It’s everywhere … but don’t panic, boosters are at hand …

 

One really couldn’t make it up! It’s not even a week since the discovery of that covid ‘variant of concern’, first called ‘Nu’ and then ‘Omicron’ by the WHO, was sprung on an unsuspecting world. It’s not even a week since our PM, then Mr Biden, then the rest of the Western politicians, fell into utter panic-mode, closing down entry from southern African countries, imposing new mask mandates and demanding booster jabs for everybody. Never mind that even the Big Pharma spokespeople said that they couldn’t guarantee their stuff would ‘protect’ people from catching the new, scare variant. People must be jabbed, and so people are rushing to get that jab.

And now this: Joe Biden tells the world that “This variant is a cause for concern, not a cause for panic, […] If people are vaccinated and wear their mask, there’s no need for lockdowns.” (paywalled link, also: link, paywalled)). Blimey! Will those travel restrictions be lifted – they are, after all, racist, aren’t they! – or will the international covid governments use this ever so welcome panic, created by themselves, to keep their boots firmly on our faces, with mask mandates everywhere and covid vax ‘certificates’ to be shown everywhere?

Johnson told the press that his covid government is pondering if ‘fully vaccinated’ should mean having had three jabs to be permitted to participate in what remains of our social lives (link). And just like that, with that question having been asked by willing covid journalists, with that answer having been published in the willing covid MSM, the presumption that everybody needs a vaccine passport has silently been accepted. Yes – let that sink in: vax passports have suddenly been made acceptable.

Daily test certificates could become a substitute. It’s all based on the ‘precautionary principle’  because you could harbour Omicron without knowing, even when jabbed. Weren’t all those travellers from SA who ‘had Omicron’ double-jabbed? Ms Sturgeon meanwhile told her nation that Scots ought to test themselves every time when meeting ‘someone from another household’ and that the tests should be made free (paywalled link). ‘Tis only NHS money, only paid for by the English, after all.

Well, this Omicron panic, grabbed by Johnson, is working: Brits are now ‘scrambling’ to get that booster jab in an unprecedented act of preemptive obedience – to ‘save Christmas’ (link, paywalled). This rush is driven by ‘reports from the frontline’, of how the NHS is also ‘scrambling’ to fulfil all those jab-wishes, as if we were facing another life-or-death situation (link).

The MSM are of course desperate to keep the panic going. The DM published one article under a screaming headline that there are now 330 more covid patients in hospital in one SA province (link), ‘conceding’ further down in that report that they don’t know if these are all Omicron patients and that, moreover, these hospitalisations are ‘covid-related’. Of course we’re not told what that means!

At the same time and on the same DM home page there’s an article by Dr Coetze, the chair of the SA Medical Association. She writes: “No one here in South Africa is known to have been hospitalised with the Omicron variant, nor is anyone here believed to have fallen seriously ill with it.” (link) and that the western panic is uncalled for.

We do know though, do we not, why the covid governments panicked everywhere! This was the welcome trigger to herd everybody into getting that 3rd jab. It’s no good for a Times opinion writer to claim that Omicron is ‘serious’ but ‘we shouldn’t have overreacted’ (link, paywalled). The truly dreadful point is that the whole western world is again haring down the road of jabs and more jabs even when they don’t really protect and when the side effects are so considerable. It’s no use for government and MSM and Big Pharma to try and brush these aside as ‘anecdotal’. More and more people are aware of them.

Again, the covid emperors everywhere simply never mention that covid can be treated and has been treated successfully with cheap drugs available off-patent, available for every doctor to prescribe. It’s as if we were told we need monthly booster jabs against the flu but weren’t permitted to stay in bed, glugging down Lemsip. It’s as if we were told to wait, to become so ill that we’d have to go to hospital, before doctors would treat us there with ever more expensive drugs. It’s as if common sense and hundreds of years of experience with treating colds, sniffles and the flu needed to be thrown out of the window because only the latest, most expensive drugs would help, as if any ordinary medicine, tried and tested for more than 100 years, were useless in this modern, hi-tech world.

There was another, brief covid scare report in The Times, on a study in the USA showing that ‘1 in 100’ covid patients develop ‘brain complications’, e.g. strokes or encephalitis (link, paywalled). In that same report we’re told that the ONS found in a study on ‘Long Covid’ that 30% of those sufferers had difficulties concentrating.

For some reason there haven’t been studies on how covid and covid hospitalisation might have long-term effects on covid patients’ minds and intellectual capabilities. Perhaps nobody dares to study this because it might show that the PM is suffering with “Long Mental Covid”. Perhaps we need another ‘Peppa Pig’ speech to prove it …
