Thanks to lefty vigilance this edifice is still in lefty hands …

Somehow the government propaganda machinery seems to stutter a bit. The various ‘sources’ dripping gossip into the ears of the Westminster MSM ‘authors’ either have nothing to say or are fearful of consequences when there’s the ‘regime change’ they are pushing. Perhaps there are too many early Christmas parties in Whitehall?

It’s of course possible that they assume we peasants are too preoccupied with either ‘that’ couple (H & M, since you ask) or footie. Thus, thick and stupid as we are, we cannot expected to take in other ‘news’. Still, the news editors and headline writers have made a valiant effort, shown by the ever so useful compilation by Auntie Beeb (link).

I’ll start with the most hilarious front page – you have to scroll down somewhat – which was produced by ‘Metro’:  ‘A German Coup Foiled’. In their online edition this ‘news’ has been buried way down. We find that tin their printed front page headline they got the number of German ‘coupists’ wrong. There weren’t 35 but 25 ‘enemies of the state’, corrected in their online report (link). Sloppy work, this!

Why was ‘Metro’ interested? Because one of those ‘conspirators’ is from an ancient noble family. However, the Metro editors must have been incapable of looking at German MSM reports which is astonishing because good machine translators are now easily accessible even for us plebs. Else they’d have noticed that the German newspaper-reading peasants were utterly scathing about the huge effort made by the state machinery and about the timing.

This razzia, with 3,500 police forces to arrest 25 people, just happened two days after a horrendous knife attack, by a ‘refugee’ who killed one 14-year old girl and stabbed the other on their way to school. This crime was reported even here in the UK (see e.g. here). Just like here in the UK, extensive reports about the ‘One Man’ knifing schoolgirls is discouraged.. No questions must be asked about ‘refugees’ and about ‘refugee homes’ placed in tiny villages. People could be upset.

Moreover, it’s obviously utterly inconvenient for our MSM to mention the increasing contempt Germans now hold for their own MSM, never mind the cynicism with which they regard this ludicrous ‘coup’, being thwarted by the police just right on time to avert inconvenient questions about murder, knife crimes and sensational robberies perpetrated by migrants and ‘refugees’.

Furthermore, reports about the increasing dissatisfaction of ever larger numbers of Germans with the current Red-Green German government might inconvenience Starmer and Labour:

“Sir Keir Starmer is exploring the possibility of a “partnerschaft” with Berlin to deepen ties between the two countries. The UK and Germany are Nato’s two largest defence spenders in Europe. […] Following the election of Olaf Scholz as German chancellor last year, Labour has cultivated close ties with the SPD, its sister party in Berlin.” (link, paywalled)

There’s more to this sudden ‘closeness’. See this little snippet (my emphasis):

“Starmer travelled to Berlin last summer for talks with Scholz while Lord Mandelson, the party grandee, has urged the Labour leader to seek inspiration from the “unflashy” German chancellor.” (link, paywalled)

I wonder why The Times’ chief editors allowed Mandelson’s name to slip in. It is, after all, a sign that, en coulisse, the Blair group is pulling the Starmer strings, something which ought to scare all of us.

I wonder if the Westminster MSM chief editors are actually aware that the SPD was the coalition partner in Merkel’s governments and that Mr Scholz was her finance minister. The current economic misery in Germany is not least the product of Scholz and Merkel’s policies.

It doesn’t need mentioning that the German Home Sec is a socialist who sees the ‘fight against Right’ as her main work while her government is giving monetary support to lefty Antifa groups which are becoming ever more violent. These groups are also aiming for ‘regime change’, towards a DDR Mk II, but that’s fine, innit. Also fine is the ‘immigration policy’ this German Home Sec is pushing. This is clearly something with which Blair and Mandelson fully agree, knifings of school girls notwithstanding.

Meanwhile back here in Blighty, where strikes of this or that group are looming, there’s a warning from the Army. This has only made it onto the DT’s front page, both in print and online at the time of writing. Under the headline “Army fury as soldiers told to give up their Christmas to cover striking workers” we read:

“Soldiers should not be made to give up Christmas to cover for striking NHS workers who earn more than them, senior military figures have told ministers. […] Senior members of the Armed Forces are understood to have also warned ministers that the plan risks weakening the “operational capability” of the military to respond to threats.” (paywalled link)

Indeed so! One wonders if our valiant Defence Sec Ben Wallace will have a word with Hunt and Sunak about the payment soldiers receive (my emphasis):

“One senior defence source said: “You’ve only got to look at a private soldier on £22,000 a year and whose pay scales have not kept up with inflation for the last decade having to give up Christmas, or come straight off operations, to cover for people who want 19 per cent and are already paid in excess of what he or she would be, and it’s just not right. We’ve got to the stage now where the Government’s first lever it reaches for every time there is any difficulty, whether it’s floods, strikes, all the rest of it, is the Armed Forces, as opposed to it being the last resort.” (paywalled link)

Will Wallace try and get more money for the soldiers? Difficult, innit, when he’s got to replenish the loss of all which he’s sent to the Ukraine. I can’t help to think that Whitehall, that No 10 regards the Armed Forces as a plaything, to be used and abused any way they want. Shades of ‘It’s Tommy this and Tommy that …’ in Rudyard Kipling’s poem …

Don’t expect Labour to stand up for the squaddies. They also regard the Armed Forces as their plaything. Don’t expect to read anything in our MSM about the plight of homeless soldiers who are not given quarter in five~, four~ or even just three~star hotels like a certain other group!

I leave you with a heartwarming story! There’s this ‘eco-dog’ who fetches plastic bottles for recycling. Of course, it’s a border collie! He picks up plastic bottles left on the grounds where he walks and his owners then take them all to the recycling banks. How utterly clever, innit like! The Times has dedicated a whole report to this a-ma-zing ‘eco-dog’ (link, paywalled).

Anyone who has shared their life with collies or indeed any other dog could’ve told the reporter that dogs love the sound plastic bottles make when chewing on them. That’s why they look for them. Of course one can train one’s collie to make an extra effort to find those bottles by the timely offer of rewards! It’s what dollies and dogs generally do. Nothing ‘eco’ about it. But isn’t it a lovely ‘green’ story!

Today’s advice is to dress up warm. Not only will there be a really cold cold spell, perhaps even with snow in the coming days, there will be a metaphorical cold spell when the Westminster cabal get the regime change they are working so hard for. After all, Starmer is going to ‘learn’ from the German SPD which has just prevented a ‘coup’ and which regards stamping out anything they declare to be ‘right wing’ as their main task.

Who knows: some of us might well end up in jail should Labour, with Blair and Mandelson’s help, get into No 10. You have been warned …
