Having trawled through yesterday’s papers and having scanned this morning’s MSM ‘efforts’, there’s no escaping the impression that the war drums are sounding louder and louder. Any sane person must surely ask themselves: ‘why?’ And: ‘why now?’
Any sane person must also wonder why, just as with the covid fear porn we were exposed to for two years, editors and opinion piece writers seem to sing from the same hymn sheet. As for me, well known for being a nosey and cynical old cow, I ask: what are TPTB trying to hide?
Let’s look at some intriguing puzzle pieces. There’s the ‘party inquiry’ by Ms Sue Gray. The Westminster MSM had some juicy, shock-horror headlines about what the lady is doing. She allegedly ‘questioned the Downing Street police’ about their ‘shocking report’ regarding the comings and goings ‘in Westminster’ (paywalled link). She also ‘will examine’ Johnson’s official diary (paywalled link).
Amazing, isn’t it, that all those intrepid reporters have found those shocking titbits – or is it? See this:
“The testimonies, which come just days before Ms Gray releases the findings of her report, have now been described as ‘extremely damning’, according to a source. The source went on to claim that while officers could not be compelled to speak to Ms Gray they were ‘only too willing’ to provide cooperate with the probe.” (link)
Ah – so it’s a ‘source’, is it! What a surprise! Here’s another one, who said in the run-up to today’s Dominic Cummings’ meeting with Ms Gray:
“Last night one source […] told The Telegraph: ‘Met officers have spoken to Sue Gray now, as you would expect, and have been able to provide a lot of information. The source added: ‘Put it this way, if Boris Johnson is still Prime Minister by the end of the week, I’d be very surprised.’” (link)
We’re not told, as is customary, if that ‘source’ is in No 10 or Whitehall or in Ms Gray’s office. It doesn’t really matter. What matters is that this what is politely called ‘hostile briefing’, or more robustly: stirring a certain brown substance. Why now though when “we” are being prepared by our propaganda MSM for an armed conflict?
Have there been ‘sources’ whispering about the situation in the Ukraine, about what “we” are planning to do? Well, the former Foreign Secretary, now Justice minister, said on telly yesterday that:
“[…] there would be a ‘robust and concerted’ response after British intelligence discovered Ukrainian politician Yevhen Murayev, who has previously defended Russia’s annexation of Crimea, was being lined up to run the country as a satellite of Moscow.” (link)
Good old MI6! Never mind that nobody in Kiev seems to know this man, according to a DT reporter, but Ukrainians apparently believe that Putin has indeed selected a puppet Ukrainian PM already (paywalled link). These are the same Ukrainians who warned that Putin was planning a coup for mid-December, who told the world that he’d invade in the first week of January. These are the same Ukrainians who have been telling the world’s MSM that there would be a ‘false flag’ event …
Meanwhile, ‘Defence chiefs’ are planning to evacuate about 1,000 Brits in the Ukraine, using the same unit which evacuated Brits from Kabul (link). So it’s serious, innit. But wait – here’s another pretty clear hint why they’re warmongering:
“Ministers have been warned that they will have to contend with record-breaking gas and petrol prices in the event of a Russian invasion of Ukraine. Senior government officials expect Russia to “weaponise” its natural resources by restricting supplies of gas to Europe if the West carries out its threat to impose sanctions. Ministers have been involved in top-level discussions to assess the impact that a reduced supply of gas from Russia would have on prices in Britain.” (link, paywalled)
Now ain’t that interesting: Whitehall mandarins and ministers are preparing the ground to blame Putin and his alleged plans to take over the Ukraine for the coming rise in gas prices. Our own green crappery which has led to a reduction of gas storage because ‘gas ain’t green’ has of course nothing at all to do with that! Even though we don’t import Russian gas, prices would rise on the world market because EU countries depend on Russian gas:
“Other European countries are far more dependent than Britain on Russian gas. About 40 per cent of Germany’s supplies come from Russia while countries such as Sweden and Finland are almost entirely reliant.” (link, paywalled)
We’re in the middle of winter right now so we need to heat our homes and offices. It’s even colder in Sweden and Finland – but they are ‘far away’. Our warmongering ‘journalists’ and ‘sources’ meanwhile are sitting in warm offices or warm “WFH” rooms. Will they receive a ‘heating expenses’ bonus, unlike us peasants who’ll have to pay for all that ourselves?
These people are all utterly disconnected from real life. They play their briefing games even though they must know that their ‘strong man’ posturing is an illusion. For example, the ‘defence chiefs’ plan an evacuation of Brits like the one they did in Kabul – jolly good, until we remember that a young FO civil servant told the MSM how there was hardly any staff dealing with this crisis, that sometimes he was the only one present.
