Waiting for the new ‘Boss’ …
Hands up all who watched ‘that’ acceptance performance yesterday, which gave us a ‘new’ PM? Because I didn’t, and I’m glad I didn’t when I read today’s MSM. The print editions this morning have only this one subject (link). It’s as if La Truss had won a GE, but then, we recall that the same MSM have treated this inner-Tory-Party election as if the whole nation was voting.
The MSM gossip mongers have now returned with a vengeance, insinuating that they know already who will get which office in the Truss cabinet – and MizL iz hasn’t even seen the Queen yet. She’ll be at Balmoral today and tomorrow she’ll face her first PMQ.
For the record, she gained 57% of the Tory members’ vote, Sunak got 43%. That’s less than the previous two PMs achieved when they replaced their predecessors. The verdict of the speccie editors from yesterday evening’s email newsletter is pretty damaging:
“Truss built her reputation in part through her Instagram account, which featured the ambitious minister enjoying various trips and meetings. The next few months, though, aren’t going to be enjoyable – or very Instagrammable.” (Speccie email news)
How low have we sunk as a Nation when Instagram ‘popularity’ translates into political success, into being handed the keys to No 10. As for her acceptance speech, here are the relevant quotes from Quentin Letts’s sketch for The Times:
“The acceptance remarks were short and constipated. […] Our next prime minister announced that having been elected as a Conservative she intended to govern as a Conservative. A revolutionary concept. She mentioned lower taxes, personal freedom, energy costs and the health service. “We will deliver, we will deliver, we will deliver,” she quacked. Someone buy that woman a Unigate milk float.” (link, paywalled)
Nice one! More to the point is Letts’ description of the audience because, on purpose or not, he sketched the incestuous circus of the Westminster denizens performing their theatre for us plebs:
“Most journalists had been placed towards the back from where they radiated competitive cynicism but a few television correspondents mixed it with the parliamentarians. When you see ministers and TV showboaters beside each other, they are indistinguishable. Same professional smiles. Same tans. Same class. This is now worse than it was before the referendum. […] Compared to this circus of weirdos, the Conservative Party members who attended the month of hustings seemed pretty sane.” (link, paywalled)
Thank you, Quentin! Sadly, it’s this bunch of weirdos which are going to govern us, no difference if they sit in offices in Whitehall or MSM newsrooms. For example, currently the DT has the best ‘sources’, the best access to gossip and spin. This morning they’re therefore able to report that certain Tory backbenchers have already made demands:
“Allies of Penny Mordaunt are urging Liz Truss to appoint her former leadership rival as deputy prime minister, it can be revealed. Senior Conservative figures say the move would be “popular” with members and MPs and could help bring the fractured party back together.” (paywalled link)
Un-effing-believable! Still, Truss did claim she wants to form a government ‘of all the (Tory) talents’. When one looks at the alleged people who will be given the top posts one might be permitted to have some doubts (my emphasis):
“Many of the biggest jobs are understood to have been decided, with none of the four great offices of state set to be occupied by a white male. In the most diverse top team ever, Kwasi Kwarteng is expected to become Chancellor with James Cleverly earmarked for foreign secretary. Suella Braverman is set to be home secretary.” (paywalled link)
That’s a bunch of ‘talent’, that is! If we can believe this gossip, Truss seems to want to hand poisoned chalices to her perceived enemies:
“Ms Truss is expected to hand other former leadership rivals Cabinet roles. Nadhim Zahawi, who is currently at the Treasury, will take charge of the Cabinet Office as the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster. Kemi Badenoch and Tom Tugendhat have been tipped to become education secretary and security minister attending Cabinet respectively.” (paywalled link)
One person who will not be in the cabinet is Frosty (my emphasis):
“Lord Frost, the former Brexit negotiator, will not be in Liz Truss’s first Cabinet after turning down two roles that were offered to him, […] The ex-diplomat was sounded out about the role of Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, once occupied by Michael Gove, but rejected it because Ms Truss wants the job to be far more narrowly focused than in Mr Gove’s time. Ms Truss’s team also raised the possibility of making Lord Frost the Leader of the House of Lords, but he told them he would be the wrong person for the job because it should go to someone who has been a peer for much longer than his two years. Although he indicated that he would be happy to serve in a Truss Cabinet if offered a job to which he felt he was suited, there has been no contact between the two sides in the past week.” (paywalled link)
