Here be a nest of racists … or so our MSM say
A collective insanity seems to have the Westminster MSM in an iron-hard grip – from the chief editor’s offices to the newsrooms and the cosy WFH abodes from whence the commentarists offer their opinion pieces. The front pages of today’s print editions demonstrate this (link), as do the online pages.
Yesterday was bad enough, but like a dog which isn’t letting go of a chewed, grotty, spittle-wet tennis ball they are still chewing over yon ‘Royals and The Court are racists’ piece of ‘news’, garnished with a dose of ‘war between H & M and W & K’.
A look across the Channel shows that nobody else is interested. Here’s the front page of Le Monde, here’s the front page of Die Welt – don’t gloat: the Krauties are in mourning because their team is out of the footie world cup. From across the Big Pond, here’s the front page of the NYT and here’s the Bezos paper, the Washington Post where one has to scroll way down to find an opinion piece on the ‘sacking’ of Lady Hussey.
My diagnosis: the Whitehall leakers, the providers of stuff for the Westminster MSM, are happy to keep this ‘scandal’ as current talking point to be outraged about so that we stupid peasants don’t talk about things like the coming NHS strikes, Inflation, possible blackouts and how all these will affect our daily lives. Of course, there’s also still the footie … anything to stop us asking inconvenient questions about how our governing ‘elite’ is going to address these issues. Not even China and covid are being headlined.
Instead, let me report on an article published a couple of days ago in National Review, a US political magazine. We know that our ‘journalists’ don’t have the time to do research, be it by looking at what happens in our own country, be it by looking at what our cousins are up to. After all, checking Twitter, even Musk’s ‘new Twitter’, is what accounts for ‘research’ nowadays.
The title of the NR report is “San Francisco Supervisors Vote to Allow Police to Deploy Killer Robots”. We read that:
“The San Francisco Board of Supervisors approved a policy on Tuesday officially allowing police to arm human-controlled robots with explosives to kill or incapacitate people in extreme circumstances. […] Supporters argued that police can be trusted to use the robots, which could help stop a mass casualty event. Opponents said approving the use of killer robots was like something out of a science fiction movie, and a threat to the poor and to people of color.” (paywalled link)
Given the riots, the ongoing ‘de-funding’ of police departments in lefty-governed US States, this isn’t such a surprise, nor is the moan about ‘Teh Poor and POC’ being threatened by such robots. They must apparently be allowed to riot to their hearts’ content. What is a surprise is this:
“The San Francisco Police Department has a dozen functioning robots that are typically used to assess bombs, execute warrants, function in hazmat situations, and provide officers the ability to see in low-visibility situations. For over a decade, the department has had the ability to use its robots to deliver deadly force, but never did.” (paywalled link)
According to the report, these robots can only be deployed on the say-so of top police chiefs – and they’re not going to shoot but use ‘explosives’, probably some sort of stun grenades. There’s also this:
“The first time a robot was used to deliver explosives in the U.S. was in 2016, when police in Dallas, Texas used a robot to kill a sniper who had killed five officers, the AP reported.” (paywalled link)
Wouldn’t it be good to know if our own police forces have such robots – not to kill, but for those other situations (bombs, ‘hazmat situations’) dangerous to the public and indeed to police officers? Wouldn’t it be worthy of a proper journalist to find out? Wouldn’t the police be interested in showing that they do more than dancing on TikTok or show how Alphabet-Group friendly they are? That they are prepared to protect us from actual harm, not just from ‘hate crimes’ committed on Twitter?
Above all, shouldn’t we be informed if our police forces have such robots in the first place? Or is it the case that only the Armed Forces have such robots? Doesn’t that mean that in situations such as bombs needing to be dismantled, ‘hazmat situations’ needing to be resolved, or, God forbid, riots needing to be dispersed, the Army will have to be called in?
I would think this were a good subject for an investigation, especially since the government – this or a Labour one, no difference – is relying on the Armed Forces to keep our society going in case of strikes, like those coming in the next weeks: ambulances and fire brigades.
But nooo – “we” must be clobbered with ‘Racism at Court’, based on a moan by one single person. No excuse possible, no question asked if perhaps this ‘incident’ has been blown out of all proportions. It’s another welcome item in our thoroughly British navel-gazing, our breast-beating about our despicable ‘racism’, a ‘guilt which can never be washed away’, according to a female pastor lecturing the Prince and Princess of Wales on their US State visit!
