Hypocrites: the Westminster swamp dwellers who preach us not to be judgmental and for whom racism is the worst crime while refusing to even look at the problem ‘diversity’ has brought us. While the posh champagne socialists condemn Ms Braverman’s speech regarding illegal migrants they are weeping crocodile tears about a murdered schoolgirl. The stabbing of a 15 year old girl in Croydon yesterday is the main issue for the Westminster press this morning: “Newspaper headlines:Croydon stabbing and Tory donor ‘faces tax probe’.” (link).
Obviously, the paywalled broadsheets are too upmarket to give much space to this murder. You can instead read the report in the DM here. Neither this report nor the paywalled ones in the DT and The Times mention the ethnicity of the schoolboy. I suggest it’s not because they are ‘protecting’ children or because this is now a court case but because they are bending over backwards so as not to be accused of racism.
There’s even a sniff of ‘reverse racism’ in the one hint regarding the ethnicity of those involved in The Times’ careful expression regarding the murdered girl, described everywhere as heroine who tried to save her friend, as being “believed to be of Nigerian descent and from a Christian family” (link, paywalled). Meanwhile the DM quotes the father of Damilola Taylor who said that ‘society has broken down’ when a schoolboy can walk around with a knife, going to school in the morning (link).
I’m sorry, but this break-down of society is the poisoned fruit of decades of ‘diversity’ and race mongering according to which it’s racist to stop and search those who are suspect of carrying knives. Meanwhile, as Ms Vine bemoans the ‘gang culture’ and society at large as responsible for this latest crime (here, if you must), the DM helpfully points out that:
“More teenagers have been murdered in London this year than for the whole of 2022. The 15-year-old schoolgirl knifed to death yesterday became the 16th teenager to be murdered in the capital and the 13th to die from stab wounds. Last year, 14 teenagers were murdered in London. The schoolgirl is the third teenager to have died from knife injuries in the capital this month.” (link)
Correct me if I’m wrong but I cannot recall any reports in the national MSM about the other 15 teenagers killed in London this year. Is it because they were boys? Does Khan not care about those? Perhaps the Met police and police elsewhere are so scared of being accused of racism that they no longer do their job properly because ‘society’ is tying both their hands behind their backs? See this report in the DT about yet another Met Police officer faced with being sacked
“A Metropolitan Police firearms officer who shot dead a gangster eight years ago faces being sacked despite being cleared of any criminal wrongdoing, The Telegraph can reveal. The marksman, known as W80, shot dead 28-year-old Jermaine Baker in a police operation in December 2015 as Baker was preparing to spring two prisoners from Wood Green Crown Court, in north London. He was not charged in connection with the death, but now the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) is set to announce that W80 will face a gross misconduct hearing that could result in him being sacked.” (paywalled link)
Who wants to be a police officer under these circumstances! Why should we believe in the crocodile tears of Mr Khan, why should we wail about ‘our society’ with the likes of Ms Vine when their mealymouthedness or, in the case of Khan, their obsession with ULEZ rather than protecting London’s citizens, means that the police is left out to dry, twisting in the wind?
I leave you with a quote from the editorial by Trevor Phillips in today’s Times. It’s in regard to Ms Braverman’s speech and the ‘skin-deep outrage by liberals’, with ‘liberals’ meaning the ‘progressive left’ but applies equally to our ‘diverse’ society:
“As someone once said, if liberals insist that only fascists will enforce borders — and make integration a condition of citizenship — then voters will hire fascists to do the job liberals refuse to do.” (link, paywalled)
It goes without saying that ‘fascists’ are all who formerly were conservatives. For me, this quote also applies to the woke wilderness that is London and other big cities in the UK, where for years schoolboys knife each other without anyone daring to do anything about it because that would be racist. So disregard the crocodile tears from the usual suspects – race mongering and ‘diversity’ have consequences.
That’s all I have for today. Perhaps it’s time to ‘defund the police’ and ‘hire fascists’ to do their job and never mind creating scenes reminiscent of post WWI Germany, leading to the rise of a certain dictator … Have a good day.
The Guardian reports on a “landmark” study highlighting “systemic racism”. There is no mention of the Sewell Report which, recall, prompted fury for dispelling the myth of ‘systemic’ racism.
Significantly, the “landmark” study reported that 90% of young blacks said they expected to experience racial prejudice in the UK as adults. Expected to? No discussion in the article about how the left’s constant race grifting had created those expectations and how expectations then shape perceptions. Nor does the article discuss how most race based tension is between various ethnic minorities with whites being the least culpable.