And that after his early, glowing support for Truss … but then, Frosty is a ‘stale white male’ and Truss and her ‘team’ clearly believes that skin pigmentation is more important than expertise. Some Tory backbenchers -anonymous, of course – had this to say:
“MPs who supported Mr Sunak, who is not expected to have a role in the new Cabinet, are already expressing concern that she appears to be giving all the top jobs to her own loyalists. “It’s all very well Liz standing up there saying I want to use the talent from all the party,” said one minister who backed the former chancellor’s campaign. At the moment she seems to think the talent only comes from those who supported her. She’s very weak in her parliamentary support and to so brazenly ignore the supporters of her rival, she’s already got enough problems.” (paywalled link)
While it’s nice of her to reward her allies with lucrative cabinet jobs I’m afraid we’ve got one step closer to the times where the Whitehall mandarins will pull the strings. In a whiff of T.May’s regime, we read that Truss:
“intends to quickly appoint a new principal private secretary, while Simon Case, the cabinet secretary and head of the civil service, is not expected to stay on. Truss is thought to favour James Bowler, permanent secretary at the Department for International Trade, for the role.” (link, paywalled)
If she brings Mr Bowler to the cabinet then I feel doubly justified in my verdict that she will have a Mark Sedwill Mk II at her side – a mandarin who made her look very good as Trade Sec, having domesticating her successfully.
I leave you with the glad news that she’ll not rip out that golden wallpaper installed by Carrie: that’ll save some money (link, paywalled)! Johnson meanwhile is said to move into ‘a borrowed house in central London’ where he’ll apparently write his Downing Street memoirs by Christmas (paywalled link). Well, the advances on that book should see him and Carrie through the winter. I doubt it’ll be a ‘cracking read’ because, I believe, even PMs aren’t allowed to spill cabinet secrets unless a certain time of grace has passed.
We’re in for bruising times. The first cries of ‘rally behind Truss to save the Tory Party’ are already being heard. The question is: will she be able to last to the GE in 2024? Or will she be forced into a snap election, perhaps by a vote of No Confidence triggered by the misery of energy prices not fixed while there’s a cold snap and the Sacred Cow is overwhelmed yet again by winter illnesses?
Until PMQ on Wednesday, “we” can ‘celebrate’ a PM manufactured by mandarins and the MSM, with a cabinet without ‘white men’ in the top offices of state. Let’s hope that Truss won’t be able to swamp the nation with ‘instagrammable’ moments because surely that’s against Cabinet rulz.
Meanwhile, since we dunno what Truss will ‘deliver, deliver, deliver’, we better look to ‘deliver’ to ourselves what we will need to get through the coming times, stuff which will soon become too expensive or ‘out of stock’. I’m afraid the mess we’re in will only get worse. Sigh.
Replying to Colin Hussey ref Nigel and GB TV
Sorry I don’t agree with your take on the Farage programme which I watched for two ours ondaynight and the normal one hour tonight.
I enjoyed both nights, they were both full if content , I know he cannot go too far in dishing the dirt, but he really sets the scene for Mark Steyn, I know we only had one dose of Mark Steyn tonight, but he does get hold of an issue, exposes it to the full and sticks to it.
Inked the abused S it girl/woman from Telford who he had on tonight for instance, he also showed the “debates” in the Houseof Commons and the lack of attendees on such vital subjects as Telford etc., he also employs a very telling sardonic sense of humour – I’ve always believed ridicule is one of the most telling forms of criticism.
He does it heavy handed,y in spades..
Ref Nigel as a radical politician prepared to drain the swamp and tear the present system to bits,
I’m afraid it’s just not on, he really is a Conservative through and through, sad and disagreeing with the party and how it allowed itself to be seducedby the EU initially, but at heart I really believes he wants to save it,
Indeed he did try to do a reverse takeover of it , but only ended up with Carsewell and and Reckless plus some conservative council lore and other officials.
I heard him the other night about reforming parliament and the Lords, but his realisation there would be a permanent ineffective coalition.
Perhaps to get the impetus to grassroots level we should try the Swiss system of permanent referenda.
Just received this:
Good afternoon.
I have just accepted Her Majesty The Queen’s kind invitation to form a new government.
Let me pay tribute to my predecessor.
