D-DAY LANDINGS: FIGHTING REAL NAZIS
79 years ago today, at the time of writing, the D-Day landings had started. There’s no mention of this date in todays MSM – it’s not a ‘proper’ jubilee, you understand – so “we” talk instead about ‘the Spare (a.k.a. ‘Waagh’) and about Rishi: “Newspaper headlines: ‘Absent Harry’ and ‘PM to overrule on boats Bill’” (link).
If you ask anyone, especially anyone from ‘Gen Z’, they’ll probably tell you the landings were ‘against the Nazis’ and therefore a ‘good thing’: Nazis are bad. Nowadays, anyone who is against Net Zero or who was against Lockdowns and mass vaccinations is and was a Nazi according to our MSM and hence is ‘bad’.
I note therefore with some astonishment that our beloved MSM have failed to report on a phenomenon taking place in Germany at this moment. Allow me a brief excursion to describe the political situation in Germany. This background is necessary to understand the extraordinary event currently happening in that country.
Since 2021 Germany is governed by a coalition of SPD, FDP and the Green Party. Mutti Merkel’s party, the CDU, always in coalition with the Bavarian CSU, is in opposition, as is ‘Die Linke’, the party proudly standing in the tradition of the former communist party which ruled East Germany before the Fall of the Wall in 1989.
There is one other opposition party, the AfD. That party has been labelled ‘Nazi’, and no upstanding, righteous politician would touch them with a bargepole. This has gone so far that at the constitution of the current German Parliament the MdBs (Member of the Bundestag, the German Parliament) fought to avoid having to sit next to the block of the AfD MdBs.
According to the rulz of said Bundestag, the AfD ought to have one of the posts of vice president of yon institution. Thanks to the shenanigans of the other parties, this didn’t happen. When their members speak, the other MdBs leave the chamber. Toddlers in a Kindergarten behave like that.
With the Greens in government, industrial Germany is being dismantled. Their nuclear power stations have been shut down. From next year, houses and apartment blocks – this is where the majority of Germans live, paying huge rents – will have to start installing heat pumps and never mind the costs.
German energy prices are exorbitant. Industries are closing down and moving abroad, for example the world-famous Chemical giant BASF. Farming is becoming ever more difficult – the Minister for Agriculture is a ‘Green’. More and more Germans are already suffering the consequences of ‘green crap’.
Rounding up, you also need to know that not one AfD member is ever invited to participate in the talk shows so beloved by the German MSM. Their AGMs are accompanied by lefty riots – provided they can find a venue which will take them.
Despite all of that, and to the astonishment of German politicians and political pundits, for the last couple of weeks this ‘orrible, ‘extreme right wing Nazi party’ is rising in the polls. They are now level with the governing SPD (link), and have overtaken the wonderful Greens. Some Germans have pointed out that they’re also head-to-head with the Merkel Party if one excludes their Bavarian coalition partner.
How is this even possible? Are Germans now becoming Nazis? Here’s the funny thing: pollsters and opinion piece writers, even some politicians, are starting to realise that the political decisions of the current coalition might actually have something to do with this. Germans, it seems, have noticed that the fabulous green crap is making them poorer, interfering with their private lives, and destroying their economy.
Germans have also noticed that there’s only one extra-parliamentary block which is given to violence in the streets: Antifa and the Left. There are no ‘nazis’ rampaging through German towns and cities. They’ve noticed that, green crap aside, the problem with ungovernable ‘immigration’ is affecting their towns and cities which are financially on their knees. They have noticed as well that all those ‘local events’ where ‘a man’ or ‘men’ knife and kill other people are only caused by a certain group of immigrants.
Germans seem to have reached a point where being labelled ‘Nazi’ by the left isn’t working any longer. They’ve learned during the covid years that using this label is the preferred method of the German powers to suppress any opposition. Those who refused mass vaccination knew they were not Nazis. Those who are critical of green crap know they are not Nazis. More and more Germans have realised that actually, the manifesto of the AfD reads like that of the then still conservative CDU of the 1990s.
