The MoD has become the ‘Ministry of Propaganda’
And so into the weekend … with another lesson in how the MSM serve propaganda, not news. Yes, it’s again about the Ukraine – more on this below. There were of course news of the expected ‘Tory drubbing’, also of ‘Royal Balcony Snub’ because we need to know that the US couple won’t be allowed: this is really important! But in a ‘change to the programme’ we suddenly have ‘Beergate’, with reports about the police investigating the Kneeler and with a nice headline in the print edition of the DM calling the Labour leader ‘slippery. You can find all that in the usual place here. I’ll not touch these ‘news’ – I only ask how come our Westminster MSM are coming out with these tales only now, after the elections. A knave who thinks they were trying to influence the voters in any way …
And so to that lesson in propaganda. For the sake of keeping a record of how the ‘flagship’ of our MSM, the august Times, has become the cheerleader and overt supporter of Ukrainian disinformation, I must mention a report penned by their ‘Kiev correspondent’ who is clearly the conduit for Ukrainian war propaganda: “Russia is killing Mariupol soldiers as they try to evacuate Azovstal, fighters warn” (link, paywalled). Again, the get-out-of-jail sentence about the paper being unable to verify independently the news story is lacking. Firstly, read this paragraph:
“A car was hit by Russians who used [an] anti-tank guided weapon,” the Azov battalion wrote on social media. “This car was moving towards civilians in order to evacuate them. One fighter was killed and six were wounded. The enemy continues to violate all agreements and fails to adhere to security guarantees of civilians’ evacuation.” (link, paywalled)
Ahem. So there were seven Azovstal fighters in that car. None of them were civilians, but ‘driving towards them’ meant they were going to evacuate them – in a full car? While UN and ICRC delegates were present? Hm. There’s more and it shows the cynical, inhumane attitude of both the Ukrainian ‘High Command’ and of our own MoD which is clearly far more involved in this war than we’ve been told:
“The Azovstal defenders have so far refused several ultimatums to surrender and say that they do not trust the Russians to respect their rights as prisoners of war. In an intelligence bulletin, the British Ministry of Defence agreed with speculation that Putin wants his forces to secure Mariupol in time for Victory Day on Monday when Russia celebrates the Soviet defeat of Nazi Germany. The MoD said, however: “This effort has come at the cost to Russia of personnel, equipment and munitions. While Ukrainian resistance continues in Azovstal, Russian losses will build and frustrate their operational plans in southern Donbas.” (link, paywalled)
I don’t know if those Azov ‘fighters’ cannot or will not check out social media where Ukrainian POWs keep telling independent journalists that they’re treated well. There are no videos of Ukrainian POWs being tortured like those poor Russians at the beginning of this war. However, as the MoD remark shows, the Azovstal fighters are deemed to be expendable. They are paying for Ukrainian propaganda with their lives in a senseless effort to make the Russian Victory celebrations on Monday look bad.
Moreover, the cold assessment by our MoD, that this ‘resistance’ is costing Russian lives and material, thus ‘frustrating’ their operations in the Donbas, sadly demonstrates not just their cynical attitude, sacrificing the lives of others so that a success for Putin can be prevented, but also that they’ve not understood what is really going on in the Donbas or are unwilling to inform their Ukrainian counterparts.