Furthermore, this is a welcome theme to lecture ‘Teh Old’ because Lady Hussey is an octogenarian. The headline for the DT’s opinion piece says it all:
“Lady Hussey is a warning to all the nation’s unreconstructed grannies – Is Lady Susan Hussey a swivel-eyed racist or an out-of-touch toff?” (paywalled link)
Clearly, if one’s old one must be ‘out-of-touch’ if not an ‘unreconstructed’ racist! Better keep all grannies out of circulation, better stick them into ‘granny silos’ so that their homes can be used for mostly ‘coloured’ illegal migrants!
No pity, no attempt to understand that one of the ice-breakers when talking with strangers is the age-old question ‘where are you from?’ Auntie Beeb has of course a little report, on how this question is hurtful (link). Well, I must have an exceedingly thick skin because I’ve been asked that question ever since I came here over 40 years ago, without getting ‘hurty feelz’. I welcomed it, and yes, I’ve asked that self-same question when speaking to others.
This ‘incident’ isn’t really about racism or ‘Teh Old’. It’s another step on the slope of silencing us unreconstructed peasants, trying to make us watch every word we say to strangers, especially if they’re not white. How is this helping with the goal of ‘diversity’, celebrating ‘otherness’, when we’re forbidden to ask innocent questions? Perhaps the goal is to have communities splintered along ‘colour’ lines in order to better control us?
‘Divide et impera’ is after all an ancient ploy, used by the powerful across the world …
NGosi Fulani
WHy did this “lady” pick this name precisely
Did she not know that the Fulani are a tribe spread throughout in particular West Africa .
Apparently of Muslim origin , originally spreading from Senegal to Nigeria, where they proceeded to push out the pastoral Hausa.,
Anyone who had travelled in those areas and meeting this woman for the first time is entitled to recognise the name Fulani as a tribal name and ask where the person originally came from .
I certainly if in that position might have asked the question, especially as she hadn’t chosen another tribal name such as Hausa, Yoriba, Igbo (Ibo).
Having served in the Merchant Navy running to West Africa, it was interesting to learn the characteristics of the various tribes, – their dress in particular, whether they were tall and thin and “came from the North” or wore the “blue” of the Yoruba, or were virtually Ibo swamp dwellers .
I can often recognise a Nigerian, aSirra leonine, Ghana (Gold. coast man), a Senegal man from Dakar or a Cameroonian.
And have frequent conversations with my Doctor who is a Nigerian from Onitsha and a lovely conversation with a hospital Urologist who was pretty ancient and came from Enugu in Nigeria and we had a long conversation in A & E on Nigerian places and history
How did I learn they were Nigerian – I asked them
I too saw Nigel’s comments on his road show night out, he did remark that his comments would only be shown on GB tv.
This woman must be OUTED she’s a “wrong ‘un”
‘Is Lady Susan Hussey a swivel-eyed racist or an out-of-touch toff?”
The DT’s question should have been: “Is her accuser a bigoted activist out to cause hurt and trouble?”
Otherwise, why was this woman so quick to take offence? She indignantly said she was born here, implying she is as British as her inquisitor, but taking offence at a line of questioning, a line partly extended because she gave half-answers and did not explain, is not a British trait at all, nor is making no allowance for an 83yo brought up in a different age. Keep calm and carry on, NOT!
Mary Headly may call herself British, though clearly thinks of herself as other, and though born here, has absorbed nothing, except a passport, that makes her British.
The latest by election in Chester yesterday, Labour won the seat with a 12% swing from Conservative to Labour. Labour got just over 17,000 votes, whilst Conservatives got 6600 votes, and the Liberal Democrats got 2600 votes, Reform UK got 753 votes and UKIP 179 votes. In my opinion this was a chance for Reform UK to shine and display a positive message and in this they spectacularly failed and should have at least taken some votes off the Conservatives. Reform got 2.73% vote share which in the general scheme of things is garbage, and they are registering far fewer votes than UKIP did in its heyday. Time for Richard Tice to stand down as his vague wishy washy message is not registering with the electorate, and it is high time that the party had a proper leader in place. Please, please, please Nigel Farage, take the leadership reigns of that party once more and give the electorate something to vote for. UKIP however are finished and should pack up and join forces with other centre right parties.
