As you would expect, we have received a staggering response since the launch of ‘March to Leave’. This is a movement that is gathering momentum very quickly and we hope that you’re signed up to play your part!
If you want to find out more about this event then visit the FAQs section of our website.
Today’s Question: What does the £50 cover?
This fee is only applicable to our “core marchers” – individuals who will be taking part in several days of the march and will have their accommodation and food paid for (as well as receiving branded equipment!). For everyone else, it’s free to come along and show your support! |
-“Last week our new initiative, Ladies for Leave was unveiled by Esther McVey. This is a group that hopes to provide a platform for the 8 million female Brexiteers.”
Hold on, where has this figure come from? We ‘know’ that 17.4 million ‘Leave’ votes were cast, but as far as I remember the ballot paper was not personally identifiable, and it did not ask for age, sex/gender or any other information.
And why the need for a seperate group to ‘provide a platform’ for “female Brexiteers”?
The idea of ‘pressure groups’ like Leave Means Leave should be that they are open to all to join and support, regardless of whether you are male or female.
We are supposed to be railing against the divisions in society being created by ‘identify politics’ and the need to ‘be seen’ as being ‘more inclusive’. What will we have next, “Blacks for Leave”, “Muslims for Leave”?
Can’t we all just unite together, regardless of our sex, race or religion, and agree that we all have COMMON GROUND, a desire for Brexit?
I agree Stuart; divide and rule?
We must all do we can for these last few days to make sure that we do leave on the 29th March. The very least we can do is write or email our MP’s to make sure they do not back Mrs May’s Brexit agreement which is Brexit in name only. Put as much pressure on MP’s as humanly possible in the next week to get the Brexit we all voted for.
