There are ‘experts’ wherever one looks, like grains of sand on a beach, and all have their ‘opinion’ about covid and Omicron. They are generally scientifically illiterate but are given platforms in the MSM, above or below the line, in articles, reports and comment posts. Their utterances in this morning’s MSM are propaganda for jabbings, plain and simple.
We had the Arch-of-Cant yesterday who abused his pulpit to tell his ever-dwindling flock that getting the jab is an act of love and thus Jesus wants it. It’s strange that the usual outcry of atheists and agnostics, that ‘god-botherers’ must stop stuffing religion down our throats, has been unusually subdued.
Will Welby now call for fire and brimstone to rain down on the heretics, the Pentecostal pastors in Brixton who preach that God protects them and who therefore are not jabbed? Ah – difficult, that one: the flock of those pastors is “of African or West Indian descent, reflecting a large portion of Brixton’s population since the Windrush Generation started arriving more than 70 years ago.” (link).
So now what? Should “we” follow yon Archbish – or yon pastors who trust in God? Let me just observe that the ‘vox pop’, speaking to the DM about their worry regarding this Brixton attitude to jabs, are both ‘white wimmin’ …
Then we have Tony B. who called ‘anti-vaxxers idiots’ and ‘beyond irresponsible’ (link, paywalled). He’s clearly another ‘expert. His remarks also didn’t inflame public opinion, to the contrary. The comment posters in The Times praise him to the hilt. I wonder if they’d have been so supportive if he’d said that jabs are actually only profiting Big Pharma. Surely, as Labour politician, he ought to be standing up against super-capitalists, correct? Still, he duly apologised for his remarks (link), so he’s forgiven by that crowd.
Next we have an article in The Times, written by the “vice-dean of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine”. She clearly is a proper expert. Describing her harrowing work in ICU, she appeals to readers to get jabbed and to consider how best to keep yourself and your loved ones safe over the holidays – translated that means: ‘self-isolate, you uneducated yobs’ (link, paywalled).
The wonderful thing is that, as we surely remember, no NHS frontline and other staff is permitted to speak to the MSM by pain of losing their jobs. So what’s going on here? Will we hear from another ICU doctor about how there aren’t that many covid patients being treated in ICUs? Will we heck! Will we hear any Hospital doctor report from his ward about patients catching covid in hospital, as the DM reported yesterday? Will we heck!
It’s about getting the vaccines stockpiled by this government into as many arms as possible before the ‘covid pills’ become available next year. Yes, “we” have stockpiled them already, just in case (link, paywalled). That’s why Javid is thinking about starting a campaign for a fourth booster early next year (link). The JCVI is considering it while calling for more data, but the Israelis are already doing it (paywalled link) and they’re very scientific, innit!
Meanwhile, “we” must be very afraid of Omicron and covid – after all, another 301 Londoners were in hospital ‘with covid’ (link). There are nice scare graphs in that DM report, even though the reporters acknowledge that these numbers are lower than in January and that medical – proper! – experts believe Omicron is indeed milder than Delta.
However, A &E departments will become overwhelmed fersure because ‘staff is forced to self-isolate’ after having tested +ve, e.g. in the West Midlands (link). Mind you, that is due because they went to a staff Christmas Party. These staff shortages are also found in NHS Trusts in London (link). Were they really all unjabbed and untested? Hm …
It seems that these staff shortages are due to all those +ve tests. Remember that testing is the ‘new normal’ equivalent to brushing teeth and checking your blood pressure. Remember that “we” have run out of free Lateral Flow tests. Remember that the prescribed run of 40+ amplification cycles which proper experts criticise for delivering +ve results from dead, minuscule pieces of virus incapable of infecting anyone.
Still, even though testing the asymptomatic has no clinical relevance, test we must because we must search diligently so that the ‘experts’ can ‘find’:
“Daily case numbers have passed 100,000 but we still have not seen the exponential growth expected if Omicron infections were doubling every two days, as suggested by Sage last week. Some scientists believe this is because we have reached the limits of our testing capacity.” (link, paywalled)
Could it be any plainer: we need ‘moar testing’ to prove that SAGE’s dire projections are correct! We need ‘moar tests’ because it’s inconceivable that Omicron could have ‘plateaued’ all by itself. It’s inconceivable that the SA equivalent of SAGE could be correct when they recommend stopping the testing and quarantining of people who are not ill.
