Obsessed with the third letter of the alphabet …
The weekend editions of our ‘Free Press’ demonstrate nicely their obsession with ‘C’. No, this aint the vitamin nor is it the Chief of MI5. It’s about their gleeful reporting on that ‘pillar of our society’ where the ‘C’ in question is added to two B’s. The other is the ‘C’ which has nearly destroyed our society not because of health implications but because of providing the perfect excuse for tyranny. Finally, there’s their Bête Noir whose last name starts with ‘C’. If the above is too enigmatic, let me explain: there’s Cummings, there’s Covid, and there’s of course the BBC.
Firstly and briefly: as far as I’m concerned we should let the MSM wallow in their BBC criticism. However, it’s the wrong criticism because it deflects from the true propaganda which AlBeeb has broadcast during the decades since ‘that’ interview. The side-show of which prince is more princely may agitate all those ‘royal’ correspondents in the MSM to their heart’s content – it’s of scant interest to us because in the end there’s nothing we can do about the fact that one of the princes is woke and the other woke-lite.
It’s futile to ask why all those intrepid authors and correspondents, royal or not, didn’t say a word about this deceitful interview. We know after all that most of them won’t’ bite the hand that feeds them, be it a ‘royal’ one or the more customary Whitehall one. If someone hasn’t grasped yet that all our MSM do not ‘speak truth to power’ but only ‘speak truth’ to us plebs, depending on the propaganda directives of the powerful, then so be it.
And so to that ‘C’ which has dominated our lives since 2020: covid. The Times has a report today which is clearly ‘fear porn’ and nothing else. It’s about the horror of a fungal infection which allegedly attacks recovering covid patients – in India. This is called ‘Black Fungus’ and the description is suitably sickening to put anybody off their breakfast.
The Times, after telling their readers in hideous detail what this fungus does, reports that doctors have to operate to remove this fungus, perhaps even removing one or both eyes because once the fungus gets into the brain people die. How appallingly scary! There are drug treatments but they are too expensive for those thus affected. Apparently all those Indian multi-billionaires have so far not stepped up and started charities to provide such treatment. Perhaps it’s because this ‘fugal epidemic’ isn’t as wide-spread as we’re made to believe?
We’re next given the usual ‘fear factor’, perpetuating the myth that this 2nd Indian covid wave is the worst ‘Indian disaster’ evah – never mind all the reports and statistics which refute this and which even The Times reporters should’ve known. The ‘fear factor’ is escalated by telling us that 60% of those patients being treated for the ‘black fungus’ need to be operated on. No, we’re not told the actual number, we’re not told 60% of what. However, there’s one very interesting snippet which slipped out uncensored:
“Patients who have recovered from Covid-19 are susceptible because the standard treatment for the virus is steroids, which can suppress the immune system.” (link, paywalled)
So there is a ‘standard treatment for covid’? Who knew! Haven’t we been taught that there’s nothing to be done about covid except cower at home until you’re really really sick and then go to A&E and be put into ICUs? Do our own clinicians use this treatment? Do GPs prescribe it? And won’t a suppressed immune system make getting that jab, well, a bit dangerous? Don’t expect any answers from our beloved covid MSM!
And so to the next report on ‘C’. You have to hand it to the DM – they’re on the ball when it’s about reporting on the very latest scientific ‘covid’ discoveries. Yes, there’s a new variant creeping about, with a new label:
“A new ‘triple mutant’ Covid variant with a ‘strange combination’ of genes is being probed by virologists in Yorkshire. So far, 49 cases of the new strain have been identified mainly in Yorkshire and the Humber but there is no evidence to show that it is more transmissible or resistant to vaccines, unlike the Indian variant which could be more transmissible. Public Health England are now looking into the spread of the mutation, which has been dubbed a ‘variant under investigation’.” (link)
49 cases? Strewth, that’s proper scary! Clearly, we’re being prepared for a ‘Yorkshire variant’, so far still labelled ‘variant under investigation’. While people are told not to be alarmed because so far it’s unknown if this ‘VUI’ is more infectious or more transmissible, here’s the threat:
“Ministers have insisted they won’t ‘hesitate to put in measures that we think are necessary to try and tackle the transmission of any variants’ and reassured the public that scientists are monitoring the latest strain.” (link)
The rest of that report is garnished with graphs which clearly indicate that all those warblings about VUIs and about ‘rising case numbers’ aren’t supported by numbers of deaths. If people are still frightened by simple ‘case numbers’, produced by more tests but not supported by numbers for hospitalisations or deaths then I’m no longer hopeful that this nation will shed the shackles of the covid fear imperium. I’m inclined to agree with Paul Joseph Watson who explains in his latest video that what we see and have seen is the creation and perpetuation of a new cult. Do watch that video!
