Of course it is. But almost everything the Left and their victim communities do is hypocritical. Those who scream their virtue loudest are the least virtuous.

The Pincher (nominative determinism if ever there was) case highlights the hypocrisy and double standards of the Left. Assault is another word warped from it’s true meaning for cancellation use. He assaulted someone by resting his hand on their leg, in a public place, whilst inebriated. OK, we all know what was going on, but assault? Seriously?
In 2009, Patricia Scotland broke the law on three counts, over employment of a Tongan maid, and that she even had a maid would have triggered Labour if she had been a Tory. She is a barrister, no less, so could not plead ignorance of the law. And lo, the CPS decided it was not in the public interest (by which they meant Labour’s interest) to prosecute and Brown claimed she acted in good faith. She was merely fined £5000 by the Commons. Already a Baroness she became Governor General of the Commonwealth.
Chris Bryant, who posted pictures of himself in his underpants – but hey that’s ok, now self-righteously censures others for peccadillos. And defamed Farage from behind the wall of Parliamentary privilege. But the Speaker did not ask for either evidence or a retraction. So the slur stands.
When Labour MP Jo Ashton was discovered in a Thai ‘massage parlour’, during a police raid, he protested his innocence, saying he had not paid for any sexual services (perhaps he hadn’t got that far), but never explained what he was doing there. By pure coincidence, of course it was, Jack Straw went on Woman’s Hour to say we should not make judgements on people’s private morality. He should have added: unless they are Tories.

Jack………….yes, that was the egg throwing incident in Hull, when Prescott punched the assailant in the face. Good on him I thought at the end of the day. I didn’t particularly like his brand of politics, but Prescott was genuine and told it how it was. The egg thrower got his just desserts in my opinion. If you throw an egg or anything else and it smashes over the victims clothing causing damage, it should have consequences. Common Assault and Criminal Damage at the very least.

Thanks, I had forgotten that. And his two-year affair with his secretary on government premises and in government time.
“Mr Prescott demanded sex from her in his grand Office of the Deputy Prime Minister while civil servants worked outside.
“The couple would regularly grope and grapple during the working day and she had repeated assignations with him at his plush Admiralty House apartment funded by the taxpayer – once, shockingly, after a solemn memorial service.
“Mr Prescott would frequently interrupt his ministerial business to caress his mistress or to engage in sexual banter.” https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-384690/We-love-Johns-office.html

A London theatre put on a production for an exclusively black audience. One attendee said without any apparent awareness that it provided a place where people (she meant black people) could feel free and open and be comfortable in their community.
Well isn’t that exactly how Britons feel about their own culture being subordinated and erased to incomers?
Yet if a white Briton had said that about being comfortable in THEIR community (for which read country), with common values and shared history and culture, they would be branded a bigot beyond the pale.

The picture of the big cat should please Pauline anyway, but I feel in my bones that a squirrel munching on its mid morning snack will show its face at the head of these columns in the next few days. The main newspaper headlines contain one story about the death of a young girl at a primary school in Wimbledon. All I can say is that the driver must have been driving too fast and smashed through a wooden fence and across a lawn before hitting the school building. Too many big cars on our roads driven by people who cannot control them, and why would someone need to have 4×4 in Wimbledon is beyond me. Hopefully, the driver will be charged with the appropriate offence. But quite why a tea party was mentioned I am not quite sure……

Indeed, given that the speed limit there is 20mph it is quite surprising how far across the school grounds she managed to get, after crashing through a fence, before coming to a halt, and then only because the school building got in the way. Even if she had suffered some sort of medical event, as mentioned in initial reports before she was arrested, one might have expected a vehicle traveling at 20mph to have stopped sooner.
However, this is all speculation. And it is clearly not front page headline-worthy news so it must be a squirrel and we need to look at what is actually going on which this is to contact from.

20 mph eh? And seatbelt? The body can hardly survive at that sort of speed. That’s why people drive garden sheds on wheels – elfin safety, got-it?
You were doin 22 mph sur. Very serious crime exceeding an arbitrary 20 mph. You must understand chummy that we have instructions to ‘milk the motorist’ relentlessly.
Much of W’don Common (not annexed by the golphers for their exclusive use) has what looks like tree stumps close together, along the roadsides. Getting between them or past them, in a motor is tricky without aid of a Ukrainian tank.
Meanwhile, when I was a boy I was clocked on a bike at 55 mph going down Copse Hill (W’don). Similarly routinely 40 plus mph on the flat.
Colin, when you were a beat rozzer between the two World Wars, I am sure you would have nicked someone like me for ‘scorching’.
I bet HarryFA’s ‘orse, his preferred mode of transport, can do more than twenty – and no seatbelt – oh the horror. And it is coloured brown – not green. Oh, the ignominy.

Biscotte……..pounding the beat between the two world wars. If only, that indeed would have been my ideal time. As it was it was pounding a beat between 1976 and 2012. Yes, being posted in the West End of London in the early 30’s and then finishing the day to listen to the Lew Stone Band at the Monseigneur Restaurant in Jermyn Street or indeed Bert Ambrose Band at the Embassy Club near Berkeley Square, and I could have listened to that Nightingale who also sang in the same Square. However, the wages of a 30’s copper wouldn’t have been sufficient to gain entrance to those establishments, so would have had to be content with listening to the broadcast instead on a Marconi radiogram or similar. Oh yes, definitely my time and I was born out of time. Now, I could have borrowed TG Spokes Tardis, but ID didn’t exist then, and he was probably tied up with Henry II anyway……..