Instead of asking if the reason for the levelling-off of Omicron might be due to its mildness, the professors believe it’s due to the number of daily tests being ‘static’, even though “The average number of PCR tests, according to a seven-day rolling average, is the highest it has ever been at 572,000 and is up 14.5 per cent in a week.” (link, paywalled).
The fact that lab staff are also self isolating is given a nod but doesn’t seem to be relevant for the wail that only 70% of testing capacity is being used which is ‘closer to the maximum than at any other point since October last year. So why are we not at full capacity?” (link, paywalled). Why indeed! Are lab staff not permitted to go on their Christmas break? Or might they have caught the ‘pingitis’ which we remember from earlier this year?
This all smacks of a desperate attempt by the SAGEs and their willing helpers to create a huge ‘Omicron surge’, not only to scare people to get ‘moar boosters’ but also to force Johnson to follow the Celtic Fringe tinpot dictators into locking everything down from Boxing Day onwards. Meanwhile the Nation, unimpressed, is on their annual pilgrimage, by air, rail and car, to see their loved ones or go on holidays, creating the usual Christmas traffic chaos (link)
I leave you with a report in the Daily Sceptic (link). It is based on numbers from the ONS. They’re not exactly irresponsible idiots, are they. The author, Dr Will Jones, is extremely cautious in interpreting these result before writing:
“It does mean, though, that the current Omicron outbreak is largely an epidemic of the vaccinated and is being driven, not by the unvaccinated, but by those who have been double and triple jabbed. Combined with the fact that Omicron has quickly grown to be the majority of new infections, it suggests the vaccinated are playing an outsize role in the current outbreak.” (link)
Stick that in yer pipes, Archbish, Tony B., SAGE and all you other vax promoters in the covid empire! And what now about ‘vax apartheid’? Perhaps it’s not such a good idea after all, is it!
And now they are talking of a second booster vaccination early in the New Year because the booster injection is only good for 10 weeks. I’m fed up with this bloody nonsense, its getting beyond a joke now. Just how long are the government and its ruddy so called charlatan experts going to stretch this out. We’re even told today that symptoms could be a sore throat, headache and a runny nose and that half of colds could in fact be Covid. Well I am sure not going to run anywhere and get a test if I suffer from any of those symptoms……… The whole thing is based on Could, Could, Could………..
Getting beyond a joke Colin? It’s an OUTRAGE.
Evil deed, followed by evil deed, followed by . .. . .
Well a bit of good news here. Early this morning, Xmas Eve, I was awake enough to ring the medical centre.
Ignored the message urging me to only bother them if it was a matter of ‘urgent care’.
Straight through to the dreaded receptionist. Negotiated the receptionist’s checklist. (More about ‘Urgent Care’.)
GOT A PHONE CONSULTATION!
When GP rang, first talked re inhaler that I WOULD be willing to go back to and use for my C.O.P.D. – Yes all right will be delivered on Thurs. next.
Then I actually succeeded in getting full strength aspirin (not soluble) back on my repeat prescription!
Santa Claus does exist but he has so many clients nowadays he has to space deliveries out over a week!
Pauline………its good to hear some good news as to your own personal predicament, but I am surprised that your doctors surgery didn’t try to say that your COPD symptoms are now Covid symptoms as well and that you should run along to a chemist and test yourself everyday. Lets hope that 2022 is not going to be quite so bad as 2021 and 2020 and that dopey Boris, the man who hasn’t got an ounce of original thought in his bonce, is served his dismissal notice in the form of 54 no confidence letters. Here’s hoping…….
Today, Thurs 23/12 I have received 3 days or J.R.’s Diary. They are for 19th. 20th. and 21st. Dec.
He has criticised:- the Health Secretary, for his pushing for more lockdowns.