And finally – the last ‘C’. We recall that our famous broadsheets have waged an incessant war against Dominic Cummings (DC). Now that he is going to appear on Wednesday the 26th before a HoC Joint Committee of MPs, The Times has published a clever piece aimed at muddying the waters. A pity the authors couldn’t make up their minds about whom to go for: BJ or DC! Thus they spread the muck evenly in the hope that something will stick.
The authors quote ‘friends and allies’ of DC who gleefully told them that DC will ‘napalm BJ’ by talking about the Cabinet decisions regarding the first and second lockdown. Oh – and DC is ‘out for revenge’:
“He wants revenge,” another friend said. “He thinks Boris is a clown who failed to learn the lessons of the first lockdown and even when we had all the data and knew what was going to happen he did nothing. He’s not going to stop. He’s not going to get bored. I don’t think he’ll stop until Boris is no longer prime minister.” (link, paywalled)
Oh let’s shudder in delicious anticipation! The Times, a.k.a. RemainCentral, has been trying to undermine BJ ever since he stepped into No 10 in a futile attempt to make Brexit not happen. Now it looks as if their own bête noir, DC, has become a valid ally when it’s about toppling the PM.
The whole article is full of unsubstantiated gossip, about what friends and allies of DC, BJ and indeed Matt-the-Han are said to have said. It heaves with ‘DC is expected to say’ when clearly nobody knows anything. Unsubstantiated gossip is all it is. I hope the Parliament TV channel is stocking up on bandwidth because one thing’s for certain: everybody in the least interested in covid, lockdowns and politics will watch the proceedings on Wednesday. I certainly shall.
It remains to be seen if in the end this doesn’t turn out to be a very damp squib, hyped up to perdition by the MSM ‘s obsession with ‘C’.
KBO!

… remember : for ‘ Cummings ‘ , always read “ Cummings/Wakefield “ in terms of strategic scheming and venom … oddly, a linkage not referred to too often …
Viv that was a splendid ‘allusory’ word puzzle you set for us in the first paragraph!
Personally I would love to think that the first of the ‘C’s followed by two BBs is finally going to get its come-uppance. But considering the fact that BJ and his slimy slippery cohorts needs the ‘Propaganda’ machine it represents I am not holding my breath!
COVID…..well as to that ‘C’…….la! La! La! -can’t hear you! Is my response to the machine now! I am just beginning my (what promises to be riveting read of Laura Dodsworth’s book) and I feel it is going to be a real ‘page-turner’.
Regarding the final ‘C’ ….all I can think of is that phrase…. “hell hath no fury”!! I know Cummings is male but I think the phrase holds good. I certainly hope for a firework filled denouement via the Commons Committee hearing!
Over on TCW, there is an, at best naive, article on Dan Hannan, triggered by one speech to the Lords. But agreement on one or two issues does not a friend make. I hadn’t the will to expound; others had done so. I simply upticked a line that echoed my thoughts. And lo, the previous upticker was none other than our esteemed proprietor here. Small thing, but strangely comforting to be in such good company.
Hannan looks very at home in the House of Remain with all the other multi-culturalists dreaming of global utopia.
Matt up North. I agree with you entirely. See my reply to Phil O Sophical
Phil O Sophical I have that earmarked for reading later. I have never had much time for Hannan. I believe he is a ‘here and thereian’. Runs with the hare and hunts with the hounds!
