Go test yourselves … your common sniffle might be Omicron
Scanning the MSM to see what their esteemed editors found eminently newsworthy is always a revelation, even more so after a couple of days of abstinence. The wonderful thing is that hordes of them, always copying from each other, aren’t even aware of the dots they ought to have connected, never mind wondering if just possibly, just maybe, their own breathless reporting and ponderous editorial opinion pieces might have created the situations about which they write in outrage the following day.
Take the revelation that the Afghan Allies were ‘abandoned to the Taliban’ because our civil serpents were WFH and worried about the ‘work-life balance’ (paywalled here and here, gruesome details of the whistleblower’s report here). Shocking, innit, that the civil serpents did what the covid empire told them to do! Even more shocking that the then Foreign Secretary didn’t issue a special directive or guidance, ordering everybody back to their desks.
I dunno what that whistleblower thought Mr Raab could’ve done against the power of the top mandarins and civil service trade unions. It’s nice though to see someone lay bare the working practices in Whitehall, even though he carefully omits to mention the ongoing covid policies regarding WFH. It’s also nice to know that this ‘Downing Street Christmas Party Scandal’ which passed me by is now blamed on … civil servants.
Do those Westminster editors who seem to have turned into puritanical covid wardens actually realise that the rest of the nation, certainly those outside the M25, are simply not paying attention to their ongoing covid hysteria? Do they not realise that their scary graphs and headlines are simply shrugged off? So what if the Brazilian government has cancelled Rio de Janeiro’s New Year’s Eve festivities because they found six (!) new Omicron cases (link)? Who’d want to fly there or elsewhere anyway, given the quarantines and expensive PCR tests? Only the higher echelons in the WFH public services have the money and their secure jobs to do so – so let them moan and suffer.
But wait – there’s the latest warning, by an eminent scientist no less, who was interviewed for The Times. Never mind that his observations are bound to pour fuel on the WFH fire. As the various Westminster correspondents are busily blaming Johnson for everything, from cancelled Christmas parties to not accelerating that booster jab roll-out while case numbers rise (link, paywalled and paywalled link), Professor Tim Spector told The Times that:
“[…] many people catching the virus now did not have the fever, persistent cough or loss of sense of smell that remain the official triggers for testing. We’re estimating that somewhere between one in three and one in four colds are actually due to Covid,” he said. “And so that’s quite a high rate of people that are currently not even bothered to get a lateral flow test, or getting a PCR test, going to parties and spreading it around.”(link, paywalled)
The DT and the DM dutifully copied that Times Interview. Thus you can read what amounts to this skiver’s charter here in the DM, not paywalled. If “we” must now be aware that the sniffles and the coughs we pick up this time of year might be covid, even ‘Omigawd – Omicron’, then we better all stay at home. It’s what the covid empire wants, isn’t it. So the wails by surgeons reported in The Times about huge numbers of operations being cancelled due to staff shortages (link, paywalled) clearly come under ‘what did you expect? We might have Omicron!’
Meanwhile, the complaints about that booster-jab campaign having stalled lead to a remarkable observation. People in Westminster now fear that this might mean all those lovely mask mandates and other insane restrictions might not be lifted by Christmas. Reporting on the current (Mr Javid, since you asked) Covid Emperor’s warnings about the rapid spread of Omicron – 336 new cases! – the DT mentions ‘concerns’ that “the current restrictions, which saw face masks and travel curbs reintroduced last month, are increasingly unlikely to be eased when reviewed by the Government next week” (paywalled link). Well, that’s the aim, isn’t it!
We better all stay at home when we have a sniffle – it might be Omicron-Covid, or so that eminent Professor told the nation. The civil serpents do so anyway. A knave who thinks the stalling of that booster roll-out is due to their WFH, their worries about their ‘work-life balance’! It’s in fact a welcome excuse for keeping their covid boots firmly on our necks.
