“Sir Beer” ante portas: the fond dream of the MSM
It’s the day after the people have spoken, some, that is, and only locally. As predicted, the Tories lost, Libdems and Lab won: so far, that is. Most local councils, so very concerned about the welfare of their council workers, only start counting this morning. It’s just another sign for the importance of elections: vote counts are tedious because nothing really changes. Since only 67 or so of 200 councils in England have declared at the time of writing, there’s no news yet of turnout.
In ‘other’ news we read in the FT that the Bank of England will raise interest rates to 1%, warning that inflation will rise to 10% and that we’re facing a recession (paywalled link). Will that become the next ‘Big Fear’ thing? Looking at this morning’s headlines in the print editions (link) it would seem so. The ‘Mirror’ has already started the ‘Big Wail’ by crying ‘why won’t they help?’, meaning the PM and Sunak.
Perhaps someone ought to explain to the Mirror and to all other MSM writers that all the goodies to which “we” have become entitled will have to be paid for, including the ‘Rolls Royce of civil services’ and the military material we’re giving away. Well, there’s one piece of ‘good news’: the Sun informs us that the FA will keep that footie ‘anthem’. Phew. Life wouldn’t have been worth living if they hadn’t …
Meanwhile nobody in the Westminster MSM is drawing attention to the simple fact that thanks to sanctions the economies in western countries are already feeling the pinch of recession and inflation. The German online paper ‘Die Welt’ (link, use machine translation) had lots of reports on this phenomenon this morning, with business people and even some politicians pointing this out.
“We” are of course living on the blessed island of ignorance where such things as food shortages don’t matter because surely Sunak will heed the howls of the economically illiterate and somehow give us back a bit from the money we’re already paying into the Treasury coffers. How this will help when there’s simply not enough food being produced – well: it’s voodoo economics.
Meanwhile the obligatory reference to the Ukrainian war must be mentioned. The Times has a ‘report’ that Russian generals ‘are turning on each other’ because that war isn’t going as western military analysts have predicted. None other than nice Mr Wallace said so (link, paywalled), so it must be true. The DM duly copied that piece of ‘news’, garnished with an observation by the current Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Radakin (link).
I had no idea that “we” had so many spies left in Moscow, with privileged access to what Mr Putin really thinks. Of course, in order to keep our ‘war fear’ interest going, the usual ‘human interest’ stories have to be written as well. There’s the ongoing drama of that Azovstal industrial plant and The Times has produced the most despicable headline yet, taken right out of the Goebbels playbook:
“Mariupol civilians trapped in Azovstal being exterminated by Russia, fighters warn” (link, paywalled)
“Exterminate” – no, our warmongers don’t have that in a smaller size. It’s tedious to have to repeat that our hacks omit mentioning yet again that those ‘heroic’ fighters have been told repeatedly that they only have to surrender to save themselves and those remaining civilians. It’s even more tedious to point out that the Russians have again and again, for day after day, opened ‘humanitarian corridors’ for civilians but that those fighters prefer to hide behind those human shields.
It’s becoming more and more difficult to find out what is really going on. After all, most of us simply do not have the time to scour the internet for relevant data, for unbiased reporting. Not even contrary opinion pieces are permitted in our propaganda outlets. You might like to read this article – it is an opinion piece but well documented and is and antidote to the official propaganda line the west’s MSM are inundating us with.
Today is yet another day where I feel as if we’re living in cloud-cuckoo-land. The real problems affecting our lives are not being addressed. The Westminster swamp dwellers are giving us theatre performance after theatre performance, duly and uncritically reported by their MSM mouthpieces, without any regard to the reality we experience.
Sadly, we who are relying more and more on alt media, shunning those ‘official’ tales, are nonetheless condemned to live under the same conditions as those who have blithely given up their facility for critical thought, from masks wearing and submission to multiple jabs to ‘war with Russia’.
We have to live with the economic fall-out as well as those who already demand “Sunak must help”, in the face of inflation, recession and the predictable food shortages. The Germans are already starting to hoard flour … odd, isn’t it, that our MSM haven’t produced images of empty supermarket shelves so far …
Yesterday’s local elections are just another item on the list of discrepancies between what the MSM propagandists are telling us is important and our real lives. These local elections have been gleefully turned into “let’s kick BoJo where it really hurts”, with no reports on how the rise in council taxes has affected us. I’m not aware of any reports on the exorbitant salaries for top local ‘CEOs’, on wastage, on the local costs of installing ‘green’ cycle paths rather than looking after the crumbling local roads.
The best example for biased reporting and for MSM Westminster editors aiming insidiously for ‘regime change’ here at home, is the top photo gracing “Metro” in the BBC’s compilation (link). It shows scruffy Johnson, dog on lead, leaving the polling station, juxtaposed to a photo of sunny Sir Beer Starmer, hand-in-hand with his wife, strolling down a street.
