This squirrel has a name: “Dominic Raab”
I was shocked to the core when I saw the worst possible news on the front page of the Guardian this morning. I came across it while I was checking out the guff our MSM promote as ‘news’ in the usual place (link). Imagine my horror: the Welsh Rugby union has banned the singing of ‘Delilah’ in the Millennium Stadium, right at the start of the Six Nations! Here’s the report in the local rag. Why don’t they ban playing rugby altogether, for being too much of a celebration of ‘toxic masculinity’?
Staying with said toxic masculinity and with ‘diversity’, there are reports on the RAF’s misdeeds. This issue has been simmering since August last year but it’s now ‘news’ again because the Air Chief Marshal was being questioned by the HoC Special Committee. The DM’s report is straightforward:
“The Royal Air Force broke employment law when it attempted to favour female and ethnic minority candidates over white men, an official report is expected to conclude. The order to prioritise their job applications led to the resignation of the officer expected to implement the policy, Group Captain Lizzie Nicholl. She refused to comply with the directive as she believed it was unlawful, a view shared by the RAF’s legal department.” (link)
Next, there’s a transparent attempt at deflection in the DT’s article, quoting Tobias Ellwood MP and ‘sources’, injecting the issue of ‘toxic masculinity’ into the debate (this and the following emphases are all mine):
“Tobias Ellwood, chairman of the defence select committee, told MPs that the RAF’s former head of recruitment had identified the cases before she resigned in protest. After the revelation, Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston, head of the force, was asked if he had presided over a “lack of integrity at the top of the RAF”. It comes as the Armed Forces struggle to retain female personnel amid a sex harassment crisis engulfing the military. On Wednesday, defence sources suggested to The Telegraph that Sir Mike, who authored the 2019 Wigston review into inappropriate behaviour of troops, should be considering his position.” (paywalled link)
Yeah, sure: ‘off with his head’ – the favourite solution by ‘sources’ within Whitehall and Westminster. This article goes on to mention ‘investigations’ into “rape culture’ both in the Royal Navy and Sandhurst, then coming up with this gem:
“Despite the demands on the military to improve diversity, the Forces have also faced claims that female recruits are not equipped with properly fitting kit. A report last year found that female soldiers were often subjected to “ill-fitting” kit across all three services, such as rucksacks that were too big, which can also increase the risk of injury.” (paywalled link)
Omigawd! I’m shocked! The poor things! I was even more shocked when I read the report The Times published on the RAF. Instead of looking at the ‘diversity scandal’, they came up with this deflection:
“Women in the RAF cannot fly F-35 Lightning jets because the helmets provided are too heavy, Air Chief Marshal Sir Mike Wigston has admitted. Wigston told MPs that the RAF had not approved a lighter helmet because of safety fears. He said a more pressing concern was that women were not being trained as pilots, pointing to a “woeful gender diversity” problem in the RAF. Tobias Ellwood, who chairs the Commons defence committee , said: “There needs to be a second lighter helmet for females to use.” (link, paywalled)
This is their report on the HoC Select Committee hearing! Not one word about the true scandal of the ‘diversity’ drive excluding capable male pilots. I mention in passing that the authors of the articles in the DT and The Times are both female. Meow. Far be in from me to suggest that this is why we’re informed about ‘female kit’ and ‘lighter helmets’ instead of the RAF discriminating against male pilots.
And then there’s Dominic Raab. This was the main subject of yesterday’s PMQs. Clearly, the Uniparties in the HoC are now also in the business of pointing at squirrels. Still, some astonishing pieces of information are surfacing, see e.g. The Times:
“As officials made further claims of poor behaviour from the deputy prime minister, his allies launched a fightback, suggesting that civil servants were trying to force him out. The investigation into Raab is now understood to be focusing on whether he knew the effect his behaviour was having on staff, a judgment [sic!] that could be crucial to the justice secretary’s political future.” (link, paywalled)
It’s coming to something when even The Times, in ever so veiled language, admits that civil serpents are behind this anti-Raab campaign. The DM’s report is actually to the point:
“[…] a Whitehall source said that at least two senior officials have given evidence to an inquiry into the alleged conduct supporting Mr Raab, with one claiming he is the victim of a ‘disgraceful’ campaign of character assassination. […] A former colleague said: ‘There is a clear attempt by a group of politically motivated mandarins to get him – it looks like a co-ordinated attempt by a number of senior civil servants.’ (link)
Yes, I know: we’re in ‘sources will source’ country, but when did our esteemed MSM ever leave it! Far more important is the fact that the HoC and the MSM are wasting precious gossiping time and space on this issue when there are far more pressing ones. It deflects from questions about the economy but who cares about that when Westminster and Whitehall are hell-bent on getting Starmer into No 10 by all and any means.
