The term Gaslighting originated from the 1938 play ‘Gas Light’ and refers to the psychological manipulation of a female character (the victim) in the play by her husband (the abuser).

“Gaslighting can be very insidious the longer it occurs. Initially, you may not realize you’re being affected by it, but gradually you lose trust in your own instincts and perceptions.”

“Gaslighting can damage our self-confidence and self-esteem, our trust in ourselves and reality, and our openness to love again.”

Today, much is known about Gaslighting techniques by doctors and psychiatrists, it is a recognised and very evil phenomenon. The important thing to remember is that the perpetrator is always an abuser and the recipient is always a victim, Gaslighting is harmful and destructive, emotionally very damaging and based on carefully calculated lies and deception.

I could go on and on here, there is a lot to know about Gaslighting, its techniques are many and varied. One of the most difficult things for a victim of gaslighting is to recognise and accept that they are being Gaslighted: the victim of an attack.

The more that I have studied Gaslighting the more I am convinced – very sure in fact- that we Westerners, we White British are the victims of a Gaslighting attack: most of us would know it as ‘Political Correctness’ although there is far more to it than this.

We Brits have certainly been made to self doubt haven’t we? White guilt is another name for it, another strand of Political Correctness. Successive governments, totally besotted with the globalist agenda and hidden behind a veil of Political Correctness have chosen to allow far reaching, fundamental and possibly irreversible changes to our country, way of life and well being, without ever allowing us to even debate these issues.

We’ve been Gaslighted into acceptance and compliance of the globalist agenda with barely a whimper, so low has our self-esteem fallen. The propaganda has assured us that globalisation is good for us, remember Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation based around lies and deceit: this was the biggest lie of all.

Great Britain, our native land certainly did have an empire, the largest empire that the world has ever seen and even though it was gone or at least in decline before many of us were born, we’re being gaslighted into feeling guilty for the actions of our ancestors.

Never mind that without our legacy of technology, culture of democracy, education, political and legal systems, many more of the world’s people would still be not only still be living in mud huts; they would also be slaves. Great Britain lead the world in the abolition of slavery but of course the people tearing down our statues and monuments are too ignorant to see through the lies of our gaslighting globalist politicians, non-government organisations and mainstream media.

There is much written advice on how to defend yourself against Gaslighting, all of the sources that I’ve seen have similar recommendations, I’ll include here some quotes from PsychCentral but there are many other sources.

  1. “Recognize the pattern of undermining behavior. Gaslighting only works when a victim isn’t aware of what’s going on.”

This first one is important and the reason I wrote this article, until more people realise what is going on, there won’t be much we can do about the abuse being bestowed on us by our politicians. It must be remembered that whichever political party that we elect, we just get more Gaslighting abuse.

  1. “Keep in mind that the gaslighting isn’t about you. It’s about the gaslighter’s need for control and power. Often the gaslighter is a very insecure human being.”

Again important, what is happening isn’t about us, it is about the dreams and ambitions of a very few select individuals although this dream has been shared by some of the worst tyrants in history.

  1. “Be aware that you are unlikely to be able to change the gaslighter – at least on your own. Gaslighting behavior is the only way gaslighters know to manage their world.

The above is the strongest argument that I’ve ever heard for completely cutting our ties with not just the European Union but the United Nations too, we also need to deal with our remain politicians and civil servants – most of them unfortunately.

Which leads us to number 4.

  1. “Rethink whether the relationship is worth putting up with the constant attempts to chip away at your self-esteem.”
  2. “Develop your own support system. You need other people in your life who can confirm your reality and worth.”
  3. Translated it means that we awakened Brits should stick together.
  4. “Work on rebuilding your self-esteem.”

Perhaps the most important thing of all, we are victims that have been kowtowing to our abusers for far too long. We must once again be proud of our country, our heritage, ancestors and of ourselves: we have nothing to feel guilty or ashamed about.

So, there you have it, we either wake up to the abuse being foist upon us by politicians from Edward Heath to Tony Blair, David Cameron, Theresa May and finally Boris Johnson – they’re all as bad as each other – or we lose our country, way of life and our well being.
