“August Bank Holiday”
Dear readers of INDEPENDENCE Daily!
Today and tomorrow – Bank Holiday Monday – our duty editors and especially Debbie and I are going to take a much needed rest.
I hope you’ll understand that we really need this little respite.
Therefore, there won’t be the News Review, the ‘Daily Betrayal’ column nor any new articles.
The site is open for your comment posts but be aware that comment moderation will be very slow.
Enjoy this little break – we’ll see you again on Tuesday!
Warm regards from the editorial team,
Viv

Wow! Just have a look folks, at the Comments on John Redwoods Diary today. The second part of it on the collapse of the two main parties in the EU. It’s a real eye opener.
He is complacently sat there saying it wont happen here and of course it would be terrible if a new party could gain a foothold in power.
Comment after comment is challenging his analysis and threatening that if the present system does not reform worse might happen.
I don’t read John Redwood’s Diary but I do enjoy your occasional updates Pauline. I would be delighted to see the two-party system collapse in this country and hope that it comes sooner than later. Of course it would need another party to step up to the plate and I hope UKIP is preparing the ground as they are the only party with the infrastructure to organise this.
Lisa…….if only your synopsis of the UKIP infrastructure was correct. However it is shot to pieces. In my neck of the woods in Kent there were 18 branches at one time but now no more than five, and Kent was once a UKIP stronghold. However after the Batten/Robinson saga which followed the dire Bolton period, there were mass resignations of members and MEP’s, the creation of The Brexit Party, the closure of branches, and the dismissal of office staff at the Newton Abbot head office due to a severe lack of funds. However after several of being in the political wilderness, I am prepared to UKIP another chance. It has a decent leader in Neil Hamilton who is able to hold his own in a debate and has experience on his side. However it is my view that if the party is to re-invigorate itself it has to go down the road of re-branding, but this has been said before and it still hasn’t happened. All is not lost, well not yet anyway, as the other parties borne out of the demise of UKIP are also failing and there is a political vacuum to be filled as the not very conservative Conservative Party under dopey Johnson has taken up a position on the leftwing of the political landscape between the equally useless Liberal Democrats and the wacky Green Party.
Interesting comments Colin; we certainly need a true Brit party to oppose the incompetence of Johnson at one level and, more importantly, his selling us out to the interests of the globalists. I wonder if Neil Hamilton would be willing to provide details of his plan to resurrect UKIP and the resources needed to do so. When I left it seemed to be controlled by bunch of carpetbaggers…
It is controlled by a bunch of something worse than carpetbaggers. Suits the Tories; suits the Establishment: is betraying the British people
Colin Hussey @ 30/8 10.35pm, Thanks for the update.
Sorry Colin to agree and disagree, you are right about UKIP shot to pieces, but I am not for Hamilton, can’t stand the man, possibly his unctuous bearing, he might even have the gift of the gab, but he has’t got the personality to lead a revolution( Christine, his wife has and I’m sure she would be a better prospect).
In my opinion Batten was not the wrong man, only problem he allowed himself and UKIP to get tied up with Tommy Robinson who I believe engineered the whole business of his arrest etc so he could appear as a Matre and so in being able to put his case to the media, which he did on his first interview, drawing a note from his pocket and reading his reasons for “questioning” the position of Islam
It is not a hate crime to point out that incomers must obey our laws, must harmonise with, if not adopt the customs of the land to which they enter and settle ( maybe visit is a different thing), that particular incomers appear to treat their own womenfolk as second class (or slave class) citizens, have queer divorce laws, perhaps multiple wives and multiple progeny, have selected marriage partners and even death of transgressors is a consideration, never mind exclusion from family and friends.
The reason I am pointing this out here is that this question was entirely legitimate at the time of Batten’s election or offer of Interim Leader, nothing has changed and if UKIP is to provide a new Messiah to lead a revolution and eject the whole parliamentary regime, it’s attendant establishment and Civil Serpents then ALL issues have to be attacked.Including Global Rule, Global Warming scam,WHO, the UN, Pandemic Scam, Project 20 or 30, Marrakesh protocol or whatever on migration, the evils of diversity (as well as the necessities of diversity), the destruction of SAGE rule and neutralisation of NUDGE units.and remember ALL LIVES MATTER and history cannot be changed or obliterated to suit different successor factions
……….but overall this new UKIP or what rises from it’s ashes (nb NO NEC – well not present NEC)
Has got to have enterprise ambition, pazzaz to put the GREAT back into GREAT BRITAIN, to stop apologising and be virile and stand on its own two feet.