I believe he was a leader write for the Telegraph at some point. Nasty piece of work in my opinion. He detested UKIP and Farage, in the EU parliament, despite, you would think, having common cause. Clearly Nigel espoused the ‘wrong kind’ of Brexit. One of those like his friend Douglas Carswell – remember how that turned out (did they plan it?) – who may have coined the term nativist as a smear.
I went off Hannan when I discovered he had hatched the Tate Plot with Carswell and probably Reckless who now seems a bit clueless. It was called the ” Tate Plot” apparently because they used to meet in the Tate restaurant, where they could be pretty certain they would not be spotted! Words fail me. It seems the plot was to insinuate Carswell into UKIP as a wrecking ball to prevent Farage from leading the Brexit Campaign, leaving Vote Leave – who appear to have only wanted associate EU status – to scoop the pack. Well, it seems they succeeded. Johnson has delivered a half-baked Brexit, but la lucha continua!
Talking about Boris Johnson, I found this video today all about his plan to build a tunnel between Morocco and Gibraltar. Apparently this will enable trade between out two countries to replace some of the trade lost between us and the EU. When you think about it though, if we bring all of these goods to Gibraltar, we still have to transport them to the UK. By land we have to cross an increasingly hostile EU and we’ll be relying on their good will not to block this route. Otherwise we’ll have to fly or transport the goods by sea from Gibraltar, the tunnel will be a waste of time as then we may as well ship or fly these goods directly from Tangier.
Could it be that the reason for this tunnel it to – despite us supposedly leaving the EU – further the EU or globalist goal of turning Europe and Britain into an extension of Africa. What’s the betting that any trade deal with Morocco will include free movement of people that will mean a one way migration to Britain.
“Why UK And Morocco Plan To Build A $9.4 BN Undersea Tunnel To Link Africa To Europe”

What do you think?
Flyer. What I think? Well I can believe it. Nothing shocks me anymore. Don’t suppose I could use the tunnel to go the other way, for a better life?
The people of Britain who voted for the Tories can hardly complain of any mischief they get up to.
That’s why UKIP will continue to exist.
Jake Bennett ;
Not guilty m’lord !
Flyer quite apart from anything else I think Boris Johnson is barking mad! He has long been obsessed with the huge vanity projects like the airport in the estuary HS2 and tunnels to everywhere up to and including Timbuktu! I think he is a fully brainwashed member of the ‘Global NWO’ I suspect he has been through the ‘Ipcress File’ treatment! He dutifully responds to the multi-$bn ‘brain suggestion stimuli’ put out at intervals by his global minders! I am sure the NWO mob would like to have tunnels leading everywhere so that they can ‘traffic’ anything and everything (including slaves!!) across the World at will.
Boris Johnson is barking mad! Yes Frederica that was my reaction to his latest tunnel idea.
Are you serious about Johnson wanting to build this damn tunnel? We all know what that would be used for if it were built, and it would have little to do with trade. Come on, I mean who in their right mind treats Boris Johnson with any due seriousness. In my opinion he is nothing more than a court jester, who happens to live in Downing Street. The local election results were not so much down to he and the Conservatives having the best policies, but that the Labour Party and its leader were and continue to be so dire. The Conservatives fall down on so many serious issues, like the ever burgeoning English Channel migrant crisis, the failed Northern Ireland protocol, the utter farce surrounding fishing and our territorial waters, and the fudged EU Trade Deal, wanting to relax planning controls to enable to developers to build wherever they like, amongst others. Boris Johnson, who when he was London Mayor wanted to build an airport in the Thames Estuary near to where there Oil refineries, on top of designated water fowl reserves, and the small matter of the SS Richard Montgomery split in two and resting on the estuary bed since 1944 which contains enough explosives to take out a parts of Kent and Essex and would probably cause a catastrophic tsunami which would flood large parts of London. If it were a choice between Boris Johnson’s philosophy or the Beano, the Beano would win hands down.
What a crazy idea but par for the course from the enemy in Number 10. Surely there is much that demands attention at home?