CH- Yes, I saw it on the news early this morning. What a nice lady who has won it. She got well over 50 pct of the vote – turnout 40 pct odd.
Interviews about midnight, before the vote was declared showed the result was more or less a foregone conclusion.
I suppose now we will get the trite – by-elections always go to the opposition – protest vote about something or other, donchaknow.
Wakey, wakey, ole’ Eligark matey.
Tice is a 50% shareholder in Reform UK and too invested to stand aside nor can he be pushed aside by 50% Farage not that he would want to do that. Tice and Bull fear what they have called “ukippy” types and Reform UK is not a populist party. Farage has not pushed Reform on GB News and possibly can’t under his contract, a lucrative deal he will not want to give up. Much as I wish to see LibLabCon get their comeuppance it does not look set to happen. If Reform cannot pick up protest votes in a by-election they will not do better in a general election.
Stout Yeoman……I am aware that Reform UK has two shareholders, and two shareholders only. And that is why it is such a sham. Initially it had registered supporters of which I was one, and then the party if you can call it that, introduced a ‘membership’ which in fact means nothing at all, because those members have no right at all of selecting a leader or deciding policy. I am also aware that it doesn’t want to encourage ‘UKIP types’ but the fact of the matter is that The Brexit Party was born out of UKIP as all of its MEP’s moved over from UKIP, its first leader Nigel Farage was a former UKIP leader and probably most of its registered supporters/members are former UKIP members/supporters/voters., so I cannot see what the problem there would be. Put simply Tice is no leader, and at best would make a reasonable Party Chairman, but he is just not connecting with the electorate at all, and doesn’t say what the majority want to hear, and we have the result of this before our very eyes, namely 2.73% vote share and less than a thousand votes. Reform UK and its leader should at the very least be challenging the Conservative Party who are absolutely dire at the moment,
and taking some votes off them, but it is not working out that way and the public are not convinced by their wishy washy message. However, I live in hop that in the not too distant future Farage will realise that only himself has the ability to change the situation as it stands. There is no point in bleating that your party has an opinion poll rating of 9%, and when there is a by election and a chance to shine only get a measly 2.73 share of the vote. Something has to change and change very quickly in my view.
Colin I thought you rejoined UKIP some 9 months ago in digust at Doris? Anyway, as a UKIP member I don’t agree with your suggestion that UKIP ‘…..should pack up and join forces with other centre Right parties’. I will though go along with Reform UK packing up as I grave doubts about the real agenda of Tice and Farage. But what I will most certainly go along with is these parties starting to talk to each other as UKIP has suggested. It looks from these results that Farage and Tice are not as popular as they thought they were – not even amongst disillusioned Tories. Maybe they don’t trust Farage anymore like many Brexiteers who were disgusted at him withdrawing 317 candidates at the last minute to save Tory skins.
The Tory House of Cards may collapse from within – hopefully !!!!!!

Jake Benntt your observations resonate with me.
Jake………..I did but they are a dead loss, and not saying anything relevant. It is not the same party as it was in its heyday prior to the 2016 referendum, and that is a sad fact. At the end of the day things must be bad if UKIP have to appoint a student with nil life experience to be their candidate in the by election at Chester. I am at a loss as to which party to support in the future to be honest, but I was a founder member of the Heritage Party. None of them seem to be fit for purpose, and that includes Reform UK, of which I am not a member or a registered supporter any longer, having once been a constituency campaign organiser and election candidate. It went to the dogs as soon as Nigel Farage stepped down as leader, and I would be very surprised indeed if they had candidates for 550 constituencies for the next general election as they claim to have. I would say probably nowhere near that number would be nearer the truth. I thought maybe the SDP would be worth supporting, but I never see any candidates of theirs standing at any by elections, which probably means that their membership is in the low hundreds and have no activist base from which to draw upon, although two people that I know have recently become members of the SDP having rejected the other right of centre parties. The whole point to a political party as far as I see it, is to put up candidates at parliamentary elections and by elections, and candidates at district, borough and county councils, and if that is not being done, then the whole exercise is wholly pointless.
Why are voters so blind. Why can’t they spoil their ballots rather than vote for corporatist corrupt traitorous parties LabTory? No wonder the politicians treat them with contempt.
Indeed Colin; we certainly need a true British party but there are too many claimants to that description just now. Either they need to amalgamate or have a plan in place for cooperation to avoid splitting the vote.