Meanwhile ponder another casualty of the lockdowns about which we won’t read in the Westminster MSM: the effect the horrendous covid fear campaigns and mask mandates have on our children. It’s not even about the covid jabs. It’s more pernicious. A friend wrote me, describing the following instances: there’s a ten-year-old boy who has developed a phobia of germs, constant hand-washing included. That boy is scared to go out. There’s a five-year-old girl who has come down with chicken pox. When her Mother telephoned the school to alert them to the fact in case they wanted to watch out for other cases she was told that the school has had a ‘mass outbreak’ of chickenpox.
Yes, that’s anecdotal – but there were also reports elsewhere of children coming down with RSV, a common virus causing coughs but potentially deadly in children. Usually kids give it to each other, thus acquiring immunity, but not when prevented by lockdowns, masks, social distancing and all that jazz. And we, our Health Tsar, our eminent scientists, our politicians and MSM obsess about common winter sniffles because they might be ‘Omicron’! All I say is: you Westminster bubble dwellers wanted it so now live with it, with the staff shortages because people will stay at home with sniffles and the common cold. Tough. Meanwhile it’s encouraging to read that we ordinary plebs are shunning tests and are trying to get on with our lives.
Should this covid government attempt to introduce those continental ‘covid passports’, now combined with daily tests for jabbed and unjabbed alike, I believe that our patience will finally snap.
Omicron, given its reported mild effects, should be welcomed as a possible enhancer of our natural immunity.
My brother developed shingles after taking his vaccine.
His Doctor admitted that it was caused by the vaxxine.
His friend also, at the same time.
They were both ill for 2 months.
I was listening to the Nigel Farage programme this evening on the GB News Channel as I do every evening and was rather astounded and pleased by what he said concerning the number of right of centre political parties at the moment who split the vote during elections etc. He said this needs to be looked at as it represents the best chance of putting salt on Boris Johnson’s tail. At last someone on our side of politics talking sense, but then in my opinion Farage invariably does talk sense. A couple of weeks ago I saw an advertisement for a meeting in London at the 02 Centre to be held on the 8th December 2021 I think it was, which will feature Nigel Farage and Laurence Fox of Reclaim. I would have gone but the tickets were set at £24.00 each which is not an amount I want to pay to be told of something I already know. Nevertheless is this the start of a new political alignment of the right of centre. We need a loose alliance of parties of the right to fight under one banner AND one leader at election time and provide the electorate an alternative to the unconservative Conservative Party led by Boris Johnson who is Liberal at best. And Nigel Farage is that person as far as I am concerned. We need a common ground of policies which everyone can get behind, not the awful set of policies which Reform UK presently subscribe to. Farage is the best presenter on GB News by far, but the supposed breaks where the commercials breaks would normally be, drive me to distraction. They are so tedious.
I saw it Colin and agree with your comments
Even if, at this present moment, centre Right parties cannot agree to amalgamate they could, surely, agree not to stand against each other in constituency elections.
Just imagine; Boris Johnson as a snail or, better still, a slug. I will cherish the image…
Slugs and snails Jack Thomas. As it happens my home was invaded by them when I had a back door put in.
A copper strip has stopped the problem and such a simple measure has not damaged the environment or anything else!
Agreed Colin re alternative right ‘parties’ getting together under N.F.’s leadership.
https://www.conservativewoman.co.uk/evidence-that-torpedoes-javids-jab-them-all-crusade/ Here is a very good summary of the corruption and scamdemic that will never end peacefully.
Your last paragraph hit home Viv. Although mandates have already been brought in (still ignored by many) I am ready to snap and really hope there is a mass breakout of defiance. I feel no sympathy for what I hope is coming to the perpetrators, especially “so what” Jabbit.
Isn’t it all over now. Just left for politicians to pick over thecarcas of Britain, While the Moronic spreads and gives immunity at the same time. Therebye showing the world how idiotic or at least how silly they look. Can somebody realise that this was designed, planned and progressed in preperation for something else
We have been given a lesson.
It is also obvious we are too many people.
It is even more clear that we cannot be trusted using politics, to solve the myriad waste problems.
It is quite clear that politics and scientists and big business working together, .,can successfully screw us all up.
