The font of all knowledge, sorry: propaganda …
As you, dear readers, know or have suspected: I’m not a great fan of the MSM and the way they ‘report’, nudging and spinning news items, always preferring gossip, i.e. leaks from ]sources’, to doing their own research. One of my pet peeves (I’m polite here …) is that the whole lot of formerly independent papers are looking more and more like things out of 1930s Germany, following scripts given by the almighty propaganda ministry. On top of that, all those powerful chief editors, correspondents and columnists, happily trying to force U-Turns on the PM, working for ‘regime change’ – these powerful people seem to be afraid to publish something when apparently there is no ‘guidance’.
Today’s papers are a case in point (see here), or rather: this morning’s print editions. I cannot fathom why the whole bunch went with “Poison Nurse in the dock” while surely the news from Kiev ought to have taken the top spot? After all, Russia was shelling the whole country since early yesterday morning. There was even a video which made the rounds, of the BBC ‘Kiev correspondent’ ducking when he heard explosions – here, if you must – but nooo: ‘poisonous, baby-killing nurse is what we need to be exited about this morning. Only the DM and the Guardian gave ‘Teh War’ top billing.
Back to the Ukraine, yesterday’s bombardment and the shamelessness with which this is reported, for example on the front news page of the BBC. Here’s a screenshot taken early today:

Side-by-side ignorant readers are told that, yes, brutal Russia attacked \innocent’ civilians but actually Russia is ‘exhausted’ according to GCHQ. The DM however must take the prize for outright, blatant propaganda. Their online frontpage is topped by this headline:
“’Desperate’ Putin’s double trouble: UK intelligence chief says Russian despot is losing support at home and his ‘exhausted’ troops are running out of supplies – as defiant Zelensky taunts Kremlin that missile barrage which killed 11 will not break Ukraine” (link)
Could someone please explain to me why it is that ‘11 killed’ in those attacks yesterday are so brutal on the one hand while on the other nobody in the West and the Western media ever mentioned the people killed by Ukrainian shelling on a daily basis in the Donbas region, for eight years? Is ‘collateral damage’ acceptable when it occurs due to western or in this case Ukrainian bombardments?
Moreover, according to The Times, this was ‘carnage’ (link, paywalled). I don’t need to point out that the eight years of continuous shelling of the Donbas region by the ukraine was never ‘carnage’, it wasn’t even worthy of reports in our unbiased MSM.
Here’s another question: why is it that those of us who inform ourselves elsewhere knew already yesterday morning that Elensky had been ‘taken to a safe bunker somewhere in Western Ukraine’ and that his ‘defiant video’ was produced in a safe studio? Here’s a quote from the DM:
“A defiant Volodymyr Zelenksy branded Russia a ‘terrorist state’ after the attack and said it showed the Kremlin is desperate as it is ‘not capable of opposing us on the battlefield’. In a video taunting his counterpart, President Zelensky said that despite the strikes Ukraine had managed to shoot down half of the missiles and drones aimed at his country, adding his people ‘cannot be intimidated’.” (link)
People more informed in military matters than I am pointed out yesterday that much of the damage shown in ‘official Ukrainian’ videos were caused by malfunctioning Ukrainian air defence systems. Here’s another quote (my emphasis):
“Putin claimed yesterday that the missiles were aimed at military, energy and communications networks, but Ukraine says they actually hit power plants and busy civilian areas. The attacks are thought to be retaliation for an attack on the Kerch Bridge on Saturday which linked the annexed region of Crimea to the Russian mainland.” (link)
Might we infer that, actually, Putin didn’t just ‘claim’ but that ‘power plants’ were indeed hit? Interesting … but irrelevant because Elensky can easily repair all that damage, correct? He’ll use those latest weapon systems sent by the West for those urgent repairs, correct?
Rounding up my ongoing critical analysis of the way our beloved MSM operate, here’s a another point in case. Reporting on a speech the GCHQ chief, Sir Jeremy fleming, will give today, the BBC and DM picked out and headlined a remark about ‘Russia is exhausted’ (see here and here). The DT’s headline goes just a bit further, mentioning China:
“Russian people turning on Vladimir Putin and his war, UK spy chief says – Head of GCHQ says public are realising president ‘has badly misjudged’ conflict and also raises concerns over China’s ‘military might’” (paywalled link)
Obviously we must trust the sage analysis of the GCHQ chief, not least because normal Brits are unable to check out news from Russia for themselves, thanks to that ‘iron curtain’ cutting us off from accessing Russian media ever since February this year. Sanctions, you understand, and in any case we plebs would become distrustful and fall prey to Russian propaganda if we were permitted access.
One can still access the English site of the Russian news agency TASS where there’s a compilation of reports on the military operations in the Ukraine (link). Of course, Elensky and the western helpers in the military and meejah won’t be affected by the loss of electricity which still affects 300 localities (link), because ‘priorities’ need to be observed.
Unlike the DT which referred to ‘China’ only as by-the-by in their headline, The Times went with just that point in theirs: “GCHQ chief Sir Jeremy Fleming: We must tackle China’s plans to cripple satellites” (link, paywalled). Well, with Russia and Putin ‘on the ropes’ according to GCHQ, “we” must look for new dangers:
“Sir Jeremy Fleming, the director of GCHQ, will warn that Beijing is believed to be building a powerful anti-satellite capability that will rival GPS and deny other countries access to space if there is a war. […] China’s development of such technologies could represent a “huge threat to us all” as its Communist Party dictatorship seeks to use key developments to tighten its grip on power at home and spread influence abroad, he will add. Other concerning technology being developed by China includes its creation of a centralised digital currency, which could allow the state to monitor bank transactions of users.” (link, paywalled)
“We” in the form of the BoE are of course not developing a ‘centralised digital currency’, are we! “We” are of course also a space-faring nation whose ‘access to space’, whenever we do get around to creating something, will be denied by China. So are we being prepared for a preemptive strike against China even as we face a deep economic crisis and a crisis in energy supplies?
At least, reading between the lines, “we” won’t need to pay much attention to Russia which is on its knees and will be defeated by ‘defiant’ Elensky, wit the help of a couple more HIMARs and an ‘air defence system’ provided by Biden. Or are we?
Here’s a retired NATO commander, quoted in The Times: “Arm Europe for war with Russia, retired commander tells Nato” (link, paywalled). Yes, Sir – we can surely do that while we’re running out of electricity, gas and petrol! I’m sure we plebs will be delighted to bear blackouts and more inflation. Never mind though that we don’t have a proper arms industry and that we’ve given away most of our weapons now being smashed by Russia in the Ukraine. And let’s not mention China where important components of such weapon systems are being manufactured …
When I read the ponderous pronouncements of such ‘chiefs’, NATO, GCHQ: no difference, and when I observe the slavish kow-towing of our MSM in front of such ‘experts’, I ask myself if all those august people actually believe a word they say or if this is just more fear porn theatre, produced to entertain us thick peasants.
Mind you – I would like to know what specific thing I must be afraid of today: Russia, China, a new pandemic, blackouts, more inflation? We need more guidance!
I just heard that there was another bond market bail out today in Britain, this is heading rapidly into complete financial and economic disaster and there’s nothing in the mainstream media.
I absolutely despair at the constant fairy tales being fed to the public by the mainstream media while we’re being led by a useless, globalist traitor of a Prime Minister.
Oh and there has been massive damage to infrastructure in Ukraine, Putin has stopped playing, has taken the gloves off and will level Ukraine. The claim by Western mainstream media that Ukraine is winning is yet another fairy tale.
To be honest I think that Britain is finished, it is facing catastrophic financial and economic meltdown while being invaded by military aged hostiles, all we have standing in the way is Liz Truss: God help us.
Wow! I read the news On ID first -from you – in New Zealand – then on Neil McCoy Ward – from Isle of Man. Nothing in our MSM at that point.
Then on Breitbart.