You might like to read the latest article by Larry Johnson here, where he describes that operation. You might also like to read a report by correspondents at the Azovstal site rather by someone sitting in Kiev, regurgitating Ukrainian propaganda:
“MARIUPOL, May 6. /TASS/. Two more buses with refugees have left the territory of the Azovstal steel works in Mariupol and are heading for a temporary accommodation center in Bezymennoye. In all, fifty-one civilians, including children, were evacuated from Azovstal during the day, a TASS correspondent reported from the site on Friday. As of now, the evacuation is over.” (link)
This action, this evacuation corridor, was well advertised – else how could those civilians have known and left that place? There’s more (my emphasis):
“Russia’s defense ministry said on Friday that at an initiative of the leadership of the Russian Federation, an operation was conducted on May 6, 2022 to evacuate civilians held by Ukrainian nationalists at the Azovstal metallurgical plant. Fifty civilians, including eleven children, have been rescued. All the rescued civilians are reported to have been handed over to the UN and ICRC representatives for transportation to selected temporary accommodation facilities. The ministry added that the humanitarian operation at Azovstal would be continued on May 7.” (link)
That does beg the question, does it not, if yon ‘car’ full with Azov fighters driving towards civilians was truly trying to ‘evacuate civilians’ or if they were trying to flee, using the evacuation procedure as yet another human shield. It also begs the question why the news editors of the Times allow their correspondents to write unmitigated Ukrainian propaganda. Furthermore it begs the question why The Times isn’t even checking with the UN and ICRC representatives who are at the site and are taking in those civilians. Finally, we might wonder if the MoD is feeding the Times with their own propaganda as justification for their unprecedented hand-outs of our military material to the Ukraine.
And that leaves this question for the weekend: are we actually fighting an undeclared war with Russia? Should we therefore not be concerned about Russian military retaliation? Are the MoD and Johnson certain that nothing will happen? It’s interesting, isn’t it, that we’ve not had any scare stories about a nuclear attack for the last week or so. Here’s my prediction for next week: the propaganda baton will be handed over by The Times to the DT where the MoD will place their latest ‘Russia bad – Ukraine good’ propaganda.
I haven’t got the words to express how deeply, how viscerally I loathe our Westminster propaganda providers and their mouthpieces, be they politicians or MSM ‘news editors’.
The utterly weak and inept leadership that Boris Johnson has presided over for the best part of two years where he has allowed Northern Ireland to be treated as a separate entity from the rest of the country with regard to different customs rules etc, led to Sinn Fein becoming the largest party after the latest round of local elections this past week which will lead to one of their number becoming the First Minister, and which will be the first step whereby the province will cease to be part of the United Kingdom and become unified with Southern Ireland. The man’s refusal to get that protocol sorted out and lay down the law to the European Union to whom he is willingly subservient to has led to this situation. For reasons only known to him and the other chumps that surround him at Westminster, he and they have spent more time worrying about what happens in other countries and supplying weapons to Ukraine in a dangerous brinkmanship with Russia, rather than sort out the myriad of problems that face the citizens of this country. Johnson is a total waste of space and needs to ditched by his useless and indecisive party this week, not next week, next month or next year, but this week, otherwise they can kiss goodbye to ever holding power again. He has had more than enough time to get to grips with the Northern Ireland issue, the continuing English Channel migrant crisis, the fishing and territorial waters issue, the cost of living increases and so many other problems, but he just hasn’t got what it takes to be an effective leader pure and simple and stands out like a sore thumb. We need to be rid of this clot now, and his party need to realise that he will lead them to an electoral annihilation.
BoJo is far worse than a clot. He is yet another traitorous PM seeking to subject us to the rule of his globalist mates / controllers.
You are also probably right Jack Thomas.
And what are you going to do now and never do again Colin?
Quite right Colin Hussey. You’ve said exactly what I think.
I’ve had a look at your second public health lead and see there are a lot of “shells” in it.
And yes I do understand this is about imposing regulations self generated by WHO and not sanctioned or voted for, by any democratic means, that is shocking.
But, I thought of even worse in the present set up of the WHO was the character of the leader Tedros and his apparent collusion with the Chinese President which is apparently of long standing.
So in my opinion the WHO is rotten at the top and until the whole caboodle is democratised,I.e. Elected universally then we will never escape from the tyranny the present system is imposing.
Wasn’t Trump right to leave or suspend contributions to this dodgy set up?
This is in answer to aPhil O’ at 8.36 PM, for some reason none of my replies ever follow the correctcomment
Roger Turner. If we had an anyway decent government it would do what Trump did.
Let’s hope that this is correct.
“It’s started. Vice President of #Pfizer has been arrested at his home and charged with multiple counts of fraud by US federal agents. #PfizeGate #PfizerDump”

Too good to be true, a satire article unfortunately.