It is also quite clear that Every leader is humanand useless
It may become obvious that the wrong people are frightened, so we wlii be softened some more but differently.. We know that economies can be destroyed , but technology can continue developing.. However, populayion growth and therefore religions which that propogate these basically tasteless, outdated and unhelpful will need modifying to survive.
I think we may see a new religion.? I don’t know I’m only guessing on the bases of facts and probabilities . And because it amuses me.
Glad you are back Viv.
Now I’ve a memory like a sieve, (always have had) but I could have sworn we were told 80% of common colds were caused by a Covid virus. That is NOT covid19, just A covid virus.
Now it seems ‘they’ are messing about again with the chicken pox/shingles virus/vaccine. That’s the one that continues to give me problems 6ish years later.
(Journalists) “not even aware of the dots they ought to have connected, never mind wondering if … their own breathless reporting and ponderous editorial opinion pieces might have created the situations about which they write in outrage the following day” – quite a vicious vicious circle indeed.
It seems to me that our society has increasingly become sicker and sicker solely because of our search for perfection, or 100 % , or even, would you believe it, more. This has been brought about by the search for any story.. Watching a line of policemen waste time on hands and knees crawling across a road or field, looking for a clue. Brings home the pointlessness of perfection. For example, those half dozen coppers could be in the town centre finding out who is a problem before it happens, re-assuring Mums that there are 5 more coppers in the station on call if some-ones husband is beating the kids.
What’s going wrong ?.. It is everywhere. All the time. Above. Behind . Out of sight. The sloppy search for 100 %.. Waiting Lists for operations. For prosecutions. Pothole filling. Recladding.. Appointments systems. The ridiculous inventions of ” Human Resources.”. IT. Risk Assessment. Agencies. Telephone Queueing. Uman Rights ( When the child next door is being beaten into a cabbage ).
Wanting to know everything can become a disease Whose symptoms include Excessive bureaucracy, An excuse for delay and ( Yes ) Sloppiness. And, Perfection can be boring or lead to elaborate excess.
Anyway; You know what I mean . !
Our MSM truly are a menace and cause most of our problems.
Last para: As part of the “Together” Campaign many of us yesterday phoned (or emailed) our MPs protesting against vacpasses.
I emailed and got an answer by return saying that he doesn’t like the idea but wouldn’t rule out supporting vacpasses in future if the need arose , “on a temporary basis”, LOL.
PS “and cause most of our problems.” well perhaps I wouldtake that out. but they share much of the blame.
That’s an idea mary. I’ll look into that.
Err . . . no. I’ll stick with threatening them with the Nuremberg Code.
Already emailed the cabinet at private office at no 10 address.
There’s so much alternative information about covid now, much of it from highly trained and skilled people yet governments ignore it, claiming the jabs are safe and effective when they are neither. What does this say about our government when they would lie to us and use propaganda to coerce us and our children to have potentially lethal injections. Here is one article from ZeroHedge.
“Casedemic: The Hideous Scandal Of The Irredeemably Flawed PCR Test”
https://www.zerohedge.com/covid-19/casedemic-hideous-scandal-irredeemably-flawed-pcr-test
It’s not surprising that governments are able to produce covid breakouts just when it suits their agenda. Not only is covid a fraud, the main reason for it is to force us to accept these pernicious vaccines.
Quite so flyer.
Main purposeS are to force us to accept these pernicious vaccines and national DICTATORSHIP, leading to U.N. Global Reset.
I.M.H.O. anyway.
Indeed flyer.
Thanks Flyer for posting that fabulous expose of PCR tests.
I was compelled by the lucid ( even for me) factual presentation and dicection of the history of how the PCR test was designed to operate convince me there are those in charge, plus many regulatory officials who are trained to ” know better” who are being silenced or choose to be silent, maybe out of fear of persecution, loss of their position and or livelihoods.
Unfortunately for them I do not believe silence will be a valid defence against a charge of False Represntatiom or even worse crimes against humanity.
Again this article is a MUST to ein every home in the country, it is dynamite.
One comment more,
I have seen comments on here where the actual number of cycles ( of magnification, I have now learned from this article) are mentioned, but for everybod’s information I would like to see them again in print
Until this article came along I hadn’t a clue why that information was so important