We are an independent nation BE IT!!!!!! (Even if in name only that must be addressed too)
Well said Roger. Perhaps you too remember those early months when Gerard took the helm and we were working on a real grassroots structure; I really enjoyed working with you and the rest of the SE team.
What a tragedy the Robinson bromance was! As you note, many loyal members left in droves, aided and abetted by Nigel setting up the Brexit Party. You’re also probably aware that a new type of member joined because of the Tommy link – the debacle with Richard drove them away too as well as many loyalists who had a deep affection for Gerard.
The ensuing fiasco had no attraction for either those who had gone over Tommy or those whose support for him was soft, or mainly for Gerard. It’s almost a year now since UKIP was converted into a dictatorship, with dissidents cancelled on a whim by the self styled permanent chairman. I don’t hold out any hope for that to change.
Helena was it that Waters woman who foisted Robinson on UKIP and Batten brought in the Veterans, supposed to be 16000 of them
Viv Debbie et al, I would hazard a Guess you have had very few breaks, in now, all the years you have been running this excellent, informative and necessary publication.
Hope you get a bit of peace for the couple of days you are off.
You truly deserve it
Best wishes Roger.
A bit late but I do hope you all have a good relaxing break.
Anyone else feel like talking about when the oil runs out?
I’m plowing my way through Vernon Coleman’s ‘A Bigger Problem than Climate Change’ The End of Oil.
He talks round and round the Mulberry Bush and in and out of fossil fuels in general and oil in particular, of course. It drives me up the wall. But some sense can be squeezed out of it all.
For example I’ve just done a quick search and Nuclear Powered Marine Transport is a very feasible alternative to diesel. So it is not true that we can not ship goods around the world without oil.
I’m already convinced that U.K. should be building and developing nuclear powered generating plants to keep our national Electricity Grid topped up so the lights don’t go off. I understand that Small Modular Reactors, S.M.R.’s are the coming ‘thing’.
Apparently France already produces far more electricity from nuclear than us. Germany, I believe relies heavily on oil from Russia!
One thing Vernon Coleman is rather good about – can’t help agreeing – Blooming Politicians are not fit to interfere in the economy and industry of a nation, since it affects the very survival of the people.
Trouble is, I’ve just read a bit where he seems to be advocating World Government! To be fair I think he has probably changed his mind since that bit was written.
He hasn’t mentioned E.V.’s. Probably not an issue when he first wrote about oil running out. Well E.V.’s are an alternative to I.C. vehicles but only if the national grid is topped up and some way devised to charge them overnight.
P.S. Ken Follett’s next book, due out November, is set in, or starts off, in the Sahara apparently. I’m thinking he might be investigating oil supplies or fossil fuels or even Earths reserves in general.
I remember reading that it is believed there is water available under that desert and possibly oil and other useful minerals.
Whatever the potential value of its resources a great deal of young Saharans of many nations aspire to a future in Europe. And Europes political elites regardless of their posturing to the contrary, may quietly do UNs bidding to accomodate the deluge.

I’m currently reading Endgame: The Hidden Agenda 21 by Vernon Coleman.which was published in March this year. He puts the current scamdemic into context of the overall plan to enslave humanity. It makes for very chilling reading.
Yes Fred Bloggs. I agree.
Apparently the nuclear industry is being kept out of Cop26. They are ‘barred from the IPCC and not even allowed to exhibit nearby’.
Now I do not fully understand the ins and outs of all this but it just strikes me that if there was any genuine belief that CO2 was damaging our climate then an alternative source of power that does not produce CO2 would be supported.
Therefor I conclude the whole Scam must have an ulterior motive like, for instance, Global Dictatorship.
I’m sure your last sentence is correct. I remember a sentence Conan Doyle wrote of Holmes: “When all probable cause has been discounted then that which remains, however improbable, must be the answer”. (or something like that.)
I am absolutely certain that Johnson has been acting under globalist control for some time. Those who attend COP26 are the enemy. Surely many cannot believe the scam but are making full use of it.
I can be relied upon to say the wrong thing, but.:–UKIP is going nowhere
Nor are any of the other small or large right wing competitors. In industry this would be the way to go, and it worked with Nigel at the front as it would with alternatives. in position. But in industry most have some idea of what they’re doing. And politicians by their nature tend not to.Theirs is a less real market. However that aproach of providing a competitor ( Market Leader ) will not work this time. The opposition ( Conservative HO ) has stacked the deck .So a line of attack needs to be a surprise, and big enough for one followed by a few dribbles. Afghanisten and Biden provided THE PERFECT OPPORTUNITY. A nose on yer face perfect opportunity, and nobody noticed.Starmer was transfixed in headlights and the rest followed closely. Has nobody on the right wing run a market domination campaign.. ?
Its childish primer stuff..