Boris Johnson delivered Brexit, the Covid vaccine, and stood up to Russian aggression.
History will see him as a hugely consequential Prime Minister.
I am honoured to take on this responsibility at a vital time for our country.
What makes Britain great is our fundamental belief in freedom, in enterprise, and in fair play.
Our people have shown grit, courage, and determination time and time again.
We now face severe global headwinds caused by Russia’s appalling war in Ukraine and the aftermath of Covid.
Now is the time to tackle the issues that are holding Britain back.
We need to build roads, homes, and broadband faster.
We need more investment and great jobs in every town and city across our country.
We need to reduce the burden on families and help people get on in life.
I know we have what it takes to tackle those challenges.
Of course, it won’t be easy. But we can do it.
We will transform Britain into an aspiration nation with high-paying jobs, safe streets and where everyone everywhere have the opportunities they deserve.
I will take action this day, and action every day, to make it happen.
United with our allies, we will stand up for freedom and democracy around the world – recognising we cannot have security at home without security abroad.
As Prime Minister, I will pursue three early priorities.
Firstly, I will get Britain working again.
I have a bold plan to grow the economy through tax cuts and reform.
I will cut taxes to reward hard work and boost business-led growth and investment.
I will drive reform in my mission to get Britain working, building, and growing.
We will get spades in the ground to make sure people are not facing unaffordable energy bills and we will also make sure that we are building hospitals, schools, roads, and broadband.
Secondly, I will deal hands-on with the energy crisis caused by Putin’s war.
I will take action this week to deal with energy bills and to secure our future energy supply.
Thirdly, I will make sure people can get the doctors’ appointments and NHS services they need. We will put our health service on a firm footing.
By delivering on the economy, energy, and the NHS, we will put our nation on the path to long-term success.
We should not be daunted by the challenges we face.
As strong as the storm may be, I know the British people are stronger.
Our country was built by people who get things done.
We have huge reserves of talent, of energy, and of determination.
I am confident that together we can ride out the storm, we can rebuild our economy, and become the modern, brilliant Britain that I know we can be.
This is our vital mission to ensure opportunity and prosperity for all people and future generations. I am determined to deliver. Thank you.
Liz Truss
Prime Minister
Leader of the Conservative & Unionist Party
Pity that she doesn’t accept that Boris didn’t deliver Brexit and Putin only responded to perceived aggression by NATO and the EU.
I have just finished listening to Nigel Farage’s programme on GB News this evening and he said from the outset that there were loads of great guests etc, but I cannot think of a more tedious show than the one he presented tonight, and as for the ‘Talking Pints’ what an absolute bore that was featuring a former BBC journalist telling us how great he is. The contributors were the same contributors he uses on a regular weekly basis. And as for the supposed commercial breaks that are run every ten minutes, they are going from bad to worse. One of them states ‘we’ll give you the good news and the bad, but more importantly we are here for you’. I don’t think so, as we know unlike other similar station’s they don’t accept phone calls, and it seems to me at least less and less views of the public are given to the various issues that are raised. Farage is wasted on that programme, and he needs to return to frontline politics and form a new right of centre political party to give the electorate a real choice at the next general election, which I fear may not be too far away now.
The civil service is waiting and defensive and ready to lash out in destruct mode, I would just say the cost of our civil service working for itself is in the trillions every year. Currently it is not worth it’ when using all the weapons at its disposal from from leeks to bad promotion to MrsMay’s Ollie etc, in its anti Britain Mode. But working in support mode and doing a ‘proper’ job, would ‘earn’ their K’s peerages and pensions as badges of honour. They need to sort their bureaucratic selves and underlings out.. To give value for money.
Stop pretending people pay income tax. It’s just a political name to swindle. People are paid what they get. Their employer finds the money to pay off the government’ . And the customer gets less value for money and goes to Germany.
Taxes are taken for every imaginable and conceivable reason.
So called windfall taxes are a lack of honour and scurrilous.
OK Big business needs reform , but not dishonerable theft. It makes bothe sides as bad as each other.
Hmm . . . Well, as far as I can tell it is all speculation about what she is going to do.
As usual, no FACTS no NEWS.
Generally I’ve found women tougher than men. I believe, that in her situation ,it’s impossible to just carry on. The men on offer were dire..every last one. I wouldn’t want any as a friend. She’ll need guts. I believe she’s got that. And will do the job, If allowed As i think have her political sisters. I just hope she’s not a “jolly popular “-ist.