Multiculturalism has failed. This has been officially known for years. Apparently, Angel Merkel no less said so in a 2010 speech followed by Cameron and Sarkozy in 2011 and most recently by Macon and as of this week, Braverman. The problem is that no-one has a clue what to do about it. The only person who thinks multiculturalism is a success is Jeremy Corbyn who tweeted that yesterday (even though his Islington constituency is the third most dangerous in London with a crime rate 23% higher than a London average).
Neither the report or the Guardian looked at how families with absent fathers, highest among Caribbean and Caribbean descended families, affect black youth.
The culture war on several fronts is very, very real and having lethal consequences. The left’s undermining of the ‘bourgeois’ nuclear family accompanied by its determination to prove systemic racism everywhere and denigrate the nations’ history and identity continues to bear fruit. It is he context behind a young man carrying a knife on the way to school and using it.
Multiculturalism: Part of the Marxists’ 4 stages of subversion of our once happy, well-functioning society: Demoralise. Destabilise. Crisis. Tyranny.
We’re at the final stages now.
And so well signposted Mary!
Viv – I knew you would write about this today and quite rightly so. I watched the first few hours of reports into the stabbing of this schoolgirl, outrage at first with live coverage and then suddenly, all reduced to a single sub paragraph. Of course there is something here that the Powers That Be don’t want you to know about.
I’ll tell you something, there is no reason for women to be threatened. Some year ago I discovered a great close combat instructor that had developed gross motor function fighting techniques and tailored them to women and very effective they were too.
A couple of years later I tried to find these instructional videos when I decided I wanted to teach women these techniques; they had disappeared and I couldn’t find them again. It’s not easy to teach this stuff, trying to teach a beginner something that has long ago become reflexive is not easy: it has taken me years to piece together what this gentleman once taught.
I’m getting to the point now where I’m ready to teach this stuff to women, I just need an invite or perhaps nobody will listen and women will continue to be raped and murdered in the streets. The later makes me sick because it is not necessary, this schoolgirl did not need to die.
Flyer I would welcome any advice, particularly geared to oldies like me
Well, this here oldie has advice for you: get yerself a nice, stout wooden walking stick. You recall the occasional reports where a granny beats off young muggers by beating them with her umbrella? A wooden walking stick is much better, and there are some easy handholds with which to make the stick into a proper weapon. The best thing is that the police cannot nick you for having ‘a weapon’ because, as an oldie, a walking stick is a necessary instrument to help with walking and to keep oneself out of A & E, to protect the sacred cow.
Mind: it’s gotta be a wooden walking stick, the fashionable aluminium ones might be a bit fragile …
A stout umbrella with a metal point is also effective. Whatever kind of stick you carry it needs to be used with swiftly with commitment. Hesitation in use could see you disarmed.
A can of hairspray can substitute for pepper spray and keys, gripped so as to protrude between fingers, can work as a knuckle duster.
Before any last resort move it is important to hold yourself confidently. Don’t cower or betray fear. Easier said than done I know but removing the sticker on your forehead that says ‘vulnerable victim’ can be significant.
Keys gripped so they protrude between fingers is very good – I’ve done just that when I had to walk back in the dark from the train station. Mind, I was a few decades younger then. And indeed, looking confident and not like a cowering mouse is also important. But this as well as the walking stock will only work against opportunistic criminals, not against serious professionals.
Oddly enough that isn’t my style and there is a school of thought that is different to this appearing confidence thing. If I’m confronted by an attacker, I’ll sometimes pretend to be scared and let him think that he’s in control.
The reason is simple, never get into this sparring thing that some people teach, particularly in the martial arts. When people are confident, they make mistakes, I’m not interested in getting into a fight, I just need to end it with one move and walk away.
Hairspray and keys, all good and lets not forget these metal nail files that women carry, you can stab or slash with those. ind you I don’t think I’d like to bump into Viv on a dark night if I were a mugger.
Many thanks Viv and SY, I’ll do that. I was also working on the idea one of those cute Bully Dogs to take everywhere, but his pricks and food would cost more than it costs to keep myself !
(They say dogs often look like their owners and one like that would certainly look like
me !).
Nah – not true that dogs and owners look alike! My beloved furry Princess was slim, elegant agile and had wonderful silky hair, sadly utterly unlike my not-so slim etc appearance. As of ‘agile’ … well, the less said the better …
🙂