A mass rally of the good guys in Madrid. Funny how the MSM missed this. Mind you, if you google Vox 22 hoping to find out more, all you get is a string (no pun intended) of links to electric guitars. So I guess it never happened.
Trump backs Eurosceptic parties against the EU machine at mass rally in Madrid.

Steyn last night showed a notice on the door of a Provincial GP surgery:
“Vaccination income is vital to the surgery.”
Vital, not for your health; vital for their income.
They seem to think Ethics is a place near Suthics, not their fundamental code.
Leaving aside the WEF co-agenda, there you have the entire Pharma scam in a nutshell.
We are getting to the point of supreme irony, where if they jabbed fewer people there would be fewer people coming to the surgery ill.
“They seem to think Ethics is a place near Suthics, not their fundamental code.” Brilliant Phil O.
I wrote this before today’s article, honest. Unable to post earlier.
An escalation of the war! Brutal slaughter of civilians! Really? That’s the best they can do?
Normally the response to an attack is, well, a response. Escalation is the original blow that caused the response. Russia launched over 200 strikes against infrastructure across Ukraine, yet, and you can bet Western propaganda would have bigged it up if it could, only 14 civilians were reported killed. Now that’s what I call precision. Of course any deaths are regrettable, but compare that with the death toll of civilians in the Donetsk, 14,000 over eight years, and the 10,000 casualties of the U.S. ‘shock and awe’ blitz on Baghdad.
Moon of Alabama lists 27 reports from around the world since Mar 2022, seven months’ worth, all claiming Russia is running out of missiles. They seem to have been ‘running out’ for a long time, but like the Widow’s cruse, they keep on coming.
Right on knee-jerk cue, after a huge barrage, we are told, grasping at propaganda straws, ooh Russia will be short of missiles now. Like the naive green zealots, in their orange petrochem waterproofs and sipping from a plastic beaker, unable to grasp what stopping oil actually means, the Western propagandists really do seem now to believe their own make believe.
Alex and Alexander on The Duran give their opinion on what is going on in Ukraine. A very different picture to the one that our MSM paints.
A Truss betrayal??