What a shame Flyer.
How Google can control the outcome of elections, inter alia, through influencing the undecided. 1 hour 10 mins

Google changed from a simple piece of software that could help people find information on the web to a very scary vehicle that can influence billions of people around the globe.
In the video above, Prof Ropbert Epstein speaks with Jan Jekielek, senior editor of The Epoch Times, about Google’s ability to control public policy, swing elections and brainwash our children. Google has the power “to censor content, to track our every move, to tear societies apart, to alter the human mind, and even to reengineer humanity,
Petition signed 13861
In reply to T G S 10.26am, it was known as “letting the clerks take over”
It was always taken as a sure sign when the jumped up nobodies took over, it was a sure sign of failure of management, usually leading to catastrophe
Not on topic but here’s a petition that you may like to sign and share. It calls for the Government to not sign up to the WHO pandemic treaty unless it has been put to and agreed to by the public in a referendum

Than you Ceri – done.
Pauline and Roger, thank you.
It’s done and shared thanks Ceri.
Lisa, thank you.
Probably worth doing but a distraction from the real danger.
At the World Health Assembly meeting in just a few weeks’ time, amendments – proposed by the United States – to the International Health Regulations will be tabled, that give the WHO DG absolute power to declare a public health emergency and enforce what ever measures he deems fit on every signatory across the globe.
James Rugsoski has laid this out to the Corona Investigative Committee, and on his substack. The nub is worldwide dictatorship by health proxy by the back door whilst every one is distracted.
Article 12 para.2 is the key enabler, and a new chapter on an Orwellian ‘Compliance Committee’, carefully concealing its big stick in bureaucratese, is chilling.

Frederica, many thanks.
And I signed it yesterday….
More and more I see the U.S. as Britain’s chief enemy in the world.
It has been going on ever since the end of WW2.
Orwell was right to call us Runway 21.
What I do not know is whether in fact, there is any way we could be free and independent.
Indonesia, Korea, Vietnam, Arab-Israel, Algiers, Congo, Cyrpus, Lebanon, India-Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen/Saudi/Iran, to list just a few war zones off the top of my head. None of them had significant (or any in some cases) energy, steel and arms manufacturing capability. All have been customers of the US, UK, France and USSR/Russia. The West and Russia have since lost their monopoly on arms manufacture and Turkish drones fly in Ukraine alongside the use of Swedish made weapons. War is now a truly multinational business. China once boasted ‘we are not arms dealers’ but not any more. The arms market place is now huge. Like heroin, supply fuels demand.
George Bush’s ‘you are either with us or against us’ (uttered after 9/11) just about worked in influencing Uzbekistan and Pakistan (necessary for access to Afghanistan), but is no longer working against Russia as the East no longer dances to the West’s tune. The propaganda output, a modern frenzy, is not just a cover, a distraction, from the proxy nature of the war, but a last (forlorn) hurrah in trying to generate a unity in denial of a multipolar world. The goal of enfeebling Russia is an attempt to get one player off the board. I think it will prove a huge mistake. The West can no longer fight on several fronts at once and Biden’s attempt at appeasing Iran will not protect the Middle East nor does weakening Russia help prepare against China.
There was an intriguing statement this week by Sweden’s Prime Minister – multiculturalism is not working (though, in part, she blamed Swedes for not making it work) – which shows that reality (violence at levels even progressive Swedes can no longer ignore) eventually undermines years of propaganda. The same may happen here (as we all shiver from net-zero) except, as in Sweden, reality dawns too late.
Meanwhile, our MSM will continue their fantasy of the world. Never quite clear if they are trying to convince us or themselves. I incline to the latter after hearing a Le Monde correspondent say the The Great Replacement just isn’t true, shaking his head and looking a the floor – not true, not true. Yeah right.
Once again Viv, thank you for the information. It really is quite an eye opener.