Now see yesterday’s truly shocking article in the DM which hardly made any waves, under this headline:
“’We’ll work from home forever’: Civil servants vow to fight returning to offices despite Boris Johnson declaring war on the ‘Whitehall blob’ – as it’s revealed some officials have even relocated out to the Cotswolds and Cornwall to WFH” (link)
And these are the people going to run an evacuation? According to The Times this morning, ‘civil service trade unions’ will resist Johnson tooth-and-claw (paywalled link), war or not. Let’s just remind ourselves that it’s us who pay for these WFH skiving civil serpents, with our taxes and the VAT we pay on higher gas prices and on their green ‘schemes’. Why should we pay for them to eat cake?
These little puzzle pieces form an unlovely picture. ‘Sources’ inside Whitehall brief about ‘Party Gate’ because they hope to get rid of Johnson who wants them back in their offices. They’re happy to have the cabinet in turmoil at the same time as warmongers are beating their drums: not a clever ploy when “we” allegedly must prepare for war.
There’s one other aspect which puzzles me. Given the two years of covid propaganda paid for by certain billionaires, supported by certain figures in the WEF: are they paying for this war propaganda as well? Wouldn’t a war put paid to all their vax campaigns? Does the WEF – they’ve just concluded their Davos get-together – believe a little war is just the ticket for their ‘great reset’?
Since our esteemed ‘journalists’ are not asking those questions, can we assume that they are happy, useful idiots, believing that somehow the WEF and those billionaires will be able to limit this war and get rid of Putin? Are they oblivious to the fact that the wily Mr Xi may well take this opportunity to go on a little land grab of his own?
So why are the propaganda outlets, national and international, manufacturing another fear porn epic? What are they trying to hide? I believe they are desperate to keep our attention away from the covid scandal, the sad truths coming out every day about manipulated numbers, about jab ‘collateral damages’. Why should they report that, showing up their own incompetence!
Above all: who needs to worry about covid and all that jazz when “we” can be distracted by a nice little ‘local’ war without ‘consequences’ for us. “They” will tell us what to do and how to think, won’t they! After two years they’re well trained in fear propaganda – and they’ve also trained us well.
Or so they think …
The Honours list is a good starting point. Everyone on it I should say!
I’m also looking at those MPs and Lords who voted for various bad statutes, which did not spring up on our statute books by magic. E.g, the depraved Sex Education material being forced on children. I understand that the Children and Social Work Act 2017 was the enabling Act for the The Relationships Education, Relationships and Sex Education and Health Education (England) Regulations 2019. Some secondary legislation. like this one, needs to be discussed and voted on some not depending on the stipulations of the enabling act. I am however having difficulty finding the list of who voted for this. I would also like to know who composed the text.
It seems that many in government and elsewhere are supporting our re-entry into the EU. Of course they use the NI mess created by Boris as one of their excuses along with Covid and greenness. We need to be ready to face down these people including what appears to be a significant number in Parliament. It is time to reinstate a robust Treason and Sedition Law as selling us out to the EU would surely be an act of treason?
We would be well advised to keep a watch on the activities of such people but I guess reinstating the necessary laws will be a difficult struggle unless / until we are able to elect a true British government.
I keep an eye on the betting
Brexit UK to rejoin the EU as full member before 2026?
Currently yes 1/20.
6 mths ago it was better than 1/100
Put another way GB is slipping towards rejoining.
I see various websites are coming up with dossiers of names and faces responsible for all the Covid death and destruction, and will not let their culpability be forgotten. We should do likerwise with those nearer home, as well as the global figures, who get us into a catastrophic war which looks likely. The hawkish Tobias Ellwood to go near the top of the list plus the hItherto faceless civil servants
“We should do likerwise with those nearer home”. (sic)
Shouldn’t be too hard Mary.
Look at the honours list for inspiration.
I nominate Peter Horby for starters.
Lets start a list shall we?
‘These people are all utterly disconnected from real life.’ And how.
Saw a fascinating chat on GBNews with Robert Fox and a Ukraine expert, from a think tank, who really was.
Here’s a few points, that I can remember, that never surface.
Ukraine has the third largest military in Europe.
They have their own anti-tank, anti-aircraft systems and do not need ours. So what was that bit of Foreign Office sabre rattling all about?
Putin has no where near enough troops gathered to take over the country, and much heavy equipment that is wholly unsuited to that task.
They need freezing conditions or it will simply get bogged down. So narrow and unpredictable windows for action, as Napoleon and Hitler found going in the other direction.
Crimea was historically Russian and was ceded as part of a dodgy deal. Folk there speak and feel Russian, so it wasn’t so much annexed by Russia as rightfully reclaimed, despite the propaganda to the contrary. That is why there was no real outcry.
The Donbas region, the other Russian speaking area of Ukraine, is nowhere near as sympathetic to being ruled by Russia, as Crimea.
The Russian people are not being told what is happening there (I know how they feel) and will kick up if body bags start coming home, for a ‘needless’ conflict.
NATO was drifting quietly into irrelevance and a fresh threat is just what it needed.
Interesting Phil O’S. Particularly your last sentence.
