Did you really think we can stop being afraid?
As expected, SAGE is at it again, as are our covid MSM. It’s all about keeping us in fear and despondency because there’ll be new covid waves. It’s getting beyond tedious. There are also ‘NHS News’ which at first glance look welcome. However – there’s always a ‘however’ in the tail … more on that below.
Let’s start with the covid news because these will affect our lives in the near future. Apparently BJ is ‘holding out’ and will permit the easing of restrictions planned for Monday to go forward. Even the promised ‘freedom from lockdown’ on Midsummer Day is still on the cards. However, there are those ‘local hotspots’ – Bolton on the one hand, London on the other – and it’s again about ‘rising case numbers’, therefore: panic stations now! Here’s PHE:
“Public Health England yesterday said 1,313 cases of the B.1.617.2 varian [that Indian variant]t had been identified, up from 520 last week. More than half are in London and the north west.” (link, paywalled)
This is grist to the mills of the SAGEs and modellers who have coined a new expression: “variant of concern”. Local lockdowns are being proposed and of course there are calls to keep restrictions going after June 21st. After all, SAGE believes that this variant might overwhelm the NHS … again. The number they are now playing with is ‘transmissibility’. Not much is known about this, but “we” need to be fearful anyway:
“Modelling for the government’s Sage advisory group by the University of Warwick has suggested that unless the Indian variant is less than 20 per cent more transmissible than the Kent variant, there will be a significant risk to the NHS. If all restrictions are lifted as planned next month, a variant that is 40 per cent more transmissible is likely to create a peak of 6,000 hospitalisations per day in August, far exceeding the January peak, of 3,768. It is possible that the daily rate could reach 15,000.” (link, paywalled)
It looks as if the Professor Fergusons are already drooling over their models in expectation of that ‘fourth wave’. However, is this rise in case numbers perhaps due to – tests? It would seem so when we recall a report in the DM a week ago, that door-to-door ‘surge testing’ was initiated in Bolton (link). ‘Seek and ye shall find’ sez the Bible – and lo and behold – they are ‘finding’! No matter that testing for covid is not a treatment, no matter that the SAGEs and the whole tribe of covid writers and editors in the MSM still haven’t sorted out the tricky question of ‘asymptomatic superspreaders’: test we must!
And what are the covid ‘authorities’, what is our covid PM going to do about those hotspots? Get cracking with more ‘surge testing’! By heck, they’ll get the desired fourth wave – see if they won’t:
“Officials are hoping that surge testing of a large number of asymptomatic people in affected areas, which has worked to contain the South African variant, will be able to keep the Indian variant in check. Last night the government announced that surge testing was being deployed in 15 areas across England.” (link, paywalled)
You didn’t really think you could escape the NHS T&T kraken, did you! Then there’s the other solution: more jabs! They’re now going to accelerate giving that 2nd dose to 10 million people and are thinking of ‘targeting the over-17s’ in those hotspots (link). Is it utterly cynical to think that our covid empire is only too happy to have this ‘outbreak’ because it’s a nice little whip to crack over the BAME population which so far has been unwilling to get jabbed?
Let’s not ask how so many people could become infected when most areas were still under severe restrictions, muzzle wearing, social distancing included. One little titbit of information was that certain people were reluctant about getting jabs for religious reasons. Perhaps, now that Ramadan is over, they’ll come forward.
Before I get to the NHS “News” here’s one little ray of sunshine: BJ told the nation that muzzle wearing will become our ‘personal responsibility’ after June 21st:
“People will still be encouraged to wear masks in confined and poorly ventilated spaces such as shops and on public transport after June 21 but will no longer face fines if they fail to do so.” (link, paywalled)
That makes some sense because the House of Zoomers will go back to becoming the House of Peacocks on that day, according to the Leader of that House, JRM. Clearly, they can’t properly peacock about without face coverings while we peasants could still be fined if we went bare-faced – that wouldn’t be fair, now would it!