Taking all the above together the rise and rise of the AfD is not surprising. It’ll get worse for the establishment parties, especially the formerly conservative CDU which has again refused to enter any coalition with the AfD. This is even more astonishing since they lost in the last election in one of the federal Länder because they planned a coalition with the Greens … Speak of being incapable of understanding the electorate!
I wonder if our Uniparty leaders will learn from this phenomenon: people reject green crap, especially when it clearly impoverishes them. Moreover, this is a trend not exclusive to Germany (link). Are there Nazis everywhere in the EU? How …. astonishing!
Thanks to our electoral system a party like the AfD would have no chance. However, their rise in the German polls might provide an incentive for some politicians, Labour or Tories, to stop taking their knees to Net Zero. One can hope …
That’s all I have for today. When the Allies stormed the Normandy beaches 79 years ago on this day they fought the actual Nazis. Critics of insane government policies are not Nazis, regardless of the outcries of the Westminster swamp dwellers. People across Europe understand this. So should we. Have a good day.
Having looked at the news today on GB News, I was gobsmacked to learn that the morons in the House of Commons who are supposedly our representatives have wasted their time and energy questioning ITV executives about Phillip Schofield and their treatment of him. I thought I read somewhere that he had had a relationship with a 15 year old boy which must surely be a criminal offence if true. Rather than wasting their time and OUR time why aren’t our MP’s devoting as much time to putting an end to the English Channel migrant crisis as they do on trivial matters which should be kept in house at ITV. The bulk of our elected representatives are an absolute joke and making us an absolute laughing stock on the international stage. We need a mass clear out of that place at the earliest opportunity, and all this baloney is happening under a Conservative administration, or should I say a fake Conservative administration.
A little while ago there was some discussion on the game changer tanks being sent to Ukr. Some said they would not last 24 hours. Yesterday and today Leopard 2s went into action and eight Leopard tanks were destroyed. More importantly, that’s probably another thirty odd men dead.
When will Pres Bidet allow the Ukes to surrender and give up the DonBas, that they artillery shelled for eight years – clearly the Ukes still need to retain the DonBas ‘Counties’ for target practice.
That’s the MOD folks. Hot on the lists and rhetoric, and armies of bureaucrats fighting for pensions and votes to the detriment of reality.
Some people who use the word ‘Nazi’ to describe anyone to the right of the Conservative Party have no idea whatsoever of the actual meaning of the word. The Nazis as any historian might tell you were ‘National Socialists’ and that party was formerly called the German Workers Party. The Nazis weren’t really right wing at all, and of course the clue is in the name. When our branch of the UK Independence Party were campaigning for independence from the European Union on the run up to the 2016 referendum some ignorant people stopped at the weekly street stalls we held and called us ‘Nazis’ and such like, and the same happened when we did door step canvassing as well. UKIP is/was so far removed from Nazism it defied belief, but as we know the leftie brigade have difficulty in separating fact from fiction, and use the word to denigrate anyone that has a different view from their own warped view of the world. Similarly when British, Canadian and American forces first engaged the German Army (Wermacht) on the beaches of Normandy, they weren’t fighting Nazis at all. Unlike the SS (Shutzstaffel) and SD (Sicherheitsdienst) and the Gestapo (Geheime Staatspolizie), the normal German Army into which most German men were conscripted were not schooled in National Socialist ideology at all, and quite lot of them were not committed believers in Nazism either. One could not join the SS without being a fully signed up believer in the Nazi creed or who could not match up to the more exacting physical requirements then the German Army or indeed the more rigorous training. The committed Nazis of the Das Reich division were nowhere near Normandy on the 6th June 1944 as they had undergone refitting etc in southern France having transferred from the Eastern Front. And as they made their way north towards Normandy their progress was halted time and again by SOE, Maquis and the French Resistance whose activities made the roads and railway lines impassable. By the time they reached Normandy, the allies had broken out of their beach head and well on their way to liberating large parts of France.
The Nazis never really went away. They just changed their name to the UN, NATO, EU, WHO AND NGOs.
Twice they failed, let’s hope the EU scam isn’t 3rd time lucky.
Chris. They are Fascist rather than Nazi.