Harry F A- you are always telling us about your Nostradarmitage predictions. Didn’t you tell us recently that Russia was out of ammo, out of weapons? So . . . ?
Must have been global warming that caused all that damage eh?
You couldn’t make it up. Oh, wait. You do make it up HAF.
Dear Viv,
You ask, “I would like to know what specific thing I must be afraid of today: Russia, China, a new pandemic, blackouts, more inflation? We need more guidance!”
My suggestion is, the current temporary occupant of No 10.
She told us she would govern as a Conservative… I’m still waiting. A Conservative would put the interests of the UK first. That would start with severing all ties with the EU, with controlling immigration, with scrapping Carbon Net Zero, with not borrowing or printing money to give away. It would include not cozying up to Micron and her new “best friend” Mr “e”; a lovely man who has a way of eliminating his political opponents.
She might also set a precedent and lead by example… as WE are to suffer a long cold and dark winter,,perhaps SHE could propose a dramatic reduction in the pay and perks of our elected representatives, after all, “We are all in it together”
Ah no – that would be ‘political’. What we need a vague but huge things we know we can’t do anything about except be frightened, such as China or Russia. Truss is someone we can do something about, according to the MSM, like replacing her with Starmer … so that’s not something we need to be scared of.
No Richard M. What we need to be frightened of is that Truss and Kwarteng will be thwarted in their sensible policies for growth of the U.K. economy.
Sensible policies for growth? Yes please! When do they start? A ponzi scheme based on mass immigration, house prices and printing money is not a sustainable economic plan. Add in the green, the woke and the warmongering. Think we have already seen enough of Truss to know the end is nigh.
Indeed Richard but it seems she was already got at by the globalists; maybe BoJo pulling her strings too.

**And 14 dead some by Ukrainin anti missile missiles**.
As Harry F Again would say – **evil**, **evil**, **evil**.
HFA quote ”B52s would have only killed three”.
NORMAN
History repeating itself, it could well be that having been shelled and had missile attacks for the last eight years without mention in the western press, the bombing of the bridge in Crimea( now Russia ) was
the last straw.
Quote from a speech made by Air Marshall ‘Bomber’ Arthur Harris in 1942 when the RAF and the USAF started to hit German cities.
‘The Nazis entered this war under the childish delusion that they could bomb everybody else and that nobody was going to bomb them at Rotterdam and London and half a hundred other places they put that rather niave theory into operation they sowed the wind and now they are going to reap the whirlwind.’
It looks as if the bear has been poked once to often.
The title of this video is self explanatory but the views are worth listening to.
“Migrant crisis | ‘The Government has got this entirely wrong’, says border control expert”
While we treat the illegal immigrants as honoured guests they will never stop coming. They are supporting people smugglers by paying thousands for the cross-channel jaunt to a free luxury hotel. What other country treats imported criminals like this while the indigenous population has to choose between heating and eating? We will soon run out of hotel space. What happens then? This madness will be the downfall of the UK.
They Will Never Stop Coming:

How much worse does it have to get before you will stop complaining and join a centre Right party Ken?
In this video Nigel Farage talks about the ongoing migrant disaster and the continuing failure of the government to address it.

flyer. I’m glad Nigel Farage is still talking out about immigration because he is undoubtedly talking sense on that subject. He always has done.
He also pointed out way back that the U.K. has to get out of the E.C.H.R. to get free of the E.U.
Here some shocked Camelot Hotel guests express their views.
“Migrant crisis | Cornwall hotel guests and workers react to Home Office migrant approach”
Here’s something that you won’t read in the mainstream media either. Apparently the government have been trying to procure the very luxurious Camelot Castle Hotel in Tintagel, Cornwall (https://www.camelotcastle.com/) to accommodate illegal migrants; the mythical birthplace of King Arthur. Here a disgruntled hotel manager talks of his disbelief.
“Hotel owner ‘thought it was a joke’ when Home Office asked him to house migrants”
Why is this news again , have the population been asleep for the last two years, this is happening all over the U.K and for the hotels it’s very good business. Wait until the home office starts requisitioning accomodation in private homes, Oh wait…..
Harry F Again- its 08.32 hrs and no antagonism from you yet. Didn’t wet the bed today then?
Me? I have to work for a living. Not like you on the dole.