And so to the NHS ‘News’. Yesterday we wrote about the NHS ‘guidance’ which was going to perpetuate the abomination of patients not being able to consult their GPs face-to-face unless they’d jumped through the hoops of asking online for a ‘phone consultation’, allowing the GP to decide on the phone if one’s worthy of being seen. The DT reports that the NHS u-turned:
“The NHS on Thursday night performed a climbdown over plans to use online and telephone “screening” for GP appointments and announced that every patient would now have the right to see their doctor face-to-face. […] NHS England has now ordered that the system be abolished amid a mounting backlash from patients’ groups and doctors. New guidance to all GPs will instead say that every practice in England must make “a clear offer of appointments in person” and respect the preferences of patients.” (paywalled link)
That’s outstanding admin speak, that is: ‘respect the preferences of patients’. Can you imagine patients battling with receptionists about their ‘rights’ – face to face? Or will we still need to make phone or online appointments? Time was when one could just walk in …
But this is by no means the end of it. Some NHS chiefs are now proposing another additional ‘gateway’, this time to keep beleaguered NHS specialists from having to cope with the enormous backlog of sick people who weren’t seen thanks to covid. It’s – ‘testing hubs’! According to this proposal, your GP could send you directly:
“to a “one-stop shop” diagnostic hub — possibly in a former high street shop — to undergo a gamut of tests. Those hubs are one of the solutions that NHS chiefs hope will help the health service deal with the challenges it faces in the wake of the pandemic.” (link, paywalled)
And what a lovely piece of joint-up thinking this is: those NHS test hubs could revive our High Streets where so many shops had to close permanently thanks to lockdowns. Clever, innit! No, don’t ask how the necessary lab facilities, now in NHS hospitals, will be transferred to those hubs. Perhaps those test will only involve computer screens where we must fill in questionnaires, allowing the computer to say ‘no’. Still that backlog exist – here are some numbers;
“There are 4.95 million on the waiting list for treatment, more than 400,000 of whom have been waiting more than a year. Millions more require follow-up appointments as part of ongoing treatment, and hospitals expect substantial additional demand from patients who have yet to appear in official statistics because they delayed coming forward for treatment out of fear earlier in the pandemic.” (link, paywalled)
Yes, that’s correct: “we” helped create this backlog because we were scared of going to hospitals. ‘Tis the tried-and-trusted medical modus operandi: first blame the patient. And here’s the thick end of that wedge:
“Saffron Cordery, the deputy chief executive of NHS Providers, said: “The NHS is going to need serious support and investment from the government to meet this challenge.” (link, paywalled)
Yay! More money for the NHS! Did you expect anything else? Did you think clapping on the doorstep will finance all those proposed hubs? I’m sure Rishi is already hard at work on somehow extracting more money from our wallets because we’ve not seen hide nor hair of him in recent weeks. Surely, everybody will be happy to keep on ‘saving the sacred cow’, with even more of our money.
I leave you with the latest covid scare story – gentlemen, avert your eyes now! LockdownSceptics reports (link) how SKY used a study to scare the pants off gentlemen. This study was of four (!) gentlemen over 65. Two of them – two! – have had covid and afterwards suffered from … ‘covid droop’. So don’t get covid, get jabbed, right?
As always, stay vigilant and mistrust what ‘covid experts’ and the covid MSM are telling us. Their Fear&Hysteria campaign is ongoing because fear makes people stupid and thus they stop asking inconvenient questions.
KBO!
Was i alone in spotting a report on teletext highlighting the role of air con in virus spreading ?
hospitals ?? open windows ??
Lots of folk think the same; why else be afraid of going into hospitals ??
Vaccinations:
“Consent must be given voluntarily and freely. The individual must be informed about the process, benefits and risks of immunisation and be able to communicate their decision.”
We never see any information from government on deaths and other ill effects, i.e. the risks mentioned above. Surely that omission makes any presumed consent invalid?

Just seen that there is a ONE MILLION EURO reward for anyone or any lab that can isolate and purify the SARS-COV-2 virus. No takers so far. It must be like one of those particles in physics that are suspected to exist but no one can actually find them.
And COVID-19 is unlike most viruses in that it has no unique symptoms: you don’t have tell-tale pustules, or turn green, say. All its extremely long list of potential symptoms are common to a wide range of illnesses. So you need a test to determine whether you have it.
Unfortunately the test, RT-PCR, chosen by our masters, was not designed as a test but as a lab tool DNA sample multiplier, and the multiplication level was set so high that it will likely register almost any viral fragment dead or alive as virus; and a fragment does not indicate active virus. Hence cases rocketed; but case (positive test) does not mean infection.
Kary Mullis, who invented the PCR test, said that it “doesn’t tell you that you are sick. These tests cannot detect free, infectious viruses at all.” Shortly after that he died. Luckily that interview was recorded.
The alternative, the lateral flow test (LFT), works differently; same principal as the pregnancy test. But its detection level was calibrated using – guess what? – the useless PCR test as the gold standard. You couldn’t make it up.
But as tools for spreading alarm and shutting down society, they are working just fine.
If the SARS-COV-2 virus has never been isolated what are all these so-called vaccines based upon. I have yet to find a satisfactory answer to this question.
