Ed: this brief summary reached us too late to get into yesterday’s Special Issue. However, since the announcement, that we voted ‘Out’, came in in the morning of the 24th of June, we can surely enjoy another of the memories of us grassroots without whom this wouldn’t have happened!

We fought hard for Brexit. We won the referendum. We waited with bated breath. Then waited some more. We watched the rows, the scuffles, the ifs and buts played out in Parliament.  We suffered and laboured under Teresa May and all the democracy deniers.  Then reality dawned and we picked up our banners and walking shoes and began the battle again… and again…. We marched and protested outside Parliament. We waited in the rain for results of votes. We rallied and leafletted and campaigned in the fierce belief that somehow some day we would force our democratic vote to leave the EU to be honoured.

We suffered the likes of Steve Bray and Tony Blair and all the Lib Dems baying for a second referendum. The words “Brexit means Brexit” were proved meaningless.

Nearly 5 years later, after an almighty struggle, some sort of Brexit went through. It had been such a long battle we were relieved – it was something at least. We had had to support and vote for MPs we didn’t like just because they promised to honour vote. We couldn’t celebrate as we were in Lockdown…and we have yet to see any real changes from Brexit.

Now of course we are caught in another battle – to free ourselves from the scourge of Lockdown, from which the government seems loathe to release us. The lockdown could not have been better designed to destroy many of our hopes for Brexit. Certainly, illegal immigration controls have disappeared while we waited patiently at home on our sofas being dumbed down by TV.

Whatever your views on the vaccine and PCR tests, or indeed lockdown, there are many battles still to fight, not least of which against the Green Agenda now being foisted upon us by the cultural Marxists known as the Tory Party. They are determined our lives will never be the same.

As for immigration, they will find ever more ways to bring more and more people here to destroy any unity or national cohesion we may have. We know many immigrants and children or immigrants fought alongside us for Brexit but they too are derided as being “not black enough” or foolish beyond belief. We, the indigenous white population, are of course just racist bigots who must be shut up and watered down. We must be ashamed of slavery although this great country was responsible for ending it. And slavery still continues in full flow in the Arabic world, where it always has done. Will I kneel for BLM? No, I will not. I kneel for no one other than our Queen.

But remembering yesterday, 23rd June, and today, 24th of June when our victory was announced, feel proud for what you did and what we achieved. Raise a glass and celebrate. Take this day to reminisce and join in solidarity with the rest of us though never gave up.

Then prepare yourselves – we achieved a lot, but the battle for our nationhood, our lives, our freedom and our very existence as free human beings has only just begun.