” Loath”, is well chosen. The MOD is not a job you should wish on your kids. Nice people are appointed or get sent but soon become ‘ better ‘. I think it’s because the bottom rungs are essentially inspectors or pen pushers ( Computer pushers ) And this continues right thru and up the hierarchy, .{ A bit like professions of all kinds. }} All of which believe they are right and can impose. From laboratory floor to No. 10 handlers. The entire Civil Service takes their authority from elected representatives to push their own drug. Foremost of these weapons is the Infallible Computer and its handmaidens of lawless committees.(C+C)
I know most are just nice people doing jobs, But power of any kind is insidious, and when given these infallible ( some think ) tools, which can easily corrupt. And there’s enough of that already without making it easy.
It is easy to criticise. The British constitution is by far and away the best machinery of government for a country that I can visualise. It is cunning, follows grannies rules, Makes, clarifies , advises, , executes, and informs better than any other system I can concieve ( I Accept my limits, but not a lack of experience ), and it is all organised impeccably, from choosing representatives to paying benefits or supporting travel, or anticipating dangers and on and on. It even watches its competitors like Law or Warfare, HoL, Commons, and professions, to name some of the obvious
The British Constitution is under attack The avenues of attack are ugly, unpleasant to consider real difficult to recognise but, there are common themes such as accepted corruption ( Bothe overt and apparently harmless like lobbying ), ( C&C) , Venal, gradual, omission, capture ( By accaptance of bypass or creating of chanels ) . The opportunities for correction are everywhere and ignored as in education.
I’m sorry but it doesn’t hurt to repeat to emphasise
TGS. No need to apologise.
The British Constitution is the best.
It IS under attack and you have recognised some of the culprits.
Thing is Pauline, you can have a job needs to be done. You look at the applicants. You knowthat half are more or less corrupt. How do you tell ?.. Then, You look at those left, You know half are going to be tempted one way or another and fall for it. Others start to think they were born to deserve the job. Others are just idle, others lie to get the job. It’s a minefield. So what do you do. ?
You guess, use grannies sayings .Females are usually supportive of a man,, so that is a huge signpost, etc.. Anyway, you educate, always have a reserve available. With or without recognition . I was once apparently in that position. The job was colossal and dwarfed my later career which never rose above 3000 ( on purpose ). So I invented my own grannies saying. ” Young, bright, and tough. ” over and above the rest of it.. Poor old Boris has very little choice really. Same as usI suppose. I don’t think I’d employ any of ’em. (Maybe Angela Rayner )
So maybe a little bit of corruption as a price worth paying ( After all , he only has 650 max to choose from.). He has obviously had to make that decision many times. I mean, just look.
I reckon I’ve earned a moan. Even though I’ve usually been lucky with good people
Hi Viv – it’s certainly a proxy war now but rapidly escalating, undeclared war, then full on WW3.
See this:
“Canadian general arrested in Mariupol”
https://www.voltairenet.org/article216731.html
The above is a story that is slowly and reluctantly making it’s way into the MSM. Apparently this guy was running a bio lab.
I’ve got pictures of the bodies of US and other Western nation senior military officers lying dead; the point is that we in the West are a long way now from being neutral, I can’t seen now how this war will not spread very soon. Even the Pope now admits that the EU started this war and the bankers and globalists can’t wait to stoke the flames, war is what they want.
I’ve got some very interesting live video footage, I’ll try and post some of it soon.
You – all – might like to read this report, written two days ago;

Viv – Here’s a video by a priest where he talks about Ukrainian attacks on their own people, particularly by the Asovs who are Nazis.
https://rumble.com/v13u92o-priest.html
Western governments including our own are supporting these people so may we conclude that out governments – including the British – are in fact Nazis?
Our government has been infiltrated and taken over by our enemies.
flyer at 9.39 am. I am gobsmacked that the Pope has said that.
Certainly the E.U. tempting Ukraine with the possibility of EU membership was a large part of the overall policy of poking the Russian bear.
But isn’t the U.S. and particularly NATO more to blame?
Pauline – yes they’ve all been poking away, the globalists want a war.