Any centre Right challenger poltical party has to have financial sponsors and the leaders have to be paid good wages in order to get a good performance from them and hold them to account. We have to find a solution to this problem first and foremost. Funding is key to launching a centre Right assualt on the establishment. Winning EU elections on a UKIP ticket was a piece of cake compared to winning national elections. Maybe Farage in his new media career is fully aware of this (tried 7 times to get to Westminster) and realises whipping up the centre Right on GB news is a far more secure way of paying his bills than actually leading a party in the hope of getting an MPs salary to pay his bills.
The Jackal, replied to the OSS who questioned his fee for assassinating De Gualle ‘Considering you expect to get France in return, I’d have thought it a reasonable price. If you can’t manage it, then there’s nothing more to be said’
How much are those who claim to be on the centre Right prepared to pay to get their country back?
T.G – whenever you get this, Debbie & Viv thoroughly deserving their break. You are right of course; the knaves in charge have done the Tory party’s bidding and screwed over UKIP. Why you ask? Because they cannot – ever- allow another party on the fiscal right, small c conservative etc to overtake them in popularity. The fate that befell the Whigs (Liberals), as Labour ascended the greasy pole, is ever there as a threat.
And round our way they have been pushed out at LA level but by Independents and Residents Groups.
Oil, shale oil, gas – only deluded, gaslighted fools would not use it and only shortsighted fools would not ensure the research was undertaken to find efficient alternative energy sources against the day it ran out, or that which was not under the control of hostile regimes ran out. Elsewhere of course they are using coal, not denouncing it as something demonic.
So where is the party in the UK which will challenge the lies that are being put out about the planet’s climate? Who will expose and call out the brainwashing of the populace with carefully crafted TV programmes, news items and the newspaper’s blind repetition of specious press releases? (Those shots of forest fires, probably started by arsonists, carefully inserted at just the right place) Where is the party that will explain just how hard all this ‘green crap’ is going to hit the pockets of those least able to afford it – at the insistence of those who can jet around the world in first class seats?
Now do you inderstand why the small c conservative, small state party with the most recognised branding could not be allowed to thrive and pick up those votes?
I appreciate your post and position Helena. It seems to me to be close to mine and most of the commentators. Whatever !
Your first para. Just because something has happened once or twice etc does not mean it’s true, that’s political thinking and a weakness, and it can serve warped ends. And can in fact be positive as it is a likely weakness.
Para 3. Independence and many similar just are against the status quo and therefore allies and supporters and there fore part of an available strength. And generally they are now wary and often dislike the options ( like me ) and is therefore purely a ‘top of the pile ‘ issue.
Oil, shale and gas etc. This para is a whole seperate issue, but closely linked to the Politico/big business, money,/daily change in ignorance
” Where is the party ? “para.
Every successful political party to be successful has to have a “Leader”. Someone everyone can follow. ( A focus, wisdom etc ) And that is what matters. Leaders characters can be ludicrous, wrong, dire, insane. ……..Irelevant Crazy but fact. He will be followed and mourned etc and legends will grow. But to last and grow and succeed, managers and organisation are needed and rare-er anywhere nearer the top pf politics. ( Which is why we have a civil service)
Finally Last para. Understood but not agreed with, and in fact a weekness.. But only as long as they do not realise it and counter. But it can change the dynamic And that’s another story
But all that is moving away from my comfort zone of numbers. But we need a leader or two, as long as he’s presentable, no history, and has no obscene habits. Just plonk him in ( or her ).
And finally and preferably never listen to what will be warped:. Particularly by big and Americannd firms on the trail of the almighty dollar, however indignantly declared to be unbiased( They are owned ).
Viv, Debbie,
I can think of few people who deserve a break more than you. Thank you, have a nice rest and then come back with all pens blazing.
JF
(The article you allowed TCW to copy has gone down a treat, lots of good discussion. They renamed it ‘The sensible speech on climate the PM will never make’)
Well done Julian. That was a good one.
I concur Julian and wish you all the very best on your break. I also agree with the article printed in TCW, thank you.
Read the article and discussion on TCW. Well done and most importantly, well said. Hope Doris has read it too!!!
Have a well-deserved break and thanks for your super coverage of events. There will soon be many more.
ditto from me on all the above comments.

Yep! As Pauline say’s, we all need something to keep us ‘sane’ Hope you had a good ‘mini-break’. I’ll be keeping it short, otherwise you’ll need extra time to read em all eh?
Regards. Graham Bolton.
Hi Pauline. I expect that Hector Again, or whatever the chap’s name is, will step up to the plate!
Is he a chap Ceri or is it A.I.?
Either way nothings pressed it’s send key so far!