Certain parts of the Media with reference to the Conservative Party and its desire to leave the European Union continue to state quite wrongly that the party has/had been taken over by Kippers and UKIP. If that had been the case how is it that none of the leading officials like Nigel Farage, Paul Nuttall and Diane James etc are not in the House of Commons or pulling the strings from behind the scenes etc. These uninformed and uneducated journalists need to go back to school and read up on a bit of political history. And I would hope that if Kippers or a faction of the UK Independence Party had taken over the Conservative Party post 2016, it would have steered that party in a totally different direction to where it is right now somewhere between the Liberal Democrats and the Green Party in the political landscape.
I suggest people buy more insulation. Have fewer babies. Ban Catholicism and rancourous Islam. Invent smaller more efficient of anything. Ration Plastic ( Give the excess Bureaucrats something to do. ). World wide cleanup of all waste. Invent a 99% waste disposer./treater/reducer/ preventer. . Restart Chinese baby rationing.. Point out absurdities like Air fresheners,.Memory foam etc, A University course in calculating optimum environment damage per product per capita.ED/P/C with particular attention to windmills and throw away products.. Imprison inventers of gadgets and dashboard lights. ouch.
Actually it might be an idea to teach your MP the differencebetween GDP and GDP/C
Just saying.
TG- But, but, life will hardly be worth living! And are you saying I should not mention my Gucci shoe tree?
Biscotte…thanks for the BJ clown tee shirt. Colonel H indeed…..
Half way there!
Worship at it in secret. If it’s re-usable
TG Spokes………have fewer babies. Does that apply to men as well then? In all seriousness, rationing plastic does not go far enough, not nearly far enough in my book. Plastic packaging and plastic bottles etc need to be legislated against in parliament and abolished altogether, and we need to return to the age where items that one bought in a shop were packaged in paper and cardboard and takeaway drinks were contained within glass bottles. If breweries can put their beer into glass bottles why cant soft drink manufacturers do the same. Why does Ice Cream for instance need to be put into plastic tubs. I remember back in the sixties when Wall’s Ice Cream was sold in cardboard packaged slabs, and if it worked then, why can’t it work now. However getting our useless parliamentarians to use even a smidgen of common sense these days is probably asking too much. They all go overboard about carbon dioxide emissions and the net zero crap, but very little is being done to cut out the use of plastic packaging which could be done with very little harm to our every day existence. However, there are some members of our parliament who have interests in the packaging business, and their respective pockets are more important than the well being of the rest of us. At least in their eyes it is…….
There was a remarkable speech by Alice Weidal (co-leader of AfD since 2017) in the Bundestag in March 2019 in support of the UK.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=63IcW4eo4uM
It is subtitled in English. Do watch. Do!
I first came across AfD when wishy-washy Bernd Lucke came to London in 2015 to give a talk on the future of the euro (the AfD were founded on euro-scepticism) just before he was displaced by Frauke Petry ( a sort of Anne Marie Waters) who was displaced in turn due to a particularly chaotic phase in AfD. Reminds me of UKIP.
According to Sadiq Khan anyone who opposes his ULEZ expansion is a Nazi. We Nazis are everywhere.
“Our” government needs to bin the green nonsense, capitalise on the German disaster, and invite those companies that would benefit us to our country.
That’s never going to happen Jack Thomas as long as we are governed be unelected supranational bodies that have no interest in democracy, whatever that means. The next generation will kill off any hope of a reversal of the green crap but I won’t be around to hear the wails of contrition.
I wouldn’t disagree Lisa but we can live in hope, fight back or emigrate.
“Fight back or emigrate”. Some of us are fighting back Jack and can’t workout why others are not joining us.
Jake……the sad fact of the matter is that the majority of people do not join political parties, no matter what shade of colour they are. And if they do, they normally take the view that paying the annual subscription is enough, and apart from the odd moan about how nothing changes for the better they are not interested in anything beyond that. In their eyes elections candidates and activists are odd balls who have no life. That is how it was in my local branch of UKIP, and I dare say the same applies with the mainstream parties as well. As Esther Rantzen used to say ‘That’s Life’……..