There is just too much wrong. She needs to avoid the snow job coming.
Instead of snarling at anything we can think of, how about helping. A Plan. We would all like to see the direction of travel. Bad and Good. An end needs to be in sight. For both the idiot left an the greedy right. And the plan needs something for most. Without ridicule, You can’t go wrong with a plan. A 4 Point plan. So much for the obvious. If people can see a schedule and plan dates, they co-operate ( 2 hours )
!.. Immediate research and policy groups set up for more thoughtful and considered changes. Such as consideration of Law and Justice and Diversity and Reality…or possibly….less legality… Relative Positions of Economics and society and City `( 1 hours consideration ). Or Trust, Honesty, simplicity and proberty and professions and pride in public life This can be done by you in a couple of hours
2. .Short term Actions to bring back sanity. That will be attended to immediately.in order of efficacy eg1…Tax cuts, 2. Cost of living repayable loans, 3.Legal deferment.4Police rises.4 etc. Nailing down Brexit.6. curtail the Legal Aid industry.
3…..Long term basic bills for brand new legislation eg internet/people responsibilities and punishment.
4 Constitution changes.to be considered by full houses.
If you look at that, there’s something for everybody, and if you chuck in that dishonesty or lies or false witness or etc to parliament will henceforth be punished by exclusion instantly till cleared, show trials must be paid for by contestants etc
Could something like this stop the baying of the ravening and bloodthirsty and careless wolves of the airwaves lead to freedom again. BBC has far too many channels. Devotion of perhaps three could lead to more better and selective availability…….Maybe ? BUT ALL THESE THINGS ARE URGENT SO some sort of priority is needed
Dear god 3 channels of MP’s
ps.
When things stop working,Are taking for ever, procedures and outcomes are clearly wrong. You cannot cure it with logic, Is there a precedent, Invent your own, that sounds correct. You don’t care. It works.
TG Spokes……….any chance that you and Liz Truss could form a committee to decide policy?
A plan would be good TGS as long as those responsible for what has been done the last 2 1/2 years are brought to justice, including who authorised use use of experimental drugs without legal liability… Heads should roll.
A propos nothing at all, except as diversion from the impending chaos of 12 years of failed government, I wish to record that some of the nicest people I have ever met are Mexican Indians, descendants of Aztecs (who once practiced human sacrifice but are much nicer now), It was Christmas Day in 1978 and I was walking along a deserted beach in south west Mexico on its pacific coast in a temperature of over 40°. In the distance I saw a small coca cola seller, a woman and her three children, and I stopped to buy a coke. The culture is to offer food to strangers if you yourself are about to eat which she was. Christmas for her children was just cream crackers with a spread from a small jar of sandwich spread, saved no doubt as a treat. She offered me a cracker, insisted in fact, with a smile so natural, engaging, and from her eyes so completely genuine, that I succumbed. It was utterly humbling. (Antipathy to gringos is a north Mexican phenomenom at least back then). There was a small town a few kilometres inland where all the men were out of their heads on mescal and lying in the street as I discovered the next day. The father of that woman’s children was probably one of them.
I was heading down to Guatamala but an encounter with a tarantula – it’s a bit jungly in the south – and a scorpion led to a whimsical change of plan and I turned left over the Sierre Madre mountains to head toward Oaxaca and then VeraCruz. It was very whimsical as there was no paved road just dirt track that appeared to head in the right direction. I was in a light blue beetle, but as I climbed so the track degenerated and became strewn with increasingly large bolders. Progress was very slow. About half way up a group of men carrying machetes approached out of nowhere. My first thought was that if they robbed and killed me then absolutely no-one would know. The posse of machete carriers were in fact very friendly and only came over out of amazement and curiosity as the number of mad westerners (or anyone) trying that track in a car was precisely zero.
I made it to Veracruz by New Years Eve which was spent in a bar by the docks with an off duty prostitute, some dockers, and a half Honduranian, half Palestinian terrorist who had scars on his wrists from when he had been tied up, he claimed, by Israelis. It was the most convival New Years Eve I have ever had. The terrorist and I ended the evening swearing life long friendship before he boarded the ship – he worked on a tanker – that was off to Japan the next day. We were quite drunk of course.
