Congratulations to Larry the Chief Mouser on his Jubilee! Here he shows what he really thinks of BJ …

Whenever I need a jolt to get me going in the morning I can always rely on the content in our MSM. I don’t mean just the headlines – although it’s vaguely entertaining to see the editors falling over themselves to get that Sussex pair onto their front pages to create some non-covid ‘news’. I mean the little snippets inside the reports which one finds when delving into the covid morass. Interestingly, even though the MSM all copy from each other, even as they report from the same BJ press conference, the significance of a certain remark seems to’ve gone well over the pretty little heads of the reporters and authors.

It’s not about the goalpost-shifting of BJ – well, we didn’t really expect that he wouldn’t, did we! It’s again about how we’re being ruled and who does the ruling. So without further ado, here’s what had me bounce off the walls first thing this morning:

“Prof Chris Whitty, the chief medical officer, said clear evidence that Covid vaccines are driving down death rates may only be made public “in the next few weeks”.” (paywalled link)

Yes, dear fellow plebs: the Covid Politburo has the numbers but won’t tell us because “we” might then have cause to question this latest lockdown diktat, that restrictions would be eased ‘gently and very very slowly’. Mind you, one wonders if this’ll happen at all when one finds reports from yet another colleague of the arch modeller Ferguson who happens to have a new model which shows that ‘deaths will rise in summer’ if lockdowns are eased in July (!), despite mass vaccination (link).

Back to Whitty’s sentence. Clearly, even though the Covid Politburo has slavishly followed the SAGEs demands, robbing us of our liberties, it’ll never be sufficient because the covid tyrants will never loosen their grip on our throats. It’s simple: they’ll only give out the ‘numbers’, be they ‘infections’, ‘cases’, ‘hospital admissions’ or ‘covid deaths’ if and when it suits the SAGEs and the lockdownians so they can keep us under permanent restraint.

There will never be a good reason to let go of their stranglehold. If it’s not new models, it surely will be a ‘new mutant’ of which nobody knows anything but which is bound to be ‘more deadly’ when it suits the SAGEs. The assumption certainly doesn’t seem too far-fetched now, namely that the secret goal of the Covid Politburo is to have our country under a permanent lockdown cosh like they do in NZ and AUS. The PM, so very adept at giving with one hand while taking away with the other, did tell the Nation that he wants this lockdown to be ‘the last’ and that’s why he’ll be so very, very cautious in easing it, in case there’ll be ‘a resurgence’ in October (e.g. link).

The really strange thing though is that Whitty & Co, that BJ, aren’t trumpeting the numbers from the rooftops to show that ‘vaccines work’, in order to get more people flocking to the vaccine hubs. For some strange reason only The Times is dipping a careful editorial toe into this mud pool:

“Vaccination is already reducing hospital admissions, deaths and transmission of the coronavirus in Britain, according to “encouraging” early data, The Times understands.” (link, paywalled)

If that is the case and if the SAGES who pull the PM’s strings know this, then why aren’t we told why, even so, the Covid Politburo and the PM are still incapable of giving a ‘roadmap out of lockdown’? He promised to do so on the 22nd of this month, after all, but has shifted that particular goalpost to ‘sometime later’ during next week:

“Johnson urged the public to be “optimistic but patient” before the publication next week of his roadmap for easing lockdown restrictions. He added that the government was waiting for “hard facts” before any loosening of the rules.” (link, paywalled)

Does this mean that even the PM hasn’t been given ‘hard facts’? Are Whitty et al are keeping these hidden not just from us but even from the PM? Do we need more evidence that it’s the SAGEs who rule, not our elected PM? Perhaps BJ is trying to stave off another fight with his MPs – see this:

“He said “the data becomes clearer with every day that passes”, as he emphasised that the plan could not be finalised until Monday. Ministers have already been given data showing that vaccination is cutting illness by about two thirds.” (link, paywalled)

We can assume that someone attached to those ministers who’ve’ received these data has leaked to The Times where we read:

“Now preliminary figures comparing elderly people who have received the vaccine with those who have not are starting to show that it is cutting hospital admissions and deaths.” (link, paywalled)

Why then isn’t the covid government shouting this from the rooftops? Do they not want the younger age groups to flock to the vaccine hubs now? Weren’t those vaccines going to be the ‘key’, to allow us out? Isn’t that why ‘we all must have jabs’?

There’s one other question to which we all deserve an answer. Why are the ‘Tory rebels’ on the backbenches who are so vociferous in demanding that ‘roadmap out of lockdown’ not demanding, loud and clear, that Parliament must return, no lockdown shenanigans, ‘zoom’ sessions and the rest?

I’m sure we’d all applaud if the whole lot of those peacocks, in the HoC as well as the HoL, were permitted to jump the jab queue and get their jab so that they can resume their duty! Surely they cannot be frit of that jab which everybody else must have? Surely they’ll be the very first to get that app for their smartphone which will allow them to resume going to theatres and posh restaurants as BJ proposed (paywalled link)! After all, aren’t they supposed to provide us with shining examples for proper behaviour?

There’s one last aspect to the Whitty remark. We remember that the SAGEs aren’t just a handful of virologists and epidemiologists but that one of the drivers of this mess are the behaviourists of that ‘Nudge Unit’. Their ‘nudges’ have fallen on fertile grounds inside the covid MSM and the WFHers. Just look at this headline, for a – thankfully paywalled – opinion piece in the DT: “It’s not stamping on your rights to bring in a vaccine passport – it’s trying to save them” (paywalled link).

The author demonstrates how well the ‘nudge tactic’ of that unit has worked by arguing that “we”, after all, have ‘accepted’ speed restrictions and metal detectors at airports. Just look at convoluted, virtue-signalling argument where she refers to a remark by the LBC presenter Maajid Nawaz, namely that:

“[…] the national debate about vaccine passports could be boiled down to a pithy one-liner: it’s about “not stamping on individual rights in the name of group rights”. Effectively forcing us to get the vaccine “doesn’t sit right with me”, he said. But there’s a word for that overarching social sacrifice, isn’t there? More than one, in fact: selflessness, altruism, humanitarianism, social conscience, public spirit… take your pick. So Nawaz’s sentence could baldly be rephrased: “We shouldn’t be stopped from privileging ourselves over others.” (paywalled link)

Lovely, isn’t it, how she – for it is a ‘she’ – uses the shame-word ‘privileged’ without saying who those ‘others’ are. We’ve heard this wail about ‘selflessness’ ever since lockdown started and even louder since the muzzle-wearing controversy broke out. I wonder what she will say when her and our enforced, oh-so noble self-sacrifice avails us nothing, when lockdown will continue because the goalposts are shifted again and again, when even her precious jab passport won’t permit her to fly to foreign beaches for that ‘summer holiday’ because of ‘moar red zones’.

While mentioning in passing that Guy Verhofstadt is actually alive and kicking, entertaining us with laying into Ms vdLeyen in no uncertain terms (link), I leave you with news of a fine jubilee. The Chief Mouser is celebrating his ten-year tenancy at No 10.

I think we’d do so much better if the current occupant of those august premises were to listen to Larry rather than Carrie. Larry has had definite opinions about the last PM. Allegedly he peed in Ms May’s office and has once puked next to her leopard-print shoes. Applause for Larry the Chief Mouser for his impeccable instincts! I wonder if he’s treated the SAGEs to similar displays of displeasure … not that we’d be told. That would come under ‘hard data’, and these are not for us peasants.

KBO!
