullah, has likewise called for violence against white people:

‘If you want to set some corporations on fire, you know what? I don’t care about Target burning. I don’t care that capitalism burns. I don’t care that white people in their f***ing office buildings are upset. I don’t care that you can’t go nowhere because you’re stuck in f***ing traffic. I don’t care that you can’t get to your job or your doctor’s appointment or to wherever the f*** you want to go.’

A BLM-affiliated group called Community Ready Corps states that ‘all white wealth is stolen wealth’ and that white people ‘should make reparations.’

‘White people have been expressly forbidden from participating in certain BLM activities. BLM Philadelphia wrote: “Please note that BLM Philly is a Black only space.” After a white BLM supporter complained, BLM Philadelphia doubled-down: “Our meetings are black centered.”’

BLM co-founder Opal Tometi, the daughter of illegal immigrants from Nigeria, has admitted that BLM was never primarily a reaction to police violence against African Americans. Rather, BLM ‘was always conceived of as a strategic response to white supremacy.’