When I received a ‘triumphal’ ping on my phone from the Sun announcing the end of ‘muzzles’ I thought that there would soon be a ‘reversal’. How right I was. Ever since there has been a constant succession of ‘caveats’ warning us that the ‘Indian Variant’ is coming to ‘kill us all’! I read that Boris Johnson is ‘anxious’! Some leader that…….cowering anxiously in his bunker waiting for permission from Sage as to what to do and say next!!!! A puir wee timorous beastie!………
To digress slightly, I’m fed up to the back teeth of talking on the phone to people wearing muzzles. I spend about 5 minutes repeatedly asking them to speak louder and clearer, not realising why I can’t hear them; then they finally admit it’s because they’re muzzled.
I had this with the doctors surgery and with Asda over the past few days. I said to them very impatiently, “how stupid and take the thing off”.
The way things are now is an abomination. How can people let themselves be so degraded and humiliated.
I also read on LS that women giving birth were forced to wear muzzles.
That plus kids muzzled and experimented on with jabs.
WHY do people comply with all the s$$t dished out to us all the time? The jobsworths who enforce this sort of thing are evil beyond description. I would love to see some of them sued personally and clobbered with hefty damages.
It drives me up the wall too mary. It’s not so much on the phone with me, it’s face to face. It’s not just the muzzles either, though they definitely make it worse. People ‘gabble’ so often nowadays.
I think it must be a combination of them feeling constantly under pressure to do everything faster and also feeling that they are of no ‘value’. We have all been indoctrinated to feel that the individual has no value since the start of the Scamdemic and the masks reinforce that indoctrination. I.M.H.O. anyway.
Yet more wokery.
Travel between the UK and India should have been banned months ago but wasn’t due to this idiocy. (It was only banned on 26 April)
Plus all these third world countries with no vaccination program.
Still, it seems the anti-vaxers in the UK have most to worry about.
I hear they’re now rushing to get vaccinated. All so predictable.
Where did you hear the latter?
And you shouldn’t use the pejorative ‘anti-vaxxers’ for the thinking people who are anti-experimental gene therapy for healthy people, not against vaccines per se.
Phil O’Sophical I second your comment absolutely! I’m fed up to the back teeth with these 77th Brigade agitators! If they want to be jabbed then fine let them! If thr rest of us choose not to for whatever reason, that is our choice. We are not animals! We have the right to say what shall and what shall not be done with or to our bodies!
Rock on, Tommy! (Frederica).
I`ll just go on being a denier.
Just like “Desert Rats” a label I wear with pride
I’m anti experimental vaccine BUT I will be ok as I’m not of Indian origin, so no danger there!!!!
The NHS can’t be trusted with anything. ‘Spect you’ve seen the latest about the big data power grab of our GP records, we have till 23rd June to get our opt-out papers sent in. Is there no end to it all? Never known such mental pressures.
Thanks for that Chris. Perhaps needless to say no information from our GP. Government seems to have gained in confidence from the subservience to the lockdowns and failure of most to question its policies.
Chris we signed up long ago not to allow our details to be allowed out of the GP surgery into the wider NHS! Do we need to write again and reiterate?
Same here. Where can we find out more about this?
23 June? What’s that all about? First I’ve heard about it.
Clearly it is something that we / I need more info about.
I believe that deadline no longer applies but assume they will carry on regardless unless we say no and soon.
SAGE:
Meaning “wise, especially as a result of great experience” (Cambridge Dictionary)
Modelling is exactly that; not reality. Always a case of garbage in, garbage out. Add to that the likelihood of the data being massaged to suit the narrative and it is best ignored.
We were already being lied to on many fronts such as the global (none) warming issue; why should this be any different?
Are those advising us truly “sage” as defined above? I doubt it.
Jack after I read the article (link below) I was horrified! Sage? Wise? Sure they are wise…….but only on their own behalf. The rest of us can go to he!! for all they care! Money! Money! Money!

Gates needs to keep his nose out of the affairs of our government and others; hopefully he will upset the Russians…
See my comment at 12:13 for the link.
Oops! that was meant for Biscotte…
It might be too late for the SAGE communists to stop this Monday’s slight easing of restrictions , but it won’t last more than a week before “regional ” lockdowns are back on the aGENDA , the real target will be to prevent the June 21st. reopening .
Dick the BMGF was hot on Sage’s tail as soon as Boris Johnson let out the suggestion that muzzles would be out on 21/6/21! Pearly Gates is paying Sage’s bills it seems, so they must jump to his tune not to that of the British government!

I reckon that the G7 summit in Cornwall will go ahead 11-13 June then we will be back into the tiers system, lockdown by another name.