It is the Indians, the woman on the beach and the machete group, that I remember most. Something about those chance meetings has stayed with me for transcending nationality, class, and politics and for being people meeting at their most unaffected in some strange way. It could not happen today for the drug gangs have infiltrated Mexico and turned it into a dangereous place. I doubt the Indians are now so trusting and simple.
The only time I came close to repeating the experience was while walking in a remote farm in the punjab in 1997. The sun was setting and I came across a small group of workers squatting around a fire and making chapatis. I was invited, by sign language, to join them. We were together for the simple reason, as in Mexico all those years ago, of just being alive together, of being people who were in the same time and place with nothing, absolutely nothing, of the outside world intruding. A friend reported a similar experience from trekking across the Okavango delta. It’s even better, apparantly, when you lose track of time and can no longer even name the day of the week.
I have never enjoyed a similar feeling in the UK. Yes, there has been camraderie on campaign trails, an enjoyment of sharing political goals with people, but never that meeting of people untrammelled by anything other than just alive at the same time. It is not possible in urban or developed environments with media. I doubt I ever will repeat those experiences, but the memory sustains me.
I am full of somewhat wistful envy of your encounters, Stout. Wistful because in those days even a most intrepid, physically fit feminist wouldn’t have dared to do those trips – alone. Still, there were some possibilities for such encounters in the British Isles, far away from metropolitan ‘news’ and especially surroundings. I fondly remember a night in ‘the’ pub on Clare Island … and one even much closer to home, in Wales, in the ‘Ship Inn’ in Trefin. it still exists. ’twas the night when the 1982 January blizzard hit the country. The dogs were locked at the legally permitted time – only everybody, village countable included, were inside. The fire was burning, it was warm, the storm howled … deciding to get back down to the cottage we rented, at 1am, was an adventure in itself. Obviously we survived … but that’s a tale for another time.
If it’s any consolation it got a bit hairy at times for this bloke. I was lucky in Darjeeling. Surrounded by a crowd of young hindu men they were initally just curious, I think, there being no cultural inhibition to staring, but they began to encroach and the mood seemed to be changing. I backed away against a wall – you don’t want them coming up behind you – when a local policeman came through the crowd and stood next to me. Problem solved until my bus arrived.
I take your point though. It is not fair that women should be risk at when travelling, or anywhere, and so enjoy fewer options as a result. But those options are dimishing for all of us. My 1978 adventure began by turning up at Heathrow and seeing if there were any cheap standby tickets. I got one for the Pan Am Clipper heading west. Not possible today.
Those were (still) the days … PanAm now long gone, never mind the romance of air travel. A few years earlier than that I demonstrated that I’d never become rich: instead of being sensible and investing the DM I inherited from a great-aunt I spent them on an urge to be on the seas. I went on a banana freighter from Hamburg to Ecuador and back: 30 whole days at Sea! Some adventures were also had while waiting in harbour, taking on those bananas, like going with some of the sailors to put some decoration on the grave of the bosun of the sister ship who’d died on the previous voyage. A romantic death: in the bed of a Guayaquil prostitute. No, the other passengers didn’t know …They also had a ship dog, a short-legged terrier-like one for whom they’d made an extra dish so he could enjoy getting drunk with the rest of us, on Cuba Libre – rum, being duty-free, was extremely cheap …
Crossing the Atlantic was the aim, and the main thing, and it was as fabulous as I’d expected.
I live quite close to Trefin and all the rural pubs had lock-ins back in the day for their regulars, not that I was a regular of course! Everybody knew everyone else of course, but also everyone helped each other too.
Regarding your recollections in the bar in Veracruz. The off-duty hooker – her name wasn’t Maria by any chance was it? On my travels in the early 80s in central America every night on retiring their was a note in my hotel key hole with a telephone number and the words ‘Maria called’. She followed me all over Mexico but we never met.
Good heavens. I think it was Maria. You didn’t keep her number by any chance?
Fascinating Stout. I could have read a lot more about your escapades.

They got this out quickly!
Prime Minister after Next General Election Betting Odds
Keir Starmer 4/5
Liz Truss 11/8
Not a word Viv about the Protocol or ECHR – Frosty’s the only one I’d trust to handle that one
Where’s Redwood and IDS too? Out on a limb?