Criticised ‘Experts’ for peddling project fear. He wants realistic forecasts and better cleaning and air extraction in public spaces. In general he wants it up to the individual to decide what the risks are and which to take.
He criticises the Treasury for N.I. hikes and it’s continuing E.U. style, austerity measures. He wants continuing help for businesses needing social contact. He still wants VAT taken off domestic heating and he wants far more use of Gas in our energy mix. In fact he is criticising the whole carbon neutral rubbish, saying we need to increase gas reserves until nuclear can be increased. We are importing too much of our energy supplies.
He wants Treasury to work with Environment to grow more of our own Food, instead of importing.
In fact the only failure of the Government that he has NOT criticised is Immigration.
Or is he criticising the Civil Servants rather than Bojo and his Ministers? I think both but the present leadership has to take the blame.
Interesting. Fingers crossed the fat idiot might get unseated soon.
JR talents are wasted – he would have made a good actor. Failing that he could have a useful career in PR.
No he’s not that bad Jake.
Can’t really blame him for not leaving the Con Party at his age.
You must admit that he is willing and able, to oppose ‘The Party’ on it’s worst faults.
He wrote recently on Conservative Home as well as his own diary and other outlets for his opinions.
I suspect that if the M.P.s do not topple B.J. soon, it will be because they are worried just who might take his place. The Party Membership have the final say and they might choose the worst candidate left in the final round, after the M.P.s have honed the list.
John Redwood is as much a career politician as the rest of them. I was often asked by Conservatives when I was a UKIP member, activist, branch chairman and election candidate ‘why are you involved with a party that will never gain office, the only way of progressing your point of view is to become a member of the Conservative Party and get elected as a councilor’. To a degree there is indeed logic to that argument, but if you possess strong political views as I do, principles comes into it as well, as I could never be a Conservative and have everything done for me, and told what to say and do. However I’ve never been elected as a UKIP or an Independent candidate, so why would John Redwood leave the Conservative Party no matter how much he may disagree with its policies and leaders. He could have easily done a Reckless or Carswell and defected to UKIP, but that would have put his long term political career at risk as it did with Mark Reckless and Douglas Carswell who were eventually voted out. I really wanted Carswell to stand as party leader when Farage stepped down after the referendum. He wasn’t that popular with some, but he was no fool. And if he had of done, UKIP perhaps wouldn’t be in such a mess as it turned out to be, and we wouldn’t have had the Henry Bolton farce.
We are all different aren’t we Colin Hussey. I can empathise with what you are saying there about being told what to say and what to do.
Wasn’t that the good thing about Ukip, back in the day?
Personally, I could not stand being a Civil Servant at either central government or local government level for similar reasons. I certainly could not have been a politician. I am sure at some point they must all have to swallow their principles.
Also, no way could I ever go back to living or working, anywhere near, the area within the M25. There was one Ukip P.P.C. I talked with who had thought very deeply about that and was determined to make that sacrifice because his commitment to Brexit was so strong. Can’t remember his name and don’t think I’ve ever heard of him again.
Naaa can’t agree about the acting bit Jake,, remember his efforts to mime the Welsh National Anthem when he was Welsh secretary
Or maybe not. Perhaps the plan is to give Bojo plenty of advice instead.
Interesting News today
Sir John Redwood

Maggie Throup:
The following therapeutics are available to patients hospitalised with COVID-19 and in the community setting:
– Dexamethasone;
– Tocilizumab;
– Ronapreve; and
– Sotrovimab.
The following antivirals are available to patients in both hospital and community settings:
– Remdesivir;
– Molnupiravir; and
– PF-07321332
The answer was submitted on 23 Dec 2021 at 10:47.
A side step reply to Sir Johns question. What of the ‘non hospitalised’?
In any event there is enough for us plebs to research and to review how the MHRA went about ‘authorising’ these drugs.
For those readers who are wondering why HCQ and IVM is not on the list I would recommend the first 15-20 pages of Robert F Kennedy’s book ” The Real Anthony Fauci: Bill Gates, Big Pharma, and the Global War on Democracy and Public Health” £2.99 as an ebook from Amazon(hold your nose when ordering)
RFK Jr mentions the UK Recovery Trial where huge doses of HCQ were administered to seriously ill patients with predictable morbid consequences.