Moreover, it seems to me that this campaign is about getting the Rejoiners into business. The Westminster swamp dwellers and the mandarins are feverishly at it. There was Verhofstadt on LBC, and now, like the rise of the undead, there’s M Barnier. He spoke to the DT’s inveterate Remainer Mr Crisp. The headline for this piece is sufficient, we don’t need to read the whole thing because it’s what Barnier and Remain have been saying during all the years wasted in ‘negotiations’ since our vote nearly seven years ago:
“UK can rejoin EU ‘any time’, says Michel Barnier – Former Brexit negotiator warns that diverging too far from EU rules will make it more difficult for Britain to go back into bloc” (paywalled link)
Might one ask if the anti-Raab campaign might possibly have something to do with his still fruitless attempts to get us out of the clutches of the ECHR, attempts which might have been sabotaged by his mandarins?
Still, it’s a nice squirrel for us to gawp at, just as the RAF ‘diversity’ issue deflects from the dire straits our Armed forces are in. After all, bellyaching about ‘toxic masculinity’ and ‘unsuitable kit for females’ is so much more important than asking how we will pay to replenish the bare armament cupboard, given the state of our economy. Oh, one more squirrel before I leave:
“Job coaches are set to be stationed at GP surgeries under plans being drawn up by the Government to get unemployed over-50s back to work. Ministers are understood to be considering the proposal as they strive to plug record gaps in Britain’s labour force and boost the economy.” (paywalled link)
What planet are those people living on? Why don’t they ‘consider’ ways of getting all those ‘refugees’ into work – you know, the dinghy drivers now living cushy lives in hotels, everything free?
That’s all I have got for today. I hope the Welsh rugby fans will now sing ‘Delilah’ even more fervently. Also, I loathe squirrels, especially those ‘revealed’ by the Westminster press. Have a good day.
It has been reported today that Ursula von De Luyen has stated that the European Court of Justice and its judges will continue to oversee what happens in Northern Ireland as part of the new trade deal, and that she has a good relationship with the prime minister. I bet she has bearing in mind that she has got everything she wanted out of these utter shambles of negotiations that this government under Sunak has undertaken. If these reports are true it indicates that as per usual the British government has caved in to European Commission demands. What part of ‘taking back control’ does Sunak not understand, and what country on the European continent would enter negotiations and not put the best interests of their own citizens and country before those of another country and citizens. Answer none, except there is one and that is the British government which is made up of a bunch of unprincipled weaklings who give in at the drop of a hat as they are more worried about the feelings of the leaders of the European Commission and European countries rather then doing what is good and right for this country and its citizens. Sunak and this utterly shambolic and totally useless Conservative government should have gone into these negotiations of the belief that Northern Ireland is not their own territory to be use as a pawn and bargaining chip. The province is an integral part of the United Kingdom and should remain so until the majority of its citizens decide otherwise. And one the reasons that we voted to leave the European Union in 2016 was to take back control of our own law making in our own parliaments, able to trade with whom we like in the world, where our own court system has jurisdiction over laws and decisions made in this country, and being able to secure our borders without outside interference, and that means the European Union and European Commission This government under successive prime ministers has been a spectacular disaster, and the time is rapidly approaching that this government is made to leave office and that we elect a new administration in a general election. We cannot afford to wait another 15 months because it will be another fifteen months of utter incompetence at every conceivable level. I am so bloody sick and tired of this shambolic Conservative government that I for one voted for in 2019 and we need to be put out of our misery and the Conservatives should be consigned to the dustbin of history where they so deservedly belong, and good riddance I say.
A true British PM would tell Ursula von De Luyen and her cronies to go to hell and keep her nose out of our business. Time for radical change but where are the politicians that we need and voters awake not woke?
A Simple leaflet. :–

TG Spokes……I know of Richard Braine and have spoken to him many a time, especially when we were protesting outside the House of Commons with UKIP and Leave means Leave activists and campaigners in the days of Teresa May’s potential Brexit betrayals. I wouldn’t know how to contact him now, but probably like him I am not involved politically with any party because I cannot see one worth supporting at the moment….
