War Porn: will our MSM wean themselves off their addiction?
As we’re gliding into that extra-long Bank Holiday Weekend celebrating the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, the ‘propaganda party line’ given out to our MSM looks to be: no scare stories, keep things nice and soft. Thus, the only ‘shock-horror’ headlines we’re getting is that ‘Johnson may be toast’ and some grumbling about that ‘travel chaos’, according to the now customary compilation (link).
We all know and remember: there were many stories about Tories rebelling, with a running tally of how many Tory MPs had sent letters to the 1922 Committee. We also all know and remember, these ‘rebellions’ came to nought. So let’s wait and see how this one works out. As for a Johnson-replacement, there’s a certain Mr Hunt being pushed by some hacks in the London Times …
So let’s look instead at the main horror-propaganda issue: the war in the Ukraine. We’re informed that Biden will now send some really heavy and ‘more advanced rocket systems’ to the Ukraine which are
“[…] capable of travelling nearly 80km, a senior US official confirmed. It came after Ukraine gave assurances to the US that it would not use the precision-guided munitions against targets inside Russia. Ukraine will be provided with a small number of the medium-range M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (Himars), a senior Biden administration official said.” (paywalled link)
I find it so cute that Biden believes Ellen Sky, noting also that a ‘Biden official’ assures the world that they clearly don’t believe those reassurances because they’re only giving the small stuff to the Ukraine, namely that with “rockets capable of 48 miles (77km)”, while the system with a range of 190miles won’t be sent (paywalled link).
I apologise for quoting a remark on this latest ‘weapons promise’ by Dmitry Medvedev, Mr Putin’s deputy, which was made on the Russian telegram channel and which I picked up elsewhere. It’s machine translated:
”Reasonable!” – Medvedev said, commenting on Biden’s decision not to supply Ukraine with missile systems that reach Russian territory. “Otherwise, when attacking our cities, the Russian Armed Forces would have fulfilled their threat and struck at the centers for making these criminal decisions. Some of them are not located in Ukraine at all. There is no need to explain what happens next …”
I suggest that the Pentagon was fully aware of this observation and that they know there would be retaliation should Ukrainians attack Russian targets inside Russia. There might also have been a long overdue recognition in the Pentagon that sending more stuff to the Ukraine would become more and more futile. After all, Ellen Sky actually acknowledged to US listeners yesterday that:
“The daily casualties of the Ukrainian armed forces amount to about 60-100 servicemen killed and around 500 injured, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview to the Newsmax television.” (link)
It’s actually worse, according to the daily reports by the Russian Ministry of Defence, for example this one from yesterday morning, but such niceties are of no concern to our MSM. At that link you’ll also find some horrible news about the situation left behind by those Azovstal ‘fighters’ – the ones which surrendered a couple of weeks ago.
Since our ‘Ukraine correspondents’ feel they need to keep the war propaganda going, The Times presents us with another sob story by a British ‘volunteer’, headlined ”Britons fight and die like cannon-fodder in Ukraine, says teenage volunteer” (link, paywalled). This story isn’t news, it’s simply a space filler because the teenager who reiterated what we’ve already heard from other volunteers, from having their passports taken away to not being trained, not given arms and stuff.
He is one of those who fled back to Poland rather than go and fight and if his confession, that this war isn’t a game, helps other youngsters to refrain from going, then that’s fine. Only – this ought to have been published at the beginning of this war, because at that time the shelling and killing of civilians in the Donbas area by Ukrainians had been going on for eight years.
That was no game – but it’s something our MSM and our gung–ho politicians have been diligently sweping under the carpet. The one relevant piece of information was hidden somewhere in the middle of this story:
“The Foreign Office said it does not know how many British citizens have travelled to Ukraine or how many have died there. Channel 4 reported that Atkin was among “hundreds, possibly thousands of British citizens responding to President Zelensky’s call for military help”.” (link, paywalled)
That is absolutely despicable. La Truss did declare at the beginning (link) that volunteers were free to go to the Ukraine to help against bad Putin – and now her department, the FO is officially ignorant of who went, who died, who came back! Moreover, see this official statement as told to The Times:
“The Foreign Office said: “We advise against all travel to Ukraine and that British nationals should leave Ukraine immediately if they judge it is safe to do so. Our priority is supporting those remaining British nationals and their families who are trying to leave.” (link, paywalled)
Are we to understand that those volunteer ‘fighters’ took their families with them? Strewth! Why don’t our MSM report on those British families if there are any? Why don’t they ask if La Truss and her mandarins have washed their hands of those ‘brave volunteers’?