Remdesivir was used in a trial for the treatment of Ebola. It was withdrawn during the trial as it was killing people.
Get the book and read it. £2.99 and all profits go to Childrens Health Defence.
Ever wondered what PF-07321332 is? It’s all over the MSM innit?
read moer (sic) here;
https://www.sps.nhs.uk/medicines/pf-07321332/
eg
Dec 21 · EMA’s CHMP advises on emergency use of Paxlovid for the treatment of COVID-19. Treatment can be considered for adults with COVID-19 who do not require supplemental oxygen and who are at increased risk of progressing to severe disease, starting as soon as possible after diagnosis of COVID-19 and within 5 days of the start of symptoms . The two active substances (PF-07321332 and ritonavir), which are available as separate tablets, should be taken together twice a day for 5 days [5].
Dec 21 · US FDA approves emergency use of paxlovid as an at-home treatment for mild-to-moderate COVID-19 in high-risk patients aged 12 and over who weigh at least 40kg [6].
Wonder what the MHRA review entailed?
= It’s by Pfizer = Approved EUA
Merry Christmas
Why,? Why so blatant..? Why this desperate urge for 100 %. This morning ALL the BBC news was Covid.. You might have got a mention as an axe murderer of children There is really something really fishy
TG Spokes………for a minute I thought you meant that 100% of BBC news staff had got Covid 19 and had gone off air. What a great day that would be if it were the case. A totally crap free day. Quite why they are angling for a indeterminate lockdown is beyond me, but I would have thought the reason why they want this is because Jeremy Corbyn failed to become prime minister in December 2019, so their best chance of being sent down the Far Left/Communist route went out of the window. Accepting that Johnson is an utter clown and not worthy of the title of prime minister for different reasons that the leftie BBC journalists allude to, they want everything closed down so that the country’s economy goes down the pan, millions of people lose their jobs, which in their warped eyes might pre-empt a radical left takeover. Defund the BBC, and get rid of as soon as possible…..
We have ‘cases’, diagnosed via a PCR test that is hopelessly flawed to begin with, being labelled ‘infections’. Sky eagerly screaming that we have passed 100,000 infections for the first time; whilst the BBC drops its daily hospitalisation stats because they are too low, and counter the narrative.
It’s all so transparent for those who want to see.
We have folk who got ill or died or were hospitalised within the first 14 days of a jab, exactly the period when most of the initial – what I call first phase – complications occur, being classed as unjabbed. Suddenly all those poor people are lumped in to the ‘unjabbed’, massively distorting the statistics in favour of the narrative.
Now this. A short while ago it was satire, or at best said as a wry projection to make a point; it’s hard to keep up: Double Jabbed a Threat to the Triple Jabbed.
https://nofrakkingconsensus.com/2021/12/20/vaccine-absurdity-double-jabbed-a-threat-to-the-triple-jabbed/
How can no one see that this, like the apparently virtuous vaxxed (and they must believe protected) scared of the unjabbed, is proof that the jabs do exactly what the ‘conspiracy theorists’ said, which is absolutely nothing* except diminish the symptoms.
*notwithstanding the longer term nasties.
May I digress, well what did I tell you all; I just had a White Rose bulletin including a Hugo Talks video saying that the photos of huge queues for the booster were fake. GB News apparently had peddled this fake story too. More later.
To Archdevil Welby; fire and brimstone here I come !!!!!!!!!! If Heaven is full of people like Welby and muzzled virtue signallers I sure don’t want to go there !!!!!!
Funny you should say that mary. Many, many years ago I joked, well sitting on a cloud playing a harp, sounds a bit cold, damp and boring to me. Hell would be warmer and maybe more interesting.
But it’s not funny is it. To make a more serious point – I find it difficult to understand how there can be ‘a heaven’ because everybody’s idea of what it is like, must be very different.
So many unanswered and maybe unanswerable questions, in the theist versus atheist debate.
I’ll send Welby to hell and have you in my heaven I think !!
We’ll all find out the truth one day!