Yes, dear friends: a ‘new broom’ in No 10 will heal all our woes! He’ll see to it that there’ll be flour in the supermarkets and petrol in our cars, that we’ll have gas to heat our homes and that there won’t be any NHS waiting lists any longer. If that’s not happening we can always blame Putin.
Under “Sir Beer’s” guidance there will always be sunshine, it’ll only rain during the night. There’ll be flowers and rainbows on demand and every household will receive a real, live unicorn … and we’ll all live happily ever after in la-la-land.
Now that the Conservatives under the inept leadership of Boris Johnson has lost in excess of 300 seats and where the Liberal Democrats have made the majority of gains, will he finally realise that the game is up for him and resign. Probably not is the answer to that question because he thinks he has a god given right to rule over us forever and a day. The economy is going pear-shaped, inflation is rising, the cost of food is going up in addition to the cost of gas and electricity and the bulk of the population will see their standard of living plummet to the lowest level in living memory, but Johnson feels that his demolition job of Britain as a going concern is not done yet, as he plans to invest even more millions of our money into the Ukraine war machine whilst at the same deplete our own defence capability to that of a third world country, and where he will force us to be reliant upon foreign countries for our power needs whilst inviting many more millions of foreign migrants with the offer of free accommodation, pocket money, free mobile phones, free tablets, free medical and dental are and freedom passes on the railways, all paid for out of our taxes. And if that wasn’t enough, he is doing next to nothing to solve the Northern Ireland protocol where part of our country has been hived off to the European Union with separate customs rules, which has now led to the province voting in Sinn Fein government which will undoubtedly lead to calls for a United Ireland. I would have thought that the majority of us have had our fill of Boris Johnson’s corrosive and utterly incompetent style of leadership to last us a life time and maybe even the majority of traditional conservative voters who never wanted to be taken down the green net zero route and instead wanted a strong and decisive conservative minded government. Time is indeed fast running out for the Conservative Party to turn things around in their favour before the next general election, and if they retain Johnson as leader of their party they will not see power again for a very long time. It is high time for those complacent Conservative MP to take the initiative and send in those no confidence letters to Sir Graham Brady of the 1922 back bench committee and rid this country of the clown in residence at 10, Downing Street. I am sorry that Biscotte might think that this is yet another anti Johnson on my part, because it is and needs to be said, otherwise within two years we will be lumbered with a Liberal Democrat government who will take us back into the European Union.
re above insert ‘tirade’ between Johnson and on
Just this afternoon, my internet provider has blocked access to RT (Russia Today).
So I opened up Tor. Life is good.
In particular this report is an interesting move.
https://www.rt.com/news/555058-states-sue-biden-censorship/
*States sue Biden over Big Tech ‘collusion’ *
Missouri and Louisiana Attorneys General have accused the US president of ‘colluding’ with Big Tech to censor information
The players being sued are going to divert more than a little ‘deflection energy’ to dodge the bullets. And their antics could easily be construed as proving the case against Biden and his cronies.
Please Miss. I don’t understand. Why is there ‘not enough food being produced’.
Does it matter which establishment party is in No 10 when it appears the incumbents are manipulated by and follow the directions of unelected individuals, foreign powers and NGOs? The Tories have been in office for 12 years demonstrating beyond doubt that conservatism is the very last thing that they intend to uphold or deliver. Furthermore, it is highly unlikely, whoever their leader may be, that conservatism will be promoted (exceept at election time) and central to the parties governance and agenda in the foreseeable future.
Jake…………well, you are right of course. The current Conservative Party under Johnson’s disasterous leadership does not seem to know the first thing about conservatism. Having said that Reform UK, UKIP, Heritage Party and For Britain didn’t get any councilors as far as I can see, although Anne Marie Waters came third in Hartlepool with about 1200 votes. I have been on the verge of re-joining the Heritage Party and received a newsletter from them in the past week stating that they were getting a very good response at the doorstep at Castle Point, but they only managed to secure 23 votes which is derisory to say the least. So much for the positive response at the doorstep. I am presently at a loss of where to go politically. I would have been embarrassed to have only secured 23 votes in an election as a UKIP candidate. It is obvious that their message is just not cutting through in any way shape or form. Are you aware of any UKIP results at all?
Last place in all but one ward where TUSC deprived them of that place. 18 votes in Paddock Wood, Tunbridge Wells, candidate a member of the NEC no less. 2 wards in Scotland also with 18 votes.
What was that you said about 23?
Jake…..The simple answer is that UKIP as far as I can tell did not win any council seats on Thursday but lost three council seats, so what indeed their total number of existing councilors are now, goodness knows. It a right old job and half trying to find out as it is with any party. Reform UK won two seats. Yes that’s right just two seats. On the strength of that result there is no way in a month of Sundays that Reform UK are ever going to replicate the electoral success of UKIP in its heyday prior to the 2016 EU referendum. The Heritage Party also did not gain any seats either, but apparently their candidate in Crawley got 6% share of the vote, and their candidate in Slough got 8% share of the vote, and a candidate of theirs got 15% in Prestatyn, the last of percentage of which is a step in the right direction but still not enough to win an election . None of these parties are going to get anywhere unless they stand more than one candidate in any council election, but it undoubtedly this all boils down to lack of members, lack of candidates, lack of activists and the most important thing lack of finance. With regard to these elements and voter apathy, the future of politics in this country does not bade well, and we’ll be lumbered with the same old same old forever and day. The whole situation makes for thoroughly depressing reading.