Redwood, Smith, Baker, Davis et al are already playing an unofficial, huge part in the Party. Isn’t it their job to keep the credulous centre Right voter’s flame of hope burning sufficiently to keep them voting for the Party, whilst all the while, the real Party agenda is quietly actioned? They appear to have made quite a success of their role. Looking over the last 30 years, has this group of MPs who play to the centre Right voter had any success in turning this corrupt party around?
The last three years are all from the same ‘playbook’ as written by the U.S media for the Biden administration, we in the U.K are just a few months behind that circus, but have no doubt we will soon catch up . Maybe the woke millenial generation now running everything will actually wake up when they find their ‘safe spaces’ are not that safe this winter but as yet there is little sign of them or their useful idiot middle class parents doing so. One couple told me yesterday that they were not worried about turning off lights or cutting down on heating, because ‘ we already pay high electricity and gas bills’ I rest y case.
Viv- a good time to bury bad news?
Roccia has shut down hydrocarbon supplies to yourope for the foreseeable future.
Hungary as previously, looking after its own citizens rather than kowtow to brussels, has negotiated with Roccia for continued supplies.
In the words of Vaughn Monroe – let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.
Liz Truss, just the sight of her makes me want to throw up.
Every time I think that I couldn’t despise a politician more, another one comes along that is actually worse. I hated Tony Blair, then along came Gordon Brown and I hated him more. Then came Cameron and Clegg or Beavis and Butthead as I used to call them, they were awful. Theresa May I felt was as bad as a politician could be but then came Johnson, I always knew he would let us down and I was right.
As our succession of Prime Ministers have gone bad to worse, so has Britain; now we have Truss to help our once beautiful, orderly and civilised country on it’s final leg down into becoming a bankrupt, third world, overpopulated craphole.
Anybody that thinks that Truss will improve our lot is deluded. I have given up listening to politicians, they are professional liars and con men in the pay of globalists like the WEF and UN which in turn are run by bankers, they have no business to be leading a supposedly democratic country.
If we want to improve our lot in life, the only way to do it is to drag these political scumbags into the street and string them up on the nearest lamp posts.
flyer- could not agree more. Oh, sorry I dont want plod to come around and ‘do me’ for hate crime. So . . . I could not disagree more(!).
One indian subcontinent mp Pretty ‘the Barrel’ Patel is out, apparently to be replaced by several sunburned others.
Just as the londonistan mayor will never again be an indiginous white, let alone a man, it seems parliament is going the same way.
Flyer………pretty strong words and I could feel the ire in your words as I read it. And I wouldn’t disagree with anything that you have said. My heart sank when I heard her acceptance speech yesterday. Nothing new, and the same old same old, and the sad fact that although she said she would ‘rule as a conservative’ I just felt that would in essence she would be ruling as a Liberal Democrat instead, and everyone in the physical audience clapped in agreement, so business as usual as she undoubtedly will be the continuity prime minister and a smooth transition from the Johnson inspired buffoonery. If he (Johnson) had stuck to being a conservative and did the job as prime minister as it should have been done, kicked the green agenda permanently into the long grass, and delivered full independence from the European Union, then he might still have been sitting there. As we now know he broke laws that he himself pushed through parliament without so much as a debate, and very wrongly formed a belief in his own mind that those rules did not apply to himself, his office or his family. And then on Nigel Farage’ programme on GB News there was a Truss supporter sitting to his right who went on and on about the economy and cost of living, but said absolutely nothing about the English Channel migrant crisis, the territorial waters and fishing issue or very much about the Northern Ireland protocol. The only true conservatives was the chap from the Free Speech Union, and of course Farage himself, and one could sense that the Truss supporter did not agree with their viewpoint. So, it seems from my perspective at least that these will not be her priorities, and that if she carries on down that route will not win over the voters in the ‘red wall’ seats in the north which ultimately will lead to her and the Conservatives downfall at the next general election.
I’m sure ‘Chuckie’ will sort it out Flyer 🙂
Re cost of living. Nothing can be done except steal from some in order to bribe others. Borrowing is just stealing from the future.
Some conservative Truss is!
HarryFAgain- why are *you* worried Armadamus? You claim to live on fresh air, dont drink (includes the deadly leaves**), don’t seem to spend anything and plunder everyone else’s sunlight and heat whilst living in the Stone cave..
And what is the difference between stealing, plundering, and taxation? Real difference.
