2020 New Year’s Resolutions
Everybody makes them – and nobody keeps them: New Year’s Resolutions. They’re fun, though, so let’s make some for our politicians and government.
#1 : GET US OUT!
We’ve been patient, and after the May disaster, we’ve told the government again, forcefully, to get us out. Leave voters lent you their votes, Johnson – so do it or we’ll stick you in that ditch ourselves.
#2 : REMIND WHITEHALL MANDARINS THAT THEY WORK FOR US, NOT THE EU!
We expect better than just a reshuffle of Whitehall departments, and we never want to hear: ‘the EU won’t like it’ as argument ever again.
#3 : SORT OUT THE BBC!
Why should we listen to “progressives” who disrespect us, who keep telling us what to think, from so-called ‘News’ to talk shows to ‘period dramas’ – all paid for by us? So: sort out the BBC!
#4 : STOP THE GREEN CRAP!
Stop listening to the promoters of green crap, stop implementing EU “green” legislation for which we ordinary people have to pay, directly and through a ruined economy!
#5 : LISTEN TO US!
Real life does not take place on social media, so stop kowtowing to ‘twitter storms’ and listen to us out here! Life is not about ‘feelz’ and being ‘woke’ – it’s about letting us get on with the things that matter to us, without interference from officially ‘woke’ busybodies.
#6 : AS IT IS GIVEN SO IT CAN BE TAKEN AWAY
Remember: we lent you our votes. You didn’t ‘buy’ them with promises of giving us money, else we’d have voted Corbyn who promised more. We have given you the mandate to get us Out, for the third time of asking. So do it!
As for us here at INDEPENDENCE Daily, our resolution for 2020 is simple. You know it by heart. We will KBO – in the face of EU lies, Government lies, MSM lies. That’s all.
Make 2020 the Year in which the British Lion is finally free!
“Green Crap”.
I was, a long time ago, a (Scottish) Green Party activist, at a time when the UK Greens were EU-sceptic and sensibly advocated a reproduction rate “well below the 2.1 children per woman replacement rate”. They’ve long abandoned those sound policies.
The elephant in the climate-change room is the rocketing number of climate changers. We have some 80m more each year on the planet. But according to the Global Footprint Network even the UK is grossly overpopulated relative to our biocapacity, so we should be phasing out all fiscal incentives to reproduce. We need quality, not quantity, in GB.
Our own people are not reproducing even at replacement rate; in a couple of generations we’ll be a minority in our own homeland. That is not what our forefathers sacrificed their lives for. We need to start having lots of babies if we want a future for our people.
Sadly, I still believe that if we are sold down the river to the EU via May’s surrender treaty (aka BJ’s ”new” WA – though see standup4brexit.com) then there won’t be a ”next time” where we might ”lend our votes”.
If the EU is handed power – even via a foot in the door throughout this year – then we won’t have the opportunity to ”lend” our votes ever again. Why would the EU self-interested masters allow any pro Brexit party to rule, if they could prevent it? And, of course, they would prevent it.
I would much rather be an optimist. It’s been knocked out of me.
PS But of course I wish us all a happy new year, and especially for those hard-working people who produce such a great and informative and POSITIVE website.
We should not forget the debt we all owe to Millar, Heseltine, Blair, Major, Gauke, Soubry, Bercow, Corbyn, Ummuna, the Supreme Court and the MSM et al whose arrogance and antics finally aroused the anger of the British people to use the ballot box to reject the Remainers and send the resounding message ‘Deliver Brexit Now’.

One of my own personal ‘political’ resolutions is to compile and produce Pamphlets to present the arguments opposing the demonization of CO2. I have always felt that this is low fruit to take from the Globalists and expose their deceit. I will be working on that through January. But I have other resolutions that will be ‘mum’ for time being, nothing illegal you understand!
2020 will be very exciting because all the frustration and fighting of 2019 can now be built on. The fight is not over until more people are red pilled. Just because the Remain Establishment have been exposed doesn’t mean it’s over.
To quote Churchill
“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”
Perhaps six resolutions may be too many but there is so much to do! In fact I would add another in that Parliament should be petitioned to carry out an investigation into the process of the so called Supreme Court in their decision to overturn the High Court ruling on the prorogation of Parliament.
‘High Court of Justice and Outer House of the Court of Session—the English and Scottish civil courts of first instance—ruled that the matter was not subject to judicial review as it was a political decision’ Wikipedia.
This should require Parliament to challenge that court and those specific judges who sat on that judgement. They should challenge the individual behaviour and publicly accuse them, as individuals, of bringing the British Legal system into disrepute. They have defied the countries statute laws, usurped the authority of Parliament and hence the electorate, and applied a biased interpretation of their authority and duty, which could almost be described as Treasonous behaviour.
This, I believed should not go unchallenged as it is an insult to the British people. I am sorry to say they should be made examples of, and have the ‘book’ thrown at them. When that has been done the ‘so called’ Supreme Court should be dissolved.
Parliament is above the courts as they represent us the people and should be able to accuse those who try to usurp their authority. Ok I’m getting on one. So:
# 7 Purge the judiciary of political bias.
Then while we are on a roller:
# 8 Re-establish Free Speech.

I’m with you on this one, Kim. Except for “Parliament is above the courts as they represent us the people”. Parliament represents political parties not the British people. For the British people to be represented in front of the usurpers in the judicial system we need to revive and reintroduce Common Law principles of Trial by Jury and Nullification by Jury.
Kim I agree with you. On the subject of climate change I had a very satisfying exchange with a cold caller who said he was just passing and noticed my bay tree was too big and needed cutting down. I told him to leave my tree alone because it was not a nuisance to my neighbours; it breathed in carbon dioxide, breathed out oxygen and was therefore doing its bit to combat global warming.