What a complete s**t show of witch hunting. These racist descendants need culling as this whole thing is a contrived and contorted mess. I don’t apologise for my skin colour and have lost count of the number of times I have been asked where I am from, many Americans have not heard of Wales and think I am Scottish. So what! I’m not precious. My black friends would have said Chicago and before that ‘somewhere in Africa’. The ‘race’ industry is institutionally racist.
Lisa…….I think Farage summed up the Buckingham Palace situation with the Lady-in-Waiting and this lady who was asked where she came from etc, very well on his programme ‘Farage at Large’ which came from Llandudno yesterday evening. Let us put it this way, he didn’t mince his words……
I missed that Colin. What did he have to say about the right-on Prince William throwing his god mother and lifelong friend of the Queen under a bus? I know what I think about someone who would do such an underhand thing. if he will treat his god mother this way he has the capacity to do the same for the British people as a whole and for what – political correctness, cowardice, to save his own skin?
Jake……rather than repeating it here, it might be a good idea if you looked up ‘Farage at Large’ for yesterday on Nigel Farage’ Facebook site or perhaps on You Tube.
Racism, I don’t get it. Black woman racks up in ‘banana boat’ outfit her mother came here to once Great Britain. Where are you from? And that’s racist.
I’m reminded of Crocodile Dundee – what tribe are you from, mate?
The irony is this black woman was likely employed for no other reason, than to make up the diversity quota.
She could have said simply, that she was born here but her parents came form Barbados. And added that she changed her name and dress style to look and sound more African so she could start a Domestic Abuse ‘charity’, for a neat salary, for women of African and Carribbean origin. Incidentally who are the abusers that apparently exclusively black women need shielding from. Oh dear. Better not answer that or it’s another slur.
Ngozi Fulani was born Mary Headley changing her name sometime before founding Sistah Space to give herself a nice income – she currently draws a salary of £65K plus expenses – while racially discriminating against women not 100% black by turning away women of mixed race even though suffering from domestic violence. Presumably it is OK for her to enquire where someone is ‘really from’.
Representing a charity for African women and dressing in African style clothing while using an African name, the question where she is from is no more than taking a polite interest akin to the Queen’s ‘and what do you do?’ when circulating at events. The royals get guests to talk about themselves. If she was as traumatised as she claims and “stunned into silence” with everything a “blurr” afterwards it is remarkable to produce a claimed verbatim account the next day, the normal effects of trauma on memory not applying.
If the account of the conversation is accurate – a very big if – then Lady Susan is shown to be not very bright or possibly confused and embarrassed by the conversation not going as expected. Possibly lacking the intellectual resources to think on her feet, naive about race grifters, and constrained by the occasion and witnesses, she blundered. She wanted to know, thinking it was taking a polite interest, what part of Africa this self-advertising African women was from and possibly pursued the point in a cack handed way. It is for others who know the upper class, elderly minor royal, to do a syntactic analysis of the alleged conversation to see if the speech is consistent with Lady Sue’s style rather than a constructed corruption of it.
As for the race grifter, she appears to have been deliberately obtuse. She must have known from the outset that her African identity that she was promoting was the object of Lady Sue’s enquiry and a non race grifter would have said in the first answer that she was not from Africa but born and raised here to which Lady Sue might then have asked (after ‘oh you are from Hackney. How interesting,) if it was all African women she supported or just some from particular parts.
This was obviously a conversation that violated Grice’s maxims and deliberately so by Fulani. The unquestioning response by the media has been sickening. (I’ve relied on Mrs Yeoman’s reports which I insisted should be as concise as possible as I could not bear to watch or listen myself nor hear a protracted account.) Fulani was not even asked why she attended an event held by the institutionally racist. Yet, it is all par for the course for our degraded media dedicated to removing barriers for globalism which nationhood and national identity are obstacles and which the Royal Family symbolise and mobilise. The onslaught will continue with Ginge and Cringe’s Netflix documentary styled a “global event”. I can now see a case for a power cut. At least it will spare us from any exposure to this decadent assault on civilisation.
Thank you SY for the information on the background on this waste of space.
Prince William was quick to take sides and throw the Lady-in-Waiting to the wolves. What does that say about his judgement? Somehow, I get the impression that the good days of the Royal Family died with the Queen at her recent passing. Obviously, loyalty counts for sod all these days.