Toxic masculinity?
Why are men rarely depressed?
Men are simply happier people. What to expect from such uncomplicated creatures?
They have the same last name their whole life.
The garage is all theirs.
Wedding plans are made by itself.
Chocolate is just another type of snack.
They never gets pregnant.
They can go to the water park without a shirt.
Auto mechanics will tell them the truth.
They pee wherever they want, the whole world is their toilet.
Men, are you aware that:
Wrinkles highlight your character.
When you talk to people, they never stare at your boobs.
New shoes do not cut, blister or otherwise damage your feet.
Your mood is the same all the time.
You usually end a phone conversation within 30 seconds.
You only need one bag for five days of vacation.
You can open any jar.
If someone forgets to invite you, you will still remain friends.
For 10 € you get as many as three pairs of underpants.
Three pairs of shoes are more than enough for you.
Everything on your face is the original color.
The same hairstyle can last you years, even decades.
You only have to shave your face and neck.
One wallet and one pair of shoes – the same color for all seasons.
You can wear shorts, no matter what your legs look like.
You can trim your nails with a pocket knife.
You decide freely whether you want to have a mustache or a beard.
You can buy Christmas presents for 25 relatives in 25 minutes.
Men, you are simply happier people.

If Mirjana, Sanja and Dubravka go to lunch together, they will be called Mirjana, Sanja and Dubravka.
If they go out together, Marko, Dejan and Ivan will surely be called Chubby, Brother and Beast.
*Lunch in a cafe*
When the bill comes, all three, Marko, Dejan and Ivan, will each throw 20 € on the table, even though the bill is only 50€.
None of them will have a smaller bill and none will admit that they would like their change back.
When the girls get the bill, they each pull out their calculator…
*Money*
A man will pay 20€ for an item worth 10€ that he needs.
A woman will pay 10€ for an item worth 20€ that she does not need, but that item is on sale.
*Bathrooms*
A man has 6 things in the bathroom: a toothbrush, toothpaste, shaving cream, a razor, soap and a towel.
A typical women’s bathroom has an average of 337 items. A man out of those 337 would not be able to identify more than 20.
*Future*
A woman worries about the future until she gets a husband.
Men never worry about the future until they get a wife.
*Wedding*
A woman marries a man and expects him to change – but he doesn’t change.
A man marries a woman and expects her not to change – but she changes.
*Dressing*
A woman dresses nicely when she goes shopping, waters flowers, takes out the trash, answers a phone call, reads a book and receives an e-mail. Actually always.
A man dresses nicely for weddings and funerals.
*Naturally*
When a man wakes up he looks as good as when he went to sleep.
A woman’s appearance somehow deteriorates overnight.
*Thought of the day*
Married men can forget their mistakes.
There is no need for two people to remember the same things!
So, send this to women who have a sense of humor and men who will enjoy reading this!
Flyer……..the whisky must have good last night, or whatever you were drinking. Not sure whether I agree with some of the stuff you’ve written here, but probably said tongue in cheek. Don’t most men have a face flannel in the bathroom as well in addition deodorant and after shave. As for the 337 items that women have, would seem to indicate that you are basing this on your own experiences and live with a horder. As a matter of interest are you able to get in through your front door, or is it I suspect piled high with rubbish from the floor to the ceiling. I’ve certainly been into some of those homes in a professional capacity. Flyer old chap you need to invest a good Skip.
I enjoyed this Flyer, especially the “Thought for the day” . However, just for the record, I don’t conform to a number of the descriptions but I know a lot that do.
It’s a pity that Group Captain somebody or other has not taken the time to point out to Air Marshal somebody or other, that there are almost as many ‘officers of ‘rank’ as there are modern front line aircraft, but presumably flying musemn pieces around pretending to be a world class air force is more important.
There is apparently lots of people in the UK who could be working but prefer to sit on their arses at home.
Better to get them in work.
We need to be rid of these invaders, not finding them a job.
It’s all back to the fact that the con party has joined labour in buying votes.
HA……….are you one them? I’m looking at the time you posted this and its 08.13 am, and if you are of working age should you not be making to your place of work by foot, in the car, on a trolley bus or on a train. Just asking……..
Harry F Again always posts early. Often the very first.
At 08.15 I have been at work for 3/4 hr and generall now sitting in operational mtgs.
So yes, likely HFA is just another sponger / scrounger.