Apparently the Ukraine has the third biggest army, so probably in no need of any military assistance from little old Britain whose Army numbers considerably less than 90,000 men and women in total. The utterly useless Conservative Party have ruled over us since 2010 and gone about reducing Army manpower to ridiculously low numbers, reducing tanks and artillery pieces, dramatically reducing the number of surface ships of the Royal Navy and only having four Submarines at its disposal, and as far the RAF, clueless politicians made the ludicrous decision to axe the Tornado strike force without having a suitable replacement plane in place, and although they sanctioned the building of two giant Aircraft carriers which have now been commissioned, at one time they had no aircraft on board. And there was I thinkin g at one time that the Conservatives were renown for being a party of Law and Order and strong defences. Well, that theory has well and truly been blown out of the water, and clueless Johnson has continued that process of degrading our armed forces, in the name of saving money. Rather than wanting Britain and its third world sized armed forces to be used as a backup to Ukrainian forces against the supposed imminent Russian onslaught, dopey Johnson and his inept crew should be keeping us well out of it and not encouraging the Ukraine to either join the European Union or NATO. If Boris Johnson alias Captain Manwaring wants to travel to the Ukraine with the Westminster branch of the now defunct Home Guard armed with broomsticks and such like, that would be ok with me. At least then, in his absence we could appoint someone with a bit of common sense to be prime minister of this country.
The Army may have been emasculated, but instead we have the best health service in the World.
Here are a couple of very short Katie Hopkins videos that you really should watch, the titles are self explanatory.
“It begins. Phase one of a Social Credit System in Europe.”
https://youtu.be/69WAjj4m8sc
“Welcome to all the new joiners to our fight for freedom. No to Social Credit System.”

I think we should prepare for war, but not with Putin. Oh and as the treasury is awash with money from the magic money tree, all pensioner households should receive £10,000 as a one-off payment to cope with the extra expense of putting up with the bulls**t that eminates from parliament and the MSM.
When I see comments about the magic money tree, I chuckle remembering the PM questions where labour asked about funding.
BJ said we have not got a magic money tree, but the party opposite has a magic money forest.
BJ must have found it and been taking cuttings eh?
1000 expats to be rescued by the same crack(crackpot?) unit that rescued all those Afghans? Holy smoke! Does that mean 25,000 Ukraine citizens to be housed by Crapita? Snatched from the evil Putin with his common sense opinion on multi-culturalism? Our elites/TPTB see Putin in the same way they see Trump or Farage or Tommy Robinson. Putin isn’t in the globalist club. Too busy looking after Russian interests which includes the Russian people. It is hard not to disagree with the Russian view of Truss and Raab when they accuse our very own politicians of talking nonsense. The British government should stay well out of the Ukraine.
Matt up North I go along with every word written but of course Labour would be much worse I hear the credulous closet Tories wimper.
The men in suits that now want to ditch ‘the Boris’, but voted time and time with him over the last two years, the media apparently bought and paid for who have done well out of all the paid for propaganda, the broadcast media still pushing their anti brexit message six years on, the bought and paid for public sector now turning against ‘ the Boris’ now they they are being instructed to actually do the jobs they are paid for, and all the people out there who were apparently against lockdown and the restrictions all the time , and spent the entire lockdown locked down in their homes never venturing out even to their own back gardens , short memories it seems ( who knew ) well here is a reminder of what thousands were doing on May 20 2020, And by the way , as most of the civil servants not to mention the public sector in general and the furrlowed millions were according to them all duitifully locked away and working from home, just what were these workers at the Cabinett Office actually doing, it employs hundreds of people and it’s not an ‘operational’ department, ‘just asking for a friend . Anyway to remind the MSM and all those with selectively short memories what the ‘public in their thousands were doing on the same day as ‘the party’ . Take a look at this and then throw more stones. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1284977/coronavirus-uk-lockdown-news-social-distancing-southend-beach-police
Like those Japanese soldiers isolated on remote pacific islands who kept fighting the war long after it was over, and Remoaners (you notice it’s almost the same crowd) these people’s hypocrisy is impossible to miss. They self-righteously screamed about following The Science (and teachers, if no one else, should know better than to commit that ignorant solecism) until The Science, whatever it was, left them stranded, or as Neil Oliver so brilliantly put it – naked swimmers revealed as the tide goes out – whereupon they find alternative reasons not to desist, which are revealed as naked alright, naked self-interest; nothing to do with health (notwithstanding that the last two years have been nothing to do with health, either, of course.)
NATO Uncle Sam the EU and Britain have mercilessly antagonised Putin since discovering he was no Yeltsin. They are particularly angry that he is committed to upholding the sovereignty of Russia and doesn’t go along with the destructive western liberal nor economic globalisation. He has much right to protect the Russian sphere of influence as the Americans do via the Monroe Doctrine which forbids foreign military adventures in North and Central America.
Here’s a very interesting fourteen minute video that takes a humorous look at our dystopian, technology driven future. This may be a humorous take on things but it has a serious side to it and I think that it is so accurate that it is frightening; well worth watching. Very entertaining but this has a very serious warning.
“A dystopian future in Utopia”
https://rumble.com/vt64dm-a-dystopian-future-in-utopia.html
A prophetic warning? Certainly if we don’t resist.