I’ll finish with one other snippet I found in TASS. You might recall that at the outbreak of this war Turkey was asked to close the Bosporus to warships because the USA and the Ukraine feared that some of the Russian warships in the Mediterranean might go back to the Black Sea and support the Russian Navy vessels stationed there. Turkey complied – and this has now come back to bite NATO:
“Turkey has cancelled or postponed some planned NATO drills in the Black Sea due to the requirements of the Montreux Convention amid tensions between Russia and Ukraine, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in an interview with the Anadolu Agency on Tuesday.” (link)
Shame, innit! Ah well – NATO can ‘exercise’ on dry land, in Poland and Norway, as they’re doing at the moment and will be doing in the coming weeks, see the official statement by NATO here. I wonder if we’ll see nice photos of valiant NATO soldiers. So far there’s been nothing official from the exercise in Poland … No, don’t ask if they’re exercising with broomsticks because most weapons have been sent to the Ukraine!
I leave you with another juicy Partygate titbit because the fallout is still with us, now also biting Starmer and his crew who are being questioned by Durham police: Cummings has accused Princess NutNuts of having had parties at Chequers and at No 10 which Ms Gray apparently did not investigate (paywalled link). Oh dear … Beware a man scorned, innit like!
Here’s hoping that our MSM will wean themselves off the ongoing war porn they’ve been bombarding us with, out of respect for the Queen. Perhaps they might use their time off and ponder the fundamental question raised by this despicable Partygate theatre, the question of why we should trust our ‘lawgivers’ in No 10 and the HoC when they so clearly disregarded the draconian strictures they imposed on us.
If they won’t follow their own rules – why should we?
Here’s an interesting article for you, it gives an insight as to why Biden is so keen to protect the Ukraine.
“Ukraine – the corporate annexation”
https://theecologist.org/2014/mar/21/ukraine-corporate-annexation
That’s quite a tangled web of players isn’t it Flyer?
THANK YOU flyer!
Doesn’t it just make the point that ‘The West’ is far more the aggressor than ‘Bad Putin’. I had worked out that the E.U. was probably in need of food produced in Ukraine but didn’t realise that U.S. also wanted it.
Ukraine may be taster for corporate plunder but Russian plundervia regime change is the real agenda as this restores the waning Pax Americana and isolates China too
Russian regime is the real goal which if the USA can pull it off would isolate China and restore PaxAmericana then open the door for US carpetbaggers. Ukraine has already capitulated to the US carpet baggers I presume but of course Uncle Sam will dump Ukraine like a used birth control device if it all goes wrong.

“Not fit for purpose”
ESPECIALLY HUNT remainder to his boot straps and should have been hanged for his escape via private secretary getting the blame at the big press enquiry where he was all for sanctioning SKY takeover or s one thing worse, can’t remember the full story, but I he’s a first class sh*te
Oh and he was also instrumental in the ruination of the NHS and even he expected to get the sack for that
Yes ‘m’ this is wonderful news, to be honest I thought it was fake news when I read it last night.
Now, shall we also hear all about this in the MSM? (Not a chance!)
Just as a matter of interest you mention Australia and the USA and UK supported, who else?
Canada, NZ! Macron, you know the rest of the WEF imbeciles?
A proper and diligent chronicler of this pathetic disagreement of methods between American Aggressive sales techniques and Russian pride. is now required.
Mr Johnson, in a letter of reply released on Tuesday evening, said he had taken “full responsibility for everything that took place on my watch” in light of lockdown-busting gatherings in Downing Street, and denied he broke the ministerial code.
He reiterated there was “no intent to break the regulations”, adding: “I did not consider that the circumstances in which I received a fixed penalty notice were contrary to the regulations.
“I have accepted the outcome and paid it in compliance with legal requirements. Paying a fixed penalty notice is not a criminal conviction.
“In relation to the fixed penalty notice for my attendance in the Cabinet Room on June 19, 2020, I believe that, taking account of all the circumstances, I did not breach the code.”
So that’s OK then. The Fat Controller takes full responsibility for everything that took place… thats a first innit.
He had “no intent to break the regulations”. Try that defence at the Old Bailey. Translates into, “I didn’t think I’d be caught.
Problem. Of all the wannabees lining up for his job, none are fit for purpose.
Re : setback for the WHO treaty and amendments,
https://www.onenation.org.au/who-forced-into-humiliating-backdown
Compare and contrast the 3rd world countries who are pushing back against the WHO criminals, with our own spineless corrupt Western politicians who are quite happy to throw us to the wolves and would happily allow UN paramilitary thugs to come onto British soil and force jab us in our own homes.
Yes, Flyer posted a link yesterday and it has been featured on the EXPOS’E. Small consolation at least ‘m’.
Yes, the African countries know they will be the first in the firing line for a ‘health emergency’ and enforcement (occupation) by UN troops, if they signed. But beware. In true globalist style it is only postponed giving them time to bribe all the detractors and give it a coat of camouflage paint for the rest, or arrange a pandemic of squirrels.
Good news but they will keep trying; the WHO needs to be de-funded and destroyed along with the other globalist organisations wanting a world government.