All UKIP’s remaining Cllrs are up next year. I think it’s 7 but may be less as people give up on the dead parrot all the time. This time next year I can predict that there will be no UKIP Cllrs
The crooks in the banks and their providers in the BoE are about to make the killing of this century. In this context Percentage is a dirty word. Especially if you are just about sentient with connections and are able to rig markets and harvest the better %,s. And that’s why the gov’t does nothing . All those luvly tax percents going up like rockets. Luverly Jubbly. Next year (Thanks to inflation)Tax income will rocket, the productivity and GDP/C will crash. the rich get immeasurebly richer, American ‘entrpreneurs will take away what is left of anything. And we can have 3 olympic golds. and professional football.. But no work except as servants.( Hospitallity ),or unreformed Union controlled and starved slaves.( Train and rail ostlers or footplate men )
TG- the replacement of tax revenue they crave, is becoming the black economy. Look around you. It is the same as the 1970s. Its Fatcher wot stopt it.
Oh, and the 3 golds would be just one if Russians were allowed to compete.
12 years of Tory government. They have done their party donors proud. As for the credulous who voted for them?
Look at this f*****g insanity. It appears that our British army are now teaching our soldiers that whiteness is a psychosis.
“Diversity and inclusivity in the British Army; the Psychosis of Whiteness”
The latest way to undermine our armed forces; treason in this case.
Here’s the Forces.net article:
“Op Teamwork: Army to tackle cultural and inclusivity issues among the service”

It has been many years since I’ve set foot in my native land and so it is a shock to me that it has descended to this level of lunacy.
Here’s the link to the video.

Sorry I’m just recovering from a seizure.
Gawd, flyer – my best wishes for a speedy recovery! Do take things easy and look after yourself!
Viv – don’t worry my heart is strong and I haven’t really had a seizure but I thought I was going to when I read about this latest insanity.
All I can say is that if anybody ever tries to make me feel guilty for being a white Englishman I’ll hit them so hard it’ll break their bones.
If their is such a thing as reincarnation and before my next birth I’m allowed to choose my ethnicity, I’ll choose to come back as a white Englishman. For those that don’t like that I say: if you want a fight I’m happy to oblige.
I will join you Flyer, I have fought for my Queen and country but I’m still able. If our visitors dont like lt , they are welcome to leave, I will not stop them and definitely will never apologise for being a superior white
MSM mis-interpret the loss of three ‘totemic’ London boroughs (Westminster, Wandsworth, Barnet) to Labour. What has been happening since the 2018 local elections is the continuation of white flight. Immigration has claimed London and they have now taken its councils. Little to do with partygate and more to do with demographic changes about which the MSM are silent (how you know it is significant).
These newly Labor councils will work with London’s maniac Labour mayor to further damage the capital.
The demographic changes in London and other British cities and towns has been in full flow since Thatcher’s times and she didn’t do anything to address the matter either. The Brazilianisation/Lebanonisation of London is virtually complete with English cities following, possibly much sooner than most expect . A not inconsiderable percentage of this is by courtesy of the Conservative Party of Britain and N.Ireland.
JB- When Kakkamanna Kharn was elected London Mayor again I was not alone in commenting that it was the end of blue eyed Mayors.
Last year I had to visit Lundunstan for a couple of months – did not speak the language and felt like a stranger in a strange land.
Your mileage might be being different memsahib.
Read about Harrow in the news Stout? Thought not. Gone Tory after 12 years in the Labour wilderness. Picked up the news on Twitter.
Out in darkest Surrey, the rebellion against Green Belt predation to house all that white flight, rather than meet our own housing needs, continues. In 2017 we – Residents Group, Parish Cllrs, concerned county Cllrs & concerned residents, vowed to take party politics out of our council chamber and pick them off election by election. 2 more scalps on Thursday night, plus another 2 taken by LibDems (in their stronghold towns, sadly so long as it isn’t their bit of remaining Greenbelt they don’t care what gets dumped on ours.)
I need to go out. I’ve been informed that there are some out of date tins at the corner shop. I have to see if I can afford/steal/or view one.
Just in case we forget here is yet another outrageous promotion of the Great Global Warming scam:
https://getpocket.com/explore/item/4-new-myths-about-climate-change-and-how-to-debunk-them?utm_source=pocket-newtab-global-en-GB
Sadly too many people still blindly accept it and cannot be bothered to seek out the real science behind the myth.
Here’s a very interesting audio only discussion from The Duran, one hour and minutes long. A bit long perhaps but it delves into the war in Ukraine very deeply and digs deep into the doctrines, theological and even Masonic roots of the situation; the same old sh*t that has always started wars.
